Abstract

Abstract

Menstrual pain (Dysmenorrhea) is pain in the lower abdomen that spreads to the waist and thighs that is felt before and after menstruation. Dysmenorrhea can be experienced by women who have higher intrauterine pressure and have twice the prostaglandin levels than women who do not experience dysmenorrhea. In the world, the incidence of desmenorrhea exceeds 50%. Meanwhile in Indonesia, it is estimated that 55% of productive women experience dysmenorrhea which interferes with their activities. Dysmenorrhea pain can be treated with non-pharmacological therapy, one of which is deep breathing relaxation techniques. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on reducing dysmenorrhea pain in adolescent girls at the Indah Dormitory in Cemani Village, Sukoharjo Regency. This research uses a quasi-experimental approach with a one group pre-test and post-test design approach. The research sample was 60 young female respondents with sampling using random sampling techniques. The results showed that there was a significant reduction in pain levels in the intervention group after the deep breathing relaxation technique was carried out. The average reduction in pain in the intervention group was 2.5 points on the VAS scale, while the control group only experienced a reduction of 0.5 points. The statistical test results showed a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the intervention group and the control group, indicating that the deep breathing relaxation technique was effective in reducing dysmenorrhea pain. Beautiful Cemani Village. It is hoped that young women can perform deep breathing relaxation techniques correctly when experiencing pain due to dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) is a vital commodity in Indonesia’s sugar industry and is highly susceptible to leaf diseases such as Mosaic, RedRot, Rust, and Yellow, which significantly reduce yield quality and quantity. This study proposes an automatic disease classification system using the ResNet50 architecture with a transfer learning approach, offering a more systematic evaluation compared to previous studies that typically tested only a single configuration or focused on other crops. The dataset consists of 3,250 RGB images across five classes after preprocessing and augmentation to address class imbalance. Eight model configurations were evaluated by combining epoch values (20, 40) and learning rates (0.0001, 0.001, 0.01, 0.1). The best performance was achieved by the configuration with 20 epochs and a learning rate of 0.0001, producing an accuracy and F1-score of 97%. The model was further deployed into a Flask-based web application to demonstrate practical usability. However, this study is limited by the use of a single controlled dataset, so model performance may vary under real-field conditions such as different lighting, camera angles, and leaf damage severity. Future research should include field data evaluation to strengthen model generalization.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the influence of Organizational, Professional Ethics on Auditor Performance with Professionalism as a moderating variable. Design/methodology/approach – The study uses primary data with a sample of 35 respondents, selected through random sampling. The research employs quantitative methods to assess the relationships between the variables, analyzing the data to determine the impact on Auditor Performance. Findings – The results showed that Organizational Commitment has a significant positive effect on Auditor Performance. Professional Ethics has a positive but insignificant effect on Auditor Performance. Professionalism does not strengthen the relationship between Organizational Commitment to Auditor Performance. Professionalism does not strengthen the relationship between Professional Ethics on Auditor Performance. Research limitations/implications – The study is limited by its relatively small sample size of 35 respondents, which may impact the generalizability of the findings. Future research could expand the sample or explore additional variables to better understand the factors affecting Auditor Performance in various contexts.

Abstract

Nutritional problems and food insecurity remain critical challenges in Indonesia, especially in underprivileged areas. To address this, the Lamongan City Government launched the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program as a public welfare initiative. This study aims to evaluate public opinion on the MBG program using sentiment analysis based on a hybrid machine learning model combining K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Naive Bayes algorithms. A total of 2,261 public comments were collected from social media, online surveys, and interviews. The data underwent preprocessing, feature extraction using TF-IDF, and dual-stage classification—first by topic (Menu, Impact, Schedule, Others) using Naive Bayes, then sentiment classification (positive, negative, neutral) using KNN. Evaluation metrics including accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-Score were applied. Results show that neutral sentiment was the most dominant (41.28%), followed by positive (32.01%) and negative (26.49%). The model achieved an overall accuracy of 87%, with the highest F1-Score of 0.91 in the positive sentiment category. These results demonstrate that the hybrid model effectively captures community perceptions and can support data-driven evaluation of local social programs.
