Abstract

The Purpose of this research were to find out (1) the difference of average study result in integrated social studies using Contextual Teaching and Learning approach and conventional approach, and (2) the influence of Contextual Teaching and Learning to average study result at SMP N 31 Bandar Lampung. This research used quasi experiment method. The population in this study amounted to 258 students of class IX. The sample of this research were IX E and IX F students. Technique Data analysis was done by t-test and simple linier regression analysis test. Data collected through test, observation and documentation. The result showed (1) theres a significant difference in average study result of grade IX students in integrated social studies using Contextual Teaching and Learning, and (2) there is an influence of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach to grade IX student average study result in integrated social studies.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar IPS Terpadu menggunakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning dan pendekatan konvensional, dan (2) ada pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPS Terpadu di SMP Negeri 31 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 258 siswa kelas IX dengan sampel siswa kelas IX E dan kelas IX F. Teknik Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t-test dan uji analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Ada perbedaan signifikan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas IX pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu menggunakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning, dan (2) Ada pengaruh pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap hasil belajar rata-rata siswa kelas IX pada Mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu.Kata Kunci : contextual teaching and learning, hasil belajar, ilmu pengetahuan social terpadu

Abstract

This research was aimed to know and analyse (1)  the  difference between  the  students’geographics learning results  which  used environment usage nature as the learning sources and the students’ geographics learning results which used conventional (2) the usage of the environment usage nature as the learning sources in the students’geographics  learning  results. This research used quasi experiment method. The population of this research was all of the students  of  XI  IPS  A class,  where  the  sample  classes  were  XI  IPS  A  as  the experimental class and XI IPS B as the control class. Data technique used was t-test and correlation product moment analysis. The results showed that (1) there was a difference between the students’ geographics learning results using the environment usage nature as the learning sources and the students’ geographics learning results using conventional learned results, 2) there was an influence of environment usage nature as the learning sources of the students’ geographics learning results.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis (1) perbedaan hasil belajar geografi siswa yang menggunakan pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sebagai sumber belajar dengan hasil belajar geografi siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, (2) pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS, dengan sampel kelas XI IPS A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IPS B sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dan analisis korelasi produk moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Ada perbedaan hasil belajar geografi siswa yang menggunakan pemanfaatan  lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar dengan hasil belajar geografi siswa menggunakan pembelajaran, (2) Ada pengaruh pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar geografi.Kata kunci : lingkungan, hasil belajar, pembelajaran konvensional

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the correlation between learning strategy and learning achievement of geography subject to XI social class students at SMA Perintis I Bandar Lampung at the year of 2011/2012. The method used in the research was correlation method. The population in this research were XI social class students who were divided into 5 classes which were 174 students. The samples taken for the research were about 35% of the total population which were 60 students using proportional random sampling technique. The data collecting technique used were questionnaire, test, and documentation, while the data analysis used was product moment correlation and to test the hypothesis, the researcher used SPSS program. This result of the research showed that ( 1 ) There was a strong and significant positive correlation between learning strategy and learning achievement of geography subject to XI social class students at SMA Perintis 1 Bandar Lampung with the correlation coefficient was 0.849. ( 2 ) There was a strong and significant correlation of reading the lesson at home and the correlation coefficient was 0.612. ( 3 ) There was a strong and significant correlation of making notes with the correlation coefficient was 0.675. ( 4 ) There was a strong and significant correlation of reviewing the lesson at home with correlation coefficient was 0.588. ( 5 ) There was a strong and significant correlation of doing the exercise at home with the correlation coefficient was 0.521. Keywords: learning strategy (making schedule, reading the lesson at home, making notes, reviewing the lesson at home, and doing the exercise at home) and learning achievement

Abstract

This research was aimed at finding out (1) the difference between the students achievement that used cooperative learning model of picture and picture type and the students achievement at twelfth grade of social 2 that used conventional learning model, (2) the effect of activities in using cooperative learning model of picture and picture type on the students learning achievement. Quasi experiment was used in this study. The populations were the students at twelfth grade of Social 1 and 2. To analyze the data, T-Test and linear regression analysis were used. Abstract

This study aims to find out about the relationship between the completeness of learning resources and learning motivation with the results of geography learning of the first grade students The research method used is correlational. The data collecting technique used in this research is documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis used is product moment correlation. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that: (1) there is a positive and significant correlation between the completeness of learning resources owned by students at home with the students' learning outcomes on the subjects of geography of the first grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Tumijajar, the correlation coefficient obtained is rxy = 0,736. rtabel = 0,235. . (2) There is a high positive correlation between students' learning motivation and students' learning outcomes in geography subjects of the first grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Tumijajar, with rxy = 0,606. rtabel = 0,235.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kelengkapan sumber belajar dan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar geografi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian korelasional. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan tehnik dokumentasi dan angket. Analisis datanya menggunakan korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kelengkapan sumber belajar yang dimiliki siswa dirumah dengan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Tumijajar, diperoleh koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,736. rtabel = 0,235. (2) Terdapat hubungan positif yang cukup tinggi antara motivasi belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Tumijajar, diperoleh rxy = 0,606. rtabel = 0,235.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, kelengkapan sumber belajar, motivasi siswa

Abstract

This research analyzed  audio-visual media with LKS, to increase activity, achievement of learning geography class X3 SMAN 2 Liwa. PTK is performed in 3 cycles. There are 4 stages of cycle, namely: planning, implementation, observation analysis, reflection. Location of research in SMAN 2 Liwa, Subject of research of 39 students. Retrieved form observation of activity off task, on task and by comparison of  fre test, post-test and values in each cycle worksheets. Results the first cycle, activity of 62.5% studying geography, geography of learning achievement value post test 55%, reaching 61.53% Value LKS. In second cycle, learning activities increased to 70%, geography learning achievement increased to 74%, value worksheets are completed 74.35%. third cycle, learning activity increased to 85.6%, learning achievement increased 85%, value of completed worksheets 84.61%. Conclusion, through use of audio-visual media with LKS may increase activity and achievement of learning geography.Penelitian ini menganalisis media audio visual dengan LKS, untuk meningkatkan aktivitas, prestasi belajar geografi kelas X3 SMAN 2 Liwa. PTK yang dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Siklus tersebut ada 4 tahap, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi analisis, refleksi. Lokasi penelitian di SMAN 2 Liwa, subjek penelitian 39 siswa. Data yang diambil berupa hasil observasi kegiatan off task, on task serta berdasarkan perbandingan nilai fre test, post test dan nilai LKS ditiap siklus. Hasil siklus I, aktivitas belajar 62,5%, prestasi belajar dari nalai post test 55%,Nilai LKS mencapai 61,53%. siklus II, aktivitas belajarnya meningkat menjadi 70%, prestasi belajar geografi meningkat menjadi 74%, Nilai LKS yang tuntas 74,35%. siklus III, aktivitas belajarnya meningkat menjadi 85,6%, prestasi belajarnya meningkat 85%, nilai LKS yang tuntas 84,61%. Kesimpulan, melalui penggunaan media audio visual dengan LKS dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar geografi.Kata kunci: aktivitas dan prestasi, LKS,  media audio visual.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the difference of learning achievement students who are taught by using Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) method and they who are taught by using Communicative Learning in integrated social science at the second grade of junior high school Negeri 2 Ambarawa Pringsewu. This research used quasi experimental method. The researcher has determined the sample by using purposive sampling. The sample which determined consists of two classes they are student class VIII.1 as the experimental class and student class VIII.2 as the control class. Quantitative data was gained directly from the subject of the research by giving the pre-test and post-test in learning of Geographic condition and inhabitant material. In analyzing the data used hypothesis testing used normality testing, homogeneity testing, similarity testing of two averages and difference testing of two averages. Based on the results of this study concluded that there are significant differences between the activity and the learning achievement of students who use the lecture method of teaching with students using the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) after being treated. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the average classroom student achievement experiments (VIII.1 at 76.06 while the control class (VIII.2) of 71.93. Feat t test of the two parties do, obtained at 1.711 greater thitung from 1.67 ttable so Ho is rejected, so that there is a difference between the learning outcomes of students taught by cooperative learning techniques Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning lectures. Keywords: cooperative learning, Two Stay Two Stray

Abstract

This research was purposed to see the differences in student learning using cooperative learning model Make A Match and Point Counter Point. This research type is experiment. The research population were the students of Class XI IPS SMAN 1 Talangpadang. Sampling was done by random sampling so that it was found class of XI IPS 4 and XI IPS 1. Data analysis using t test. There is no difference in average learning outcomes early ability of students grade XI IPS SMAN 1 Talangpadang.There is a significant average difference in the learning result using cooperative learning model Make A Match and Point Counter Point type towards students grade XI SMAN 1 Talangpadang. The average learning result using cooperative learning model Make A Match type was higher than the average learning result using cooperative learning model Point Counter Point type.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Point Make A Match dan Point Counter. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN 1 Talangpadang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan random sampling sehingga didapati kelas X1 IPS 4 dan Kelas XI IPS 1. Analisis data digunakan dengan menggunakan uji t.Tidak terdapat perbedaan rata- rata hasil belajar kemampuan awal peserta didik kelas XI IPS SMAN 1 Talangpadang. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan rata- rata hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran koopratif tipe tipe Make A Match dan Point Counter Point terhadap peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 1 Talangpadang. Rata- rata hasil belajar menggunkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match lebih tinggi dibandingkan rerata hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Point Counter Point.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, make a match, point counter point

Abstract

There are many media that can be used to: support teaching learning process. In this task the writer would use module in its research. Research methodology used that is research and development. The collection of data using test expert who consisting of the people of the design, and the people of the material. While target the fit and proper test uses the methodinterview, documentation, and observation. The analysis of data using a formula Aikens V. The pilot module showes that 94 % very interesting, 68 % easy, 97 % very useful. This data is based on the result pilot effectiveness 85% of completed student and its value of completeness at least 70 and its average rate is 72,11. From the data have shown above that this module deserved to use for student in teaching learning process. Because this module is not only gives attractive, easy, eseful but it also develops the students character.Tujuan pengembangan modul untuk menjadikan modul sebagai sarana dalam memperbaiki karakter peserta didik melalui penggunaan modul pada proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni penelitian dan pengembangan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan uji ahli yang terdiri dari ahli desain, dan ahli materi. Sedangkan uji kelayakan sasaran menggunakan metode wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan formula Aikens V. Hasil penggunaan modul diperoleh skor kemenarikan 94 % (sangat manarik), skor kemudahan 68% (sangat mudah), skor kemanfaatan 97% (sangat bermanfaat). Produk efektif digunakan berdasarkan hasil uji efektivitas 85% siswa tuntas. Dari nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal 70 dengan nilai rata-rata 72,11. Penggunaan modul ini mempermudah pemahaman konsep dan berfungsi memperbaiki karakter peserta didik. Sehingga modul ini layak digunakan dengan kualitas menarik, mudah digunakan, bermanfaat, dan efektif sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: berbasis pendidikan karakter, modul geografi, pengembangan

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the use of the internet towards geography learning result of the students at SMAN 1 Negeri Besar. Ex post facto design  was used of in research. The population of this research was students at SMAN 1 Negeri Besar and the sample of this research was 79 students. Random sampling was used as technique in this research. Questionnare and observation sheet were used as instruments. This research used correlation product moment to analyze data. The result showed that there were three point of this research. First, there was a correlation between students’result in learning geography towards the use of the interenet (0,236). Second, there was not enough evidence to indicate a positive correlation and there was no significant improvement of students’ result in learning geography by using the ease of internet information (0,071). Third, there was not enough evidence to confirm a positive and significant relationship between internet access and result of students’ geography learning (0,064).Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan pemanfaatan internet terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa SMA Negeri 1 Negeri Besar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ex post facto dengan populasi seluruh siswa dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 79 siswa menggunakan teknik Proforsional Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan kuisioner dan observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan rumus Korelasi Product Moment. Hasil menunjukkan: 1) Terdapat hubungan intensitas penggunaan internet terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa ditunjukkan dari nilai (0,236). 2) Tidak terdapat bukti cukup untuk menyatakan ada hubungan positif dan signifikan kemudahan informasi internet terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa ditunjukkan dari nilai (0,071). 3) Tidak terdapat bukti cukup untuk menyatakan ada hubungan positif dan signifikan kerelevansian akses internet terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa ditunjukkan dari nilai (0,064).Kata kunci :geografi, hasil belajar, pemanfaatan internet
