Abstract

This research aims to generate critical thinking skills based on assessment on matery of dynamic electricity in essay test form . The method is Research and Development, which consists of six stages of development, they are the analysis of developed products, the early of product development, the expert validation, the revision, the limited test, the product revision, and the product refinement. The source of data is physics teacher and the students of 8th grade of SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung.The assessment instrument which is developed is the assessment based on critical thinking on matery of dynamic electricity and was tested on limited scale. The result of the limited test is the assessment based on critical thinking skill this has very high attractiveness level and legibility. Based on the results of the expert validation and the teacher scoring, critical thinking skill based on assessment of the dynamic electricity material is worthily used.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan asesmen berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi listrik dinamis berupa soal tes essay. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan yang terdiri dari enam tahap pengembangan yaitu: analisis kebutuhan produk, pengembangan produk awal, validasi ahli, revisi, uji coba terbatas, revisi produk dan penyempurnaan produk. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran fisika kelas X dan siswa-siswi kelas X8 SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung. Instrumen penilaian yang dikembangkan adalah asesmen berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi listrik dinamis dan diujicobakan pada skala terbatas. Hasil uji coba terbatas asesmen berbasis KBK pada materi listrik dinamis ini memiliki tingkat kemenarikan dan tingkat keterbacaan yang tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan penilaian guru maka asesmen berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi listrik dinamis layak digunakan.Kata kunci: asesmen, berpikir kritis, listrik dinamis, soal tes

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to make an alternative assessment instrument to assess the studentss spiritual and social attitudes in science learning for Junior High School. The instrument must had the logical validity, empirical validity, and reliability. Elaboration method consisted of eight elaborational stages: problem identification, data aggregation, product design, validation of the design, revision of the design, product testing, product revision, and product printing. The product was validated logically by three evaluation experts. The field test result indicated that the instrument had empirical validity. Reliability test used Alpha Cronbach method indicated that the product had satisfying reliability. The end product was judged proper to be used directly by teacher and be developed by grille matrix.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan instrumen alternatif untuk menilai kompetensi sikap spiritual dan sosial dalam pembelajaran sains untuk siswa SMP yang valid secara logis, valid secara empiris, dan reliabel. Prosedur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi delapan tahap: identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, dan pencetakan produk. Produk telah tervalidasi secara logis oleh tiga ahli evaluasi. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penilaian sikap valid secara empiris. Uji reliabilitas dengan metode Alpha Cronbach menunjukkan bahwa reliabilitas produk terkategori memuaskan. Produk akhir dinilai layak digunakan secara langsung oleh guru serta dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan acuan kisi-kisi.Kata Kunci: instrumen penilaian, sikap sosial, sikap spiritual.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to produce science learning video in divinity and loving environment value contents for SMP/MTs students, to see the effectiveness of the product and to know the student’s responses about the product. The method of this research used research and development (RD) method. The trial of the product consisted of one on one test and field test. This research produced the learning video “Perubahan di Sekitar Kita” in divinity and loving environment value contents which is containing physics changes, chemical changes, pollution, and global warming. The results of this research indicated that video were very interesting, very easy to use, and very useful. This learning video was declared effective to use as a multimedia learning based on N-gain average of 0,57 (medium category) and 80 % of students completed KKM result study from the test with average 78,67.Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah: (1) menghasilkan video pembelajaran sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan bagi siswa SMP/MTs, (2) melihat efektivitas produk, dan (3) mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap produk. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian pengembangan atau research and development. Uji coba terdiri dari uji coba satu lawan satu dan uji lapangan. Dalam pengembangan ini, dihasilkan video pembelajaran “Perubahan di Sekitar Kita” bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, yang mencakup materi perubahan fisika, perubahan kimia, pencemaran, dan pemanasan global. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran sangat menarik, sangat mudah digunakan, dan sangat bermanfaat. Video pembelajaran dinyatakan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan N-Gain rata-rata sebesar 0,57 (kategori sedang) dan 80% siswa uji tuntas KKM dengan hasil belajar rata-rata 78,67.Kata kunci: nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, pembelajaran sains, pengembangan, video.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop metacognition assessment instrument skill that contain competencies, materials, job descriptions, guide use, the rubric (scoring guide) and metacognition scoring sheet skills. The method of development that is used in this reseach adapts the model of development metacognition assessment instrument that includes six steps of product development procedure and product experiment. The validation showed the metacognition assessment instruments skills that developed has been in line with theory and fit to be used as an assessment instrument. The results of the test on the field showed metacognition assessment instruments skills effective. The quality of metacognition assessment instrument skills: attractive, easy to use, and useful.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan instrumen penilaian keterampilan metakognisi yang bermuatan kompetensi, materi, uraian tugas, panduan penggunaan, rubrik (panduan penskoran) dan lembar penilaian keterampilan metakognisi. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan instrument penilaian keterampilan metakognisi yang meliputi enam tahapan prosedur pengembangan produk dan uji produk. Hasil uji ahli menunjukkan instrumen penilaian keterampilan metakognisi yang dikembangkan telah sesuai dengan teori dan layak digunakan sebagai instrumen penilaian. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukan instrumen penilaian keterampilan metakognisi efektif. Abstract

Abstract: Comparison of student learning outcomes between learning using Problem based learning (PBL) and discovery learning on the optical material. This study aimed to determine the difference and increase student learning outcomes on the implementation of PBL and discovery learning on the optical material. The design of this study used in one group pretest-posttest design. In the experimental class the average score of student learning outcomes was 53.90 and the increasing of the average score of student learning outcomes was 28.30 with N-gain 0.37 (medium category). In the control class the average score of student learning outcomes was 38.10 and the increasing of the average score of student learning outcomes was 9.60 with N-gain 0.13 (lower category). The result showed that there were differences in student learning outcome between experimental class that has been applied PBL and control class that has been applied discovery learning. It canbe conclude that the implementation of PBL more effectively to improve student learning outcomes.Abstrak: Perbandingan hasil belajar siswa antara pembelajaran menggunakan problem based learning (PBL) dan discovery learning pada materi optik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada penerapan PBL dan discovery learning pada materi optik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pada kelas eksperimen skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 53.90 dan kenaikan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 28,30 dengan N-gain sebesar 0,37 (kategori sedang). Pada kelas kontrol skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 38.10 dan kenaikan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 9,60 dengan N-gain sebesar 0,13 (kategori rendah). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan PBL dan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan discovery learning. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: discovery learning, hasil belajar, problem based learning

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop the multimedia learning in science that consist of devinity and love of the environment that validated and to know the attractiveness, easiness, and usefulness, along with effectiveness of the product. The development of multimedia was began with informed analysis and formulated the purpose, collected basic materials, made the synopsis and initial manuscripts to produce prototype I. The prototype I was evaluated by the material and media experts, limited test and revised to the end of the manuscript. Then a product tested in the field before produced the final products. This research applied one group pretest. The result of internal test by expert is stated that the product is suitable as a learning media. The result of external test by user stated that using multimedia has excellent of attractiveness quality, excellent of ease quality, and excellent of expediency quality and multimedia effectiveness in learning with student’s percentages result of learning more than 80% of KKM from knowledge, affective, and skilled.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan yang divalidasi, mengetahui kemenarikan, kemudahan dan kemanfaatan serta keefektifan produk. Pengembangan produk diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan dan merumuskan tujuan, mengumpulkan pokok materi, membuat sinopsis dan naskah awal untuk memproduksi prototipe I. Prototipe I dievaluasi oleh ahli, uji terbatas dan direvisi menjadi naskah akhir. Sebelum dihasilkan produk final produk diuji di lapangan. Hasil uji internal dinyatakan bahwa produk layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil uji lapangan oleh pengguna, dinyatakan bahwa multimedia yang digunakan memiliki kualitas kemenarikan, kemudahan dan kemanfaatan sangat baik, serta produk efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan presentase hasil belajar siswa lebih dari 80% tuntas KKM dari aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan.Kata kunci: multimedia, nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, pembelajaran sains

Abstract

The purpose of this researched was to development the students’s work sheet of science learning with divinity and environmentally loving value contents. The development was conducted by adopting Borg and Gall development model in Sugiyono; including potential and problem, data collection, product design, design validity, design refinement, product testing, product revision, and application testing. The field testing was applied to students in classroom VIIA in Darul Ulum Islamic Junior High School in academic year 2013/2014. The results showed that the student’s work sheet was effective 60% in cognitive assessment with good criteria, 90% in affective assessment with good criteria, 80% and 63% respectively in psychometric assessment practicum 1 and 2, 3.38 and 2.81 respectively for teachers’ and students’ responses with good criteria.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan. Pengembangan dilakukan mengadopsi model pengembangan Borg and Gall dalam Sugiyono, yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, perbaikan desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, dan uji coba pemakaian. Uji lapangan pada siswa kelas VIIA MTs Darul Ulum tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan LKS efektif dengan penilaian kognitif 60% berktiteria baik, penilaian afektif 90% berkriteria baik, penilaian psikomotorik pada praktikum ke-1 dan ke-2 masing-masing 80% dan 63% berkriteria baik, tanggapan guru dan siswa masing-masing dengan 3,38 berkriteria sangat baik dan 2,81 berkriteria baik.Kata kunci: lembar kerja siswa, nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, penelitian pengembangan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of project based learning (PjBL) student worksheet to the learning outcomes of Junior High School students in the topic of physics and temperature changes on the VII grade. The method research was Quassi Experiment. The design of this research was pretest posttest control group design, with VII A as the experiment class and VII B as the control class. The results showed a significant influence of the use of PjBL student worksheet on the results of student learning outcomes. The average learning outcomes in affective domain of 87.50, the average final value in cognitive and psychomotor domain learning outcome was 83.64, and the learning outcomes increase 56.53 with N-gain 0.71 (high category).Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan LKS project based learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMP kelas VII pada pembelajaran fisika materi suhu dan perubahannya. Metode penelitian ini adalah Eksperimen Semu. Desain penelitian digunakan pretest posttest control group design, dengan sampel kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan LKS model PjBL terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata hasil belajar ranah afektif sebesar 87,50, rata-rata nilai akhir kognitif dan psikomotor 83,64, dan peningkatan hasil belajar 56,53 dengan N-gain 0,71 (kategori tinggi).Kata kunci: lembar kerja siswa, project based learning, hasil belajar.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) Is there any influence between the intelligence of students' physics student learning outcomes through the implementation of the concept mapping strategy? (2) Is there any influence of motivation to learn physics student learning outcomes through the implementation of the concept mapping strategy? The research was carried out directly in class X 6 semester at SMA N 5 Metro, totaling 230 students. Effect between intelligence and motivation towards physics student learning outcomes can be measured by conducting tests in the form of test blocks and test practice. Learning outcomes data that have been obtained are then tested using a normality test, homogeneity, and anova test two paths. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that: (1) There is influence between the intelligence of students with physics student learning outcomes through the implementation of the concept mapping strategy. (2) There is the influence of the motivation to learn the physics student learning outcomes through the implementation of the concept mapping strategy.Keywords: intelligence, motivation, learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to compare the learning outcomes of students who were using guided inquiry module and problem based module. This research method used Quasi Experiment with The Non-Equivalent Control Group Design research. The sample has been determined by Purposive Sampling techniques. The results showed that there were differences in student learning outcomes between guided inquiry module and problem based module in cognitive and psychomotor. The learning outcomes wich used guided inquiry module was higher than problem based module learning outcomes. Meanwhile, there was no difference of student learning outcomes in affective domain.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar fisika antara siswa yang menggunakan modul berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dan siswa yang menggunakan modul berbasis masalah. Metode penelitian ini adalah Eksperimen Semu, dengan desain penelitian The Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang menggunakan modul berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan modul berbasis masalah pada ranah kognitif dan psikomotor. Hasil belajar menggunakan modul berbasis inkuiri terbimbing lebih tinggi daripada menggunakan modul berbasis masalah. Sementara itu, hasil belajar siswa pada ranah afektif tidak terdapat perbedaan.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, modul berbasis inkuiri terbimbing, modul berbasis masalah.
