Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui apakah penggunaan Media Batang Napier berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep Matematika siswa materi perkalian siswa kelas III. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental, desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas III B yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Teknik tes soal essay dengan memuat indikator pemahaman konsep Matematika. Teknik analisis data menggunakan N-Gain dan Presentase angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian adalah: 1) Terdapat peningkatan pemamaham konsep Matematika siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media Batang Napier pada materi perkalian bilangan cacah dengan hasil N-Gain dengan rata-rata 0,49 dengan presentase 49% dengan kriteria sedang, 2) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan pemahaman konsep Matematika materi perkalian antara kelas eskperimen dan kelas kontrol yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dengan hasil yaitu thitung ttabel atau 2,3336 2,0141,maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak,3) respon siswa terhadap media Batang Napier memiliki kategori baik dengan hasil presentasenya 71%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa respon siswa positif terhadap media Batang Napier yang diterapkan pada materi perkalian. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian dengan menerapkan media Batang Napier dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep Matematika siswa pada kelas III di SD Negeri 84 Singkawang.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) describe the vocabulary mastery of class IV students at SDS IT Nurul Islam Singkawang; 2) describe the skills in writing reports from interviews of class IV students at SDS IT Nurul Islam Singkawang; 3) find out how big the relationship is between vocabulary mastery and the skill of writing reports from interviewers of class IV students at SDS IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. The research used is correlational research with quantitative methods. The population in this study were fourth grade students at SDS IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. The research sample was taken purposively (purposefully) and was selected using 2 steps. (1) based on the result of interviews with teachers (2) based on suggestions from teachers. The prerequisite test carried out is a normality test using the Chi-square formula and a linearity test is carried out see whether the data is linear or not. Data were analyzed univariately with a significance level of 5% (0,05) for testing the first hypothesis using the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results og the research show that: 1) From the results of calculating the overall average score for students’ vocabulary mastery of 71%, it can be concluded that the vocabulary mastery of class IV students at SDS IT Nurul Islam Singkawang is quite good. 2) From the results of calculating the skill scores for writing reports from student interviews, the average score obtained was 75%. It can be concluded that the skills for writing reports from interviews for class IV students at SDS IT Nurul Islam Singkawang are quite good. 3) There is a significant relationship between vocabulary mastery and student interview report writing skills with a correlation value of 0,504 and a coefficient of determination of 25,40%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak model VCT pada peningkatan nilai toleransi dan nilai cinta damai dalam pembelajaran Pkn di kelas V SDN 71 Singkawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen, dilaksanakan di SDN 71 Singkawang dengan sampel siswa kelas VA dan VB. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penggunaan angket nilai toleransi dan cinta damai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model VCT secara signifikan meningkatkan nilai toleransi dengan Thitung sebesar 2.165 lebih besar dari Ttabel dengan nilai 2.045 dan cinta damai dengan Thitung sebesar 5.734, lebih besar dari Ttabel dengan nilai 2.045 pada siswa kelas lima. Selain itu, analisis effect size menunjukkan peningkatan yang sedang pada nilai toleransi (0.73) dan peningkatan yang tinggi pada nilai cinta damai (1.94) setelah penerapan model VCT.

Abstract

Maraknya tindak-tindak amoral seperti korupsi, tawuran, seks bebas, narkoba dan lain sebagainya menjadi sebuah indikasi bahwa negara ini tengah dilanda krisis moral. Krisis moral ini tidak memandang latar belakang tertentu baik tua muda, kaya miskin, semuanya berpotensi melakukan tindakan amoral. Kondisi ini jika dibiarkan berlarut-larut tentu akan mengancam kedaulatan suatu negara. Oleh sebab itu, perlu terobosan baru misalnya dengan mengembangkan pendidikan karakter model homestay sebagai upaya menumbuhkan kepekaan sosial ditengah tantangan global. Sasaran dari program ini adalah semua peserta didik dari tingkat dasar sampai perguruan tinggi. Tujuannya adalah menanamkan nilai-nilai sosial masyarakat agar timbul kepekaan sosial pada diri peserta didik. Tinggal dilingkungan masyarakat tentu akan dihadapkan pada berbagai persoalan yang kompleks. Persoalan itu tentu membutuhkan 4 olah baik pikir, hati, raga, dan rasa. Keempat olah tersebut saling bersinergi untuk membentuk pribadi yang punya jiwa sosial tinggi. Jiwa sosial ini yang nantinya diharapkan menjadi wadah bagi peserta didik untuk menumbuhkan kepekaan sosial. Hal ini perlu digalakkan supaya peserta didik tanggap terhadap tantangan global.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To determine the difference in social skills between students who are given traditional clog games and classes that are not given traditional clog games; 2) To find out how much influence the traditional game of Bakiak has on improving the social skills of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 54 Singkawang; 3) To find out how students respond to traditional clog games in class V at SD Negeri 54 Singkawang. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 54 Singkawang. This type of research is quantitative research method True experiment design, in the form of Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 54 Singkawang in the 2024 school year totaling 55 students, namely 27 VA class students and 28 VB class students. Samples were taken using non-probability sampling techniques. Data collection techniques using non-test techniques in the form of a social skills questionnaire containing 20 statements and a student response questionnaire to the traditional clog game containing 20 statements. Data analysis techniques use Normality test, Homogeneity test, hypothesis testing, Effect Size, and calculating responses. The results of the analysis found that the data was normally distributed. The results showed 1) there were differences in social skills between students who were given traditional clog games and classes that were not given traditional clog games. After being calculated with a two-sample t test, the tcount> ttable is 4.8875> 2.0057, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. 2) The traditional clog game has a big effect with a high category on the social skills of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 54 Singkawang in the experimental class who received treatment with the effect size test results of 1.365147. 3) The average student response to the traditional clog game was obtained at 87% with a very high category range, So it can be concluded that there is an effect of traditional clog games on the social skills of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 54 Singkawang.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' initial reading abilities using the Whole Language Reading Aloud model for class II students at SDN 94 Singkawang and to describe the implementation of the use of the Whole Language Reading Aloud model in Indonesian language learning in class II at SDN 94 Singkawang. The type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The subjects and objects in this research were the Indonesian language teacher as the subject, and all class II students at SDN 94 Singkawang, totaling 30 students, as the object. Data collection techniques are test, observation, interview and documentation techniques with data collection tools in the form of initial reading ability test sheets, observation sheets and interview sheets. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are: 1) the initial reading ability of class II students at SDN 94 Singkawang using the reading aloud method is in the good category, reaching a percentage of 80%. 2) the implementation of the use of the whole language reading aloud type model in Indonesian language learning in Class IIA SDN 94 Singkawang which is carried out with learning steps and is effective in improving Indonesian language learning activities, especially towards beginning reading abilities. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the use of the reading aloud method on students' initial reading abilities in Class IIA SDN 94 Singkawang was effective in improving Indonesian language learning activities, especially on initial reading abilities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there are differences and influences in using the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model assisted by TTS (Crossword Puzzle) media on the science and science learning of class V students at SDN 5 Singkawang as well as students' responses to the TGT learning model. The research used is quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SDN 5 Singkawang. This research sample uses samples based on class or also called Cluster Sampling. The data collection technique used in this research is a test technique in the form of learning outcomes in the cognitive domain and non-tests in the form of student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis in the form of t-test, effect size and descriptive percentage. The results of the research show that: 1) There are differences in the cognitive learning outcomes of students who use the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model with direct learning in science and science learning for class V students. This is shown based on the results of the polled t-test test calculation variant > is 9.125 > 2.017. 2) The TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model assisted by TTS (Crossword Puzzle) media in learning has a high influence on the cognitive learning outcomes of science and science subjects for class V students at SDN 5 Singkawang. This can be seen from the calculation of the effect size, namely 2.4944 and the criteria are high because 2.4944 is at ES > 0.8. 3) Positive student response to the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model assisted by TTS (Crossword Puzzle) media in class V elementary school. This is shown from the calculations that the percentage of student responses of 84% is included in the high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Untuk mengetahui seperti apa peran kegiatan Pramuka bagi penanaman nilai-nilai kemandirian peserta didik kelas V SDIT Nurul Islam Singkawang, 2) Untuk menganalisis apa saja hambatan dalam penanaman nilai-nilai kemandirian peserta didik kelas V SDIT Nurul Islam Singkawang, 3) Untuk mengetahui upaya meminimalisir hambatan yang terjadi dalam penanaman nilai-nilai kemandirian peserta didik kelas V SDIT Nurul Islam Singkawang. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SDIT Nurul Islam Singkawang dengan Teknik pengambilan subjek purposive sampling. Teknik dan instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Peran kegiatan pramuka bagi penanaman nilai-nilai kemandirian peserta didik kelas V di SDIT Nurul Islam Singkawang berjalan dengan baik dimana persentase kemandirian peserta didik 60% dengan kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH), 2) Hambatan dalam penanaman nilai-nilai kemandirian peserta didik kelas V di SDIT Nurul Islam Singkawang yaitu waktu yang terbatas dalam penanaman kemandirian, lingkungan sosial di sekolah dan di rumah, pola asuh orang tua, dan lingkungan teman sebaya yang tidak mendorong kemandirian, 3) Upaya meminimalisir hambatan yang terjadi dalam penanaman nilai-nilai kemandirian peserta didik kelas V di SDIT Nurul Islam Singkawang dilakukan dengan beberapa cara yaitu, Pertama adalah pendekatan personal. Kedua, menciptakan lingkungan yang positif. Ketiga, melakukan evaluasi. Keempat, melibatkan orang tua dalam proses pendidikan kemandirian.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1). Determine whether there is an influence on the learning results of students between classes that apply reward and classes that do not apply reward (2). Determine the extent to which reward influences the learning results of Bahasa Indonesia class 4 at MIS AL-Fatah Singkawang. (3). Determine the extent to which the learning results of students increase after the implementation of reward on the learning results of Bahasa Indonesia class 4 at MIS AL-Fatah Singkawang.The experimental research design used in this study is Nonequivalent control Group Design. The population in this study is class 4A and class 4B at MIS Al-Fatah Singkawang.Based on the research results and discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that: (1). There is an influence on the learning results of students between classes that apply reward and classes that do not apply reward. This is proven by the data analysis that was conducted using statistical parametric tests, namely the, which shows that the results of the post-test are significant. (2). Reward has a moderate effect on the learning results of Bahasa Indonesia class 4 at MIS AL-Fatah Singkawang. This is proven by the data calculation of students using the Effect Size formula, which obtained a value of Effect Size (Es) of 0.7, located in the moderate criteria. (3) The implementation of reward experiences a moderate increase in the learning results of cognitive domain students in the origin material class 4 at MIS AL-Fatah Singkawang.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy ability is one of the important abilities for students to have. One of the factors that influence numeracy literacy ability is students' learning initiative and learning independence. This study aims to: 1) describe numeracy literacy ability based on AKM questions based on the level of learning independence of grade V students of SD Negeri 17 Rantau; 2) describe the factors that influence numeracy literacy ability based on AKM questions based on the learning independence of grade V students of SD Negeri 17 Rantau. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 18 grade V students of SD Negeri 17 Rantau. The object of this study is numeracy literacy ability based on AKM questions based on the level of learning independence. Data collection techniques in this study used numeracy literacy ability tests, learning independence questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study obtained were 1) numeracy literacy skills based on AKM questions based on the level of learning independence, namely, (a) students with a high learning independence category are quite capable of meeting the three indicators of numeracy literacy skills well, and have an average score of 69.25 with moderate criteria; (b) students with a moderate learning independence category are quite capable of meeting the three indicators of numeracy literacy skills well, and have an average score of 58.87 with moderate criteria; (c) students with a low learning independence category are only able to meet the first indicator, namely solving problems in the context of everyday life, but have not been able to analyze information, and have not been able to interpret the results of the analysis to make decisions well, and have an average score of 47.83 with low criteria. 2) factors that influence numeracy literacy skills based on AKM questions based on student learning independence are from the students themselves, including the level of learning motivation, interest, student intellectuality, independence, and concentration.
