Abstract

This research aims: (1) to determine and describe the influence of the principal’s leadership style on the performance of teachers; (2) to find out and describe the influence of leadership and motivation of school principals on the performance of teachers; and (3) to find out and describe the influence of the head’s leadership style and motivation on the performance of SMP Negeri teachers in Lempuing Jaya Sub-District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1, 2, 3, 4 Kematan with a total research sample of 100 teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation studies, and distribution questionnaires. The validity test uses construct validity, while the reliability test uses Cronbach’s Alpha, Linearity Test and Normality Test. The results of this research show that there is a partially significant influence between leadership style and motivation on the performance of SMP Negeri teachers in Lempuing Jaya Sub-District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. There is a significant simultaneous influence between leadership style and motivation on the performance of Lempuing Jaya SMP Negeri teachers. This study contributes to give attention towards leadership style and motivation when the school will get good teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study aimed at determining whether there is 1) an influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of the teachers; 2) an influence of work motivation on the performance of teachers; 3) an influence of the principal's leadership and work motivation together on the performance of the teachers. This study used a quantitative method. The research sample consisted of 103 junior high school teachers in Sungai Lilin. The data were collected using questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used 1) descriptive quantitative analysis techniques; and 2) multiple regression. The results of the study state that 1) there was a significant influence between the leadership of the principal on the performance of the teachers; 2) there was a significant influence between work motivation on the performance of teachers; 3) there was a significant influence jointly between the leadership of the principal and work motivation on the performance of the teachers.

Abstract

This study determined whether there is an effect of principal leadership and teacher competence on teacher’s performance at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Lilin, either partially or simultaneously. The population of this research is 40 teachers. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire, with data analysis using multiple linear regression of SPSS 25. The results obtained in this study 1) there is no influence of principal leadership on teacher’s performance; 2) there is an effect of teacher’s competence on teacher’s performance; and 3) simultaneously there is an effect of principal leadership and teacher’s competence on teacher’s performance. This paper contributes to improve teacher’s performance through principal leadership and teacher’s competence.

Abstract

This study determined the implementation of learning management used by teachers in improving student achievement. The data collection methods are observation, interview and documentation, then checking the validity of the data by comparing the information provided by the informant and the observation data with the results of the interview, then the data is analyzed qualitatively. From the results of the study, it was found that: 1) the implementation of learning management by teachers in improving student achievement was carried out by identifying, objectives, benefits, planning steps, planning stages, including indicators or quality targets to be achieved as a process of increasing learning achievement students in order to realize the quality of education; 2) the inhibiting factor for the implementation of learning management at SDN in Babat Toman Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency, namely the lack of awareness of teachers to compile lesson plans, many students are passive in implementing learning even though they have been given a stimulus by the teacher and the lack of variation in assessments carried out by the teacher and too many students so the time allocation for conducting the assessment is insufficient or difficult; 3) a solution to overcoming obstacles, namely by conducting trainings on how to compile a good syllabus and lesson plans applying learning strategies that are evaluated by varying assessment techniques.

Abstract

This study determined the effect of the principal's leadership style and teacher’s job satisfaction on teacher performance in public elementary schools in Sekayu District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The research method is ex post facto with a population of 491 teachers The research sample draw using proportional random sampling in order to obtain a sample of 78 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the t-test and the F-test. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the leadership style of the principal and teacher’s job satisfaction on the performance of elementary school teachers in Sekayu District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This study provides the new insight for principals to more deeply give attention the leadership style and teacher’s job satisfaction in order to have good teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study aimed at examining the influence of principal’s leadership and educational quality on teacher’s performance, both partially and concurrently. This study was carried out at all of Prabumulih City's private junior high schools. The study was conducted during August and October of 2021, with 46 teachers as respondent. The questionnaire was used to collect data. Both principal’s leadership and educational quality have an impact on the success of Prabumulih's private junior high school instructors. The novelty in this study, where we could have good performance of teacher, it needs good leadership. This study contributes to more have attention the principal’s leadership and educational quality where we will have good reputation of teacher’s performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate and assess the impact of the principal's leadership and infrastructure on teacher’s performance in the SD Muara Jaya District. The regression approach was used in this study. The factors investigated in this study were principal’s leadership (X1), infrastructure (X2), and teacher’s performance. The study was then conducted in SD Negeri Muara Jaya District, OKU Regency, with 66 teachers as sample. The findings of this study reveal that leadership and school infrastructure have an impact on teacher’s performance at SD Negeri in Muara Jaya OKU, both partially and concurrently. The research concludes that the principal must focus on his leadership and infrastructure in order to improve teacher’s effectiveness at SD Negeri Muara Jaya OKU District. This study encourages school administrators and teachers to focus on their leadership and school infrastructure so that schools can shine even brighter.

Abstract

This study investigates how the standard policy of educational supervision is implemented in MAN 1 Musi Banyuasin. This research will be carried out for 5 (five) months, including the design, implementation, and reporting of research findings. This study’s design employs descriptive qualitative methods, which include prioritizing data research or the reality of the problem based on the disclosure of what has been explored and disclosed by respondents in the form of interview results and data collected in the form of words. The study’s findings revealed that the implementation of the Standard Supervision Policy at MAN 1 Musi Banyuasin on the Communication indicator as a whole went very well. Running but not optimal on the resource indicator. The Disposition indicator remains rigid and ineffective. The bureaucratic structure indicator was not implemented properly, so it did not work.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of school committee empowerment management in a public elementary school unit in Plakat Tinggi District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The qualitative descriptive technique is used in the research process, which includes observation, interviews, and documentation. The Chairperson/Management of the School Committee, Principal, Teachers, Parents/Guardians of Pupils, and Students from Plakat Tinggi District, Musi Banyuasin Regency served as research subjects. The findings (1) school committees have a planned program based on the school’s requirements, requests, and ideas; (2) In comparison to the program for establishing the Organizational Structure and Work Program, the program for producing the Statutes and Bylaws is pretty good. (3) The Empowerment Management of the School Committee as Fundraising and Educational Resources from the Community and in Following Up Aspirations, Ideas, Complaints, Suggestions, and Criticism from the Community and Student Guardians is quite good in relation to the School Committee fundraising and carrying out its functions and duties following up on complaints, suggestions, criticisms, and aspirations from students, parents/guardians, and the community.

Abstract

In this study, the principal’s role in raising the professionalism of SD Negeri 34 Prabumulih teachers will be identified and analyzed, as well as the principal’s actions in doing so. Additionally, the supporting factors used by the principal to raise teacher’s professionalism at SDN 34 Prabumulih will be examined. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the role played by the school principal in raising teacher’s professionalism at SD Negeri 34 Prabumulih, a qualitative descriptive research methodology was adopted. Observable behavior, written or spoken statements from people, and descriptive data approaches are used in analysis. The results showed that school principals work as educators, managers, administrators, supervisors, and motivators in an effort to increase teacher professional competency. The SDN 34 Prabumulih principal also fulfills his responsibilities as manager and administrator by putting up a variety of programs, from short-term to long-term programs, and managing a variety of school administrations. Along with that, the director of SDN 34, Prabumulih, also continuously assesses instructors’ performance in learning activities while also remembering to encourage and motivate them to do better.
