Abstract

Peningkatan inklusi keuangan di Indonesia yang lebih cepat daripada literasi keuangan menunjukkan pentingnya kajian tentang faktor yang berkaitan dengan perilaku keuangan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sosialisasi keuangan keluarga dengan perilaku keuangan pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Luar Sekolah Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 482 mahasiswa angkatan 2022, 2023, 2024, dan 2025. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 120 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert empat tingkat, lalu dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi keuangan keluarga berada pada kategori tinggi sebesar 59,2%, sedangkan perilaku keuangan berada pada kategori tinggi sebesar 78,3%. Uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara sosialisasi keuangan keluarga dengan perilaku keuangan mahasiswa dengan koefisien 0,435 dan signifikansi kurang dari 0,001. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sosialisasi keuangan keluarga berkaitan dengan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengelola keuangan pribadi.

Abstract

Empowering women through non-formal education is an important strategy for increasing their capacity and independence, particularly in mastering information technology. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the andragogical approach in the computer training program at the Gudo Learning Activity Center (SKB) in Jombang Regency, as well as the use of andragogical principles in improving women's empowerment. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research subjects included the head of SKB, mentor teachers, computer trainers, and training participants consisting of factory workers, housewives, and women entrepreneurs. The results of the study indicate that the application of the andragogical approach has been carried out contextually in accordance with the characteristics of adult learners. The training was designed based on the participants' needs, life experiences, and practical orientation. The application of andragogical principles has resulted in increased technical skills, self-confidence, and independence of participants. The computer training program at SKB Gudo has been proven to play a role in strengthening women's empowerment both socially and economically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of educators in increasing student learning motivation in the equivalency program at SKB Cerme, Gresik Regency. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation involving educators and students. The results of the study indicate that educators have a very important role as motivators, facilitators, and guides in the learning process. Educators are able to provide encouragement, create an interesting learning atmosphere, and help students overcome various learning difficulties they face. Student learning motivation is influenced by supporting factors, such as a conducive learning environment and positive social relationships, as well as inhibiting factors, such as fatigue, limited time, and minimal social support. Optimizing the role of educators has been proven to increase student activeness and attendance in learning. Therefore, the implementation of innovative, adaptive, and humanistic learning strategies is needed to improve the quality of equitable education in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of e-module-based learning in the Paket C Program at Homeschooling Pena Surabaya within the context of non-formal education. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design and used thematic analysis techniques. The results showed that the HSPENA application was utilized as a learning platform containing e-modules, instructional videos, evaluations, and student learning reports. The use of e-modules helped students access learning materials flexibly and supported independent learning. In addition, the integration of instructional videos and equivalency modules from SIBI (Sistem Informasi Perbukuan Indonesia) expanded learning resources in non-formal education. These findings are in line with the andragogy theory proposed by Malcolm Knowles, which emphasizes independent and flexible learning. Therefore, e-modules function not only as learning media but also as support for learner-centered and independent learning processes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the waste bank program as an effort toward community empowerment in RW 06, Gerdu Hamlet, Tulungrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving four informants consisting of waste bank administrators, community members of RW 06, and community leaders in Gerdu Hamlet. The findings revealed that the implementation of the waste bank program was carried out through four main functions, namely motivation, direction, communication, and leadership. The program contributed positively to improving environmental quality, developing community skills and creativity, and strengthening social relationships among residents. However, the implementation of the program has not yet been fully optimal due to uneven community participation, the limited number of active members, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Supporting factors for the program’s success include community awareness and concern for the environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include low levels of participation and limited available resources. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase community participation and strengthen facilities and infrastructure support so that the program can be implemented more effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

Women in rural areas continue to face gender inequality influenced by patriarchal culture and limited access to social and economic opportunities. In the context of the santri community in Rejodadi Hamlet, women are often positioned within the domestic sphere, resulting in limited social participation. Religious-based women’s organizations such as Fatayat NU play a strategic role as a medium of non-formal education in supporting the process of women’s empowerment. This study aims to describe the perspectives of Fatayat NU administrators and members regarding women’s positions, explain the forms of empowerment implemented, and analyze their impact on the independence of housewives. The study employed a descriptive exploratory qualitative approach using non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving seven informants. The findings reveal that Fatayat NU PR Rejodadi implements empowerment programs in religious, economic, social, and leadership sectors. These programs contribute to the improvement of members’ emotional, intellectual, social, and economic independence. This study demonstrates that women’s religious organizations at the hamlet level can serve as agents of empowerment that strengthen women’s capacities within the culture of santri communities.

Abstract

Sexuality education constitutes an important aspect in supporting adolescent development; however, its implementation within community contexts is often influenced by strong social and cultural norms. This condition causes adolescents’ learning experiences to remain insufficiently understood, particularly from their subjective perspectives. This study aims to explore adolescents’ experiences and meaning-making regarding community-based sexuality education. The study employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. The research was conducted within a youth organization in Wedi Village, Gedangan District, involving 15 informants consisting of 10 adolescents as primary informants and 5 supporting informants, including the neighborhood head, youth organization administrators, and community leaders. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis based on Braun and Clarke’s framework, supported by triangulation and member checking to ensure data validity. The findings reveal that adolescents tend to interpret sexuality in normative ways, experience conflicts between social values and personal curiosity, and engage in community learning spaces that are not yet fully open and inclusive. These findings indicate that community-based sexuality education is not merely a process of information delivery, but also a social experience shaped by norms, interactions, and adolescents’ subjective meaning-making processes. This study contributes to emphasizing the importance of developing sexuality education approaches that are more dialogical, participatory, and contextual within community environments.

Abstract

Learning interest is one of the critical factors determining the success of learning in nonformal education, particularly in equivalency programs such as Package A. In the context of nonformal educational institutions, students come from diverse social and economic backgrounds and often lack consistent motivation, making the tutor's role essential. This study aimed to: (1) describe the role of tutors in increasing students' learning interest, (2) identify supporting and inhibiting factors faced by tutors, and (3) explain the efforts undertaken by tutors to overcome obstacles and optimize the learning process at SKB Mojokerto. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed. Subjects included three tutors and eight Package A Class V students at SKB Mojokerto, selected through purposive sampling. Data were gathered during a two-month research period via observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. Findings revealed that tutors performed four key roles: motivator, facilitator, mentor, and evaluator. Tutors applied interactive and contextual teaching methods, delivered consistent motivational support, and created a warm, comfortable learning environment. Supporting factors included adequate facilities and positive tutor-student relationships, while inhibiting factors included students' low self-confidence, limited family support, and inconsistent attendance. The tutor's multidimensional role significantly contributed to improving learning interest among Package A students at SKB Mojokerto.

Abstract

The blacksmith industry community in Ketapangkuning Village, Ngusikan District, Jombang Regency is a form of community economic activity with significant role in increasing family income. This study aims to analyze the role of the blacksmith industry community in increasing family income. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 7 informants (blacksmith craftsmen, business owners, spouses of craftsmen, community leaders, and local residents), participant observation of daily production activities, and documentation of production processes and community records. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman's interactive model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Results indicate that the blacksmith industry community plays a key role through employment provision, household economic productivity improvement, and promotion of economic independence. Social solidarity is also reinforced through production cooperation among members. Family income increased by an average of 30% to 50% after joining the community. However, challenges remain in terms of capital limitations, raw material prices, and market competition. Support from local government in capital assistance, product innovation, and digital marketing development is highly needed to sustain and improve the competitiveness of this traditional industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengelolaan pelatihan Bahasa Jepang bagi Calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia (CPMI) di LPK Bojonegoro Mendunia yang meliputi aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari pengelola, instruktur, dan peserta pelatihan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik untuk memastikan konsistensi data dari berbagai informan dan metode. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan pelatihan Bahasa Jepang di LPK Bojonegoro Mendunia secara umum telah menerapkan fungsi manajemen POAC, namun pelaksanaannya belum sepenuhnya optimal. Pada aspek perencanaan, lembaga telah memiliki tujuan yang jelas untuk mempersiapkan peserta bekerja di Jepang melalui penguasaan Bahasa Jepang dan kesiapan tes kerja, tetapi belum didukung analisis kebutuhan awal peserta secara sistematis. Pada aspek pengorganisasian, pembagian tugas antara pengelola, tutor, dan peserta telah berjalan, namun masih terpusat pada pengelola utama. Pada aspek pelaksanaan, program telah berjalan melalui pembelajaran bertahap, praktik langsung, pengulangan materi, serta pembinaan disiplin dan mental kerja. Sementara itu, pada aspek pengawasan, evaluasi dilakukan melalui kontrol kehadiran, kedisiplinan, dan perkembangan peserta, tetapi masih terbatas pada evaluasi operasional harian dan belum mencakup evaluasi program secara menyeluruh. Dengan demikian, pengelolaan pelatihan masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui penguatan perencanaan berbasis kebutuhan peserta, pengembangan struktur organisasi, inovasi pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi kelembagaan yang lebih komprehensif agar lebih efektif, sistematis, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja internasional.
