Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether UIA students have the habit and level of regularly reading the Qur'an every day, what are the factors that strengthen these habits, and how they relate to learning achievement. This research uses quantitative methods. Based on the research procedures used in this study, the research instruments will be the results of the pre-test conducted at the first meeting of the lecture and the post-test at the last meeting of the class, as well as measurements of attendance levels during the lecture process. The population used was students of the Islamic Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, UIA, who recorded the basic level of understanding of the Qur'an and Tajweed. The results were found on student scores before and after the test. The correlation value between the two variables, the result of 0.613 means that the relationship is quite strong and positive. From the calculation results of the value of thit ttabel (-19,6402,0369)   Pre-test has a significant effect on the Post Test. They are increasing the intensity of reading the Qur'an in UIA students with programs and stimulation that can measure direct creation and development of habits and love to read the Qur'an because of the willingness factor to improve the reading of the Qur'an and be consistent in attendance during lectures.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the role played by the Sharia Supervisory Board in Amil Zakat Institutions in Indonesia. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method using literature study data as the primary data and observations as supporting data. The results of this study show that the Sharia Supervisory Board plays a role in implementing sharia compliance of zakat institutions as supervisors and advisers. The role of DPS empirically, apart from providing sharia opinions, sharia fatwas. It has become the role of DPS to provide zakat-related education to actors in zakat institutions. DPS has a vital and positive role in the quality of financial reporting because, on the other hand, muzakki requires transparency and accountability for using zakat funds. The Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) must ensure that zakat funds are calculated correctly, reported transparently, and distributed evenly to zakat recipients. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas peran Dewan Pengawas Syariah dalam Lembaga Amil Zakat di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan data studi literatur sebagai data primer dan observasi sebagai data pendukung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Dewan Pengawas Syariah berperan dalam implementasi kepatuhan syariah lembaga zakat sebagai pengawas dan pembina. Peran DPS secara empiris, selain memberikan opini syariah, fatwa syariah. Sudah menjadi peran DPS untuk memberikan edukasi terkait zakat kepada para pelaku di lembaga zakat. DPS memiliki peran vital dan positif dalam kualitas pelaporan keuangan karena di sisi lain, muzaki membutuhkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas penggunaan dana zakat. Dewan Pengawas Syariah (DPS) harus memastikan dana zakat dihitung dengan benar, dilaporkan secara transparan, dan didistribusikan secara merata kepada penerima zakat.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the growth and impact of Christianity as a missionary religion on the Islamic da'wah in Indonesia, where the Muslim community has a long history of resistance to colonialization, which was initiated by the Christian community. Furthermore, a qualitative descriptive method was used with data predominantly obtained through the observation of facts in the Christianization field. In addition, the effects of Christianity on the Islamic da'wah were analyzed through a review of documentation and reference studies. The results showed that some of the methods used by Christians in spreading their religion and movements were occupation, politics, Western citizens, poverty, diseases, consciousness weakness, self-preparation, Muslims' indulgence, financial guarantees, Laziness in teachings, preparing the missionaries, and brainwashing. By utilizing these methods, Christians often proclaimed their denomination and congregation, ultimately leading to various community conflicts. The findings suggest the need for a healthy and productive dialogue from a new perspective to resolve conflicts, promote harmony, and create a fairer, peaceful, and innovative civilization that views religion through spiritual perspectives.

Abstract

Dakwah is an invitation to implement religion in everyday life whose primary object is humans. Humans are essentially forgetful creatures, so they need dakwah. The Qur'an sees the forgetfulness inherent in human identity as a holy and perfect creature. Dakwah is a noble task for Muslims. Da'wah activities will be significantly helped if supported by many parties, including the local government. And KODI, as a non-regional institution in the religious field, has contributed to dakwah activities, especially in the city of Jakarta. This research intends to examine. The strategic function of KODI is as an organizer of da'wah for the benefit and welfare of the people of DKI Jakarta. KODI has a role in increasing the coordination, synchronism, and dynamism at the institution of propagation in the DKI Jakarta, as an effort to apply the reality of ideology Moslem in the institution of government. This study uses a qualitative method. By using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Research result illustrates that KODI's dakwah routinely holds Muballigh Cadre Training (PKM) in answering dakwah issues: the problems of community dakwah in the capital city of Jakarta, which is increasingly diverse and complex, both from social and psychological problems.

Abstract

This study discusses the da'wah contribution of Indonesian female ulama Tengku Fakinah (d. 1933 AD). This research uses qualitative methods by making and observing works, books, academic research, videos, internet sources, and historical documents. The existing data is then analyzed using the explanatory analysis method where the logic of social phenomena is common sense by using historical, anthropological, and sociological approaches. This research tries to show the role model of female ulama Tengku Fakinah so that women today can learn and imitate the activities and struggles of these female ulama so that many benefits are generated for the improvement of the ummah, especially women. The concept of women scholars, contributions, strategies carried out by these women scholars are presented. Then the supporting and inhibiting factors of women ulama in preaching are also discussed so that they can be understood in depth.

Abstract

Mosques have a strategic function in Islamic society. Apart from being a place of worship, the mosque also functions as a medium for guiding people in a holistic manner. Rasulullahh SAW built the first mosque in the city of Medina with the aim of enlightening the people and introducing divine messages. Mosques are not only used for carrying out ceremonial worship activities such as congregational prayers, dzikir, reading the Koran, and praying but can also be used to carry out socio-religious activities in an effort to develop an Islamic community (Yani, 2007: 5). Even today The existence of a mosque is very potential, especially in empowering Muslims for every aspect of their life. The existence of a reading slogan for a mosque was the initial inspiration for the spirit to restore the glory of Islam from the mosque. History has proven that a Rasulullah GERGAJI chose to build a mosque as the first step in his intention to build a civil society. The concept of a mosque at that time was not only a place of prayer, or a gathering place for certain community groups (tribes), but a mosque was a central place for all public activities, namely the center of education, politics, economy, social and culture. Based on the example of the Prophet, mosques are a major part of the development of Muslims. This shows that mosques in Islam distance are very important in order to foster personalities in particular and Muslims in general (Kurniawan, 2014). The role of mosques for the development of the people is very large and vital. Gazalba (1986) argues that apart from being a center of worship, a mosque is also a center of culture or civilization. The mosque is the first and foremost institution or organization in Islam. The mosque as the center of civilization has a significant role in developing social activities, building the intellectual capability of the people, improving the economy of the people, and becoming a discussion space to find solutions to the current community problems. The importance of the existence of mosques for the Muslim world in Indonesia is indicated by the growing number of mosques and prayer rooms.

Abstract

This article discusses mosque-based community empowerment carried out by the Al Mahdy Grand Mosque, Jatiranggon Village, Kec. Jatisampurna, Bekasi, by conducting survey and interview methods. The results of this study concluded that the Community Empowerment carried out by the Al-Mahdy Grand Mosque can be felt by the surrounding community through social-based programs and Majelis Taklim with mosque management carried out by DKM or mosque administrators. The ground floor of the mosque is usually used for recitation places, weddings, and other social activities, where these activities, especially weddings, have opened business opportunities for the community around the mosque to improve their economy, either with chattering services, parking services, MC, etc.

Abstract

Dakwah bukan sekedar dimaknai menyeru dan berceramah di depan khalayak ramai, tetapi hakikatnya adalah membentuk social change (perubahan masyarakat). Dakwah dan pengembangan masyarakat tidak dapat dilakukan asal jalan dan inovasi tidak terarah, tetapi perlu pengelolaan secara benar dan tepat, serta dibutuhkan profesionalisme dari para pelaku dakwah. Dan melaui teori Pengembangan Masyarakatlah artikel ini dibangun dengan menganalisanya dari sudut kualitatif. Sebagaimana Rasulullah SAW mampu mengubah masyarakat jahiliyah menjadi masyarakat madani yang penuh dengan kecemerlangan, baik dari segi peradaban, pemikiran maupun kekuatan. Selama perjalanan dakwahnya, beliau telah berhasil melakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat Arab berbasis Masjid Nabawi di Madinah. Dan dalam waktu cepat masyarakat Madinah menjadi acuan bagi perkembangan peradaban terbaik yang pernah ada di dunia.

Abstract

Community development da'wah is a social change planning process based on Islamic values. The target for community development is, therefore, to the social setting of community life, rather than individual by individual. In realizing a legal welfare state as intended by the Qur'an, namely a prosperous state under the auspices of Allah, the Almighty, the state is obliged to regulate and allocate sufficient funds for the purposes of guaranteeing the people who need it. Social security includes unemployment benefits, parental benefits (retirement age), scholarships for those who are studying and others. The state is also obliged to provide facilities for worship, education, orphanages, hospitals and others. In the state of Medina law, there is only one motivation for the welfare principle, namely the Islamic doctrine: hablun min Allah wa hablun min al-nas, namely aspects of worship and aspects of muamalah. The realization of the principle of the welfare state law is solely aimed at realizing social justice in society in accordance with the commands of Allah SWT. The Medina community that was built by the Prophet Muhammad, SAW is a society that has succeeded in enforcing the values ​​of justice, the principle of legal equality, guaranteeing welfare for all citizens, and protecting minority groups. Muslim thinkers regard the people (city) of Medina as a prototype of the ideal society of Islamic products. This is based on the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, SAW in his saying, "There is no society in this world that is as good as society, or the best of times is my time."

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang oengaruh Islam modernis dan kontemporer terhadap pemikiran kritis para tokoh Islam. Di dalamnya membahas hakekat pemikiran kontemporer dan Mengapa terjadi kecenderungan-kecenderungan dalam model pemikiran Islam kontemporer tersebut. Lalu pembahasan akan dilanjutkan dengan memahami bagaimana pengaruh perkembangan pemikiran tersebut terhadap kemajuan social kemasyarakatan dan keagamaan. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang mengkaji berbagai macam literatur seperti buku dan lenelitiqn para tokoh modernis dan kontemporer. Dalam analisanya ada 5 kecenderungan dalam model pemikiran Islam kontemporer menghasilkan pemikiran yang beragam seperti fundamentalis, tradisionalis, reformis, posttradisionalis, dan modernis. Pengkategorian Islam sperti ini seolah ada kepentingan terselubung yang diprakarsai untuk membuat semakin terpojoknya Islam.
