Abstract

Application of slow decomposed organic ameliorants is expected to have a long-term impact on improving soil Physico-chemical properties. The source of in situ organic carbon that is easy to obtain on coal mine reclamation land are the coal itself and its coal impurities (parting) ameliorants. They are slow to decompose, so the residue can last for a long time in the soil. This study aimed to examine the effect of first-year residue of both coal and parting as ameliorants on the improvement of the physical and chemical properties of coal mine reclaimed soil and soybean yields. A pot study was เว็บสล็อต | R4shub conducted using a randomized block design with 3 treatments. The treatments tested were residues from the first year of the administration of ameliorant in situ, namely: Control, Bituminous coal ameliorant residue, and parting. Both coal and parting were tested with 5 doses each consisting of 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 tons ha-1. The results showed that the first-year residue of bituminous coal ameliorant and coal impurities significantly affected some of the chemical properties of coal mine reclaimed soil. Both types of ameliorant residues had a very significant effect on increasing C-organic, humic acid, and total N content. The highest increase in soil organic C was found in soil ameliorated by using bituminous coal residues at 25 tons ha-1, and those by using coal impurities at was 20 tons ha-1. However, treatments did not affect soybean growth and yield.

Abstract

The low appreciation and understanding of students towards biodiversity, especially medicinal plants, pose challenges in biology education in Indonesia. Traditional teacher-centered methods emphasize memorization and lack a local cultural context. This study examines the effectiveness of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model based on ethnoscience in improving students’ appreciation and understanding of medicinal plant biodiversity. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group was used, involving grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Utara. The experimental group used the Jigsaw model, while the control group followed conventional methods. Instruments included a Likert scale for appreciation and a multiple-choice test for understanding. Data analysis with SPSS 22.0 showed an average appreciation score of 67.03 and an understanding score of 87.66. The effectiveness test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (P < 0.005), indicating a significant improvement in the experimental group. The study concludes that the Jigsaw model enhances student engagement and appreciation of local knowledge, making it a relevant and contextual learning approach for strengthening students’ understanding of Indonesia’s natural and cultural heritage

Abstract

The integration of computer-based simulations in electrical engineering education enhances students' understanding of complex concepts such as Geometric Mean Radius (GMR) and Geometric Mean Distance (GMD) in transmission line systems. This study aimed to develop and evaluate a MATLAB-based simulation tool to support learning in voltage regulation and efficiency analysis. Adopting a Research and Development (RD) methodology guided by the ADDIE model, the simulation was tested with 32 electrical engineering students. Expert validation, conducted by three power systems professors and two instructional technology specialists, confirmed high content validity (average score 85%). Data analysis using SmartPLS revealed that simulation quality significantly influenced both conceptual understanding (β = 0.903) and learning effectiveness (β = 0.977), with strong model fit (R² = 0.846). Students’ comprehension of voltage regulation and efficiency improved significantly, as indicated by N-gain scores of 0.75 and 0.72, respectively, while parameter analysis proficiency rose from 42.8% to 80.7%. These findings suggest that the simulation tool not only enhances academic learning but also offers industrial benefits. Specifically, it provides power utilities with a cost-effective means to optimize transmission line designs, reducing iteration costs by up to 60%. It also enables rapid prototyping of conductor configurations and serves as a standardized platform for professional training. Furthermore, the tool supports sustainable energy efforts by improving the integration of renewable energy sources through optimized line parameter analysis.

Abstract

Keamanan lingkungan merupakan aspek penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat, terutama di kawasan perumahan yang rawan terhadap ancaman kejahatan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keamanan lingkungan di Perumahan Sumber Karya Residence melalui implementasi sistem berbasis Android menggunakan smart home camera WiFi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan warga tentang konsep keamanan berbasis teknologi, instalasi perangkat smart home camera di area strategis, dan simulasi pengoperasian aplikasi Android. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman warga hingga 92%, mempercepat waktu respon terhadap notifikasi ancaman menjadi rata-rata 3 menit, dan mendapatkan tingkat kepuasan warga sebesar 85%. Implementasi ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) efektif dalam mendukung keamanan lingkungan. Program ini diharapkan menjadi model yang dapat diterapkan di lingkungan perumahan lain untuk menciptakan komunitas yang lebih aman dan berteknologi.

Abstract

Penelitian terkait aspek biologi pada ikan penting dilakukan, mengingat belum adanya data Oxygaster anomalura dari wilayah perairan Desa Aek Kanan. Data dan informasi aspek biologi ikan berguna di dalam upaya pengelolaan sumber ikan Oxygaster anomalura secara lestari. Penelitian bertujuan memperoleh data kelas ukuran dan hubungan panjang berat Oxygaster anomalura di Desa Aek Kanan, Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara. Penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan penentuan stasiun pengamatan berdasarkan perbedaan karakteristik habitat. Sampel ditangkap pada bulan Juni, Juli, dan Agustus 2024. Ikan yang tertangkap kemudian diukur panjang total dan berat. Data hasil penelitian di sajian dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik dengan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel 2010. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh 7 ukuran kelas dengan komposisi yang mendominasi kelas ukuran 115-127 mm sebanyak 20 individu dan paling sedikit diperoleh kelas ukuran 154-166 mm (2 ekor). Analisis hubungan panjang berat ikan Oxygaster anomalura mendapatkan nilai b = 1,54, selanjutnya dikatakan bersifat allometrik negatif.

Abstract

UMKM Wanita pada dasarnya mendominasi jumlah UMKM yang ada di Indonesia dengan persentase sekitar 65% dari total UMKM yang ada. Sehingga, apabila UMKM Wanita dapat lebih maju dan berdaya akan memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah, regional bahkan negara. Salah satu UMKM Wanita yang layak untuk mendapatkan perhatian adalah Snack Crispy Budhe, Usaha ini dimiliki oleh Ibu Juni Yanti dan memiliki tujuan untuk menambah pendapatan keluarga sehingga meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarganya. Permasalahan umum yang dihadapi oleh UMKM ini terbagi kepada permasalahan manajemen dan pemasaran. Permasalahan manajemen terletak kepada kompetensi dan pengetahuan pemilik terhadap merk dagang produk dan pentingnya kemasan. Permasalahan kedua terletak pada bidang pemasaran yaitu tidak memiliki merk dagang dan kemasan yang baik dan menarik minat calon pembeli. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah pendampingan pembuatan merk dagang dan kemasan. Solusi yang dapat ditawarkan adalah dengan memberikan pendampingan terkait pentingnya merk dagang dan kemasan bagi UMKM juga membantu dalam pembuatan merk dagang dan kemasan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Aplikasi e-Tilang berfungsi untuk mengelola dan memproses data perkara lalu lintas/tilang yang diputus pengadilan secara elektronik. Aplikasi ini dirancang berbasis web yang dapat diakses secara online dengan tujuan mempermudah masyarakat untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai denda tilang, pembayaran secara online, dan jadwal pengambilan barang bukti yang disita. Namun, meskipun aplikasi ini telah tersedia, masih banyak masyarakat yang memilih untuk mencari informasi dan membayar denda tilang secara langsung di loket pembayaran. Hal ini menyebabkan antrian panjang dan waktu tunggu yang lama, yang seharusnya dapat dihindari dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi yang telah disediakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur persepsi masyarakat terhadap kemudahan penggunaan (Perceived Ease of Use) dan manfaat aplikasi (Perceived Usefulness). Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 63 responden yang datang ke Kantor Kejaksaan Negeri Gayo Lues. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan teknik deskriptif dengan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden (lebih dari 75%) setuju bahwa aplikasi e-Tilang bermanfaat, mudah digunakan, dan dapat membantu menghemat waktu. Pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan hasil yang sangat tinggi, dengan tingkat penerimaan masyarakat yang signifikan terhadap penggunaan aplikasi. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi e-Tilang diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat Gayo Lues, dan disarankan untuk melakukan sosialisasi lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan penggunaan aplikasi.Kata Kunci—Aplikasi e-tilang, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Perilaku Pengguna, Pelayanan Publik ABSTRACTThe e-Tilang application functions to manage and process traffic case data/tickets decided by the court electronically. This application is designed to be web-based and can be accessed online with the aim of making it easier for the public to obtain information about traffic ticket fines, online payments, and schedules for collecting confiscated evidence. However, even though this application is available, many people still choose to search for information and pay traffic ticket fines directly at the payment counter. This causes long queues and long waiting times, which should be avoided by utilizing the application that has been provided. This study aims to measure public perceptions of ease of use (Perceived Ease of Use) and the benefits of the application (Perceived Usefulness). The method used is a survey by distributing questionnaires to 63 respondents who came to the Gayo Lues District Attorney's Office. The analysis was carried out using descriptive techniques with a Likert scale. The results showed that the majority of respondents (more than 75%) agreed that the e-Tilang application was useful, easy to use, and could help save time. Validity and reliability tests showed very high results, with a significant level of public acceptance of the use of the application. In conclusion, the e-Tilang application was well received by the Gayo Lues community, and it is recommended to conduct further socialization to increase the use of the application. Keywords—E-ticket application, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), User Behavior, Public Service

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of human resource competence, implementation of regional government information system applications and compensation which can improve employee performance. The compensation used in this research is financial compensation. This research uses variance-based structural equations, smart PLS is used to solve variance-based SEM problems. The respondents in this research were 80 employees of the Financial Agency in Bukittinggi City. The results of his research found that human resource competence has a positive and significant influence on performance. Implementation of the Regional Government Information System application has a positive but not significant influence on performance. Compensation has a positive and significant influence on performance. The implementation of SIPD has a positive and significant effect on Human Resource Competency. The application of SIPD to performance through human resource competency is significant.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the growth aspects of the fourfinger threadfin (Eleutheronema tetradactylum) caught in the waters of the Barumun River, Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra. The research was conducted using a survey method, with fish samples collected from traditional fishermen in Telaga Suka Village using gill nets. The total length of the fish was measured using a ruler with an accuracy of 0.01 mm, and the weight was measured using a digital scale with an accuracy of 0.05 mg. Data analysis included size distribution based on Sturges’ rule and the length-weight relationship using a logarithmic approach. The results showed that the river-caught E. tetradactylum had a relatively even size class distribution ranging from 195–315 cm, while the bubble threadfin exhibited more varied sizes ranging from 138–168 cm. The length-weight relationship for both species indicated a negative allometric growth pattern, with b values of -3.9984 (river threadfin) and -5.5749 (bubble threadfin), indicating that length growth occurs faster than weight gain. In conclusion, E. tetradactylum in the Barumun River shows growth influenced by environmental factors, fishing gear, and anthropogenic activities. The species holds significant economic value for local communities, and thus its management should be directed toward sustainability. Abstract

This study aims to determine the biological aspects of the kemprit fish (Ilisha megaloptera) found in the Bilah River. The method used was exploratory, with fish sampling points determined based on fishing areas used by local fishermen (purposive sampling). The fishing gear used to catch the fish was a trap net. The total length and weight of the captured fish were measured. The results showed that fish sizes were classified into size classes, namely: small (43–51 cm) with a frequency of 6 individuals; (52–64 cm) with a frequency of 24 individuals; (65–73 cm) with a frequency of 8 individuals; medium (74–82 cm) with a frequency of 4 individuals; (83–91 cm) with a frequency of 7 individuals; and large (92–100 cm) with a frequency of 1 individual. In conclusion, the biological aspects of Ilisha megaloptera in the Bilah River are still considered very good. Keywords: Biological Aspects, Ilisha megaloptera, Bilah River
