Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi opini konsumen pada variabel bebas yaitu desain produk, promosi media sosial dan word of mouth yang berpengaruh dominan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada UMKM Batik Dinda Hayu. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel sebanyak 112 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linier berganda dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) desain produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung sebesar 3,650 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 kurang dari 5% dan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,317; (2) promosi media sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung sebesar 3,123 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,002 kurang dari 5% dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,244; (3) word of mouth berpengaruh positif dan signifikan.

Abstract

This study examines the role of brand loyalty as a mediating variable in the relationship between brand satisfaction, brand attachment, and consumer advocacy in the modern coffee industry, using Kopi Kenangan as a case study. Empirical evidence suggests that consumer satisfaction with product and service quality does not always lead to voluntary advocacy behavior. Guided by Expectancy-Disconfirmation Theory (EDT), this study investigates how functional satisfaction and emotional attachment influence loyalty and subsequently encourage consumer advocacy. A quantitative approach was employed with purposive sampling of 150 respondents who had been active Kopi Kenangan customers for at least six months. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The results indicate that brand satisfaction and brand attachment have a positive and significant effect on brand loyalty, while brand loyalty strongly influences consumer advocacy. Furthermore, brand loyalty mediates the relationship between brand satisfaction and brand attachment with consumer advocacy. These findings confirm that brand loyalty is shaped not only by functional satisfaction but also by a strong emotional bond between consumers and brands. This study provides practical insights for marketers to strengthen personalized brand experiences and develop emotionally driven loyalty strategies to foster sustainable consumer advocacy in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss qualitative approaches in marketing research as part of measuring business performance today. This research examines the similarities and differences between three qualitative research methods: phenomenology, grounded theory, and ethnography. Research will be beneficial to the development of theories and will assist in the making of sound business decisions. This study demonstrates that qualitative research methods are now considered appropriate for use in consumer research as well as marketing in general. This article presents a research method that takes a qualitative approach and discusses some of the potential applications of that method in marketing research and the measurement of business success.
