Abstract

This research centers on the impact of Profit Sharing Ratio scheme, murabaha financing, and Non-Performing Finance (NPF) on the financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia, specifically focusing on the Return on Assets (ROA) metric. Utilizing a quantitative methodology, data from 12 Islamic Commercial Banks from 2014-2023 is analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques with EViews 10 software. The findings show that the Profit Sharing Ratio has no significant effect on the Return on Assets of Islamic Commercial Banks. Although Profit Sharing Ratio is a factor that can reflect the profit sharing between banks and customers, this finding indicates that the volatility of profit sharing schemes does not directly affect the profitability of banks, which could be due to the volatile and uncertain nature of the Islamic market itself. On the other hand, murabaha financing shows a significant effect on Return on Assets, indicating that fixed-margin financing is more effective in increasing bank profitability. Murabaha financing, which is based on the principle of sale and purchase with a clear margin, provides stability and predictability in cash flows, which is important in managing the financial performance of Islamic banks, compared to profit-sharing-based financing products that depend on market fluctuations. In addition, Non-Performing Finance has a significant impact on the financial performance of banks. High Non-Performing Finance indicates a high risk of non-performing financing, which can reduce profits and strain the financial stability of the bank. Hence, improved risk management is essential for Islamic banks to stay profitable and financially healthy.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kesehatan reproduksi adalah keadaan optimal secara fisik, mental, dan sosial yang memungkinkan seseorang menjalankan fungsi reproduksinya dengan sehat dan aman. Masalah yang kerap dialami oleh remaja putri adalah dysmenorrhea, yaitu rasa nyeri saat menstruasi akibat ketidakseimbangan hormon progesteron yang dapat mengganggu aktivitas harian. Penanganan nyeri haid dapat dilakukan dengan metode nonfarmakologis, teknik Massage Effleurage. Tujuan: Mengetahui Efektivitas Massage Effleurage terhadap Penurunan Intensitas Nyeri Dysmenorrhea Pada Remaja Putri. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi experiment dan rancangan two group pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group design. Sampel 30 siswi SMK ‘Aisyiyah Palembang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling, dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: 15 siswi menerima intervensi Massage Effleurage (kelompok eksperimen) dan 15 siswi tidak menerima intervensi (kelompok kontrol). Instrumen yang digunakan kuesioner skala nyeri untuk mengukur intensitas nyeri dysmenorrhea. Hasil: Analisis uji Wilcoxon signed ranks test pada skala nyeri sesudah dilakukan intervensi diperoleh nilai p-value = 0,000 < 0,05. Saran: Responden agar dapat memahami dan menerapkan massage effleurage secara mandiri untuk mengurangi nyeri dysmenorrhea.Kata kunci : Dysmenorrhea, Massage Effleurage, Nyeri Menstruasi, Remaja Putri.

Abstract

In the continuously evolving digital era, mastering English in a professional context has become a primary necessity, especially for accounting students who are required to understand technical terminology and effectively communicate financial information. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of artificial intelligence tools in enhancing the teaching of English for Accounting, specifically within the framework of English for Specific Purposes education. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design, the study incorporates a pretest and posttest control group, comprising two distinct groups of accounting students. One group receives conventional instruction, while the other benefits from AI-enhanced teaching methods. The findings suggest that the group that participated in the experiment showed notable enhancements in their knowledge of technical terms, ability to comprehend financial documents, and proficiency in both writing and communication related to accounting when compared to the group that did not participate. Additionally, the use of AI proved to help reduce cognitive load and enhance learning motivation among students. These findings imply the need for systematic integration of artificial intelligence technology into the ESP curriculum, as well as training for instructors to optimize its use. Thus, AI technology plays not only a supportive role but also serves as an adaptive learning strategy relevant to current industry needs.

Abstract

The use of technology and robots in foreign language learning has gained popularity in recent years. The introduction of sophisticated artificial intelligence technology for language learning has the power to completely change the way that languages are taught and acquired. ChatGPT is an evolving language model created by OpenAI that can produce texts. ChatGPT may prove to be a useful tool for language learning for both educators and students. Artificial intelligence technology is transforming foreign language education by offering new pedagogical approaches. ChatGPT presents practical applications for both language instructors and students in educational settings. This study aimed to enhance students’ oral communication skills by partnering in which is a tool of ChatGPT. It answered the following questions: How can ChatGPT enhance students’ oral communication skills and also enhance students’ attitudes toward learning English. The findings reveal that large language models, such as ChatGPT, can substantially enhance English language learning through a multifaceted approach. Specifically, the research demonstrates that these AI-powered platforms facilitate language acquisition by (a) providing specific feedback on language accuracy and (b) fostering language fluency through ample contextual practice. The participants consisted of 25 students from the accounting management program at State Polytechnic of Malang. To sum up, it can be stated that ChatGPT contributed to students' success by enhancing their attitudes and verbal communication skills.

Abstract

Pesantren kilat merupakan salah satu wahana alternatif kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di luar sekolah dalam rangka memantapkan pembinaan keimanan dan ketakwaan terhadap Allah SWT. Dosen dan mahasiswa merupakan masyarakat akademik yang wajib melaksanakan tridharma perguruan tinggi guna mencerdaskan generasi bangsa. Dalam penelitian ini penulis berupaya meningkatkan minat belajar anak­anak melalui program pesantren kilat Gampong Rambong Cut Kecamatan Seunagan Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Dengan menggunakan metode pendampingan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan pesantren kilat merupakan pendidikan diluar sekolah yang sangat di sukai anak-anak dengan materi-materi yang disajikan adalah pengetahuan umum serta pengetahuan keagamaan dalam hal belajar dan mengaji, yang di dalamnya yaitu cara berpidato, mengaji dengan makhraj yang benar, azan, menghafal ayat-ayat pendek, praktek wudhu dan menghafal do'a sehari-hari sehingga dapat mengembangkan karakter dan pengetahuan anak-anak khususnya di bidang agama, melalui program ibadah yang berkesinambungan

Abstract

Artikel ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis legalitas implementasi asas poligami di negara Indonesia yang masih banyak sekali terjadi kesalahan dalam memaknai arti asas poligami dan penerapannya di dalam perkawinan. Analisis artikel ilmiah ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif yang menitikberatkan kepada penelitian kepustakaan melalui sumber-sumber literatur yang terdahulu untuk mengkaji lebih dalam terkait permasalahan yang diusung dalam artikel ilmiah ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwasannya poligami diperkenalkan didalam situasi tertentu yang mendesak ataupun ketentuan-ketentuan lan yang berdasar kepada undang-undang.

Abstract

MI KH Badrussalam is one of the educational institutions at the elementary level located in Malang City. This madrasah has been established since 1926 during the colonial period. In 2022, MI KH Badrussalam has a total of 52 students and 7 teachers. One of the problems of this madrasah related to students is the lack of students' understanding of financial literacy. This is due to the unfavorable economic conditions of the family, so that many financial literacy practices cannot be carried out optimally. However, this does not stop madrasah from continuing to try to grow students' skills in managing finances. Based on the description of the problems above, the PPM team provides training related to financial literacy to increase students' understanding of good financial management. There are three methods that will be used in this activity, namely lecture, discussion and question and answer. The PPM team and partners believe that this training on financial literacy can provide benefits for both parties. The result of this training is that students' knowledge and skills regarding financial literacy increase.

Abstract

Collaborative learning is a strategy of teaching and learning by grouping students to work together to solve a problem, complete an assignment, and produce a product. It increases learners’ motivation and promotes a harmonious atmosphere, decreasing classroom anxiety and facilitating interaction discussion and an individual sense of self-centeredness. At the same time, it enlarges students' knowledge and skills. One of the important skills is oral communication. Oral communication is an important skill to learn as it could express ideas and opinions. It uses to discuss knowledge and bridge the communication for ones who do not understand English. Therefore, this study aims to encourage students to do collaborative learning to strengthen their oral communication skills. The researcher used the action research method to see the improvement of the students’ communication skills. The subject was 32 students of the Accounting Department State Polytechnic of Malang. The study resulted that most students showed an improvement in all four language skills, but speaking skills had the greatest improvement.

Abstract

An assessment is a way of gathering and discussing data from various sources to gain an understanding of what a student knows, understands, and is able to do with their knowledge resulting from their education to improve their future learning. The purposes of this study were to see the motivation of students to learn the English project suggested in the ESP Course,  Business Meetings Project, and also measured the student's success in language skills, especially oral communication skills.The study was conducted  using an action research method where a questionnaire, students' achievements, and classroom activities were taken as the data. The questionnaire was scored using the Likert scale rating. Students will respond to this scale by rating the motivation factor on a scale. The researchers employed a pre- and post-test to determine how much the students' abilities had improved. The pre-test and post-test mean scores were compared and computed by the researcher using the T-test technique. The participants were 26 students from the Accounting Department of the State Polytechnic Of Malang. The outcome of this study was the successful implementation of the model. The T-test for the first project showed 62,30, the second project had 74,69, and the third project had 79,30.

Abstract

The CBL offer dynamic and engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and preferences. By working collaboratively in groups, students not only enhance their language skills but also develop essential communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Therefore, this study is aimed at investigating the efficacy of case-based learning model integrated with critical thinking skills to improve EFL learners’ reading comprehension. This study is designed in a classroom action research. 27 EFL learners are involved in this study. The research participants are selected in purposive random sampling. To collect the research data, the observation sheets, reading tests, and critical thinking tests are applied as the research instruments. The data consisted of qualitative and quantitative one. Qualitative data are analyzed qualitatively while the quantitative data are counted in statistical analysis. Based on the results, the findings show that the case-based learning model integrated with critical thinking skills is effective to improve EFL learners’ reading comprehension. The improvement lies on learners’ vocabulary mastery, grammar knowledge, comprehension, reading strategies, and fluency. For further studies, researchers can include metacognitive strategies and measure learners’ linguistic awareness in learning language skills.
