Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mensimulasikan chassis mobil KMHE menggunakan perangkat lunak Autodesk Inventor dan software ANSYS. Chassis mobil KMHE yang dirancang menggunakan model space frame dengan material utama hollow baja hitam. Parameter teknis seperti uji tarik, deformasi, tegangan dan safety factor digunakan untuk mendukung proses simulasi dan analisis perfoma mekanik chassis mobil KMHE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada uji tarik material hollow baja hitam sebagai bahan utama chassis KMHE diperoleh nilai yield strength sebesar ±317,5 MPa dan ultimate tensile strength sebesar ±393,6 MPa, serta modulus elastisitas sebesar ±19.226 MPa. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa material tersebut memiliki sifat mekanik yang kuat, kaku, dan layak digunakan sebagai struktur utama chassis kendaraan ringan. Pada analisis deformasi, tegangan, dan safety factor menggunakan perangkat lunak ANSYS diperoleh nilai deformasi maksimum sebesar 40,05 mm, tegangan maksimum sebesar 7,24 MPa serta menghasilkan safety factor sebesar 43,86. Hasil ini menandakan struktur sangat aman untuk digunakan dalam kondisi pembebanan statis pada kendaraan KMHE. This study aims to design and simulate the KMHE car chassis using Autodesk Inventor and ANSYS software. The KMHE car chassis is designed using a space frame model with the main material being black steel hollow. Technical parameters such as tensile tests, deformation, stress, and safety factor were used to support the simulation process and analysis of the KMHE vehicle's mechanical performance. The results showed that tensile tests using black hollow steel as the primary material for the KMHE chassis yielded a yield strength of ±317.5 MPa, an ultimate tensile strength of ±393.6 MPa, and a modulus of elasticity of ±19,226 MPa. These results indicate that the material possesses strong and stiff mechanical properties, making it suitable for use as the primary structure of a light vehicle chassis. Analysis of deformation, stress, and safety factor using ANSYS software yielded a maximum deformation of 40.05 mm, a maximum stress of 7.24 MPa, and a safety factor of 43.86. These results indicate that the structure is very safe for use under static loading conditions in KMHE vehicles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi fraksi volume dan perlakuan awal serat terhadap kekuatan uji tarik pada material komposit berbasis serat batang pisang. Material komposit ini dikembangkan sebagai alternatif bahan penguat alami yang ramah lingkungan dan memanfaatkan limbah biomassa. Serat batang pisang diberi perlakuan alkali dengan variasi larutan NaOH 2%, 4%, 6% untuk meningkatkan kualitas antarmuka antara serat dan matriks resin epoxy. Variasi fraksi volume serat yang digunakan adalah 20%, 40%, dan 60%. Proses pembuatan komposit dilakukan dengan metode hand lay-up, sedangkan pengujian sifat mekanik meliputi uji tarik (ASTM E8). Hasil penelitian adalah pengujian pada fraksi volume 40% yang menghasilkan sifat mekanik terbaik untuk aplikasi struktural. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in volume fraction and fiber pretreatment on the tensile strength of banana stem fiber-based composite materials. This composite material was developed as an alternative environmentally friendly natural reinforcing material and utilizes biomass waste. Banana stem fibers were treated with alkali with variations NaOH solution of 2%,4%, 6% to improve the quality of the interface between the fiber and the epoxy resin matrix. The variations in fiber volume fraction used were 20%, 40%, and 60%. The composite manufacturing process was carried out using the hand lay-up method, while mechanical property testing included tensile testing (ASTM E8). The results of the study were testing at a volume fraction of 40% which produced the best mechanical properties for structural applications.

Abstract

Bacterial infections, such as S. aureus and E. coli, remain a global health issue, particularly concerning bacterial resistance, which often leads to serious complications. One approach to address this problem is the development of Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs), known for their high conductivity and antibacterial activity. Zn-based MOFs are known to possess strong antibacterial activity because Zn²⁺ ions can damage bacterial cell membranes, disrupt enzymatic processes, and induce oxidative stress. In comparison, Zr-based MOFs are well known for their excellent chemical stability and biocompatibility. In this study, hydrogels containing three types of MOFs-Zn-BDC, Zn-Fer, and Zr-BDC were developed. This research aims to synthesize and characterize alginate-gelatin hydrogels containing MOFs and evaluate their antibacterial activity. The results indicate that the modification of alginate-gelatin hydrogels with MOFs has been successfully synthesized, as evidenced by FTIR, XRD, and SEM-EDS analyses. The materials successfully produced include Hy/Zn-BDC, Hy/Zn-Fer, and Hy/Zr-BDC. Antibacterial activity testing shows that adding MOF into the hydrogel matrix significantly increases the inhibition against S. aureus and E. coli compared to the hydrogel without MOF. Among the three MOF variants, Hy/Zn-BDC showed the highest antibacterial activity, followed by Hy/Zn-Fer and Hy/Zr-BDC. Specifically, Hy/Zn-BDC inhibited S. aureus growth by 95% and E. coli by 100%, accompanied by the lowest effective inhibitory concentration values (2.0 mg/mL and 2.4 mg/mL, respectively). These results demonstrate the high effectiveness of Zn-based MOF in enhancing the antibacterial performance of the hydrogel as well as its potential development for wound dressing applications.

Abstract

The Chow Kit settlement in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is characterized by a population of homeless and low-to-no-income residents. As such, this area frequently becomes a focus for social institutions implementing Community Service Responsibility (CSR) programs, particularly in the health domain. This CSR initiative represents a collaborative effort between USIM Malaysia (Faculty of Dentistry) and the Faculty of Pharmacy (IIK Bhakti Wiyata Kediri, Indonesia), focusing on educational interventions to prevent and reduce dental caries through the use of herbal mouthwash formulations. Dental caries has emerged as a prevalent oral health concern with a significant impact on overall health. The condition originates from the formation of Streptococcus mutans bacterial biofilms, which are typically exacerbated by excessive consumption of sugary foods and tobacco use. The community service methodology employed participatory counseling and educational approaches, utilizing purposive sampling techniques. Evaluation of the program demonstrated enhanced comprehension among the 22 participants, with mean pre-test scores of 57.39 improving to 79.09 post-intervention, reflecting a 21.7% increase. While some participants maintained baseline scores, 86.5% of attendees (19 individuals) achieved improvements exceeding 20 points. Sustainable monitoring and evaluation mechanisms remain essential, given that the participant cohort primarily consists of homeless individuals whose transient living circumstances often preclude consistent maintenance of personal oral hygiene practices.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kesehatan reproduksi adalah keadaan optimal secara fisik, mental, dan sosial yang memungkinkan seseorang menjalankan fungsi reproduksinya dengan sehat dan aman. Masalah yang kerap dialami oleh remaja putri adalah dysmenorrhea, yaitu rasa nyeri saat menstruasi akibat ketidakseimbangan hormon progesteron yang dapat mengganggu aktivitas harian. Penanganan nyeri haid dapat dilakukan dengan metode nonfarmakologis, teknik Massage Effleurage. Tujuan: Mengetahui Efektivitas Massage Effleurage terhadap Penurunan Intensitas Nyeri Dysmenorrhea Pada Remaja Putri. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi experiment dan rancangan two group pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group design. Sampel 30 siswi SMK ‘Aisyiyah Palembang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling, dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: 15 siswi menerima intervensi Massage Effleurage (kelompok eksperimen) dan 15 siswi tidak menerima intervensi (kelompok kontrol). Instrumen yang digunakan kuesioner skala nyeri untuk mengukur intensitas nyeri dysmenorrhea. Hasil: Analisis uji Wilcoxon signed ranks test pada skala nyeri sesudah dilakukan intervensi diperoleh nilai p-value = 0,000 < 0,05. Saran: Responden agar dapat memahami dan menerapkan massage effleurage secara mandiri untuk mengurangi nyeri dysmenorrhea.Kata kunci : Dysmenorrhea, Massage Effleurage, Nyeri Menstruasi, Remaja Putri.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cooling media variations (air, water, and salt water) on the mechanical properties of AISI 1045 medium carbon steel welded using the Metal Inert Gas (MIG) method. The experimental method was used with steel specimens in the form of plates which were then tested for tensile strength in accordance with the ASTM E8 standard and tested for hardness. The results of the study show that cooling with air produces the highest tensile strength (35.59 Kgf/mm²) due to the formation of ductile pearlite and ferrite microstructures. Cooling with water produced moderate tensile strength (34.42 Kgf/mm²), while cooling with salt water produced the lowest tensile strength (22.34 Kgf/mm²) due to the formation of hard but brittle martensite. Conversely, the highest hardness value was obtained with saltwater cooling (386.20 HV in the HAZ), followed by water, and the lowest with air. In general, slow cooling increases ductility and tensile strength, while rapid cooling increases hardness but decreases ductility. These findings emphasize the importance of selecting the appropriate cooling medium according to application requirements, whether the emphasis is on tensile strength or material hardness.

Abstract

This research analyzes the forms of notary's civil liability for negligence in making authentic deeds and the forms of legal protection provided to notaries. The background of this research is the increasing number of cases of authority abuse by notaries resulting in losses to the parties and third parties, as well as the imbalance between the idealism of the notary position as an independent public official and the reality of practice in society. The research problems formulated are: (1) what are the forms of notary's civil liability in making authentic deeds; and (2) what are the forms of legal protection for notaries. The method used is normative juridical with a statutory approach examining the Indonesian Civil Code and the Notary Office Law, as well as a case approach analyzing the West Java High Court Decision Number 09/PDT/2017/PT.BDG and the Supreme Court Decision Number 3121 K/Pdt/2018. The results show that notary's civil liability stems from their attributive authority and is based on unlawful acts (Article 1365 of the Indonesian Civil Code), which may include joint and several liability for material and immaterial compensation, deed cancellation, payment of dwangsom, and degradation of authentic deed's evidentiary power to that of a private deed (Article 1869 of the Indonesian Civil Code). This liability is personal and ongoing, not expiring even when the notary's position ends. As a counterbalance, notaries receive legal protection through the right to refuse testimony, internal professional forums (Supervisory Assembly and Notary Honor Council), the right to refuse making deeds, treatment as expert witnesses in court, and cultural protection in the form of a legal culture that respects the independence of the notary position. The Indonesian legal system has created a balance between accountability and professional protection for notaries.
