Abstract

Background: Merawat jenazah adalah fardu kifayah, artinya jika dilakukan oleh satu orang maka kewajibannya menjadi tanggungan semua orang. Di beberapa daerah, perawatan jenazah hanya dilakukan oleh para lansia. Sedangkan remaja sangat jarang berpartisipasi dalam pelaksanaan perawatan tubuh. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam merawat jenazah sesuai dengan ajaran Nabi, khususnya yang tercantum dalam Himpunan Tarjih Muhammadiyah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelatihan perawatan jenazah remaja di Dusun Ploso, Wonolelo, Pleret, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Metode: Mitra pengabdiannya adalah Karang Taruna Ploso Wonolelo Pleret Bantul. Jumlah peserta adalah 38 pemuda dan pemudi. Metode pelatihan berupa gathering dan menonton video bersama, dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan praktik perawatan tubuh. Hasil: Kegiatan berjalan dengan sangat baik, dan para peserta mengikuti dengan seksama dan sangat antusias. Dari hasil wawancara dengan peserta setelah pelaksanaan, mereka merasa lebih percaya diri untuk melakukan perawatan jenazah, karena memiliki pengalaman langsung praktik perawatan jenazah. Terjadi peningkatan kemampuan dan keterampilan merawat jenazah peserta. Kesimpulan: para peserta merasa percaya diri melakukan perawatan jenazah, karena mereka telah mencoba langsung melalui media yang disiapkan dalam pengabdian ini.

Abstract

Masa depan Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah tidak akan terlepas dari upaya untuk meneruskan cita-cita dan keyakinan hidupnya terutama bagi para angkatan muda untuk nantinya berperan sebagai pelopor dalam penyempurnaan amal usaha yang dimiliki oleh Muhammadiyah. Muhammadiyah sebagai organisasi Islam terbesar tentunya membutuhkan kader penerus untuk melanjutkan estafet kepemimpinan. Pengkaderan merupakan jantungnya organisasi, dimana keberlangsungan suatu organisasi, sangat tergantung dari seberapa komitmen para pengurus organisasi tersebut melaksanakan pengkaderan. Penelitian ini akan membahas tentang bagaimana sistem ideologi manajemen pendidikan kader dalam Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi pustaka proses studi literatur yang dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan diantaranya adalah pencarian sumber data berdasarkan topik garis besar, pengelompokkan sumber data serta perbandingan data yang saling berhubungan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menegaskan bahwa proses pengkaderan yang dikembangkan berdasarkan sistem ideologi Muhammadiyah, diharapkan dapat menghasilkan perubahan perilaku dan tindakan. Sistem Perkaderan Muhammadiyah dapat dilakukan melalui jalur keluarga, AUM, Ortom, dan jalur khusus MPK. Bentuk kaderisasi di Muhammadiyah ada yang bersifat formal dan non formal. Sistem kaderisasi formal sendiri terbagi menjadi pengkaderan utama dan pengkaderan fungsional. Sistem Perkaderan Muhammadiyah (SPM) harus berorientasi pada manajemen pendidikan kader yang efektif dan efisien yang kemudian menjadi dasar dari pelaksanaan kegiatan perkaderan.

Abstract

a Karno as the first President of the Republic of Indonesia as the founding father of this nation stressed that: This nation must be built by prioritizing character building, because this character will make Indonesia a great, advanced and dignified nation. If character development is not carried out, then the Indonesian people will become coolies. Character can be interpreted as a basic value that builds a person's personal, formed because of the influence of heredity and environmental influences, which distinguishes it from others, and is manifested in attitudes and behaviors in everyday life.

Abstract

This research investigates the implementation of results-based leadership in an educational context, with a case study at SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta. The background to this research identifies the need for effective leadership in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to understand the results-based leadership practices implemented by school principals at SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta and measure their impact on the quality of education. The research method involved in-depth interviews with the school principal, Mr. Abdurrahman, observations in the school environment, and analysis of documents related to school leadership policies. The collected data was analyzed qualitatively to identify the results-based leadership strategies implemented and their impact on learning. This case study reflects successful leadership practices in increasing student achievement, developing a dynamic learning culture, and motivating school staff. The results of this research show that the application of results-based leadership techniques has succeeded in improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta. Principals who implement results-based leadership have created a school environment that focuses on achieving better results, student motivation, and innovation in learning. The conclusion of this research is that results-based leadership can be an effective model in managing schools and improving the quality of education. The practical guide prepared based on the findings of this research can be a reference for educational leaders to strengthen results-based leadership practices in the continuously developing Indonesian educational context.

Abstract

Leadership is an important aspect in various areas of life, a deeper understanding of how individual characteristics contribute to the emergence of effective leaders can help in the development of better leaders in the future. This article aims to analyze various leader theories that have been developed by leadership experts in the context of the development of individual characteristics. The method used in this research is library research. This data was collected using documentation techniques from scientific journal articles that have been published online and books that match the theme. This article explores classical and contemporary theories of leadership, such as Great Man theory, situational leadership theory, charismatic leadership theory, and transformational leadership theory. We also conduct a critical analysis of these theories, focusing on how they link the development of individual characteristics to a person's ability to be an effective leader. Through a better understanding of the correlation between individual factors and leadership, we hope this article can provide deeper insight into how leaders are born and develop.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine the role of the library in increasing the literacy culture of Islamic Religious Education students at Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta, starting from an overview of the literacy culture of Islamic Religious Education students, then the efforts of the library in improving literacy culture as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors influencing the efforts of the library in improving the literacy culture of Islamic Religious Education students. Qualitative methods with a case study approach orCase Studies, The samples in this study were from campus 4 and campus 6 library staff as well as 8 Islamic Religious Education students of Jogja and Wates in 2019-2022. The results of the research shows that the role of the library in increasing the literacy culture is as a mediator and facilitator who provides programs and services so that it can support literacy cultural activities in the library but the cultural description of literacy of Islamic Religious Education students in 2022 is still classified as This can be proven through the intensity of visits by Islamic Religious Education students, namely only around 3-4 students out of a total of 932 Islamic Religious Education students from the 2019-2022 class and student interest in utilizing library services and programs in enhancing the literacy culture presented by the library has not done it optimally. The supporting factors are the procurement of relevant library materials and the inhibiting factors that exist in students, namely the lack of motivation and enthusiasm.Keywords : Library, Culture of Literacy, Islamic Religious Education Students Abstrak: Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peran perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam di Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta, mulai dari gambaran budaya literasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam, kemudian upaya perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi serta faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung yang mempengaruhi upaya perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus atau Case Studies. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berasal dari staf perpustakaan kampus 4 dan kampus 6 serta 8 mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam Jogja dan Wates Tahun 2019-2022. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilaksanakan menunjukkan bahwa peran perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam di Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta ialah sebagai mediator dan fasilitator yang menyediakan program dan layanan sehingga dapat mendukung kegiatan budaya literasi di perpustakaan namun gambaran budaya literasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam pada tahun 2022 masih tergolong rendah hal ini dapat dibuktikan melalui intensitas kunjungan mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam yaitu hanya berkisar 3-4 mahasiswa dari jumlah 932 mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam Angkatan Tahun 2019-2022 dan minat mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan layanan dan program perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi yang disajikan oleh pihak perpustakaan belum dilakukan secara maksimal. Adapun faktor pendukung berupa pengadaan bahan pustaka yang relevan serta faktor penghambat yang ada pada mahasiswa yaitu kurangnya motivasi dan semangat.Kata Kunci : Perpustakaan, Budaya Literasi, Mahasiswa PAI

Abstract

A leader who achieves success must have several factors that are the key to success. In this research article, discusses anything that can be a factor in one's success in becoming a leader, especially in relation to Islamic education. This research uses the Library Research model by taking research data that has been presented from other sources such as journals, books, and so on. The research findings show that there are several factors that have an impact on the success of a leader in the realm of Islamic education. From the results of the research in this article, it can be concluded that the sustainability of an educational institution develops and succeeds depending on how the captain (leader) is. A leader who has good morals and adheres to all religious and cultural norms must be worthy of the title of successful leader. Abstract

The need to utilize technology to increase the effectiveness of Islamic learning, especially in achieving academic goals and strengthening student learning motivation continues to increase and develop. Therefore, an online collaborative learning platform is implemented in learning so that the learning process continues to move forward. The aim of this research is to evaluate the impact of using an online collaborative learning platform on students' academic achievement and learning motivation in the context of Islamic Religious Education learning. The research method used is a quantitative approach. Academic achievement data is collected through periodic tests and assessments, while learning motivation data is collected through previously validated questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using appropriate statistical techniques. The research results show that the application of the online collaborative learning platform has a significant positive impact on students' academic achievement and learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education learning. Students who use the online collaborative learning platform show better improvements in understanding Islamic religious concepts and academic achievement in general. In addition, they also show higher levels of learning motivation and more active participation in learning. The conclusion of this research explains that the integration of online collaborative learning platforms in Islamic Religious Education learning has a positive impact on students, especially on students' academic achievement and learning motivation. This shows that the use of technology in the context of the Islamic religion can be an effective means of improving the quality of learning. Therefore, this research provides an important contribution to understanding the potential of technology in increasing the effectiveness of Islamic religious learning and emphasizes the importance of technology adoption in the context of Islamic religious education

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to produce a Tahsin Tracker application as a tool to overcome several problems in managing tahsin guidance organized by the Islamic Studies and Development Institute (LPSI) UAD for lecturers and education staff.Design/method/approach: The method used in system development by applying general software development methods. The stages adopted include data collection, needs analysis (user and system), design (process, database and interface), implementation (database and program, and system testing.Results: A Mobile Web-based Tahsin Tracker application has been produced and has been tested on potential users using black box and SUS testing. Black box testing is 100% valid. The SUS test obtained a score of 79. Based on the SUS score of 79, the application is in the Acceptance Range: ACCEPTABLE, Grade Scale: C, and Adjective Rating: EXCELLENT category.Originality/state of the art: Based on previous research, as well as the results of the development of existing tahsin applications, this research adopts and complements existing deficiencies and produces new assessments of the features and usability in related units, because it replaces the manual method of book record basis, and becomes the main alternative for developing institutional service media in a better direction.

Abstract

Purpose – This study explores the comprehension of students from Muhammadiyah higher education institutions concerning Indonesia's multiculturalism and its distinct ethnic, religious, racial, and intergroup diversities, termed SARA, esteemed as national assets. Design/methods/approach – Utilizing a qualitative approach, data was assimilated from a literature review, focused group discussions (FGD) of [specific number, if available], comprehensive observations at Ahmad Dahlan University in Yogyakarta, in-depth interviews with purposively selected informants, and examination of pertinent documents. Findings – Preliminary findings suggest an underdeveloped understanding of multiculturalism among the students, frequently leading to misconceptions. Rather than being viewed as an inclusive concept, multiculturalism is often perceived as threatening to certain religious adherents. Specifically, minority sects like Shia and Ahmadiyya are perceived with apprehension. This knowledge gap can be attributed to limited discourse by UAD lecturers, predominantly homogeneous student interactions, and a lack of engagement with multicultural literature. Research implications – The observations from this research underscore the need to enhance SARA-oriented educational strategies at higher learning institutions. Implementing comprehensive multicultural education can pave the way for mutual respect and appreciation of SARA diversity, especially within Muhammadiyah Higher Education Institutions (PTM). Notably, the research's scope is restricted to Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta, which might not necessarily represent other Muhammadiyah academic environments.
