Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of Local Revenue (PAD) and Balancing Funds on Regional Financial Independence with Capital Expenditure as a mediating variable in Payakumbuh City. This study is based on the high fiscal dependence of the Payakumbuh City Government on transfer income from the central government, although PAD has shown an increasing trend in recent years. The data shows that the average ratio of regional financial independence is still relatively low, which is 18.26%, while the average financial dependence ratio reaches 80.61%. The method used is quantitative analysis to see the direct and indirect effects between variables using SEM-PLS. The results of the study show that PAD has a significant positive effect on financial independence, while balancing funds have a significant negative effect. Capital expenditure does not mediate the effect of PAD on independence but negatively mediates the effect of balancing funds on independence. These findings indicate that the allocation of capital expenditure has not been effective in increasing fiscal independence and the need to increase the effectiveness of PAD and optimise capital expenditure to reduce fiscal dependence on the central government.

Abstract

Persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat menuntut perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan menerapkan etika bisnis Islam guna menciptakan kepuasan konsumen. Meskipun CV. Grahasindo Media Cakrawala Payakumbuh telah menjadi penyedia barang dan jasa pemerintah melalui E-Katalog dan INAPROC, peningkatan omzet perusahaan setelah pandemi masih relatif rendah. Kondisi tersebut diduga dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pelayanan dan penerapan etika bisnis Islam yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan etika bisnis Islam terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada CV. Grahasindo Media Cakrawala Payakumbuh. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh konsumen CV. Grahasindo Media Cakrawala dengan teknik insidental sampling sebanyak 60 responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, , kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen, etika bisnis Islam juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen, serta kedua variabel secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 72,9%. Dengan demikian, peningkatan kualitas pelayanan yang didukung penerapan etika bisnis Islam secara konsisten mampu meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen pada CV. Grahasindo Media Cakrawala Payakumbuh.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of store atmosphere on impulse buying which is moderated by mashlahah factor. This research tries to investigate the role of mashlahah factor in affecting relationship between store atmosphere and impulse buying. The study population is all visitors of fashion retail stores in Bukittinggi. Sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling method, final sample counted 152 respondents. The study used a moderated regression analysis (MRA) tool with the SPSS program to test the hypothesis.The findings showed that store atmosphere variable positively affect the impulse buying. The results also prove the mashlahah factor negatively moderating the relationship between store atmosphere and impulse buying.

Abstract

This research attempts to analyze the effect of religiosity and culture on purchasing decisions in buying cafe food in Bukittinggi partially or simultaneously. The design of this study is quantitative correlational. The population is Muslim teenagers in the city of Bukittinggi. The sample of this study was Muslim teenagers in the Bukit Tinggi town who bought cafe food. Furthermore, the determination of the sample to be used as the respondent was done by purposive sampling, by taking and selecting Muslim adolescents in Bukittinggi as respondents.Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: partially Religiosity and Culture have a positive effect on purchasing decisions in buying cafe food, while Religiosity and Culture simultaneously influence purchasing decisions in buying cafe food where the contribution of the determination coefficient (R Square) is 38.8% and the remaining 61.2% is influenced by other variables which are not included in this similarity regression or variables not examined.

Abstract

 This research is due to the problems in Jorong Batu Limbak related to the problem of making the cotton industry. For the people of Jorong Batu Limbak, the kapok handicraft industry is an industrial activity that must be developed so that people's economic resilience can be increased. This industry initially only processed cottonwood, but in its development there was a business making casual mattresses, dolls and others. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the creativity of the kapok industrial product creativity on the economic resilience of the community in Jorong Batu Limbak. The research method used in this study is field research with a quantitative approach. The sample of this research is cotton entrepreneurs who innovate and creativity in the cotton industry. technical analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. these findings reveal that Innovation and Creativity in the Kapok Industry in Jorong Batu Limbak have a significant influence on the economic resilience of the community as evidenced by the results of multiple linear regression Y = 12,962 + 0,22X1 + 0,628X2 + e. There is a positive influence between Product Innovation and product creativity on Community Economic Security, which is 51.2%

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of service quality on community satisfaction in motor vehicle testing services at the Department of Transportation of Bukittinggi City. Despite the increasing demand for public services, empirical evidence on how multidimensional service quality influences user satisfaction in the context of mandatory vehicle testing remains limited, particularly in local government settings. This research addresses this gap by employing a quantitative explanatory design, conceptualizing service quality through five dimensions: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Data were collected from 100 service users using a structured and validated questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that all dimensions of service quality have a positive and statistically significant effect on community satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. The model explains 76.8% of the variance in community satisfaction (R² = 0.768), indicating strong explanatory power. Among the dimensions, responsiveness emerges as the most influential factor, highlighting the critical role of prompt and adaptive service delivery in shaping user perceptions. This study contributes to the public service literature by providing empirical evidence on the relative importance of service quality dimensions in a regulatory service context. Practically, the findings suggest that improving responsiveness and reliability should be prioritized to enhance service effectiveness and sustain public trust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the independence ratio, effectiveness ratio, and efficiency ratio on the financial performance of regency and municipal governments in West Sumatra Province during the 2021–2024 period. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Regional Budget Realization Reports published by the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK), Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The sample consists of 10 regency and municipal governments selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 40 observations. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS, preceded by classical assumption tests and followed by t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination analysis. The results show that the independence ratio has a negative and significant effect on financial performance, while the effectiveness ratio has no significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, the efficiency ratio has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Simultaneously, the independence ratio, effectiveness ratio, and efficiency ratio have a significant effect on local government financial performance. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.906 indicates that the three independent variables explain 90.6% of the variation in financial performance, while the remaining 9.4% is explained by other factors outside the research model.
