Abstract

Motivation plays a very important role in determining athlete performance. This achievement does not happen instantly, but requires sacrifice, hard work and consistent dedication from the athlete. Athletes who have quality human resources are more likely to overcome obstacles and achieve high achievements. This research aims to analyze the influence of the quality of human resources, athlete psychology on sports performance with achievement motivation as a moderating variable. The population in this study were outstanding athletes in Payakumbuh City. This research uses quantitative methods with primary data in the form of a questionnaire with a total research sample of 80 respondents taken based on sampling techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis of various Partial Least Square (PLS) variants. Measurement model or outer model, structural model test or inner model, and hypothesis testing with the help of Smart-PLS 4.0 software as a testing tool. The results of this study show that the quality of human resources has a positive and significant effect on athlete performance, athlete psychology has a positive but not significant effect on athlete achievement. Meanwhile, achievement motivation has a negative and significant effect, moderating the influence of human resource quality on athlete achievement, and achievement motivation has a positive but not significant effect, moderating the influence of athlete psychology on athlete achievement. Keywords: Quality of Human Resources, Athlete Psychology, Athlete Achievement, Achievement Motivation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Cash Budgeting, Budgetary Administration Implementation, and Compliance of SKPD Financial Managers on the effectiveness of Budget Expenditure Absorption in the Padang Panjang City Government. The issue of low budget absorption remains a recurring and significant concern each year. This phenomenon is evident in the disparity between actual budget absorption and the ideal projection based on quarterly, semi-annual, and year-end periods. Cash budgeting, the process of budgetary administration, and the compliance of SKPD financial managers are considered crucial factors in enhancing budget absorption at the local government level. This research is pertinent to assist SKPDs in Padang Panjang City in evaluating the challenges hindering optimal budget absorption. The study employs a quantitative method to analyze data through a descriptive approach. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS), with the research population comprising all SKPDs in Padang Panjang City and a sample size of 50 units. The findings reveal that Cash Budgeting and Compliance of SKPD Financial Managers have a positive and significant impact on budget expenditure absorption, while Budgetary Administration Implementation demonstrates a positive but insignificant effect.

Abstract

Abstract: Investment decisions and financing decisions are financial decisions taken by a manager that affect the value of the company. In the industrial sector, manufacturing companies experience a problem, namely the value of the company, which sometimes increases, sometimes decreases, and even always decreases. In fact, maximising company value is very important for a company because maximising company value also means maximising the main objectives of the company. This study aims to test the effect of investment and financing decisions on company value in consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research population is consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2020-2021. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique, and 58 samples were obtained. The analysis test tool used is SmartPLS 3.0. with the SEM (Structural Education Modelling) analysis method. The test results of this study indicate that investment decisions affect company value as well as investment decisions affect company value. Abstract

Using the exchange rate as a moderator, this study aims to analyze the relationship between profitability, credit risk (as assessed by nonperforming loans), liquidity risk (as measured by loan default rates), and market risk (as measured by net interest margin) in banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Banks that will be trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020 and 2022 are the subject of this study. For our investigation, we employ a purposive sample strategy. Panel data regression, which integrates cross-sectional and time series data, is applied to the data in Eviews 10 software. The results of the test, which use the Random Effect Model method, demonstrate that the NPL, LDR, and NIM variables all have an impact on Return On Assets at the same time, as evidenced by a Prob value (F-Statistic) of 0.0000 <0.05. Positive effects on ROA are produced by the NIM variable. Nevertheless, the LDR and NIM variables have a negative impact on ROA. The study found that NPL, LDR, and NIM add up to 22.68% of ROA. In the fiscal years 2020–2022, there was no indication from the interaction test that the exchange rate modifies the effect of non-investment margins, non-performing loans, and non-investment credit on return on assets (ROA) for Indonesia Stock Exchange-listed banks

Abstract

The company's going concern ability should be able to compete and survive in business activities to avoid financial distress. This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual capital performance, company achievement, company reputation, profitability, and leverage on financial distress. This study uses samples from manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The sample used was 125 observations taken using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the performance of intellectual capital and profitability had a negative effect on financial distress and leverage had a positive effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, company achievement and company reputation have no effect on financial distress. Keywords: Intellectual Capital Performance; Company Achievement; Company Reputation; Financial Distress.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implikasi Sistem Aplikasi Keuangan Tingkat Instansi (SAKTI) dalam penatausahaan anggaran operasional di Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Bukittinggi. SAKTI sebagai sistem keuangan digital terintegrasi menggantikan berbagai aplikasi sebelumnya dan mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga pertanggungjawaban anggaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa SAKTI meningkatkan efisiensi dan akuntabilitas, mempermudah pelaporan keuangan, mempercepat proses, serta mendorong transparansi melalui fitur audit trail dan akses berbasis peran. Aplikasi ini juga memperkuat kapasitas SDM dan mencegah penyimpangan anggaran. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi mencakup beban server tinggi dan keterbatasan kompetensi operator. Pelatihan teknis dan dukungan manajerial menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan implementasi. Secara keseluruhan, SAKTI mendukung tata kelola keuangan yang lebih efisien dan transparan dalam transformasi digital sektor pemerintahan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and test the influence of competence, professionalism on performance with work culture as a moderating variable at the Payakumbuh City Youth and Sports Tourism Office. This type of research is quantitative research. This sample is all employees of the Payakumbuh City Tourism, Youth and Sports Department. The sampling method uses the census method, where all members of the population are used as research samples. This research uses primary data obtained through questionnaires delivered directly to all employees of the Payakumbuh City Tourism, Youth and Sports Department totaling 62 questionnaires and all respondents returned the questionnaires. The data was processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using the SmartPLS application. The research results show that competence has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Then other results show that professionalism has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Competency which is moderated by work culture has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, professionalism moderated by work culture has a positive and insignificant effect on the performance of employees of the Payakumbuh City Tourism, Youth and Sports Department.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of product diversity, pricing, and product quality on consumer purchasing decisions in a traditional household retail context, focusing on Store Pecah Belah Anugrah in Bukit Tinggi, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, the research utilized primary and secondary data gathered through questionnaires, interviews, and observations from a sample of 100 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, regression model feasibility assessments, descriptive statistics, and binary logistic regression. The findings reveal that both product diversity and product quality exert a significant and positive influence on consumer purchasing decisions, while price demonstrates a negative and statistically insignificant impact. The logistic regression model established that product diversity (Exp(B) = 1.234, p < 0.01) is the most dominant factor influencing consumer choice, indicating that greater product variety enhances the likelihood of purchase by 23.4%. Product quality also showed a significant positive effect (Exp(B) = 1.198, p < 0.05), suggesting that consumers value functional and aesthetic attributes in household goods. Conversely, price (Exp(B) = 0.989, p > 0.05) was not a decisive factor, implying that perceived value, driven by assortment and quality, supersedes price sensitivity in this market segment. The study extends existing consumer behavior theories by affirming that productrelated attributes, especially diversity and quality, are pivotal in traditional retail contexts in developing regions. Practically, the results suggest that retailers should prioritize enhancing product assortments and maintaining quality standards over engaging in price-based competition. These insights have strategic implications for SME retail development and consumer satisfaction in non-metropolitan settings.

Abstract

Professional human resources, compliance with procedures, and high work discipline are the main keys to achieving optimal organisational performance, including in the Tanjung Pati District Court. Problems related to professional ethics, compliance with SOPs, and employee discipline indicate the need for further analysis to determine the influence of these factors on employee performance as a whole. This study aims to analyse the influence of professional ethics and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on employee performance, with work discipline as an intervening variable at the Tanjung Pati District Court. The study was conducted at the Tanjung Pati District Court with a sample of 42 respondents. The method used is a quantitative approach with the SEM-PLS analysis technique. The results of the study indicate that professional ethics have a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance and work discipline. Conversely, compliance with SOPs is proven to have a positive and significant effect on performance and work discipline. Work discipline also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. As an intervening variable, work discipline is unable to mediate the effect of professional ethics on performance but is able to mediate the effect of compliance with SOPs on employee performance. This finding confirms that compliance with SOPs and improving work discipline are key factors in improving employee performance in the judicial environment

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of Local Revenue (PAD) and Balancing Funds on Regional Financial Independence with Capital Expenditure as a mediating variable in Payakumbuh City. This study is based on the high fiscal dependence of the Payakumbuh City Government on transfer income from the central government, although PAD has shown an increasing trend in recent years. The data shows that the average ratio of regional financial independence is still relatively low, which is 18.26%, while the average financial dependence ratio reaches 80.61%. The method used is quantitative analysis to see the direct and indirect effects between variables using SEM-PLS. The results of the study show that PAD has a significant positive effect on financial independence, while balancing funds have a significant negative effect. Capital expenditure does not mediate the effect of PAD on independence but negatively mediates the effect of balancing funds on independence. These findings indicate that the allocation of capital expenditure has not been effective in increasing fiscal independence and the need to increase the effectiveness of PAD and optimise capital expenditure to reduce fiscal dependence on the central government.
