Abstract

menghadapi tantangan dalam manajemen kehadiran karyawan dan pengelolaan akomodasi, dengan tim yang padat akan kegiatan operasional perusahaan menerapkan kebijakan absensi harian serta proses reimbursement yang teratur namun hal ini terkendala karena proses pelaksanaan nya masih bersifat konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah sistem aplikasi manajemen karyawan agar mempermudah proses pelaksanaan pencatatan manajemen karyawan di lingkungan operasional PT Zona Kreatif Indonesia yang produktif, metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni pengumpulan data ibservasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dan untuk metode pengembangan sistem aplikasi nya menggunakan metode waterfall, alat bantu perancangan sistem ini menggunakan Usecase Diagram, Acrivity Diagram serta perancangan dabase menggunakan Entity Relationalship Diagram (ERD). Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan yaitu Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) dan database yang digunakan yaitu MySql, metode pengujuan menggunakan blackbox testing yang mana sistem nantinya diharapkan dapat membantu dalam kegiatan manajemen kegiatan sehari hari di PT Zona Kreatif Indonesia, dengan seperti itu system ini menjadi media prosedur baru yang memberikan kerapihan dalam penggunaan nya

Abstract

Self-medication practice can result in medication errors due to limited public knowledge of pharmaceutical medicine, especially among school-aged adolescents, who are prohibited from doing self-medication. This study aimed to evaluate the students' knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical medicine, pharmacists, and self-medication, and also the awareness to be wise and smart in responding to the use of pharmaceutical products for maintaining public health. The study was carried out by conducting the lecture on drugs and self-medication through a classical presentation and comic story to students of SDN Keputih 245 Elementary School and SMPN 19 Junior High School, Surabaya. Moreover, DAGUSIBU dance was also practiced. The students actively engaged in the class during the presentation. The results of the pre-and post-test evaluations showed that this lecture method had succeeded in increasing junior high school students' knowledge about medicine and DAGUSIBU. On the other hand, the pre-test scores of Elementary School students were better than the post-test, except for new knowledge related to the drug logo and classification. It suggests that the delivery methods were inappropriate for elementary school students. It can be concluded that school-age adolescents, especially in elementary and junior high schools, need assistance during self-medication. This community service activity by a presentation and comic telling methods successfully improved the knowledge of SMPN 19 Junior High School about drugs and DAGUSIBU; however, it needs a more straightforward explanation with attractive learning methods for delivering a lecture to Elementary School students.

Abstract

Background: Many chronic diseases that occur in society can be caused by free radicals. Excessive free radicals in the body can contribute to oxidative stress. Therefore, the role of antioxidants in needed to inhibit the effects of free radicals. Lime (Citrus aurantifolia) is a plant that contains several active compounds. The lime juice was reported to contain flavonoids and ascorbic acid which have several bioactivities including antioxidants. Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the chemical compounds and determine antioxidant activity in the lime juice powder of lime fruit collected from Ujung Pangkah, Gresik. Material and Methods: Lime was squeezed and dried by a freeze-dryer to remove the water content. The phytochemical profile of lime juice powder was evaluated by thin layer chromatography (TLC) method and ascorbic acid content in lime juice powder was determined further. The antioxidant activity was analyzed using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH) method. Results: The results of the study showed that lime juice powder contained flavonoids, saponins, terpenoids, and steroids. The ascorbic acid content was 0.38 mg/100mg. Antioxidant activities revealed strong antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 32.59 mg/mL, while an IC50 value of ascorbic acid showed 8.57 mg/mL. Conclusions: Lime juice powder has potential as an antioxidant with an IC50 value of lime juice powder being categorized to possess very strong antioxidant activity.

Abstract

Significant development in antibacterial agents derived from metal nanoparticles is currently underway. One commonly employed type is silver nanoparticles (AgNPs), which display potential antibacterial activity at lower concentrations compared to other metals. Due to their high surface-to-volume ratio and small size, AgNPs can readily penetrate bacterial cell walls. Green synthesis methods of AgNPs, such as utilizing plants as reducing agents, offer substantial advantages over other synthesis techniques. Lime (Citrus aurantifolia), containing compounds like flavonoids and saponins, can serve as a natural reducing agent, converting Ag+ ions to Ag0. This study aims to evaluate the effects of AgNO3 concentration, lime juice powder concentration, and pH on the formation and characteristics of AgNPs, as well as their activity against the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli. Results indicate that at an AgNO3 concentration of 1 mM, lime juice extract at 1% with a pH of 9 produces optimal AgNP formation, with an absorbance of 4.631 and particle size of 68.4 nm. AgNPs exhibit higher antibacterial activity than AgNO3. AgNPs synthesized with lime juice powder can increase their activity and have the advantages of being safe and environmentally friendly since they use plant material as a reducing agent.

Abstract

Vitamin Blackmores adalah produk vitamin yang terkenal di seluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Untuk meningkatkan penjualan produk ini, perusahaan perlu memahami pola penjualan yang ada agar dapat mengambil keputusan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Salah satu cara untuk memahami pola penjualan adalah dengan menggunakan teknik data mining. Permasalahan perusahaan sering menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami pola penjualan vitamin Blackmores karena data penjualan yang besar dan kompleks. Tanpa pemahaman yang tepat tentang pola penjualan, perusahaan mungkin salah dalam menentukan strategi pemasaran yang efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan teknik data mining dalam menentukan pola penjualan vitamin Blackmores. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah algoritma Association Rule dan Clustering. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data penjualan vitamin Blackmores selama satu tahun. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik data mining untuk mengidentifikasi pola penjualan dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penjualan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah model pola penjualan vitamin Blackmores yang dibuat menggunakan teknik data mining. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi pola penjualan dan membantu perusahaan dalam mengambil keputusan untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga berhasil mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penjualan vitamin Blackmores, seperti lokasi penjualan, waktu penjualan, dan jenis vitamin Blackmores yang terjual.

Abstract

The development of nanotechnology in the world is very rapid, and the applications of nanotechnology can be felt in various fields in everyday life. For instance, to control food, nanotechnology plays a role in creating early detection tools for food additives, which are known to be dangerous if consumed by humans in excess, such as the presence of colorants that are not permitted or food additives that exceed tolerance limits. Nanosensors based on screen print electrodes (SPE) are devices that can be used for detection with various notable properties such as fast, sensitive and portable. Seeing the importance of developing and down streaming nanotechnology to society, education regarding the role of nanotechnology needs to be carried out. In this activity, nanotechnology applied in the manufacture of nanosensor devices was introduced, especially to analysts at the drug and food control center and the health service. Apart from that, through this activity, sustainable collaboration can be established between the community service team who are researchers in the field of nanosensors and users in the field who are drug and food regulatory bodies, to develop nanosensor technology according to needs in the field. This activity will be carried out in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, specifically aimed at pharmacists and analysts in the drug and food control center, health service, and industry and trade service (Disperindag). This activity will include education about nanotechnology applications in various fields as well as a demonstration on the use of SPE-based naosensor devices. From this event, in future the analyst may do the analysis in field without waiting long time analysis in laboratory. From this community service activities, scientific articles and publications can be produced in print/electronic media, as well as videos of community service activities, in accordance with the main performance indicators determined nationally.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, kebutuhan akan platform digital semakin meningkat, termasuk dalam pengelolaan administrasi di tingkat lokal seperti Rukun Tetangga (RT) dan Rukun Warga (RW). RT/RW memainkan peran penting dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat, namun sering menghadapi masalah dalam proses administratif yang masih manual dan memakan waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen RT berbasis web guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan administrasi. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan metode Waterfall untuk memastikan pengerjaan secara terstruktur dan sesuai dengan desain, dengan bahasa pemrograman TypeScript, Tailwind, NodeJs dan database PostgreSQL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dikembangkan mampu mempercepat proses pembuatan surat resmi, memudahkan pengelolaan data warga, dan meningkatkan transparansi dalam penanganan pengaduan masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa sistem informasi berbasis web memungkinkan pencatatan yang lebih rapi, memudahkan pengurus RT dalam mengolah laporan keuangan secara transparan, dan memberikan kemudahan bagi warga dalam mengajukan permohonan surat-menyurat, sehingga menghemat waktu dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik di tingkat lokal

Abstract

Pembelajaran tatap muka secara offline bagi pelajar sudah dimulai kembali setelah pandemi Covid-19 melanda Indonesia. Sejak pandemi ditetapkan WHO tanggal 11 Maret 2020, telah menyebabkan 5.956.561 orang terkonfirmasi positif dan sebanyak 153.599 orang meninggal dunia (per 21 Maret 2022) di Indonesia. Kembalinya proses belajar mengajar ke kondisi normal perlu diantisipasi dengan kesadaran dan tanggung jawab siswa terhadap protokol kesehatan yang dianjurkan pemerintah. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa SMPN tentang pola hidup sehat dalam upaya menjaga kesehatan pasca pandemi Covid-19. Dalam program ini siswa didorong untuk menerapkan pola hidup sehat diantaranya dengan senantiasa menjaga kebersihan tangan dan menjaga daya tahan tubuh. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dalam bentuk webinar dengan platform zoom diikuti oleh 59 siswa dari SMPN 1 Magetan dan diberikan dalam bentuk pre-test dan post-test, ceramah, diskusi dan pembuatan e-poster. Hasil kuesioner yang diberikan kepada peserta sebelum kegiatan diketahui 100% siswa telah mendapatkan vaksinasi dosis dua, 100 % siswa setuju proses pembelajaran pasca pandemi dilakukan secara luring, 100% siswa setuju mengikuti protokol kesehatan selama mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah, 73,58% siswa selalu menggunakan masker, 35,85% siswa mencuci tangan sebelum masuk sekolah, 41,51% siswa menjaga jarak dengan temannya, dan 1,89% siswa menderita penyakit infeksi Covid-19 selama proses pembelajaran luring pasca pandemi. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan berupa pre-test dan post test serta pembuatan e-poster diketahui terdapat peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang disampaikan dan semua peserta menyatakan setuju materi pola hidup sehat yang disampaikan dapat diaplikasikan dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran di sekolah. ABSTRACT Offline face-to-face learning for students has started again after the Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia. Since the pandemic was declared by WHO on March 11 2020, it has resulted in 5,956,561 people being confirmed positive and 153,599 people dying (as of March 21 2022) in Indonesia. The return of the teaching and learning process to normal conditions needs to be anticipated with students' awareness and responsibility for the health protocols recommended by the government. The aim of this activity is to increase understanding and awareness of junior high school students about healthy lifestyles in an effort to maintain health after the Covid-19 pandemic. In this program, students are encouraged to adopt a healthy lifestyle, including always keeping their hands clean and maintaining their immune system. Community service was carried out in the form of a webinar with a zoom platform attended by 59 students from SMPN 1 Magetan and given in the form of pre-test and post-tests, lectures, discussions and making e-posters. The results of the questionnaire given to participants before the activity showed that 100% of students had received the second dose of vaccination, 100% of students agreed that the post-pandemic learning process would be carried out offline, 100% of students agreed to follow health protocols while participating in learning activities at school, 73.58% of students always wearing masks, 35.85% of students washing their hands before entering school, 41.51% of students keeping their distance from their friends, and 1.89% of students suffering from Covid-19 infection during the post-pandemic offline learning process. The results of the evaluation of activities in the form of pre-test and post-tests and making e-posters showed that there was an increase in students' understanding of the material presented and all participants agreed that the healthy lifestyle material presented could be applied in following the learning process at school. Abstract

Kepuasan pengguna website merupakan hal penting untuk menjadi tolak ukur bagi lembaga pendidikan. SD Xaverius C Ambon ingin meningkatkan kualitas website yang ada sehingga pengguna semakin puas dan banyak melakukan pencarian informasi, interaksi, fitur-fitur mudah dipahami dan koneksi stabil melalui website resmi sekolahdasarxaveriuscambon.sch.id, namun sampai saat ini SD Xaverius C Ambon belum mengetahui kekurangan dari website SD Xaverius C Ambon sehingga membutuhkan evaluasi untuk mengetahui kualitas website dan tingkat kepuasan pengguna. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengevaluasi hubungan kepuasan pengguna dengan menggunaan metode webqual 4.0. Populasi dan sampel penelitian diambil dari siswa, guru, dan orang tua di SD Xaverius C Ambon yang menggunakan website. Perhitungan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS. Berdasarkan tabel uji t, kualitas kegunaan dan kualitas informasi memberikan pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna sebesar -0.870, -0.852 dan kualitas interaksi layanan memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna sebesar 34,151. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa website SD Xaverius C Ambon berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pengguna dari segi kualitas kegunaan, kualitas informasi, dan kualitas interaksi layanan

Abstract

The diterpene lactone fraction of Andrographis paniculata Nees (sambiloto) (FDTLS) main compound is andrographolide. Andrographolide has poor bioavailability, high lipophilicity, and low solubility. Entrapping poorly soluble substances into a hydrophilic polymer, such as chitosan, could improve their dissolution, bioavailability, and activity. The purposes of this study were to improve the FDTLS dissolution and to compare the effect of different amounts of chitosan on physical characteristics, entrapment efficiency, and FDTLS release from nanoparticles, which was made by the ionic gelation-spray drying method using tripolyphosphate as a crosslinker. The nanoparticles were prepared with different FDTLS-chitosan ratios = 1:2 (FK1), 1:2.5 (FK2) and 1:3 (FK3). The nanoparticles were evaluated for its morphology, physical state using differential thermal analysis (DTA), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), entrapment efficiency, and drug release. All the nanoparticles' formulas had a spherical shape and FK2 showed the smoothest surface with the highest enthalpy. FDTLS-chitosan nanoparticles diffractogram showed a more amorphous form. The FDTLS-chitosan nanoparticles entrapment efficiency was 29.01-32.69%. The FDTLS-chitosan nanoparticles showed an increased dissolution rate by 1.6 times compared to the FDTLS substance. The study concludes that the formation of nanoparticles using chitosan by ionic gelation-spray dry method could improve the dissolution of FDTLS.
