Abstract

Gigi mempunyai banyak fungsi pada manusia salah satunya adalah untuk pengunyahan. Kehilangan gigi menyebabkan beberapa kondisi yang kurang baik, antara lain: ekstrusi gigi antagonis, migrasi gigi, rotasi gigi, gangguan sendi temporo mandibular joint, beban berlebih pada jaringan pendukung, menurunnya fungsi bicara, dan menurunnya relasi maksila dan mandibular,sehinggamembutuhkanperawatan.Seorangpasienwanitaberusia49tahundatang ke RSGM Soelastri mengeluhkan kehilangan banyak gigi dan membuatnya tidak nyaman ketika makan. Diagnosis pada kasus ini adalah edentulous pada gigi 37, 46, dan 47. Klasifikasi Applegate Kennedy Klas I. Perawatan yang dilakukan adalah gigitiruansebagianlepasan(GTSL)dengan bahanresinakrilik.Perawatangigitiruansebagianlepasan bertujuan untuk mengembalikan fungsi pengunyahan, estetis, bicara, membantu mempertahankan gigi yang tersisa, memperbaiki oklusi, serta mempertahankan jaringan lunak mulut yang masihada.

Abstract

Saat ini penggunaan Teknologi Informasi di masyarakat sudah menjadi hal sehari- hari yang digunakan, tetapi pengetahuan mengenai ICT belum semua masyarakat mengetahuinya secara maksimal. Dosen dan PPPM (Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat) Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer Nusa Mandiri ingin melakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan tema Pelatihan Dasar Animasi Menggunakan Macromedia Flash Pro 8.0 Untuk Warga RT.010 Mampang Prapatan Jakarta Selatan. Kami selaku Dosen dan PPPM (Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat) Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer Nusa Mandiri ingin melakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada Anak-anak warga RT.010 Mampang Prapatan Jakarta Selatan dengan tema Pembelajaran Design Animasi Menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8.0 Untuk Anak-Anak Warga Dilingkungan RT.010 Mampang Prapatan Jakarta Selatan agar memiliki kemampuan membuat suatu animasi interaktif. Kemampuan dalam membuat animasi ini dapat menjadi modal mereka untuk dapat bersaing di era globalisasi ini.

Abstract

Self-medication practice can result in medication errors due to limited public knowledge of pharmaceutical medicine, especially among school-aged adolescents, who are prohibited from doing self-medication. This study aimed to evaluate the students' knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical medicine, pharmacists, and self-medication, and also the awareness to be wise and smart in responding to the use of pharmaceutical products for maintaining public health. The study was carried out by conducting the lecture on drugs and self-medication through a classical presentation and comic story to students of SDN Keputih 245 Elementary School and SMPN 19 Junior High School, Surabaya. Moreover, DAGUSIBU dance was also practiced. The students actively engaged in the class during the presentation. The results of the pre-and post-test evaluations showed that this lecture method had succeeded in increasing junior high school students' knowledge about medicine and DAGUSIBU. On the other hand, the pre-test scores of Elementary School students were better than the post-test, except for new knowledge related to the drug logo and classification. It suggests that the delivery methods were inappropriate for elementary school students. It can be concluded that school-age adolescents, especially in elementary and junior high schools, need assistance during self-medication. This community service activity by a presentation and comic telling methods successfully improved the knowledge of SMPN 19 Junior High School about drugs and DAGUSIBU; however, it needs a more straightforward explanation with attractive learning methods for delivering a lecture to Elementary School students.

Abstract

Ulasan dari pengguna merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung dalam menentukan sebuah keputusan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dengan banyaknya ulasan positif akan berbanding lurus dengan banyaknya pengguna aplikasi. Penelitian ini melakukan eksperimen dengan melakukan analisis sentiment terhadap pengguna aplikasi Instagram di Google Play Store menggunakan Support Vector Machine.Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh parameter C dan gamma pada  hasil akurasi analisis sentimen terhadap Instagram di Google Play Store  dengan metode Support Vector Machine (SVM) menggunakan kernel Linear, Sigmoid, Polynomial dan RBF. Tahapan pada penelitian ini yaitu crawling data, preprocessing, transformation, modeling, evaluasi dan wordcloud. Banyaknya data pada penelitian ini yaitu 10.000  ulasan. Preprocessing yang dilakukan yaitu filtering, labeling, tokenizing, stopword dan stemming. Pada tahap modeling dilakukan dengan membagi dua bagian yaitu data latih dan data uji, dengan membuat 2 model setelah itu dilakukan pengujian kernel SVM yaitu linier, Polinomial, sigmoid dan RBF dengan parameter C:1 dan gamma 1. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan nilai akurasi tertinggi berada pada Model 2 dengan kernel RBF dengan nilai 0.745.

Abstract

Fitur fitur submit Customer Application Form (CAF) pada Project Management Information System (PMIS) berperan penting dalam proses administrasi proyek dan membutuhkan integrasi data dari berbagai pihak, termasuk vendor eksternal. Dilakukan analisis terhadap pengguna fitur submit CAF untuk mengetahui seberapa puas pengguna ketika berinteraksi dengan fitur submit CAF. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS). Responden pada analisis ini sebanyak 30 orang yang telah menggunakan fitur submit CAF minimal tiga kali, dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Semua item kuesioner dinyatakan valid (r-hitung > r-tabel; sig < 0,05) dan reliabel (α = 0,773) . Hasil dari penelitian ini mendapatkan nilai skor SUS 62.5 dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi submit customer application form (CAF) di platform project management information system (PMIS) masih perlu adanya perbaikan kualitas aplikasi karena masih dinyatakan margin high untuk predikat (grade) D. Aplikasi submit CAF di platform PMIS dinilai masih belum usable karena masih diperlukan bantuan tambahan, terdapat potensi inkonsistensi dalam sistem, dan adanya sedikit keraguan terhadap efektivitas keseluruhan sistem.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is used to analyze reviews of a place or item from an application or website that then classified the review into positive reviews or negative reviews. reviews from users are considered very important because it contains information that can make it easier for new users who want to choose the right digital payment. Reviews about digital payment ovo are so much that it is difficult for prospective users of ovo digital payment applications to draw conclusions about ovo digital payment information. For this reason, a classification method is needed in this study using support vector machine and PSO methods. In this study, we used 400 data that were reduced to 200 positive reviews and 200 negative reviews. The accuracy obtained by using the support vector machine method of 76.50% is in the fair classification, while the accuracy obtained by using the support vector machine and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method is 82.75% which is in good classification.

Abstract

Nanotechnology sensor is one of technology that could support biomedicine developments, including in the pharmaceutical field. Highly sensitive sensor having ability to detect various pharmaceutical substances as well as components in the food have have been developed, including the so-called nanosensor based screen printed electrode, using nanomaterial boron doped diamond (BDD). This nanosensor could replace conventional sensing technology that is considered still have several drawbacks such as inefficient routes and time consuming, as well as high cost. A nanosensor-based screen printed electrode was developed and implemented for detection of pharmaceutical substances, including drugs. In this opportunity, this community service program disseminated nanosensor technology to pharmacists and food and drug assessors at BBPOM Denpasar, Bali. The program is conducted via short course and practical case on how to use the nanosensor that already developed in the laboratory. The community service program is started with pretest about sensor and nanotechnology, followed by course, practical case, and lastly, the post-test. The post-test results showed a highly positive response, with 71% of participants reporting very high interest, 66% expressing very high satisfaction, and the majority indicating that the activity was relevant, beneficial, and worth recommending. These community service activities are expected to facilitate the broader implementation of nanosensor technology in drug and food assessments. Hopefully, this technology could be spreadly used by the the pharmacies and stake holders who have the right for doing drug and food assessements, not only in Denpasar but also in other cities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Soybeans, yardlong beans and peanuts are cultivated crops widely grown in the tropics at different altitudes. Differences in environmental factors between lowlands and highlands will affect plant growth and leaf anatomical structure. The study aimed to determine the growth and anatomical structure of the leaves of soybean, yardlong bean and peanut plants at different altitudes. The test plants were grown at two different altitudes. At an altitude of ± 20 masl, the test plants were placed in the greenhouse of the Biology Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Tadulako University and at an altitude of ± 630 masl, the test plants were placed in Bahagia Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency. The results showed that yardlong bean and peanut plants grown at an altitude of ± 630 masl had a lower stomatal density than those grown at ± 20 masl so the plant dry weight produced was also lower. Soybean plants have a larger stem diameter and plant dry weight at an altitude of ± 630 masl, these are due to the higher stomatal density and leaf thickness compared to those grown at an altitude of ± 20 masl.

Abstract

Abstract Health is a condition of physical, mental, spiritual, and social prosperity that allows a person to live a productive life (Law No. 36/2009). Knowledge of drugs is important for the public to avoid the use of counterfeit and illegal drugs, which according to the WHO includes drugs without active ingredients, different ingredients, or with strength that does not match the label. The Community Service Program has been carried out to increase public knowledge, primarily through the role of women, about the dosage form, packaging, safety, and stability of drugs. The activity was carried out using a lecture and discussion method and involved 45 participants from 17 women's organizations in the Magetan area. The results showed that this program succeeded in increasing participants' understanding of drug dosage form, packaging, safety, and stability. This activity also received a positive response from the participants and was reported by local media. The community service program successfully increased the community's knowledge and understanding of drugs and drug stability, thus strengthening SDGs 3. Abstract

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have been widely used in developing antibacterial preparations. AgNPs are used in film preparation to enhance the film’s antibacterial properties. The combination of natural polymers is an effective strategy to enhance mechanical properties, prolong degradation time, preserve gas and vapor permeability, and maintain biocompatibility. This research aims to develop an AgNP-chitosan-carboxymethyl chitosan (CMChi) nanocomposite film that exhibits desirable physical properties and enhances antibacterial activity by incorporating AgNPs. Chitosan-CMChi composite films were prepared using the solvent casting method. Characterization and antibacterial tests using Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) were carried out for AgNO3 and AgNP-chitosan-CMChi nanocomposite films. The results showed that a 1 mM AgNO3 solution with 1% lime powder at pH 9 was the optimal formulation for AgNP formation, exhibiting an absorbance of 4.631 at 408.1 nm, a particle size of 68.4 nm, and antibacterial activity. To optimize the chitosan-CMChi composite film, a formula of 1.5% chitosan and 1.5% CMChi was selected, yielding a tensile strength value of 0.514 MPa. The AgNP solution was then added. In the AgNP-chitosan-CMChi nanocomposite film, it was observed that increasing the AgNP volume affected the mechanical strength of the film. The antibacterial activity of the AgNP-chitosan-CMChi nanocomposite film increased with the AgNP concentration. Combining AgNPs with the chitosan-CMChi polymer yields nanocomposite films with good physical properties and enhanced antibacterial activity against P. acnes compared with films without AgNPs.
