Abstract

Public service is one manifestation of the function of the state apparatus as a public servant, public service for the welfare of the community or citizens. Professional service means service that is characterized by public accountability and responsibility from public service providers. One of the functions that must be carried out by the government is the function of public services or the function of community services. To see it all can be packaged in the quality of service (real, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy). The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the effect of the dimensions of service quality (real, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy) simultaneously and partially on community satisfaction simultaneously at the Population and Civil Registration Service (DISPENDUKCAPIL) Banyuwangi City and see the most dominant variables. in service quality. The sample in this study was 138 respondents who used the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used multiple regression tests, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the research, it is explained that all service quality variables have a simultaneous effect on people's satisfaction while partially three variables influence them (tangibles, reliability, and responsiveness) and two other variables. (certainty and empathy) do not affect employee satisfaction. From the fifth variable, it turns out that tangible variables (Physical Evidence) have a dominant influence on people's satisfaction.. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of applying the principles of accountability, transparency, and stakeholder’s participation on the effectiveness of the management of School Operational Assistance Funds (BOS/Bantuan Operasional Sekolah) at SDN Kaliglagah 04 Sumberbaru District. The method used in this research is by distributing questionnaires. We used 80 sample in this study, they were school committee, teachers and parents. The sampling technique was carried out by simple random sampling technique. The data analysis method used is Multiple Linear Regression. The results showed that transparency had a partial effect on the effectiveness management of the School Operational Assistance Funds (BOS). While the application of the principle of accountability and stakeholder participation does not partially affect the effectiveness of the management of School Operational Assistance Funds (BOS). Simultaneously the application of the principles of accountability, transparency and stakeholder participation affect the effectiveness of the management of School Operational Assistance Funds (BOS).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Influence of Self-Development Training, Teaching Experience, Teacher Certification, and Infrastructure Facilities on Teacher Professionalism in State Elementary Islamic Schools (MIN) throughout Jember Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach. The population in this study comprises all teachers in MIN throughout Jember Regency, totaling 58 teachers, while the sample consists of 58 individuals. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed over a period of 3 months. Subsequently, the data were analyzed using multiple regression. The research findings indicate that self-development training and teaching experience have a positive influence on teacher professionalism. Meanwhile, teacher certification and infrastructure facilities do not have a significant effect on the level of professionalism among teachers in MIN throughout Jember Regency.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pelaksanaan program ini yaitu diharapkan, mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman yang secara langsung menemukan, merumuskan, memecahkan dan menanggulangi masalah yang berada dilapangan. Adapun sasaran dari pemberdayaan masyarakat yang kami lakukan yaitu masyarakat dan UKM. Tidak banyak program yang kami laksanakan di Dusun Sukodadi tersebut meliputi kegiatan kesehatan yaitu Program cuci tangan pada kegiatan Posyandu, pembagian dan pembuatan hand sanitizer. Selain kegiatan kesehatan kami juga mempunyai kediatan dalam bidang ekonomi yaitu pembuatan logo dan bener UKM, promosi produk UKM, pembuatan aplikasi pemasaran dan mengajari pemilik UKM agar bisa aktif di sosial media, membantu pembuatan pesanan standing flower dan vas sabut kelapa, penentuan harga produk UKM.

Abstract

This study examines the complexities surrounding the Empowerment of coastal communities amidst conflicting elite interests, mainly focusing on the political-economic dynamics of cold storage management in Puger Kulon, Jember Regency. Utilizing descriptive qualitative research methods, data were gathered from coastal community leaders, local government officials, and fishermen. The findings reveal significant challenges stemming from cultural and economic factors in empowering coastal communities. The presence of interest groups seeking to maintain influence exacerbates these challenges. The power struggle between politically influential figures and external investors leaves the community disadvantaged. While the government aims to maintain regional stability, its limited authority impedes effective action. The inability to implement large-scale empowerment initiatives or delegate responsibilities due to a high conflict of interest among entrepreneurs hampers efforts to enhance fishermen's welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Ar-Rahn financing, income (Ujrah), number of customers, gold price fluctuations, and inflation rates on profitability. The population in this study is Islamic pawnshops registered with the Financial Services Authority in 2019-2023. This study uses a sampling technique, namely the methodSaturation Samplingand using monthly data, so that a sample of 3 companies was obtained with a total of 60 data samples. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results of the study showed that partially the Ar-Rahn financing variables, number of customers, and audit gold price fluctuations did not affect profitability. While the Ujrah income and inflation rate variables affected profitability. Simultaneously, the Ar-Rahn financing variables, Ujrah income, number of customers, gold price fluctuations, and inflation rates affected profitability

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat kali ini dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Almisri Desa Curahmalang, Kecamatan Rambipuji, Kabupaten Jember. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Untuk memotivasi para siswa kelas 12 MA Almisri agar tetap menyelesaikan pendidikan hingga lulus walaupun di tengah pandemi covid-19 dan 2) Untuk memotivasi para siswa kelas 12 MA Almisri agar setelah lulus dapat melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi yaitu melanjutkan studi ke bangku kuliah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu dengan melakukan kunjungan ke MA Almisri, bertatap muka dengan siswa kelas 12 dengan tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu para siswa semakin termotivasi untuk menyelesaikan sekolah hingga lulus dan tidak sedikit dari mereka yang antusias untuk melanjutkan studi lanjut ke bangku kuliah, hal ini dapat dilihat dari respon yang mereka berikan, dengan meminta contact person dan juga nomer telpon STIE Mandala. Abstract

Education plays a vital role in creating quality, competitive human resources, which is a national priority, including in Indonesia. This study focuses on the effectiveness of managing the committee funds at MTsN 1 Banyuwangi to support educational financing that is not fully covered by the state budget (APBN). Using a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation, the results show that the management of committee funds has been efficient. In 2021-2022, the received funds amounted to IDR 1,357,610,000, with a realization rate of 93.87%. The following year, committee funds amounted to IDR 1,130,600,000, with 100% realization and a surplus of IDR 33,600,000, which was carried over to 2023-2024. In this period, the received funds amounted to IDR 1,351,125,000, with a proposed budget of IDR 2,080,715,000. As of now, the realization stands at 64.93%, and the management is ongoing as the school year has not yet finished. The committee funds play a crucial role in fulfilling the educational financing needs not fully covered by the national budget and contribute to the improvement of educational quality at MTsN 1 Banyuwangi.

Abstract

Government institutions play a crucial role in providing public services, implementing state policies, and managing public administration. Human resource management in institutions aims to enhance employee productivity to support the achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the influence of discipline, commitment, and organizational climate on employee performance at the Kesyahbandaran and Port Authority Office Class III Tanjung Wangi. The research employs a quantitative approach with a causal study design. Data were collected from 90 respondents using a sampling technique and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that work discipline has a significant partial effect on employee performance, where higher discipline enhances productivity. Commitment has a significant partial effect, showing that employees with high loyalty and moral responsibility tend to perform optimally. A positive organizational climate significantly increases employee performance by creating a conducive work atmosphere. Simultaneously, discipline, commitment, and organizational climate significantly influence employee performance, suggesting that these three variables complement each other in enhancing work efficiency and effectiveness. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for government institutions in formulating policies and strategies to improve employee performance through discipline management, commitment reinforcement, and the establishment of a positive organizational climate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis komitmen organisasi kinerja pegawai dan upaya meningkatkan kinerja pegawai pada kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dimana data akan dianalisis secara deskriptif yang berasal dari hasil wawancara, catatan, dan hasil pengamatan penulis. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini, yakni observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Pendekatan analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan penelitian ini meliputi kredibilitas data, dependabilitas dan konfirmabilitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi dan optimalisasi kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Banyuwangi telah berjalan dengan baik. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan evaluasi kinerja pegawai dilakukan secara berkala untuk memberikan umpan balik yang membangun. Digitalisasi administrasi dan teknologi informasi meningkatkan efisiensi kerja serta akurasi data. Dukungan kesejahteraan, seperti fasilitas kesehatan dan tunjangan finansial, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang harmonis dan meningkatkan loyalitas pegawai. Upaya peningkatan kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Banyuwangi telah dilakukan secara sistematis, terarah, dan berkelanjutan. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan Evaluasi kinerja dilakukan secara berkala untuk memantau perkembangan dan memberikan umpan balik yang membangun. Penerapan sistem reward dan punishment, termasuk Tunjangan Penghasilan Pegawai (TPP), meningkatkan disiplin dan motivasi kerja.
