Abstract

Islamic stocks are securities in the form of shares that have and do not conflict with Islamic principles in the capital market. Investment in Islamic stocks is currently experiencing quite significant developments, so investors are looking at it from the side of the growth of their stock prices. One of the factors that affect stock prices is fundamental factors. The fundamental factors in this study are described as independent variables, namely the Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Earning Per share (EPS), while the dependent variable is the Indonesian Sharia Stock Price in the Financial Sector which is listed in the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). This study aims to analyze the effect of DER, NPM, and EPS on Indonesian Sharia Stock Prices in the financial sector listed in the ISSI Index. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with multiple linear regression data analysis. The results of this study show that the Debt-to-Equity Ratio has a negative and insignificant effect on Sharia Stock Prices. Net Profit Margin has a positive but not significant to Islamic Stock Prices. Earning Per-share has a negative and not significant to Islamic Stock Prices. The ability of the DER, NPM, and EPS variables to explain variations in changes in the stock price variable is only 10.5%, whereas the remaining 80.5% can be influenced by other variables not examined. The implication of this study is that investors in investing do not only consider fundamental factors but other factors that are very significant to fluctuations in Islamic stock prices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of corporate fundamental factors such as ROA (Return on Assets), ROE (Return On Equity), EPS (Earning per Share), NPM (Net Profit Margin), DER (Dept to Equity Ratio) and CR (Current Ratio) of financial sector stock returns listed in the Daftar Efek Syariah (DES). The sample of this study were determined using the saturated sampling method in which all populations were sampled. The research sample consisted of 5 companies with an observation period of 2015-2017 to obtain 15 observational data. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that ROA, ROE, EPS, NPM, DER and CR together had a positive and significant effect on stock returns. While partially ROA, ROE, NPM, and CR have no significant effect on stock returns. Only EPS and DER have a positive and significant effect on stock returns. While the most dominant variable influencing stock returns is DER. The theoretical implication of this research was that investors need to consider EPS and DER by looking at the ups and downs of the ratio. Practically, in determining investor stock returns, do not only pay attention to the company's internal factors, but must pay attention to the company's external factors. Keywords: Fundamental Factors, ROA, ROE, EPS, NPM, DER, CR, Stock Return.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions that seek to educate their students to always live by following Islamic law. Based on Law No. 18 of 2019 concerning Islamic boarding schools, Islamic boarding schools function as educational institutions, da'wah, and community empowerment. Islamic boarding schools, as Islamic educational institutions, offer good opportunities to take advantage of the momentum in increasing the market trend of halal products by increasing entrepreneurship-based curricula and being able to collaborate with world industries. Halal product literacy is an important issue in entrepreneurship activities so that Muslim communities become safe and comfortable in consuming products, especially food and beverages as primary needs. This community service activity was carried out by UPN Veteran Jakarta academics and the Sirojul Huda Bogor Islamic Boarding School as partners. The target of this activity is students who are currently studying at the senior high school level at the Sirojul Huda Bogor Islamic Boarding School. The main problem is that the literacy level of Islamic boarding school students is still low, even though they have provided material about halal and haram law in Islam. The objectives of this PKM are (1) to provide education about the world of entrepreneurship by following the concept of Islamic sharia; (2) to provide education and socialization of the mechanism of halal-certified products; (3) increasing motivation and foster an entrepreneurial spirit by following the guidance of the Qur'an and Al Hadith; (4) preparing the students so that after graduation they can live competitively in society independently. The activity method used lectures and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results of these activities show that there is an increase in literacy of halal products and the concept of entrepreneurship by following Islamic law after socialization and education. These have to be carried out sustainably with collaboration and synergy between academics, boarding schools, and the world industry.

Abstract

The main problem in Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), one of which is limited capital. Difficulties in obtaining loans or other external capital are partly because MSMEs do not have financial information that is accountable, transparent, has integrity, and is in accordance with Financial Accounting Standards. Apart from that, business financial management is still mixed with household finances, and the lack of knowledge regarding product cost calculations means that MSME products often have higher prices compared to imported products. Community service activities are carried out in collaboration with the Berlian Cooperative in the South Tangerang Region which is engaged in savings and loans and selling traditional Betawi cakes. The aim of this community service (PKM) is to provide education regarding business financial management and mechanisms for calculating costs and product selling prices based on cost accounting. The implementation method is in the form of lectures and simulations of calculating product costs and recording simple financial reports. The results of PKM activities show that the results of questionnaires distributed at the pre-activity stage show that this MSME group still has problems related to business bookkeeping and proper financial management so the average MSME actor in this group still does not know the exact amount of income and costs, and the profits generated from their efforts. Based on this, it is necessary to carry out further training and assistance related to financial management and literacy in banking and non-banking financial services so that MSME players can develop their businesses. Abstract

The Islamic banking industry has transformed into an industry with prospects that can surpass conventional banking. This study analyzes the effect of the financial performance and soundness of Bank Syariah Indonesia before the mega-merger on profitability. The research uses bank health indicators, including Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Operational Efficiency Ratio (OER), Net Operating Margin (NOM), and Return on Assets (ROA). The research method uses multiple linear regression. The results showed that CAR, NPF, and NOM did not affect ROA. However, FDR and OER affect ROA. Indonesian Islamic banks need to pay attention to the feasibility aspect of financing to avoid non-performing financing. Islamic banks use FDR and OER to increase their profitability because the conditions experienced by Bank Syariah Indonesia as the leading Islamic bank in Indonesia after the mega-merger, are considered capable of simultaneously representing.
