Abstract

Distribution transformers are crucial components in power distribution systems that require real-time monitoring to prevent disruptions and ensure efficient operation. Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring systems offer innovative solutions with the ability to detect disruptions early and provide real-time information to operators. This study proposes an optimized early-detection monitoring system for distribution transformers by utilizing IoT devices, including temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors installed on the transformers to monitor their operational conditions. Data collected through the sensors is then processed using a cloud platform for further analysis, with machine learning algorithms used to detect anomalous patterns indicating potential disruptions. Furthermore, the system is designed to send automatic notifications to operators via a mobile application or web dashboard when a disruption is detected, enabling faster response and prevention of further damage. Test results show that the system is capable of detecting disruptions with high accuracy and can improve maintenance efficiency and reduce transformer operational downtime. The implementation of IoT in distribution transformer monitoring also opens up opportunities for optimizing condition-based maintenance management that is more economical and proactive.

Abstract

Load imbalance in three-phase distribution transformers leads to high neutral currents, increased power losses, and decreased system efficiency. This study aims to analyze and simulate load imbalances on distribution transformers located on Feeder LK.10 at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Medan Kota. Data collection was conducted through field measurements of voltage and current, followed by manual calculations and simulations using ETAP 19. The analysis focused on load imbalance percentage, transformer loading, neutral current, and power losses. Results indicate that several transformers exhibit critical imbalance conditions, with some exceeding 25% load imbalance and significant neutral current. The ETAP 19 simulation results show a high level of accuracy compared to actual field measurements, with an average error below 3%. This study confirms that accurate monitoring and proper load redistribution are essential to maintain distribution transformer performance. The findings are expected to support PLN in improving power quality and reliability in distribution systems.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of imports, exports, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and economic growth on the financial performance of governments in ASEAN countries. Utilizing secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and websites www.tradingeconomics.com and www.macrotrends.net, the study analyzes a census sample of all 10 ASEAN countries over the period 2015–2024, resulting in 100 panel data observations. The analysis employs panel data regression with Stata Version 17, supported by Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests to ensure robustness. Findings reveal that FDI positively and significantly influences government financial performance, whereas economic growth has a significant but negative effect. Imports and exports were found to have no significant impact. These results underscore the importance of prioritizing foreign investment management and fiscal policy adaptation to address the complexities of economic growth while optimizing international trade dynamics in ASEAN countries. This study contributes empirical evidence to the literature by clarifying the distinct effects of key economic variables on government financial performance in ASEAN, offering implications for policy-making and economic governance.

Abstract

The content of this book is intended to address difficulties about teaching technique limits and instructor flexibility when teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to DHH students. This book focuses on conceptual overviews of the importance of inclusive English learning for all students, especially DHH pupils. The authors give two parts of primary research reports on the use of various English learning strategies for DHH learners in diverse circumstances, as well as theoretical studies on approaches to learning strategies appropriate for DHH learners from various perspectives. The initial chapter in this book examines comprehensive input strategies and treatments, including a review of the principles and theories that serve as the foundation for language learning for students with special needs. In the second section, the authors present some research findings on the circumstances and outcomes of teaching EFL to DHH learners.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of business location on the income of the pulse kiosk business in Lhokseumawe City and to identify the effect of business capital on the pulse kiosk business income in Lhokseumawe City. The number of samples in this study were 68 respondents who were determined using saturated sampling (census). The type of data used is primary data collected using research questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple linear regression equations with SPSS 20 tools. The results showed simultaneously Fcount > Ftable or 33,649 > 3,138, the conclusion was that business location and business capital had a significant effect on the income of pulse kiosks in Lhokseumawe City. Based on the results of the partial test, it is known that for the business location variable the value of tcount > ttable or 3.945 > 1.997, and the operating capital variable tcount > ttable or 2.484 > 1.997, it can be concluded that partially the business location and business capital have a significant effect on the income of pulse kiosks in Lhokseumawe City. The business location variable is the dominant factor affecting the income of the pulse kiosk in Lhokseumawe City. The author's suggestion for pulse kiosk business owners is that indicators of business location and business capital must be increased in order to be able to increase their pulse kiosk income. Abstract

The impact of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) outbreak on the tourism industry, especially Indonesia, is certainly very influential. A number of cancellations of foreign and domestic tourist arrivals have occurred since the virus outbreak was announced. The plane seats are empty, as well as hotels, cruise operators, and other business potentials. Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno assessed that the limited mobility of the community due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the closure of recreational and entertainment places had a considerable economic impact on the tourism sector. This study aims to formulate a strategy to improve the tourism sector in Indonesia which is declining amid the covid-19 pandemic with the incentive sales method in collaboration with airlines or foreign agents who bring foreign tourists to Indonesia with a specific purpose. will be given a subsidy depending on the number and duration of tourists visiting Indonesia. Through a strategy mechanism to reduce connectivity costs and a competitive destination model (CDM) to anticipate a decline in tourism performance. This scientific research also aims to provide recommendations for sustainable strategies for the Indonesian tourism sector, especially in the province of Aceh in running the tourism sector amid the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is a qualitative research using a mix method by conducting interviews with the target population, namely 100 business actors who play a role in driving the economy in the tourism object business in Aceh province and formulating a model for increasing the productivity of the tourism sector by introducing direct promotion methods and collaborating with the government in the process. development and improvement of the tourism sector. In this study, a focus group discussion will be held by inviting local officials from the Aceh provincial tourism office and academics to provide input in completing the model for developing a strategy for increasing tourism productivity by focusing on the incentive sales method. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi memberikan banyak kemudakan bagi masyarakat, salah satunya kemudahan dalam mendapatkan informasi/berita secara cepat. Disatu sisi hal ini menjadi suatu keuntungan yang baik akan tetapi, disisi lain informasi/berita yang tersampaikan dengan cepat juga dapat menjadi suatu permasalahan jika informasi/berita yang disampaikan itu tidak benar atau hoaks. Berita hoaks sendiri akan sangat berbahaya jika disebarkan di sosial media terutama bagi orang-orang yang pemahaman literasi digital nya masih sangat rendah seperti masyarakat pedesaan dalam mengidentifikasi sebuah berita hoaks. Oleh karena itu melalui pengabdian ini dilakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat gampong Murong terkait pemahaman kepada masyarakat agar bisa mengidentifikasi dan mengenali hoaks. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan sosialisasi tentang berita hoaks adalah metode presentasi dilanjutkan dengan tanya jawab ataupun diskusi. Materi ini mengenai definisi berita hoaks, contoh berita hoaks, bahaya berita hoaks, ciri-ciri berita hoaks, cara mengecek kebenaran berita, sikap dalam menghadapi hoaks, dan manfaat mengecek kebenaran berita. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki dampak yang besar terhadap pemahaman masyarakat gampng Murong dimana tingkat pemahaman masyarakat gampong Murong yang awalnya hanya ada 20% yang paham cara mengidentifikasi konten media sosial yang mengandung hoaks, kemudian mengalami kenaikan menjadi 90% masyarakat mampu mengidentifikasi konten media sosial yang mengandung hoaks.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of financing and total assets on economic growth. This research uses a quantitative approach with secondary data and applies multiple linear regression analysis methods. The population in this research are banks included in the LQ45 index from 2018 to 2022. The research results show that financing has an influence on economic growth. This shows that the decline in economic growth causes difficulties in purchasing or financing, prompting an increase in demand for bank financing. Conversely, high economic growth reduces the need for financing, resulting in reduced demand in the banking sector. Total assets have a significant influence on economic growth because the majority of total banking assets are used for internal banking purposes. This includes meeting capital needs, business expansion, improving service quality, and compliance with the principles governing banking operations, including sharia banking.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of audit ethics and motivation on the strategic decisions made by internal auditors. Utilizing a multiple linear regression analysis, the study focuses on a population comprising auditors from 23 Regency/City Inspectorates in Aceh Province, with a sample size of 64 individuals. The findings reveal a significant positive influence of both audit ethics and motivation on internal auditors' strategic decisions. This suggests that heightened levels of audit ethics and motivation are associated with more favorable strategic decision-making by internal auditors. The implications of these results highlight the importance of fostering an ethical culture and motivation within the audit profession. However, it is crucial to acknowledge the limitations of the study, and further research is recommended to explore additional variables and enhance the generalizability of the findings.

Artikel ini bertujuan mengetahui permasalahan pelayanan dibidang kesehatan dengan menganalisis penerapan Pasal 18 Undang-Undang Nomor 25 Tahun 2009 yang mengatur mengenai hak masyarakat, khususnya di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Secara umum, Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan telah berupaya memenuhi seluruh hak masyarakat dalam setiap pemberian layanan kesehatan dan tidak ada pembedaan kualitas layanan bagi masyarakat kurang mampu. Untuk menjamin keterpenuhan tersebut, pihak rumah sakit telah menerapkan standar-standar pelayanan yang anti diskriminatif sesuai amanat Undang-undang Pelayanan Publik.Kata Kunci: Masyarakat Kurang Mampu; Layanan Kesehatan; Pelayanan Publik
