Abstract

Creativity plays a crucial role for students because it provides various benefits that support their overall development, both in academic and personal aspects. This study aims to: 1) determine the learning motivation of fifth-grade elementary school students, 2) determine the creativity of fifth-grade elementary school students, and 3) determine the influence of learning motivation on the creativity of fifth-grade elementary school students. This research method uses a quantitative method with an ex-post facto design. Data collection was carried out through a learning motivation questionnaire and creativity observation sheet. The questionnaire instrument is used to obtain data on students' learning motivation. Observation sheets are used to determine students' creativity. Data were collected through a learning motivation questionnaire and a creativity observation sheet. Data analysis techniques consist of prerequisite tests and hypothesis tests. The prerequisite tests consist of normality tests and homogeneity tests. Hypothesis testing uses a t-test with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 program. The results of this study indicate the influence of learning motivation on the creativity of fifth-grade elementary school students in batik making with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion of this study confirms that learning motivation has a significant influence on the creativity of fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a crucial element that significantly influences students’ active participation and academic achievement in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at the elementary school level. This study aims to analyze the learning motivation of fifth-grade students in IPAS through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. A qualitative approach was used with a case study design involving 26 fifth-grade students at Pandanan Public Elementary School, where data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data were collected through motivation questionnaires, participatory observation, and in-depth interviews, and were then analyzed thematically using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study showed a significant increase in intrinsic motivation, where the number of students in the “Very High” motivation category rose sharply from 3 to 12, and the “Low” motivation category disappeared. The implementation of PBL also proved to change students’ perceptions of IPAS from mere memorization to problem-solving-based learning that is more relevant and engaging. Overall, the Problem-Based Learning model proved effective and had a positive impact on improving students’ learning motivation, engagement, and the quality of their learning experiences in the IPAS subject.

Abstract

Permainan tradisional Nusantara kaya akan nilai budaya dan edukasi, namun kurang optimal dalam pemanfaatannya sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengkaji strategi optimalisasi permainan tradisional Nusantara bagi guru SD di Indonesia. Artikel ini merupakan kajian literatur terkait permainan tradisional Nusantara dan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kajian literatur dengan mencari referensi teori yang relevan dengan kasus atau permasalahan yang ditemukan. Hasil kajian literatur ditemukan berbagai strategi optimalisasi permainan tradisional Nusantara, antara lain integrasi dengan materi pelajaran, modifikasi aturan dan permainan, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran, dan penyelenggaraan festival permainan tradisional. Implementasi strategi tersebut menunjukkan hasil positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar dan halus, kerjasama tim dan komunikasi, dan pengetahuan budaya dan nilai-nilai luhur. Kesimpulan hasil kajian literatur yaitu optimalisasi permainan tradisional nusantara dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar di Indonesia.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis dan literasi peserta didik perlu ditingkatkan karena keduanya merupakan keterampilan abad 21 yang penting untuk menghadapi tantangan perubahan zaman dan perkembangan teknologi, namun saat ini kemampuan tersebut belum sesuai tujuan, sehingga media digital diperlukan untuk menunjang proses belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi dan tantangan implementasi pembelajaran menggunakan Smart Apps Creator (SAC) bagi peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan literatur review. Artikel yang dipilih untuk ditinjau berjumlah 15 yang dipublikasikan pada tahun 2019-2024. Artikel tersebut diperoleh dari Eric Journal dan Google Scholar. Kriteria artikel yang ditinjau antara lain merupakan research article, memiliki struktur yang lengkap, open access, menggunakan bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Smart Apps Creator (SAC) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Selain itu, aplikasi tersebut juga dapat mengembangkan minat dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Pengembangan aplikasi SAC juga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan problem solving peserta didik. Tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi SAC antara lain keterampilan dan persiapan guru dalam mengembangkan aplikasi SAC dengan unsur lain agar lebih menarik dan fasilitas sekolah yang kurang memadai. Secara keseluruhan, Smart Apps Creator (SAC) dapat menjadi solusi untuk guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran sehingga hasil belajar dan literasi peserta didik meningkat.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep adalah suatu cara yang sistematis dalam memahami dan mengemukakan tentang sesuatu yang diperolehnya. Berdasarkan hasil temuan pada observasi awal diperoleh nilai rata rata IPAS  54,54 dari KKM 70. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPASS kelas 5 melalui model Problem Based Learning dan Media Diorama SD Muhammadiyah 5 Ska. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan masing masing dua pertemuan pada setiap siklusnya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, tes, studi dokumen, catatan lapangan. Uji validitas data penelitian ini menggunakan Triangulasi teknik, dan Triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis ktitis dan analisis statistic deskriptif. Hasil penelitian memnunjukan bahwa melalui model Problem Based Learning dan media Diorama dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPASS peserta didik kelas 5. Hal ini dibuktikan pada siklus 1 penilaian kognitif mendapatkan nilai tingkat ketuntasan 63,63 sedangkan siklus 2 mendapatkan nilai tingkat ketuntasan 81,81. Hasil Observasi Aktivitas Peserta Didik pada siklus 1 memperoleh kategori baik skor 18,48, sedangkan pada siklus 2 memperoleh kategori sangat baik skor 20,27. Penilaian keterampilan guru pada siklus 1 mendapatkan skor 22, sedangkan pada siklus 2 mendapatkan skor 26.

Abstract

This study addresses the limited use of instructional media by elementary school teachers in fostering students’ learning motivation in Science subjects. The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of digital puzzle media in enhancing students’ learning motivation. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at SD N 1 Sajen. The participants consisted of 31 third-grade students, including 19 boys and 12 girls. The findings show that digital puzzle media effectively increase students’ motivation and enthusiasm in Science learning. Observation and documentation results indicate that the media attract students’ attention and encourage active participation during the learning process. In addition, interviews reveal that students feel more enthusiastic and engaged when learning using digital puzzle media. In conclusion, digital puzzle media can foster elementary school students’ learning motivation in Science subjects and support more interactive and engaging learning experiences.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar operasi bilangan cacah melalui model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) pada peserta didik kelas 4 SD N Cengklik. Penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan subjek 28 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 55,89 pada pra-siklus menjadi 65,36 pada siklus I, 89,83 pada siklus II, dan 91,96 pada siklus III. Ketuntasan klasikal juga meningkat dari 32,14% menjadi 42,86%, 67,86%, dan 92,86% secara berturut-turut. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa model TGT efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada operasi bilangan cacah.

Abstract

Early mathematics learning is essential for developing elementary students’ numeracy skills, yet rote-based instruction often limits conceptual understanding. Therefore, meaningful and active approaches such as multisensory learning within a deep learning framework are needed. This study aims to examine multisensory approaches in supporting deep learning-oriented early mathematics instruction through a narrative literature review of relevant sources published in the last ten years. Data were analyzed using thematic synthesis focusing on theoretical foundations, implementation strategies, and empirical findings. The results show that multisensory approaches enhance conceptual understanding, student engagement, and overall learning quality, while aligning with deep learning principles that emphasize meaningful and joyful learning. However, studies explicitly integrating both approaches in early mathematics remain limited. Thus, further development of integrative instructional models is recommended to support meaningful and sustainable mathematics learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri Tunggulsari 01 Surakarta menggunakan metode eja dengan media MEJA (eja aku). Dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap: 1) perencanaan tindakan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi, dan 4) evaluasi atau refleksi. Hasil penelitian diukur berdasarkan tes keterampilan membaca siswa, dengan data dari siklus I dianalisis dan dievaluasi untuk perbaikan siklus II. Hasil dari siklus II dibandingkan dengan kondisi awal untuk menilai kemajuan. Ketuntasan klasikal pada kondisi awal adalah 31%, meningkat menjadi 72,15% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 90,53% pada siklus II. Rata-rata keterampilan membaca awal adalah 58,15, dengan batas tuntas 75. Kesimpulannya, keterampilan membaca siswa menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dari kondisi awal hingga siklus II pada tahun pelajaran 2024-2025.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of innovative learning models that are relevant to technological developments and the characteristics of elementary school students in the digital era. Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning requires an approach that is contextual, meaningful, and able to actively involve students in the learning process. One of the appropriate models is Project Based Learning (PjBL), especially when integrated with interactive digital media. This study aimed to analyze and synthesize research findings related to the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by interactive digital media in Grade IV elementary school IPAS learning. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach. Data sources were obtained from the PoPCites database through stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. From the initial 100 articles, 20 relevant articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed comprehensively. The results showed that the implementation of PjBL assisted by interactive digital media such as Canva, Padlet, Wordwall, Genially, YouTube, and Augmented Reality was able to improve student motivation, learning participation, conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and learning outcomes in IPAS subjects. Interactive digital media also helped transform abstract IPAS concepts into more concrete, visual, and meaningful learning experiences. Therefore, the PjBL model assisted by interactive digital media is considered an effective and adaptive learning strategy to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and the development of 21st-century competencies in elementary schools.
