Abstract

This study aims to compare the face-to-face learning process with online learning on the effectiveness of student learning in class XI Accounting at SMK PGRI 2 Jambi City. The design of this study uses the Quasi Experiment method. The population in this study was 78 students from all XI Accounting Classes at SMK PGRI 2 Jambi City. The sample used in this study consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class (XI AK2) with 26 students and the control class (XI AK1) with 26 students. Data collection techniques used in this study include interviews, observation and multiple choice tests. The research instrument tests used include the validity of the questions and the reliability of the questions, the level of difficulty test, and the test of discriminating power. Furthermore, inferential statistical tests were carried out, namely normality tests and homogeneity tests. The hypothesis test used is the ANCOVA test to answer the research hypothesis. Based on the results of this study, it can be obtained that there is a significant difference between the effectiveness of student learning through the face-to-face learning process and online learning on the learning effectiveness of students in class XI Accounting at SMK PGRI 2 Jambi City. This is evidenced by the calculation of the ancova test listed in the Tests of Between-Subjects Effects table, the significance level in the line "Learning effectiveness" is 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it can be explained that student learning can be said to be effective if mastery learning can be achieved properly through a supportive learning process so that interactions between teachers and students as well as fellow students can spur high enthusiasm for students, so that teachers can create an educative learning atmosphere and conducive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh persepsi entrepreneurial story terhadap motivasi wirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 98 mahasiswa yang mengikuti kuliah kewirausahaan, dan metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan analisis regresi linear. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur dua variabel utama: persepsi kewirausahaan dan motivasi kewirausahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara persepsi entrepreneurial story dan motivasi wirausaha. Mahasiswa yang terpapar cerita kewirausahaan yang inspiratif cenderung memiliki motivasi yang lebih tinggi untuk berwirausaha. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya integrasi pendekatan berbasis cerita dalam kurikulum kewirausahaan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya juga diberikan, termasuk eksplorasi elemen-elemen spesifik dalam cerita kewirausahaan dan penerapannya di program studi lainnya.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe rapid development of digital technology requires teachers to adapt to innovations in artificial intelligence (AI)-based learning. However, many madrasah teachers still lack the literacy and skills to utilize Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen-AI) as a learning tool. This problem was the basis for conducting Gen-AI training at MTsN 2 Tanjungjabung Barat. This study aims to improve teachers' competence in integrating Gen-AI technology into creative, interactive, and efficient learning processes. The method used is a descriptive approach with a participatory training model, involving 25 subject teachers as participants. The activity was carried out in three stages, namely socialization and introduction to the concept of Gen-AI, practical training in the use of Gen-AI applications (such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, and Gemini), and evaluation of teachers' abilities in applying the training results. The results of the study showed a significant increase in teachers' knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards the use of AI technology in learning, with an average increase in competency scores of 35%. Participants also showed high enthusiasm and began to implement the training results in the creation of teaching tools and digital learning media. The conclusion of this study shows that Gen-AI training is effective in improving digital literacy and encouraging learning innovation in madrasahs.Keywords: Generative Artificial Intelligence, teacher training, digital learning, technological literacy, educational innovation.ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat menuntut guru untuk beradaptasi dengan inovasi pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence). Namun, masih banyak guru madrasah yang belum memiliki literasi dan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen-AI) sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran. Permasalahan tersebut menjadi dasar dilaksanakannya kegiatan pelatihan Gen-AI di MTsN 2 Tanjungjabung Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi Gen-AI ke dalam proses pembelajaran yang kreatif, interaktif, dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan model participatory training, melibatkan 25 guru mata pelajaran sebagai peserta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi dan pengenalan konsep Gen-AI, pelatihan praktik penggunaan aplikasi Gen-AI (seperti ChatGPT, Canva AI, dan Gemini), serta evaluasi kemampuan guru dalam penerapan hasil pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap guru terhadap penggunaan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran, dengan rata-rata peningkatan skor kompetensi sebesar 35%. Peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan mulai mengimplementasikan hasil pelatihan dalam pembuatan perangkat ajar dan media pembelajaran digital. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan Gen-AI efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital serta mendorong inovasi pembelajaran di lingkungan madrasah.Kata Kunci: Generative Artificial Intelligence, pelatihan guru, pembelajaran digital, literasi teknologi, inovasi pendidikan.

Abstract

Social entrepreneurship education is crucial for cultivating entrepreneurial mindsets and addressing societal challenges, particularly in developing regions. This study explores the themes and priorities emerging from student-generated social enterprise proposals within a project-based learning program. A qualitative case study approach, grounded in the interpretivism paradigm, was employed to analyze 11 social enterprise proposals developed by 110 students. Reflexive thematic analysis was utilized to identify key patterns and themes in the proposals. The analysis revealed that students emphasized community benefits, such as job creation and income generation, and innovative approaches, including technology integration and product diversification. However, the concept of social risk-taking, a fundamental aspect of entrepreneurial intention, was notably underrepresented in the proposals. The underrepresentation of social risk-taking underscores a gap in current educational frameworks. Incorporating experiential learning opportunities and risk management strategies could better prepare students for the complexities of real-world social entrepreneurship. These findings align with established principles of social entrepreneurship while also highlighting divergences that inform future curriculum development. This study contributes to the literature on social entrepreneurship education by illustrating how student perceptions align with and diverge from the core principles of social entrepreneurship. The findings provide actionable insights for designing curricula that more effectively equip students with the skills and mindset necessary for successful social entrepreneurial ventures.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Indonesia faces critical challenges, including limited financial resources, inadequate managerial support, and weak marketing strategies, which hinder the sustainable growth of ECE institutions. This study proposes a collaborative business management model between ECE institutions and universities to address these issues. The research employed a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) approach, involving 15 participants comprising ECE managers and university representatives. Discussions centered on operational challenges faced by ECE institutions and the potential for universities, leveraging their expertise in business, research, and student engagement, to provide strategic managerial and financial support. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to design a collaborative model. The findings revealed that universities can play a pivotal role in addressing ECE management constraints by offering expertise in marketing strategies, financial planning, and operational management. The proposed model emphasizes mutual benefits, with universities enhancing their community engagement and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), while ECE institutions receive essential support to improve educational quality and sustainability. This study addresses a gap in the literature by demonstrating the feasibility and advantages of university-ECE partnerships. Such collaborations can transform both sectors by fostering cross-sector policies, improving community development, and enhancing educational outcomes. The collaborative model offers a strategic solution to ECE sustainability challenges in Indonesia. Future efforts should focus on policy frameworks to support these partnerships, enabling broader implementation and long-term impact on educational and societal advancement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of project-based learning and artificial intelligence in student learning. The rapid development of technology in the digital era requires the world of education, especially higher education, to adopt innovative learning methods relevant to the needs of the 21st century. The study used a qualitative phenomenological approach through in-depth interviews with 8 informants consisting of lecturers and students of the Economics Education Study Program at the University of Jambi who were directly involved in project-based learning and the use of AI as an aid in completing academic assignments. The results showed that 100% of the integrated PjBL and AI activities were able to increase student activeness, creativity, collaboration, and contextual understanding according to 21st-century skills. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, both related to PjBL and the use of AI. To overcome these challenges, various solutions were implemented that support the creation of an adaptive, reflective, and contextual learning ecosystem. These findings imply the need for increased digital literacy and assistance in the use of AI. Further research can examine the effectiveness of PjBL and AI integration in other study programs or use a quantitative approach to obtain more measurable results.

Abstract

Given the growing popularity of online shopping, this study uses the concept of control as a moderating variable to examine how financial knowledge and Paylater benefits influence Shopee Paylater usage among Generation Z in Jambi City. 224 Generation Z students residing in Jambi City and frequently using Shopee Paylater were selected using a purposive selection procedure for this study. The data used to support this study were primarily derived from an online survey administered to participants. Using the SmartPLS version 4.0 application, the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). This study found that knowing how to manage money has a positive and substantial impact on how people use Shopee Paylater. Shopee Paylater usage is positively and significantly influenced by Paylater benefits. Furthermore, it influences behavior when using Shopee Paylater and has a positive and substantial impact on Locus of Control. Shopee Paylater benefits from financial knowledge, but locus of control does little to mitigate its impact. Expanding the study's unit of analysis, considering other new variables, and using qualitative methods are suggestions made for future studies that can help fill the gap in our knowledge about Shopee Paylater usage behavior by Generation Z in Jambi City.
