Abstract

. This study investigates the role of teacher competency in mediating the influence of servant leadership, supervision systems, and school culture on teacher performance. Additionally, this study examines how good school governance influences the relationship between teacher competence and performance. The research employs a quantitative approach with a non-experimental design. It involves 289 teachers, including both civil servant and non-civil servant teachers, selected from 16 public high schools in Semarang using proportional sampling techniques. The variables examined in the study include the principal's servant leadership, school culture, supervision system, teacher competency, good school governance, and teacher performance. The research findings indicate that servant leadership has a direct influence of 25% on teacher competence, school culture has a direct influence of 30%, and the supervision system has a direct influence of 21%. Concerning teacher performance, servant leadership has a 15% influence, school culture has an 18% direct influence, and the supervision system has an 18% influence. Teacher competency also significantly affects teacher performance, with an influence of 35%. The variable of good school governance (GSG) enhances the influence of teacher competence, as indicated by an increase in the R-square value from 0.243 without moderation to 0.990 with GSG as a moderating variable.

Abstract

This article discusses the crucial role of Continuous Training Programs as a strategic innovation to optimize the professionalism of teachers in Indonesia. Teachers play a central role in shaping the future of education and student development, making the quality of education heavily dependent on their abilities and qualifications. Continuous Training Programs become a key solution in enhancing the competence and qualifications of teachers, ensuring they remain relevant in the face of constant changes in the education world. This article examines the essential elements of Continuous Training Programs, including the use of technology for interactive learning, mentoring, and additional skill development. Additionally, the article highlights the importance of continuous evaluation and monitoring to measure the impact of training programs on teaching quality. Continuous Training Programs can also serve as a means of professional recognition and incentives, encouraging teacher participation in these programs. This research is a qualitative descriptive study related to Continuous Training Programs for Teachers through documentation and literature studies. By implementing effective Continuous Training Programs, teachers in Indonesia can continue to enhance their competence, making teaching more innovative, and actively contributing to positive transformations in the education system. This program will not only benefit teachers but also bring significant positive impacts on the overall quality of education in Indonesia

Abstract

A teacher's performance is determined by the quality and quantity of the work they complete while carrying out their responsibilities, which include creating lesson plans, implementing instruction, collecting data from assessments, and analyzing assessments. Many factors influence teacher performance, including principal leadership, organizational culture, MGMP participation, and job satisfaction. This research aims to determine the direct and indirect influence of school principal leadership, organizational culture, and MGMP participation on teacher performance through job satisfaction of Junior High School teachers in Semarang City.The sampling technique used in this research was proportional random sampling with 200 total sample teachers taken from eight state schools in Semarang City. This data analysis uses path analysis using Amos 23.0 program. Questionnaires were used as data collection instruments.The research results show that the principal's leadership has a direct influence on organizational culture and MGMP participation; organizational culture has a direct effect on MGMP participation; the principal's leadership has a direct effect on job satisfaction and organizational culture has a direct effect on job satisfaction; MGMP participation does not affect job satisfaction; Job satisfaction has a direct effect on teacher performance and MGMP participation has a direct effect on teacher performance. Meanwhile, for indirect effects, job satisfaction can mediate the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance; Job satisfaction can mediate organizational culture on teacher performance, while job satisfaction is not able to mediate the effect of MGMP participation on teacher performance.

Abstract

This community service program aims to develop the personal branding of the Menara Kudus area through Edu-Walking Tour. The area’s historical, cultural, and local skills potentials, such as calligraphy craftsmanship and kretek production, have not been fully utilized in existing tourism programs. The Edu-Walking Tour is designed to integrate local historical and cultural stories into the tourism experience, thereby attracting more tourist and empowering the local community. The program includes mentoring for the community and training for tour guides in storytelling skills. Through direct interaction with artisans and community leaders, tourist can gain a deeper understanding of local daily life. The outcomes of this program are expected to enhance the tourist appeal of the Menara Kudus area, boost local economic growth, and preserve the area’s cultural and historical heritage.

Abstract

The cigarette industry in Kudus City has a significant impact on the social and economic aspects of the local community. This research aims to analyze how this industry affects the welfare of society and the local economy. Using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach, this research collected data through in-depth interviews, observations and documentation studies related to the cigarette industry in Kudus. The research results show that the cigarette industry plays an important role in creating jobs and increasing regional income, which has a positive impact on the economic welfare of society. However, negative impacts also arise, especially related to public health due to the widespread smoking culture and high economic dependence on this industry. The conclusions of this research emphasize the need to balance economic benefits and social risks through more comprehensive policies to manage social and health impacts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of principal leadership and school culture on the environmental awareness character through the Adiwiyata program as a moderating variable. This research is important in term of determining the impact of the Adiwiyata program to the environment awareness since there are some other factors included especially at school students level. This research is a quantitative research conducted with a sample of 284 students at SMA N 2 Blora. Data were collected by questionnaire and documentation. The data were analyzed by multiple regression, T test and coefficient of determination. The results showed: (1) Principal leadership does not directly affect environmental awareness, (2) School culture does have a significant impact on environmental awareness, (3) Adiwiyata program does not moderate the effect of principal leadership on environmental awareness, and (4) Adiwiyata program does not moderate the effect of school culture on environmental awareness. The result of this research is in line with psychoanalysis theory by Sigmund Freud since the culture impact students’ character. The result of this research can be used as the one of the reference in implementing Adiwiyata program, also can be used as a reference in improving environmental awareness character. The impact of these independent variables can be improved in various ways, including: (1) increasing the interaction of the principal with students through environmental conservation activities, (2) integrating Adiwiyata program into the school culture that has been running, and (3) environment-based program to increase students' interest in environmental conservation
