Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi e-modul dalam proses pembelajaran semakin meluas seiring dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Salah satu sumber belajar berbasis teknologi yang dapat membantu pembelajaran materi fluida statis adalah Articulate Storyline 360. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan mengevaluasi keefektifannya. Metodologi penelitian model POE2WE berusaha untuk: (1) menyediakan akses informasi tanpa batas kapan saja, di mana saja (2) membangun komunikasi secara online (3) membuat belajar menjadi lebih sederhana dan menyenangkan (4) mengembangkan lingkungan belajar yang inventif dan lebih dinamis. Model blended POE2WE diterapkan kepada peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Atas dengan beberapa langkah antara lain; peserta melalukan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan smartphone, pada pertemuan peserta didik melakukan pembelajaran menggunakan mobile learning dengan bimbingan seorang guru, dalam pembelajaran mandiri peserta didik melakukan pembelajaran jarak jauh sehingga adanya kemauan sendiri dalam melakukan pembelajaran. Hasilnya, e-modul yang dibuat memenuhi syarat sebagai e-modul yang sangat valid dan bermanfaat untuk tujuan pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi lingkungan peserta didik tingkat SMA/MA dalam memahami materi pemanasan global di era Society 5.0. Dilakukan di MA Al-Bidayah Cangkorah, Batujajar pada tanggal 17 Mei 2024, penelitian melibatkan seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPA yang berjumlah 33 orang. Peneliti memberikan kuesioner dan soal sebanyak 14 butir kepada peserta didik, yang meliputi 8 pertanyaan kuesioner dan 4 butir soal tertulis. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan mayoritas peserta didik berada dalam kategori rendah literasi lingkungan, dengan 63,63% peserta didik memiliki tingkat literasi yang rendah. Data kuantitatif dari hasil soal literasi lingkungan juga menunjukkan tantangan dalam pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi pemanasan global. Hasil tes dan wawancara menunjukkan kesulitan peserta didik dalam memahami konsep-konsep dasar, serta kurangnya minat dan keterlibatan dalam diskusi tentang isu-isu lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan inovatif, serta pemanfaatan teknologi yang lebih aktif untuk meningkatkan literasi lingkungan peserta didik. Kolaborasi dengan guru juga menjadi kunci dalam pengembangan pendekatan pembelajaran yang relevan dan efektif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pemahaman tentang pentingnya literasi lingkungan di era Society 5.0 dan menyoroti perlunya upaya yang lebih besar dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran peserta didik tentang isu lingkungan global.

Abstract

Pendidikan untuk Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (Education for Sustainable Development atau ESD) merupakan pendekatan holistik yang bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip pembangunan berkelanjutan ke dalam sistem Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) dalam konteks pembelajaran tentang pemanasan global. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 33 siswa kelas XI MIPA di salah satu madrasah yaitu MA Al-Bidayah yang ada di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Instrument penelitian berupa angket untuk mendapatkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi ESD dalam pembelajaran tentang pemanasan global secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai konsep pemanasan global.

Abstract

Berpikir kritis melibatkan kemampuan untuk menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mensintesis informasi, serta membuat keputusan berdasarkan bukti dan logika. Dalam pembelajaran fisika, keterampilan ini sangat penting karena fisika memerlukan pemahaman konsep yang mendalam dan penerapan prinsip-prinsip ilmiah untuk memecahkan masalah nyata. Topik energi terbarukan, yang mencakup energi surya, angin, hidro, biomassa, dan geotermal, menjadi sangat relevan dalam pembelajaran fisika karena meningkatnya perhatian terhadap isu-isu lingkungan dan keberlanjutan. Pendidikan tentang energi terbarukan tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan tentang teknologi dan metode baru untuk menghasilkan energi, tetapi juga menekankan pentingnya berpikir kritis dalam mengevaluasi sumber energi, dampaknya terhadap lingkungan, dan potensi penerapannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika dengan fokus pada materi energi terbarukan. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 33 siswa kelas XI di MA Al-Bidayah Cangkorah, dipilih secara acak. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes keterampilan berpikir kritis yang mencakup 20 soal pilihan ganda. Hasil tes dianalisis menggunakan model Rasch untuk memastikan validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang rendah, dengan 24,2% siswa berada dalam kategori rendah, 20% dalam kategori sedang, dan 20,3% dalam kategori tinggi. Analisis terhadap lima indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis menunjukkan bahwa siswa paling kuat dalam "Pemberian penjelasan sederhana" (65,52%) dan paling lemah dalam "Pembuatan penjelasan lebih lanjut" (37,21%).

Abstract

The condition of character crisis is a serious threat to the values ​​of national character. Education plays an important role in the formation of national character. This study aims to understand the relationship between the philosophy of education as a system to the formation of national character, the relationship between the philosophy of education and philosophy in the formation of national character, and the relationship between the philosophy of education and Islam in the formation of national character. The method used in this study is the literature study method which involves collecting and analyzing data from several scientific journals, articles, and reports. The philosophy of education can be a system and help implement Islamic values ​​in the education process to form the character of the nation. In addition, education plays an important role in forming the character of the nation through various disciplines such as character education, citizenship education, history learning, Islamic religious education obtained from Islamic boarding schools, and entrepreneurship education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement of students’ scientific literacy through the implementation of the inquiry learning model supported by PhET simulation on capacitor material. The background of this research is the low ability of students to understand capacitors conceptually and applicatively. This experimental study used a Pre-Experimental Design with one experimental class consisting of 34 Grade XII students at SMA Karya Pembangunan 1 Ciparay in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected using pre- and post-scientific literacy tests. The results showed an average N-Gain score of 0.38 (medium category) with an effectiveness percentage of 37.38% (ineffective interpretation). A Paired Samples Test revealed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with an improvement of 23.73 points, t(33)=7.381, p<0.001. These findings indicate that inquiry learning with PhET simulation significantly enhances scientific literacy, although its implementation has not yet reached effective criteria. Implication suggests further integration of laboratory activities and teacher guidance. Researchers recommend optimizing digital scaffolding and training for teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model using the “Vlab Suhu dan Kalor” media on students’ learning outcomes. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 33 seventh-grade students who were given tests before and after the treatment. Data analysis was conducted through a normality test, hypothesis test, and N-Gain calculation. The results of the normality test showed that the data were normally distributed, while the hypothesis test obtained a significance value of < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest learning outcomes. The average N-Gain score of 62.97% falls into the medium category, showing a fairly effective improvement in learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the application of the PBL model using the “Vlab Suhu dan Kalor” media effectively enhances students’ science learning outcomes on the topic of heat and temperature.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce an instruments test used to measure students' critical thinking skills in natural science learning. This research uses a 4-D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate) involving 118 students at the develop stage and 60 students at the disseminate stage. The instrument developed was an essay test based on multiple representations. Validity was proved by using CVI, and reliability was estimated by using the Item Response Theory. The results showed that the instrument had a very good foreign exchange value. This is reflected in the Aiken V scores on the aspects of substance, construct, language and appearance, respectively, about 1.00, 1.00, 1.00, and 1.00. According to Rasch analysis, the instruments has meet the assumption test for 14 items which is unidimensional, the local independence assumption test, and the parameter invariance assumption test. According to OUTFIT MNSQ Value, the items are fit with PCM 1-PL which functions normally in making measurements. Reliability estimated for items shows a very high consistency of measurement of 0.97 and for person shows a high consistency of measurement of 0.86. The results of the student's CTS measurement showed that the average score was 65.50, with a distribution of high, medium, and low abilities, respectively, about 16.67%, 63.33%, and 20.00%. Thus, according to these results, an authentic assessment based on multiple representations is suitable to measure students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure student numeracy ability within the context of physics on the kinetic theory of gases. This study employed a quantitative method with descriptive and parametric statistics analysis. Sixty-two sample students were measured for numeracy ability. The research instrument applied was the ten numeration questions that had been tested empirically. The research indicates that the student cognitive level positively influences numeracy ability with an effect size value of 0.682 and an Adj. R2 value of 0.676. Furthermore, gender-related analysis proves that there is no gap in the numeracy ability with an effect size value of 0.030 and Adj. R2 is 0.014. This study has implications for designing physics learning that develops numeracy ability, especially in determining learning designs that accommodate cognition level and gender.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students at MAN Bandung Barat on the topic of Fungi through the implementation of the Direct Instruction learning model supported by PowerPoint media. The background of this research stems from the low level of students’ conceptual understanding of the material, indicating the need for a more structured and guided instructional approach. The research employed a quantitative method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The subjects of the study were Grade X students enrolled in biology classes during the current semester. The research procedure included administering a pretest, conducting the learning intervention using the Direct Instruction model facilitated by PowerPoint, and administering a posttest to measure changes in learning outcomes. Data analysis consisted of descriptive statistics, a normality test using the Kolmogorov–Smirnov method, and the calculation of the N-Gain score to determine the effectiveness of the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in the average scores from the pretest to the posttest, indicating a positive improvement after the treatment was administered. The normality test results confirmed that the data were normally distributed (p > 0.05), allowing for appropriate subsequent analyses. The average N-Gain score fell into the moderately effective category, suggesting that the learning intervention meaningfully enhanced students’ understanding. Therefore, this study concludes that the application of the Direct Instruction model supported by PowerPoint is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes on the topic of Fungi. The findings further imply that structured instructional models combined with visual media can optimize students’ comprehension of biological concepts.
