Abstract

Beras hitam termasuk jenis beras yang popular dikalangan masyarakat dan dikonsumsi sebagai bahan pangan fungsional karena memiliki manfaat untuk kesehatan.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyisipan kacang tunggak dan penggunaan beberapa galur padi beras hitam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi beras hitam. Percobaan ini dilakukan pada bulan September - Desember 2022, yang bertempat di Desa Beleke Kecamatana Gerung Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu Tumpangsari (T) dan Galur Padi Beras Hitam (V).  Faktor tumpangsari (T) terdiri dari dua aras perlakuan yaitu T0 (Monocrop) dan T1 (Tumpangsari). Dan untuk faktor galur padi beras hitam (V) terdiri dari tiga aras perlakuan yaitu V1 (G3), V2 (G5) dan V3 (G7). Kombinasi dari kedua faktor menjadi 6 kombpinasi perlakuan yaitu T0V1, T0V2, T0V3, T1V1, T1V2 dan T1V3. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali ulangan sehingga secara didapatkan 18 unit percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penysipan kacang tunggak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter lainnya. Nilai tertinggi pada parameter tinggi tanaman ditunjukkan oleh perlakuan T1 dengan nilai 89,80 sedangkan perlakuan T0 mendapatkan nilai sebesar 86,90.  Pada parameter Jumlah anakan nilai tertinggi didapatkan pada perlakuan T1 yakni sebesar 33,95 sedangkan perlakuan T0 sebesar 26,69. Perlakuan galur menunjukkan hasil yang tidak berpengaruh nyata pada semua parameter pengamatan, namun dari ketiga galur yang digunakan, galur (G7) menunjukkan rata-rata hasil yang lebih tinggi daripada galur G3 dan G5. tanaman padi beras hitam yang disisipkan dengan kacang tunggak dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi beras hitam. Abstract

Bayam merah (Amaranthus tricolor L) merupakan tanaman sayuran yang selain dimanfaatkan sebagai sayuran, bayam merah juga seringkali dijadikan bahan makanan ringan seperti kripik bayam. Tanaman bayam merah memiliki kandungan gizi yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan tanaman bayam hijau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggetahui respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bayam merah akibat dari pemberian beberapa dosis POC NASA dan campuran beberapa media tanam. Percobaan ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei – Juli 2021, yang bertempat Dusun Busur Barat Desa Rempek Kecamatan Gangga Kabupaten Lombok Utara Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Percobaan ini dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi pupuk POC NASA (N) yang terdiri dari empat aras perlakuan yaitu 0 cc/1 liter air (N0), 2 cc/1 liter air (N1), 3 cc/1 liter air (N2) dan 4 cc/1 liter air (N3). Dan faktor kedua adalah media tanam (M) yang terdiri dari dua aras yaitu media tanah (M1) dan media tanah yang dicampurkan dengan serbuk gergaji (M2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian beberapa dosis POC NASA berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua paremeter pengamatan kecuali luas daun dan berat kering akar, dan penggunaan beberapa campuran media tanam hanya berpengaruh nyata  terhadap parameter jumlah daun. Pemberian POC NASA 4 cc/liter menunjukkan hasil yang paling tinggi pada semua parameter pengamatan kecuali parameter luas daun, dan penggunaan media tanam tanah yang dicampurkan dengan serbuk geregaj menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan media tanam tanah saja.Kata kunci: Bayam Merah;  POC; Media Tanam;

Abstract

Abstrak Guru professional di abad 21 ini dituntut untuk memiliki empat kompetensi yaitu kompetensi pedagogi, professional, kepribadian dan sosial. Kompetensi pedagogi guru berkaitan dengan proses belajar mengajar seperti memdesain perangkat pembelajaran dengan media berbasis IT dan implementasi model pembelajaran inovatif. Pembelajaran gamifikasi merupakan salah satu metode yang mengintegrasikan teknik game dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan yaitu FGD, workshop dan pendampingan serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Kegiatan PkM yang dilakukan di SMP ‘Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang diikuti oleh semua guru yang ada di sekolah yang berjumlah 13 orang. Kegiatan pelatihan gamifikasi terdiri dari tiga yaitu pelatihan aplikasi wordwall, quizzis dan Kahoot! Kata kunci: gamifikasi; guru; kompetensi pedagogi. Abstract Professional teachers in the 21st century are required to have four competencies, namely pedagogical, professional, personality and social competencies. Teacher pedagogical competence is related to the teaching and learning process such as designing learning tools with IT-based media and implementing innovative learning models. Gamification learning is a method that integrates game techniques in the learning process. The methods used are FGD, workshops and mentoring as well as evaluation and reflection. The PkM activities carried out at SMP 'Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang were attended by all 13 teachers at the school. Gamification training activities consist of three, namely wordwall application training, quizzis and Kahoot! Keywords: gamification; teacher; pedagogy competencies.

Abstract

The increasing snack consumption trend in Indonesia, along with the availability of processed snacks that are high in sugar, fat, and sodium but low in fiber, poses a significant challenge to digestive health. More than 40% of the global population experiences digestive disorders, often related to unhealthy eating patterns and low fiber intake. In response to this issue, an innovative healthy snack called TaroStik, made from taro vines (Colocasia esculenta) rich in fiber and nutrients, has been developed. This product comes in two forms, sticks and chips, with three flavor variants (salty, sweet, and spicy), offering a healthy snacking experience without sacrificing taste. Training on utilizing taro vines to create TaroStik was conducted in Banjarbaru, involving prospective entrepreneurs with a combined approach of theory, hands-on practice, and group discussions. Participants were trained from material selection, processing (peeling, soaking, steaming, frying), packaging, to social media marketing simulation. As a result, most participants were able to independently produce TaroStik, with some expressing intentions to continue production at a home scale. TaroStik not only provides a digestive health solution through natural snacks free of preservatives but also brings positive impacts in three areas: economy (creating business opportunities based on local ingredients), environment (reducing agricultural waste), and nutrition (increasing healthy food consumption). This innovation embodies the principles of green economy and sustainable entrepreneurship, opening new business opportunities and improving community welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Nearpod learning media on students’ logical thinking skills in the quadratic equation topic at MAN 2 Kota Palu. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: an experimental class that received instruction using Nearpod and a control class that received conventional teaching. The research instrument was a logical thinking test administered before and after the treatment. The normality test indicated that the data were not normally distributed; therefore, the Mann–Whitney U test was used for data analysis. The results showed that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of the posttest was 0.103 (> 0.05), indicating no statistically significant difference between the two groups. However, the experimental class obtained a higher Mean Rank than the control class, suggesting a descriptive improvement in students’ logical thinking skills. These findings imply that Nearpod provides a positive influence, even though the statistical effect is not significant. This study highlights that digital learning media such as Nearpod have the potential to enhance student engagement and higher-order thinking skills when implemented consistently and supported by adequate technological infrastructure

Abstract

The urgency of this study is based on the phenomenon of declining social attitudes among students in school environments, such as low levels of empathy, cooperation, and social responsibility, as well as the limited number of empirical studies examining the relationship between emotional intelligence and social attitudes in the context of Islamic junior high school education. This study aims to examine the effect of emotional intelligence on students’ social attitudes at MTs Miftahul Ulum and to analyze the extent of emotional intelligence’s contribution to the development of students’ social attitudes. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The research population consisted of all 120 students of MTs Miftahul Ulum, with a sample of 60 students selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires measuring emotional intelligence and students’ social attitudes. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression assisted by SPSS, after meeting the required assumption tests. The results indicate that emotional intelligence has a significant and positive effect on students’ social attitudes, with a significance value of 0.000. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination shows that emotional intelligence contributes 69.6% to the variation in students’ social attitudes. These findings confirm that emotional intelligence plays a strategic role in shaping students’ social attitudes in the madrasah environment.ABSTRAKUrgensi penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena melemahnya sikap sosial siswa di lingkungan sekolah, seperti rendahnya empati, kerja sama, dan tanggung jawab sosial, serta masih terbatasnya kajian empiris yang mengkaji hubungan kecerdasan emosional dan sikap sosial dalam konteks pendidikan madrasah tsanawiyah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap sikap sosial siswa di MTs Miftahul Ulum serta menganalisis besarnya kontribusi kecerdasan emosional dalam membentuk sikap sosial peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa MTs Miftahul Ulum yang berjumlah 120 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 60 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert yang mengukur kecerdasan emosional dan sikap sosial siswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana berbantuan SPSS, setelah memenuhi uji prasyarat analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap sikap sosial siswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Selain itu, hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional memberikan kontribusi sebesar 69,6% terhadap variasi sikap sosial siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kecerdasan emosional memiliki peran strategis dalam pembentukan sikap sosial peserta didik di lingkungan madrasah.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini untuk menjembatani pemikiran pendidikan klasik Islam Al-Ghazali dan filsafat pendidikan progresif John Dewey guna merumuskan pendekatan pendidikan kontemporer yang holistik, kontekstual, dan relevan dengan tantangan zaman. Pendidikan kontemporer menghadapi tantangan serius akibat globalisasi, digitalisasi, dan perubahan struktur sosial yang mendorong orientasi pragmatis sekaligus berpotensi mereduksi dimensi reflektif dan kemanusiaan. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis secara komparatif pemikiran Al-Ghazali dan John Dewey dalam konteks pendidikan kontemporer untuk menawarkan perspektif alternatif yang lebih holistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur dengan sumber data primer berupa karya Al-Ghazali Ihya’ ‘Ulum al-Din dan Ayyuha al-Walad, serta karya John Dewey Democracy and Education, yang didukung oleh literatur ilmiah nasional dan internasional bereputasi dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. Analisis dilakukan melalui pendekatan interpretatif, komparatif, dan kontekstual. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Ghazali memandang pendidikan sebagai proses penyucian jiwa dan pembentukan akhlak yang berorientasi pada kebahagiaan duniawi dan ukhrawi, sedangkan John Dewey menekankan pendidikan sebagai proses pertumbuhan berkelanjutan berbasis pengalaman, refleksi kritis, dan partisipasi demokratis. Meskipun berbeda secara epistemologis dan metafisik, kedua tokoh sama-sama menolak pendidikan yang bersifat mekanistik dan reduksionistik. Artikel ini menegaskan pentingnya sintesis nilai spiritual-etik dan pendekatan pragmatis-humanistik sebagai landasan pengembangan paradigma pendidikan kontemporer yang integratif, kontekstual, dan berorientasi pada pemanusiaan.

Abstract

Over the past decade, religious character education has re-emerged as an academic response to the moral and spiritual crisis among younger generations amid globalization and the secularization of values. Although numerous studies have examined religious character education, research that specifically constructs an integrative model based on religious activities institutionalized within madrasah culture remains relatively limited. This study aims to analyze religious activities, identify an integrative model for strengthening religious character, and examine the implications of this model at MTs Miftahul Ulum, Probolinggo Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the head of the madrasah, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students, as well as documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman. The findings indicate that religious activities such as Qur’anic recitation, congregational prayers, tahfiz programs, the 3S program (greeting, smiling, and courteous interaction), and socio-religious activities function as the core of the madrasah’s institutional culture. This study identifies an integrative model encompassing three principal domains: an integrative model of a religious curriculum within instructional processes, an integrative model of habituation and the internalization of worship practices, and an integrative model of a religious school culture. The implementation of this model strengthens students’ religious character, particularly in terms of discipline, courtesy, responsibility, learning focus, and social awareness. The study contributes theoretically by offering a contextual integrative model and provides practical implications for the long-term development of religious character education in madrasahs.

Abstract

Backgorund: Holistic education is an educational method to build humans as a whole by developing their potential which includes social-emotional potential, intellectual potential, moral or character potential as well as creativity and spirituality. Aim: The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of holistic education that forms disciplinary character in students of Elementary School Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya city. Method: This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Result and Discussions: Based on the results of the research, the implementation of holistic education at Elementary School Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya aims to form a disciplinary character in students that has been well implemented in the learning process, and emphasizes the active involvement of all parties in the disciplinary process. This approach involves intellectual, emotional, physical, social, aesthetic, and spiritual aspects. Success is achieved through various strategies, including thorough planning, collaboration with parents, use of role play methods, involving learners in rule making, consistent monitoring and evaluation, and positive interventions. Conclusions: The holistic approach in this school does not aim to homogenize learners, but to optimize individual development according to their interests and talents. And the application of appropriate strategies can effectively shape learners' disciplinary character, while creating a safe and positive learning environment.
