Abstract

Abstract. The study aims to identify the stages of development of Flipped Classroom (FC) model, which can improve students’ HOTS and the validity and practicality of the model. The research subjects were all 10th-grade students following the Crafts and Entrepreneurship subject and the subject's teacher. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interviews, questionnaire, checklist, and scale and analyzed descriptively.  The research findings show that the Crafts and Entrepreneurship subject was taught with conventional method which more dominantly involved teacher rather than students from defining stage like front end analysis, students’ analysis, task analysis, and learning goal specification analysis. The stages show that students’ ability was low, including receiving the learning material and doing the final task, which further implied their HOTS. However, their academic skill was probably relatively good. Then, the review showed that learning media was valid, effective, and practical. The findings were categorized as valid since experts performed the validation, and the trial results show a validity level of 3.16.  This study found that the learning material for the FC model was practical. The practical material was developed by implementing the input we obtained from the trial using a questionnaire to gather data about the perception of three Crafts and Entrepreneurship subject teachers and 33 students following the subject using the FC learning model and media.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce valid, practical, and effective LMS products. The development of this LMS refers to the ADDIE development model. The research was conducted at SMAN 22 Makassar in August-December 2022. There were four subjects in this study, namely media experts and material experts as validity test subjects, chemistry subject teachers and 10 students of XII MIPA 2 students as subjects for small group test and participants students in class XI MIPA 2 totaled 34 students as practical and effectiveness test subjects. The instruments used for validity were validation sheets by media experts and material experts, practicality, namely LMS learning implementation observation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and effectiveness, namely learning achievement tests. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that the developed Moodle-Based LMS was valid, practical, and effective for use in learning.

Abstract

This quasi-experimental study aims to determine the effect of the Quiz Team Method in the Discovery Learning Model on the learning outcomes of students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 7 Takalar on the buffer solution material. The posttest only control group design was carried out on class XI SMA Negeri 7 Takalar successively as the experimental class and the control class which was determined by random sampling from class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 7 Takalar as the population. This study uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained that the average learning outcomes of the experimental group were 78.9 higher than the control group, which was 76.70. The results of inferential statistical analysis on student learning outcomes showed that the experimental group and control group data came from a homogeneous population Fcount 1.59 < Ftable 1.78 but not normally distributed so that the hypothesis test used was a non-parametric statistical test, Mann-Whitney with = 0.05 obtained Zcount>Ztable (2.08>1.64). So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Quiz Team method in the Discovery Learning model on the learning outcomes of class XI MIPA students at SMA Negeri 7 Takalar on the buffer solution material.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students’ misconceptions of thermochemical matter at SMAN 8 Pinrang, and then remediate these misconceptions using a problem-based learning model based on multiple representations. The research method used is descriptive analytics. The subjects of this research were class XI F1 students. The data collection instrument used a misconception test of three-tier multiple-choice thermochemical matter with 20 items and an interview guide. Data analysis was carried out using percentages. The research results show that misconceptions occur in the concepts of system and surroundings, exotherm and endotherm, standard enthalpy formation changes, and determining enthalpy changes based on Hess's law. The misconceptions that occur in these four concepts are 1) students identify the container as a system, 2) in exothermic reactions the temperature of the system will decrease because it releases heat into the surroundings, 3) standard formation reactions are identified as being formed from molecules or other compounds, 4) many The reaction stage can affect the magnitude of the enthalpy change. The average reduction in misconceptions for these four concepts was 44% in the medium category. The average reduction in misconceptions for each student is 43% in the medium category.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 ini, bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis miskonsepsi yang dialami peserta didik kelas X IPA SMA IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar pada materi reaksi reduksi oksidasi. Penelitian deskriptif ini, menggunakan desain sequental explanatory (model 2 fasa) yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data kuantitatif yang dilanjutkan dengan penjelasan data secara kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA 2 dan X IPA 3 SMA IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes diagnostik three-tier multiple choice, angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase miskonsepsi peserta didik pada semua konsep materi redoks diatas 20%, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa peserta didik mengalami miskonsepsi pada semua konsep materi redoks. Dimana persententase pada konsep perkembangan reaksi redoks sebesar 471, %, bilangan oksidasi 24,5%, autoredoks dan konproporsionasi sebesar 37,7%, reduktor dan oksidator sebesar 39,2%, dan tata nama senyawa sebesar 54,9%. Persentase tertinggi miskonsepsi peserta didik pada materi redoks terdapat pada konsep tata nama senyawa dengan kategori M1 atau spesifik miskonsepsi. ABSTRACT The research, which was conducted in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, aims to determine the types of misconceptions experienced by students of grade X IPA SMA IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar on oxidation-reduction reaction materials. This descriptive research uses a sequential explanatory design (2-phase model) consisting of quantitative data collection followed by qualitative explanation of the data. The subjects of the study were students of grade X Science 2 and X Science 3 SMA IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar. The data collection technique used three-tier multiple choice diagnostic tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that the percentage of student misconceptions on all redox material concepts was above 20%, this indicates that students experience misconceptions on all redox material concepts. Where the percentage of tentase in the concept of redox reaction development is 47,1%, oxidation number is 24.5%, autoredox and proportionation is 37.7%, reducing and oxidizing agents is 39.2%, and compound nomenclature is 54.9%. The highest percentage of student misconceptions on redox material is found in the concept of compound nomenclature with category M1 or specific misconception.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul ajar terintegrasi green chemistry yang valid, praktis, dan efektif menggunakan ADDIE meliputi analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Penelitian di laksanakan di SMAN 9 Makassar pada Oktober-November 2023. Data pada penelitian ini yaitu kevalidan oleh 2 dosen program studi pendidikan kimia dengan intrumen kevalidan yaitu lembar validasi. Kepraktisan oleh 24 peserta didik dan 2 guru kimia dengan instrumen kepraktisan yaitu lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran modul ajar terintegrasi green chemistry, angket persepsi guru dan peserta didik serta keefektifan oleh 24 peserta didik yaitu tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: kevalidan modul ajar yang telah dikembangkan sangat valid dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 3,64 dengan konsistensi antar rater adalah 1,00. Kepraktisan modul ajar berdasarkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, persepsi guru dan peserta didik dengan rata-rata persentase kepraktisan berturut-turut sebesar 97,05%; 88,18% dan 94,79% pada kategori masing-masing sangat praktis. Keefektifan modul ajar berdasarkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI Kimia 2 SMAN 9 Makassar sebesar 84,51% dan telah memenuhi kriteria sangat efektif. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh yaitu modul ajar terintegrasi green chemistry yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. ABSTRACT This development research aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective green chemistry integrated teaching module using ADDIE including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted at SMAN 9 Makassar in October-November 2023. The data in this study are validity by 2 lecturers of the chemistry education study program with validity instruments, namely validation sheets. Practicality by 24 students and 2 chemistry teachers with practicality instruments, namely observation sheets for the implementation of green chemistry integrated teaching module learning, teacher and student perception questionnaires and effectiveness by 24 students, namely critical thinking ability tests. The results of this study are: the validity of the teaching module that has been developed is very valid with an average score of 3.64 with inter-rater consistency of 1.00. The practicality of the teaching module based on the implementation of learning, teacher and student perceptions with an average percentage of practicality of 97.05%; 88.18% and 94.79% in the category of very practical respectively. The effectiveness of teaching modules based on the critical thinking skills of students in class XI Kimia 2 SMAN 9 Makassar amounted to 84.51% and met the criteria of being very effective. The conclusion obtained is that the green chemistry integrated teaching module developed has met the criteria of valid, practical, and effective for use in learning.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan kebijakan pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan kebebasan kepada satuan pendidikan dalam menyusun dan melaksanakan kurikulum sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelatihan penyusunan asesmen berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka bagi guru-guru di SMK YPPP Wonomulyo. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif dengan mengedepankan diskusi dan praktik langsung melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan Pelatihan diawali dengan pemaparan secara teoritik dilanjutkan dengan praktek penyusunan asesmen sesuai dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu sebagai produk yang dilanjutkan melalui proses pendampingan . Hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan secara umum direspon “sangat baik” oleh 11 peserta melalui angket. Para peserta berharap kegiatan seperti ini berkelanjutan untuk lebih meningkatkan profesionalisme guru-guru. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menghasilkan guru-guru yang mengerti dan memahami cara menyusun asesmen berbasis kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di SMK YPPP Wonomulyo.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting on character formation in millennial families in Karunrung Village, Makassar City. Using quantitative methods, this study involved 160 millennial families as a purposively selected sample. Data was collected through a closed questionnaire that measured four types of parenting: authoritarian, democratic, permissive, and disengaged. The results of the regression analysis showed that democratic parenting had a positive effect on the formation of children's character, with characteristics such as independence, responsibility, and discipline. On the contrary, permissive and uninvolved parenting has a negative effect, causing children to lack discipline and tend to have problems in self-control. In addition, the use of technology by parents moderates the influence of parenting, both positively and negatively, depending on how it is used. These findings show the importance of the role of technology and balanced parenting in shaping the character of millennial children. This study recommends the use of authoritative and controlled parenting in the context of technological advances to support the development of children's character optimally.Keywords: parenting, children's character, millennial family, technology, Makassar City.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis proyek merupakan pendekatan yang inovatif dalam pendidikan tinggi, khususnya di jurusan kimia, yang bertujuan mengetahui efektifitas implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis proyek dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa jurusan. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah mahasiswa jurusan kimia FMIPA UNM Prodi Pendidikan Kimia Kelas A sebanyak 35 orang. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif pengkategorian kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui analisis N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis proyek diperoleh harga rata-rata N gain sebesar 0,53. Hal ini berarti Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa jurusan kimia dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi numerasi penting untuk dilatihkan pada siswa untuk memenuhi kualifikasi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) abad 21. Literasi numerasi ini tidak hanya mencakup kemampuan menghitung, tetapi juga memahami dan mengaplikasikan konsep matematis seperti interpretasi data dalam bentuk grafik, tabel, dan diagram dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Urgensi pentingnya literasi numerasi membuat Jurusan Kimia sebagai mitra sebagian besar sekolah di Kabupaten Gowa merasa perlu mengambil bagian dalam mengatasi permasalahan mitra salah satunya dengan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) Pelatihan penguatan literasi numerasi di kalangan guru-guru. Metode PKM yang diterapkan berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam menanamkan kemampuan literasi numerasi pada siswa. Setelah melakukan pelatihan, maka sebanyak 43 peserta telah mengerti dan memahami dengan baik terkait apa itu literasi numerasi dan bagaimana pentingnya literasi dan numerasi bagi peserta didik sebagai sebuah kemampuan yang harus dimiliki saat ini. Sehingga seorang guru harus senantiasa melakukan pengembangan kompetensi. Diharapkan kerjasama dan komunikasi dengan guru-guru matematika MGMP Kabupaten Gowa dapat terus terjalin, sehingga kolaborasi demi peningkatan profesionalisme bisa terwujud.
