The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Word of Mouth (WOM), information quality, and brand trust in increasing customer loyalty of rice seed varieties inpari 32. This research was conducted at Gapoktan Rahayu, Temu Village, Kanor District, Bojonegoro Regency. It is a research that adopts a quantitative approach. In data analysis, this study uses the PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling) method to evaluate the impact of Word of Mouth (WOM), Information Quality and Brand Trust variables on Customer Loyalty on Inpari 32 variety products. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the first hypothesis to the fifth hypothesis all had a significant effect on increasing customer loyalty for Inpari 32 variety rice seeds. Word Of Mouth (WOM) has a crucial role because it is able to direct, recommend, and provide positive information about the product. Information Quality provides information to customers that the product meets their needs completely and accurately. Brand Trust makes consumers believe in the quality and reliability of the product. Customer loyalty is reflected in their desire to continue to buy products, recommend to others, and are willing to pay more and wait for the availability of goods.

Abstract

This study evaluates the sustainability level of the silk weaving agroindustry in Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi, using a Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) approach across four dimensions: economic, social, environmental, and resource based. Data were collected from 86 silk weaving agroindustry units through surveys and structured interviews. The results show that the overall sustainability status is classified as moderately sustainable, with sustainability index values of 72% (economic), 68% (resource), 64% (social), and 53% (environmental). The economic dimension demonstrates the strongest performance, reflecting relatively stable profitability and market accessibility, while the environmental dimension exhibits the lowest score, indicating weaknesses in waste management practices, the adoption of environmentally friendly materials, and environmental standards. These findings highlight environmental management as the main leverage point for improving overall sustainability. This study contributes to applied sustainability science by providing a quantitative, multidimensional assessment framework for traditional agroindustries and offers empirical evidence to support sustainability-oriented policy formulation and the strategic development of local silk weaving enterprises.

Abstract

The palm oil supply chain plays a strategic role in Indonesia’s economy; however, it faces persistent sustainability challenges related to economic volatility, environmental impacts, and social issues. These challenges necessitate an integrated sustainability assessment across all stages of the supply chain. This study aims to evaluate the sustainability performance of the palm oil agroindustry in North Sumatra, Indonesia, by simultaneously assessing economic, environmental, and social dimensions using a Life Cycle Thinking (LCT) approach. The study applies Life Cycle Costing (LCC) to assess lifecycle costs and financial feasibility, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) using ReCiPe Midpoint (H) and USEtox methods to evaluate environmental impacts, and Social Life Cycle Assessment (SLCA) to analyze social performance. The assessment scope is cradle to gate, covering plantation activities through Crude Palm Oil (CPO) processing. Primary data were collected from 90 respondents, including workers and local communities, through surveys and interviews. Secondary data were used to compile life cycle inventories and cost structures. The results indicate that fertilization, pest and disease control, and fossil-based electricity consumption at the processing stage are the main contributors to environmental impacts, particularly global warming, eutrophication, and toxicity. Economically, the palm oil supply chain generates positive value added and is financially feasible. Social indicators generally meet minimum regulatory standards. Overall, the ecoefficiency assessment categorizes the system as affordable but not yet environmentally sustainable due to high environmental costs. The novelty of this study lies in the integrated application of LCC, LCA, and SLCA within a single cradle-to-gate framework for the palm oil agroindustry in Indonesia, enabling a comprehensive and simultaneous sustainability evaluation

Abstract

The proliferation of short-form videos, especially on platforms like TikTok, has become a powerful tourism marketing tool, influencing travelers' decisions and intentions. This study examines how the characteristics of these videos affect visit intentions, with travel inspiration and hedonic motivation as mediators, and openness to experience as a moderator. Using convenience sampling, 174 active TikTok users were surveyed and analyzed through partial least squares. The results show that short-form videos significantly influence travel inspiration, which in turn positively impacts hedonic motivation and travel intention. Travel inspiration also mediates the effect of short-form videos on both hedonic motivation and travel intention. Furthermore, openness to experience enhances the relationship between short-form videos and travel intention. All eight hypotheses tested were found to have a positive and significant effect, indicating that short-form videos effectively shape travel decisions through various motivational factors.
