Abstract

Education based on the local culture as the form of local wisdom would be better to form the character and develop students’ potentials than education based on the foreign cultures. The objective of the study was to improve students’ knowledge and understanding on the pattern development of economic activity at the community who retained its local wisdom. Kuta village is located at Karangpaningal Village, Tambaksari District, Ciamis Regency which is one of the traditional villages which maintains its traditions in harmony with nature. It was a qualitative study and the data were collected through interviews, observation, and literature study. The results of this study were: 1). There was a development of the community’s livelihood at Kuta Village; 2) .The scope of economic activity was still in the micro scale; 3). There was a technological transformation in natural resource management. Then; it is recommended that the local wisdom was very suitable to be the subject materials in the form of narratives, stories, posters, or comics.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students’ knowledge and understanding on pattern development of economic activity on community that retain its local wisdom. Kuta village is located at Karangpaningal Village, Tambaksari District, Ciamis Regency. It is one of traditional villages which still maintains its traditions in harmony with nature. The research was a qualitative study and data were collected by using interviews, observation, and literature study. Findings show that there is a development of the community’s livelihood at Kuta Village. The scope of economic activity is still in micro scale. Then, there is a technological transformation in natural resource management. Therefore, it is very clear that local wisdom is very suitable for subject materials in the form of narratives, stories, posters, or comics.

Abstract

Menerapkan pelayanan prima menjadi suatu keharusan disetiap lingkungan didalam instansi komersil maupun non-komersil untuk dapat meningkatkan jiwa kompetitif setiap bagiannya. Sederhananya, pelayanan prima (excellent service) merupakan pelayanan untuk memenuhi standar kualitas yang sesuai dengan harapan dan kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui implementasi pelayanan prima yang dilaksanakan Universitas Siliwangi dan juga kendala yang dihadapi instansi Universitas Siliwangi dalam merealisasikan pelayanan prima disetiap unit pelayanannya. Metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi digunakan sebagai prosedur dalam acuan dan arahan untuk menyelesaikan penelitian, adapun key informan yang terdiri dari kepala bagian akademik dan kemahasiswaan (1 Orang), karyawan pusat informasi dan pelayanan terpadu (2 Orang), dosen (3 Orang) dan mahasiswa Universitas Siliwangi (4 Orang) akan di interview untuk mendapatkan data-data terkait pelayanan prima. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa Universitas Siliwangi sudah melakukan yang terbaik dalam merevitalisasi berbagai layanan kepada mahasiswa, dengan menerapkan standar mutu pelayanan dari Undang-undang pelayanan publik yang baru nomor 25 Tahun 2009 menjadi pedoman berbagai instansi layanan masyarakat. Sedangkan layanan yang harus dilengkapi diantaranya tempat parkir yang masih kurang representatif, staff tenaga kependidikan dilengkapi fasilitas penunjang perangkat komputer serta alur gambar layanan pusat informasi dan pelayanan terpadu (PINTU). Implementing excellent service becomes a necessity in every environment in commercial and non-commercial agencies to be able to increase the competitive spirit of each part. Simply put, excellent service (excellent service) is a service to meet quality standards in accordance with customer expectations and satisfaction. This study aims to determine the implementation of excellent service carried out by Siliwangi University and also the obstacles faced by Siliwangi University agencies in realizing excellent service in each service unit. The qualitative method with a phenomenological approach is used as a procedure in referencing and directing to complete research, while key informants consist of heads of academic and student affairs (1 person), information center employees and integrated services (2 people), lecturers (3 people) and students Siliwangi University (4 people) will be interviewed to get data related to excellent service. The results of the study found that Siliwangi University has done its best in revitalizing various services to students, by applying service quality standards from the new Public Service Law number 25 of 2009 to guide various community service agencies. While services that must be completed include a parking lot that is still less representative, educational staff is equipped with supporting facilities for computer equipment as well as an integrated information center and PINTU service flow chart.

Abstract

Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian analisis deskriptif, diperoleh hasil penelitian mengenai gambaran pedagogical content knowledge (PCK), kemampuan kognitif siswa dan pengaruh PCK merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri se-Kota Tasikmalaya. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui gambaran PCK dan kemampuan kognitif siswa, dan analisis regresi linier sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh PCK terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, PCK guru ekonomi dan kemampuan kognitif siswa SMA Negeri Kota Tasikmalaya berada pada kondisi sedang. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah terdapat pengaruh PCK terhadap tingkat kemamppuan kognitif siswa. Artinya, jika terjadi peningkatan pada PCK guru maka kemampuan kognitif siswa juga akan meningkat.

Abstract

The flipped class method was implemented to observe the difference of student scores before and after applied. The method of research was classroom action research in two cycles. The population were Department of Economics Education’s students of Siliwangi University. Technique sampling in this study was purposive sampling with a total sample 77 students. Data analysis was carried out in two ways, descriptive analysis and t-test comparison test. The average score of student before implementing flipped classroom method was 69.247, after the first cycle the student pretest score was 69.714, and the average student score at the end of the second cycle was 80.104. The t-statistic value was 15,895 greater than 1,99167 (t table 5%). Based on these results, it can be concluded that student scores has increased significantly after the flipped classroom implemented in online learning (synchronous and asynchronous) at the Department of Economics Education, University of Siliwangi

Abstract

Lingkungan kerja yang kurang representatif bagi karyawan dipandang para ahli sebagai hal yang tidak efektif dan efisien. Tidak representatifnya lingkungan kerja menjadi ancaman utama yang mengakibatkan menurunnya kinerja karyawan dan menyebabkan ketidakberhasilan dalam pencapaian kerja di perusahaan. Munculnya permasalahan tersebut menjadi dasar keterkaitan bahwa lingkungan kerja dapat memberikan stimulus pada kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian explanatory research dengan metode survei kepada 22 responden. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan adalah analisis statistik inferensial, yang merupakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS 20.0. Dari hasil uji parsial dinyatakan bahwa aksesibilitas lingkungan kerja fisik tidak berpengaruh signifikan pada kinerja karyawan, sedangkan lingkungan kerja non-fisik menginterprestasikan sebaliknya. Secara simultan terdapat pengaruh signifikan aksesibilitas lingkungan kerja pada kinerja karyawan. Sejatinya penerapan aksesibilitas lingkungan kerja dapat direalisasikan secara holistik sehingga akan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan BPR Syariah Al-Madinah Kota Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

This study aimed at scrutinising the decision making of trade off students related to (Tuition Assistance for Deprived and Excellent Students) BIDIKMISI scholarship allocations. The decision was made based on each individual priority, reasonable selections and utility of scholarship users. Technically, descriptive qualitative method was deployed as the research design. The participants of this study were the Economic Education Department students at Siliwangi University. The data were collected through observation, interview, and document analysis. The findings demonstrated that most of scholarship allocations were utilised for fulfilling non-academic needs, notably 87%. Meanwhile, 13% of it were allocated for academic requirements. Viewed from the scholarship users’ perspectives, they preferred to select and employ scholarship for non-academic needs, such as entertainment and travelling instead of academic needs.

Abstract

The background is the low intention of entrepreneurship in Siliwangi University Economic Education students. With the aim of knowing the effect of Entrepreneurship Education and Self-Efficacy on the Intention of Entrepreneurial Students of the Siliwangi University Economic Education class of 2015-2018. The explanatory survey method was used to complete the study, with the population of all students of the Siliwangi University Economic Education class of 2015-2018 totaling 503 students. While the sample technique used was random sampling by taking 223 students representing each class. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS v.23 for Windows. The results showed that entrepreneurship education had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions by 17.9% and obtained t_count> t_table (2.215> 1.6518), sig t = 0.028 <α = 0.05. Continued Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions of 61.1% and obtained t_ (count)> t table (15.1969> 1.6518), sig t = 0.000 <α = 0.05. Entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy were simultaneously obtained positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention of 61.8% and obtained F_count> F table (180.433> 3.0368), Sig F = 0,000 <α = 0.05.Keyword: Entrepreneurship, Intention, Students

Abstract

The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic has affected significant changes to people's consumption patterns, notably family food needs. The policy of restricting activities imposed by the government has switched family consumption patterns to instant food. One of them is Frozen Food. Frozen Food is a type of food processed food products increasingly favoured by the public during the pandemic. This is due to its durability and practicality to consume. The non-productive groups of Beneficiary Families (Kelompok Penerima Manfaat) of the Family Hope Program or Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in Cinunjang and Giriwangi Villages, Gunung Tanjung District, Tasikmalaya Regency experienced problems in obtaining food supplies during the pandemic. This occurred because majority of them still rely on the social assistance of central government to support their economic life. The activities of the current program encompassed three stages, namely preparation, briefing, and implementation and evaluation. This program adopted the andragogy approach. Practically, the activities were performed to 15 Hope Family Program groups in Cinunjang and Giriwangi. They were trained to have better knowledge in understanding and practicing how to produce frozen food in nuggets. Also, they were guided to promote it commercially as a new prospective food business during the pandemic. The results of training program run effectively. The participants were successfully be able to implement the training materials productively and independently.

Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak and the enactment of the "New Normal" era created a tentative situation, especially with limited food commodities for the needs of all people during times of food insecurity. Food products are limited in number and prices are increasingly soaring in the market, making people have a solution to resistance from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the "New Normal" era, by realizing a sustainable food home area (KRPL), the community of housewives can meet their food needs, in addition to It is also a breakthrough that can provide an injection to the family economy if it is developed comprehensively. The activity will take place with the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach focusing on the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) group where each group will be limited to 20 people / group, besides that the implementation of education and counseling will apply health protocols according to the direction of the central government. It is hoped that the realization of a sustainable food house area (KRPL) will provide stimulus and solutions to the community so that they can survive, be productive and be independent in this pandemic. Keywords: Food, Commodities, Asset Based Community Development (ABCD).
