Abstract

This study is based on the phenomenon of low cognitive ability scores in economics subjects in grade XI at SMAN 1 Jatiwaras. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference in the improvement of cognitive ability in students who apply the discovery learning model aided by a jeopardy game compared to the conventional model aided by PowerPoint. Using an experimental method that employs a quasi-experimental design of the nonequivalent control group type, two classes were obtained as samples with 34 students each based on purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique was by observation using a cognitive ability test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference in the improvement of students' cognitive abilities through the discovery learning model aided by jeopardy games with the conventional model aided by PowerPoint based on a significance of 0.001, which means that the hypothesis is accepted. However, the class that applied the conventional model with the help of PowerPoint was seen to be superior because it was the class with the highest cognitive ability scores in economics, even though the class that applied the discovery learning model with the help of jeopardy games experienced a higher increase in cognitive ability based on the scores before and after being given treatment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that occur, at SMAN 5 Tasikmalaya, namely the low student learning outcomes. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with The Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results showed that there were differences in the improvement of student learning outcomes seen from the average value of the posttest of the experimental class 1 which was 87.56, the average value of the posttest of the experimental class 2 which was 81.14, and the average value of the posttest of the control class which was 73.60. These results prove that the comparison in experimental class 1 can improve student learning outcomes better than the learning process in experimental class 2 and control class with international trade material in class XI IPS SMAN 5 Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

Keberhasilan ajaran konfusius yang dianut etnis tionghoa untuk menjalankan wirausaha menjadikan mahasiswa tertarik dalam mempelajari kewirausahaan disamping itu profesi wirausaha yang didoiminasi etnis tionghoa dijadikan sebagai sebagai suatu simbol dari keberhasilan dan kesuksesan. Ajaran konfusius menerapkan kemanusiaan, hubungan, kesopanan, keberanian, kebijaksanaan, dapat dipercaya dan kesetiaan yang diadaptasikan pada kehidupan sehari-harinya dalam berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjadikan ajaran konfusius yang melekat pada etnis tionghoa dalam bidang wirausaha dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran pendidikan karakter kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan interaksi simbolik dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui interview, observasi lapangan, dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitiannya mengenai 1) Sumber pembelajaran ajaran konfusius yang diadaptasikan pada kewirausahaan sangat dinamis dan relevan terhadap perkembangan pendidikan kewiraushaan, 2) Ajaran konfusius dipandang sesuai dalam menumbuhkan karakter sejati entrepreneur dan 3) Etnis tionghoa dipandang repersentatif sebagai teladan dalam lingkungan aktivitas ekonomi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial motivation, and the need for achievement on entrepreneurial inteThis study aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial motivation, and the need for achievement on entrepreneurial intentions through self-efficacy. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The place of implementation of this research is at SMK Islamiyah Tasikmalaya. Sampling technique with saturated samples of as many as 182. Data analysis using path analysis. The results show: that entrepreneurship education affects efficacy; entrepreneurial motivation affects self-efficacy; the need for achievement affects self-efficacy; entrepreneurship education does not affect entrepreneurial intentions; Entrepreneurial motivation does not affect entrepreneurial intentions; the need for achievement does not affect entrepreneurial intentions; self-efficacy has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions;  entrepreneurship education influences entrepreneurial intentions through efficacy; Entrepreneurial motivation affects entrepreneurial intentions through self-efficacy; and the need for achievement affects entrepreneurial intentions through efficacy.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the influence of entrepreneurial passion and family support on entrepreneurial success. Explanatory survey is a research method that will be used in a population of 55 business groups with members of 191 students receiving Business Facilitation and Student Creative Business (FUBKM) of Siliwangi University. The purposive sampling technique used by considering the criteria that student efforts facilitated by Siliwangi University are still running, a total of 42 business groups consisting of 140 students. The results of the study explained that there is a significant influence both partial and simultaneous between entrepreneurial passion and family support on entrepreneurial success.
