Abstract

Environmental awareness is crucial for fostering responsible behaviors towards the environment, and understanding the variations among different educational settings can inform targeted educational strategies. This study aims to examine differences in environmental awareness among students from three types of secondary educational institutions—Senior High Schools (SMA), Vocational Schools (SMK), and Islamic Senior High Schools (Madrasah Aliyah)—using a descriptive-comparative quantitative approach. Furthermore, it seeks to explore the implications of students’ environmental awareness on the development of their naturalistic intelligence, particularly through experiential learning activities that address real-world ecological challenges. Data had been collected using a structured questionnaire that had been compiled and analyzed using the RASCH program. Based on the results of the analysis using the Ministeps (RASCH) program, 25 items of the environmental awareness rating scale instrument were obtained from 240 subjects from senior high schools, vocational schools, and Madrasah Aliyah. The data analysis technique in this research applied Kruskal-Wallis. The result of this research showed that the level of environmental awareness of students in the public senior high school was higher than Madrasah Aliyah, followed by the vocational school. Increased environmental awareness has the potential to stimulate students' naturalistic intelligence, fostering a deeper understanding of ecological systems and promoting sustainable behaviours through experiential learning activities that address real-world environmental issues.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the self-efficacy profile of pre-service teachers from the Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education Program at Universitas Islam Negeri Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary in Padangsidimpuan, specifically focusing on their science teaching self-efficacy. Using a descriptive quantitative research design with a survey method, the study utilized a 26-item self-efficacy questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively, calculating the average percentage of students who demonstrated self-efficacy for each criterion within the corresponding indicators. The research involved 180 out of 207 fifth-semester students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year. A Google Form survey, structured according to the Science Teaching Self-Efficacy Belief Instrument (STEBI), assessed two key indicators: Science Teaching Outcome Expectancy (STOE) and Personal Science Teaching Efficacy (PSTE). Modifications were made to align the indicators with the specific context and characteristics of the participants. Additionally, a small group of respondents was interviewed. Findings revealed that 14.2% of students strongly agreed with the PSTE criterion, while 54.9% agreed. For STOE, 20.7% strongly agreed, and 51.1% agreed. When combining both indicators, 68.9% of students exhibited a high level of self-efficacy in PSTE, and 71.8% in STOE. Overall, the majority of aspiring MI/SD teachers demonstrated high self-efficacy in their science teaching abilities.Keywords: MI/SD pre-service teacher students; self-efficacy; science learning

Abstract

Acids and bases are one of the chemistry learning materials that are studied in class XI SMA/MA. Acids and bases are contextual and have a lot of relevance in everyday life. Additionally, acids and bases are prerequisites for studying some other chemistry. Therefore, appropriate learning models or strategies and teaching materials are needed. One of them is the use of contextual learning-based e-modules. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and on effectiveness of developing an acid-base e-module based on contextual teaching and learning for class XI SMA/MA. This form of study is an educational design research that uses the Plomp model which consists of three stages, namely the preliminary research, the prototyping phase, and the assessment phase. The assessment phase is not carried out. The results showed that e-modules had content, construct, and media validity values of 0.87, 0.88, and 0.89 respectively with valid categories, practicality according to teachers 88.52% with very practical categories and practicality according to students 85.10% with practical category. The average N-gain value for the effectiveness test is 0.7 with the high effectiveness category. The results of this study indicate that the developed e-module is valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and digitalization, education is required to produce students who not only understand scientific knowledge but also possess critical thinking skills, scientific literacy, and readiness to face future challenges. One of the chemistry topics considered complex and abstract is chemical bonding; therefore, innovative, interactive, and contextual learning media are needed. This study aims to develop E-Chemagz based on Chemoentrepreneurship as a digital learning media on the chemical bonding topic for Phase F senior high school students to enhance their chemical literacy. This research utilized the Plomp development model through an educational design research approach consisting of three stages: preliminary research, prototype phase, and assessment phase. Media validity was assessed by experts, resulting in an average score of 0.9525, indicating the “valid” category. Practicality tests were conducted by teachers and students, each obtaining an average score of 0.97, which falls into the “very practical” category. The results indicate that E-Chemagz is capable of presenting the material in a visual, interactive, and applicable manner while integrating the values of chemical entrepreneurship. This media not only improves students' contextual understanding of chemical bonding concepts but also supports the development of their chemical literacy. Therefore, E-Chemagz is considered feasible to be used as an innovative digital learning media in senior high school chemistry education. ABSTRAKDi era globalisasi dan digitalisasi, pendidikan dituntut untuk menghasilkan peserta didik yang tidak hanya memahami ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis, literasi sains, serta kesiapan menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Salah satu materi kimia yang dianggap kompleks dan abstrak adalah ikatan kimia, sehingga diperlukan media pembelajaran yang inovatif, interaktif, dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Chemagz berbasis Chemoentrepreneurship sebagai media pembelajaran digital pada materi ikatan kimia Fase F SMA guna meningkatkan literasi kimia peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp melalui pendekatan educational design research yang terdiri dari tiga tahap: preliminary research, prototype phase, dan assessment phase. Validitas media diperoleh dari hasil penilaian para ahli dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 0,9525 yang menunjukkan kategori Valid. Uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh guru dan peserta didik, masing-masing memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 0,97 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-Chemagz mampu menyajikan materi secara visual, interaktif, dan aplikatif serta mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan kimia. Media ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep ikatan kimia secara kontekstual, tetapi juga mendukung pengembangan literasi kimia peserta didik. Dengan demikian, E-Chemagz layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran digital inovatif dalam pembelajaran kimia tingkat SMA.

Abstract

The Buffer Solution Student Worksheet (LKPD), developed using the Guided Inquiry Learning model and incorporating ethnoscience elements, has been validated by experts and rated as highly practical. However, its effectiveness in enhancing student outcomes had not been previously evaluated. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the ethnoscience-integrated LKPD in enhancing students’ chemical literacy, specifically in the domains of context, content knowledge, and competence. A quasi-experimental approach was employed, using a non-equivalent control group design. The participants were 11th-grade students (Phase F) from UNP Laboratory Development Senior High School. Two classes were selected through purposive, homogenous sampling: XI F4 as the experimental group and XI F6 as the control group. The instrument used was a 15-question multiple-choice test measuring chemical literacy, which was validated for reliability, difficulty, and discrimination index. Findings revealed that the experimental group achieved an average N-Gain score of 0.628, categorized as moderately effective, while the control group scored 0.495, indicating lower effectiveness. An independent samples t-test conducted at a ? = 0,05 significance level showed tcount (3,649) > ttable (1,672), leading to the rejection of the H0 hypothesis. Consequently, the results suggest that the ethnoscience-based guided inquiry LKPD effectively improves students’ chemical literacy. ABSTRAKLembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) larutan penyangga berbasis Guided Inquiry Learning terintegrasi etnosains telah dinyatakan valid dan sangat praktis berdasarkan hasil uji ahli, namun belum teruji efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas LKPD larutan penyangga berbasis guided inquiry learning terintegrasi etnosains untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi kimia peserta didik aspek konteks, pengetahuan dan kompetensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi-experimental, desain non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI Fase F SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Sampel terdiri dari kelas XI F4 (eksperimen) dan XI F6 (kontrol) yang  ditentukan dengan teknik purposive, homogenous sampling. Data didapatkan melalui tes pilihan ganda literasi kimia sebanyak 15 soal yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, dan tingkat kesukarannya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan rata-rata skor N-Gain literasi kimia kelas eksperimen 0,628 (cukup efektif), sedangkan kelas kontrol 0,495 (kurang efektif). Perbedaan ini diperkuat melalui uji (t) sebagai uji hipotesis dengan taraf signifikansi ? = 0,05, menunjukkan bahwa thitung (3,649) > ttabel (1,672) sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, kemampuan literasi kimia peserta didik di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan  kelas kontrol, sehingga LKPD larutan penyangga berbasis Guided Inquiry Learning terintegrasi etnosains efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi kimia peserta didik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji efektivitas media pembelajaran asam basa terintegrasi Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap literasi digital siswa Fase F SMA. Penelitian menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest yang dilaksanakan pada satu kelas XI di SMA Negeri 5 Padang. pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 25 siswa.. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket literasi digital, tes pilihan ganda dan lembar observasi guru. Data angket literasi digital diolah dengan menggunakan skala likert, data instrument tes pilihan ganda diolah dengan uji n-gain, normalitas dan hipotesis . Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh rata-rata skor literasi digital siswa mencapai 81,4% dengan nilai n-gain sebesar 0,703 yang berada pada kategori sedang, serta hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest (sig. < 0,001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis AR efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital siswa, terutama pada aspek akses digital, visualisasi informasi, dan literasi saintifik. Meskipun demikian, efektivitas media masih dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan perangkat teknologi dan pengawasan guru dalam penggunaannya. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi AR secara lebih luas dalam pembelajaran sains sebagai inovasi pedagogis untuk memperkuat kompetensi digital siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berperan penting dalam memfasilitasi pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi ajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas media pembelajaran larutan penyangga terintegrasi Augmented Reality terhadap literasi digital peserta didik fase F SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Pre-Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest Design dimana popolasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari seluruh peserta didik kelas XI Fase F SMA Negeri 5 Padang semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari satu kelas eksperimen yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes, angket dan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain dan uji-t untuk hasil tes, serta skala Likert untuk angket dan observasi. Hasil dari analisis tes hasil belajar diperoleh N-Gain sebesar 0,633 dalam kategori sedang dan pada uji-t diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar < 0,001, yang menandakan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Selain itu, angket literasi digital peserta didik diperoleh sebesar 80,87% dengan kategori efektif. Berdasarkan analisis lembar observasi guru yang diperoleh menunjukkan rata-rata 87% dengan kategori sangat baik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran larutan penyangga terintegrasi Augmented Reality efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital serta mendukung proses pembelajaran yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

The learning process on chemical equilibrium material at Public Senior High School 1 Padang tends to use a teacher-centered learning model. This resulted in students' critical thinking skills did not develop because students were not actively involved in the learning process so it had an impact on student learning outcomes. Thus, the guided inquiry learning model can be one solution so that students can be actively involved. To maximize the implementation of the guided inquiry learning syntax, a learning system is applied, namely lesson study for the learning community. In lesson study-based learning for the learning community, learning will be planned and reflected on an ongoing basis. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model based on lesson study for learning community on chemical equilibrium material on student learning outcomes at PUBLIC SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 Padang. The research method is a quasi-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. Based on hypothesis testing with the Mann-Whitney test at a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05), the value of asymp sig. is <0.001. Then the value of asymp sig. (<0.001) <α (0.05), it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model based on lesson study for learning community on chemical equilibrium material affects student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Demam berdarah dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, dan DENV-4 yang ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus. Angka kejadian kasus DBD di Indonesia masih cenderung tinggi, yakni sebanyak 143.266 kasus dengan 1.237 kematian pada tahun 2022. Parameter laboratorium yang penting dalam menentukan tingkat keparahan DBD antara lain persentase hematokrit dan jumlah trombosit. Peningkatan kadar hematokrit dapat mengindikasikan hemokonsentrasi akibat penurunan volume cairan dan peningkatan persentase sel darah merah. Trombositopenia disebabkan oleh reaksi silang protein NS1 dan supresi megakariosit di sumsum tulang. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis korelasi persentase hematokrit dan jumlah trombosit dengan tingkat keparahan pasien dewasa demam berdarah dengue di RSUD Cibabat Kota Cimahi selama Agustus–September 2023. Metode pada penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif metode observasional deskriptif analitik dengan desain potong lintang. Analisis korelasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Spearman. Data penelitian yang mencakup diagnosis pasien dan hasil laboratorium diambil dari data rekam medis RSUD Cibabat Kota Cimahi dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 102 pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keparahan yang paling banyak diderita pasien adalah DBD derajat I. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara persentase hematokrit (p=0,000; r=0,412) dan jumlah trombosit (p=0,000;r=-0,788) dengan tingkat keparahan DBD. Simpulan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan persentase hematokrit dan penurunan jumlah trombosit meningkatkan keparahan pasien dewasa yang didiagnosis DBD di RSUD Cibabat Kota Cimahi. AbstractDengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease caused by DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3 and DENV-4 which is transmitted through the bite of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. The incidence of DHF cases in Indonesia is known to be high, with 143,266 cases and 1,237 deaths in 2022. Cimahi is a DHF endemic area. Laboratory parameters that are important in determining the severity of DHF include the percentage of hematocrit and platelet count. Increased hematocrit levels may indicate hemoconcentration due to decreased fluid volume and increased red blood cell percentage. Thrombocytopenia caused by NS1 protein cross-reaction and suppression of megakaryocytes in the bone marrow. This study purposed to analyze the correlation of hematocrit percentage and platelet count with the severity of adult patients with dengue hemorrhagic fever at Cibabat Hospital, Cimahi City during August–September 2023. This study was observational analytic with Cross-sectional design. Data analysis used Spearman test. The research data which included patient diagnosis and laboratory results were taken from the medical record data of RSUD Cibabat Cimahi City with a total sample of 102 patients. The results showed that the most common severity level suffered by patients was first-degree DHF. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between hematocrit percentage (p=0.000; r=0.412) and platelets count (p=0.000; r=-0.788) with the severity of DHF. It can be concluded that an increase in hematocrit percentage and a decrease in platelet count increase the severity of adult patients diagnosed with DHF at Cibabat Hospital, Cimahi City.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to formulate the future strategies for warehouse receipt system corporation (PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya) in Geneng Village, Geneng Sub-District, Ngawi Regency. This research uses Boston Consulting Group matrix analysis and use secondary data from BAPPEBTI as warehouse receipt system (WRS) regulator. Using data from BAPPEBTI (2020-2021) that consist of 7 rice commodity WRS managers, then reduced to 4 rice commodity WRS managers including PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya. The management of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya Strategy decide to conduct strategic formulation using BCG matrix analysis between PT. Tjipinang Jaya Food Station and also 3 of its competitors during 2020-2021 for the rice commodity WRS business. And the results of this analysis it is known that PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya has a market share of 47.20% and a market growth of 51.59%. Meanwhile, the relative market share value of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya is 0.513 times. PT. Tjipinang Jaya Food Station is in quadrant II (0.513 : 51.59%), namely the STARS quadrant. In this quadrant shows the performance of PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya with high market growth and relatively high market share. In the STARS quadrant, the strategy adopted by PT. Tjipinang Jaya Food Station is a strategy related to improving warehouse receipt system services consist of : integration strategies (backward, forward and horizontal), market penetration strategy, market development strategy and product development strategy.
