Abstract

Faculty of Computer Science (Filkom) Universitas Brawijaya is one of the educational institutions that already has a web-based information systems that can be used to record, process and provide informations to facilitate the deployment of information related to teaching and learning activities up to academic services. However, there are several formerly documents of academic activities that are still documented manually, one of them is Field Work Practice activities. Based on the interview with the students, it was found that the activites of Field Work Practice that has not been computerized well caused its process become ineffective and inefficient, which also affected the user experience. This study uses the User Journey Mapping method that can dig deeper the problems based on the user experience and provide the ideas of solutions towards the problems. The stages that carried out in this study are identification of the actors, identification of the activities then mapping it to the User Journey Retrospective, mapping the thoughts, emotions, and ideas of solutions, and then checking the User Journey Retrospective map, and finally mapping the Prospective User Journey based on the ideas of solution which obtained by the User Journey Retrospective map. Mapping of User Journey Prospective is done by creating a scenario of the Field Work Practice which integrated with the Filkom Apps information systems. The final results of the study indicate that the User Journey Prospective map is accordance with the idea of ​​solution given towards the problems that are available on the User Journey Retrospective map.

Abstract

Ngalup.co Working Space is a company located in City of Malang that provides working space compilation service, event hall, and meeting room. Website of Ngalup.co Working Space provides information about company profile, services, event held, partnership, pricing, testimony, and blog. For a website that gives information about company and its services must have a good user interface design to improve user experience of website's users. User experience of Ngalup.co Working Space's website assessed by User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) using six scales: Attrativeness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependabilty, Stimulation, and Novelty. The aims of the study were to find out quality level of user experience and redesign website of Ngalup.co Working Space to improve user experience by using User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Evaluating a website for a company is an important thing to meet user needs. The result of UEQ were need to imrpoves on all scale of UEQ especially at perspicuit and dependabilty scale that user understanding of given information. Redesign user interface website of Ngalup.co Working Space improve its user experience at all scales.

Abstract

Department of Cooperatives and Micro enterprises of Malang (Dinkop Malang) is a government agency engaged in cooperatives and micro businesses. The Dinkop Malang has a website that is used to spread information to the public, but the existing website needs to be improved to the problems such as sidebar that is too long, the content arrangement and use of the terms that are less appropriate, and writing style that is too small. Improvements are adapting the Human Centered Design (HCD) method, that is an iterative approach of system development with human consideration as the center of its activities so that the results obtained according to the needs of its user. The HCD stages are analysis the context of use, user requirements analysis, produce design solution, and evaluate the design solution. The results of the research is the improvement of the user interface design and comparison of usability achievements between the results of the initial evaluation and the final evaluation. In the results of the comparison on the aspects of effectiveness obtained 48% achievement in the initial evaluation to 100% at the final evaluation. On the efficiency aspect obtained average initial working time of 130.6 seconds to 36.91 second in final evaluation. The results of the comparison of user satisfaction aspects using the WEBUSE questionnaire obtained an enhancement in each WEBUSE category with the initial design value is moderate improved to good. The questionnaire selection is based on the reliability and satisfactory response from users. From the results of the comparison obtained, the improvement of the user interface design of Dinkop Malang website is able to answer the problems that exist in the initial design.

Abstract

Traveloka, Tiket.com and Pegipegi are applications as service providers that accommodate the distribution and sale of transportation tickets online. The number of users of a product or application, certainly does not guarantee user experience satisfaction from an application. At present the three e-ticketing applications are able to offer proposed values ​​that can be felt by users when running or using an application. Proposed value is used to provide experience and meet user needs in using the application. This can be utilized in the development of an online based application, namely Traveloka, Tiket.com, and Pegi - Pegi. The application has the value offered to users and the perceived value of user experience. This study aims to evaluate the value that has been given and felt by users using the UX Honeycomb method that can explain the quality of user experience. In UX Honeycomb there are seven aspects namely useful, usable, desirable, findable, accessible, credible, and valueable. The UX Honeycomb aspect will be ranked to get the comparison evaluation results from the proposed value and perceived value in each application. Based on the comparison of the proposed values ​​and the perceived value of each application that needs to be improved on Traveloka is desirable, for Tiket.com, which needs to be improved is findable, while the activities that need to be improved are valueable.

Abstract

In the Software Engineering (RPL) class X of SMK Negeri 8 Malang, it can be seen that the learning process is still conventional so students cannot understand basic programming materials, students have difficulty learning independently because they do not have learning resources. So it is necessary to conduct research on Interactive Learning Media Development for Class X Basic Programming Subjects at SMK Negeri 8 MALANG Using the APPED Model. The APPED research model has 5 steps: initial analysis and research, design, production, evaluation and dissemination. The results of ongoing evaluations with three aspect criteria get valid results. At the alpha testing stage the material validator obtained a value of 70.00 in the "good" category, 72.00 in the "good" category by the media validator, and a value of 92.00 in the "very good" category by the instructor validator. The results of beta testing conducted on 3 students based on the level of student ability on an average pretest obtained by 70%, while the average posttest results obtained by 86.6% so that there is an increase in student learning outcomes. The normality test results have normal distribution data with sig> 0.05. The standard deviation results are 9.21, the significance results are 0.00, so it is concluded that at the level of sig there are differences. Based on the results of different trials conducted, the interactive learning media can be disseminated.

Abstract

Go-jek is an app created by PT. Karya Anak Bangsa. Go-jek work with drivers all over Indonesia which they called partner. These drivers have their own application. Service improvement in Go-jek Driver application for the past year affected partner in doing their job. Data gathered using 100 curves are divided into 5 point of view including general UX, attractiveness, ease of use, utility, and degree of usage. In total, each point of view contain 20 curves. The curves then compiled to form a graphic which categorized into improving, deteriorating and stable, following the direction of the curve. From the data gathered, it generate 46 improving curve, 32 deteriorating curve and 22 stable curve. Nevertheless, every reason for movement also calculated to measure what are the reason that each respondent has for the change in curve that has been portrayed. The reason contain positive and negative reasons which categorized into 2 perception, pragmatic and hedonic. The result showed that this application has 427 reason in total from every point of view. The relation to the user satisfaction and recommendation concluded by connecting attractiveness point of view and the final result of questionnaire. Moreover, user satisfaction can be seen by looking at how respondent recommend both application to their friends.

Abstract

Crowdfunding is a funding technique for projects or business units that involve the community at large. The concept of crowdfunding was first coined in the United States in 2003 with the launch of a site called Artistshare. In Indonesia, Crowdfunding is still not very popular, but has enormous potential to become an investment fund collection instrument. The crowdfunding application in Indonesia was used as research, namely Kitabisa, Tunaikita and Akseleran. Each offers product value to make users interested in accessing the crowdfunding application. In this study, user experience was learned from crowdfunding applications used in Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the value of the three crowdfunding applications in Indonesia. Evaluating the third value of the Crowdfunding application, researchers used the UX Honeycomb method that can explain the quality of user experience, with 7 aspects of value in it which are accessible, findable, desirable, credible, usable, useful and valueable. From the seven values on the Honeycomb UX, a comparison of proposed value and perceived value ranks was obtained. The comparison results of proposed value and perceived value on Kitabisa have different values in accessible and useful values. Tunaikita has different values in value accessible, credible, useful and useable. Akseleran has a different value in the value of desireable, useable and valuable.

Abstract

The application of the AlgoritmaKopi mobile device is an application that is on the Google is a mobile application that has features “ngulik kopi” in the form of a tool to help application users who are interested in brewing coffee. “kulikan terbaru” in the form of notes from users on the results of steaks that have been done, the latest events which are event-related content from various shops that are currently or will be held, and there are also recognizable features that contain content related to the coffee industry in Indonesia. “The purpose of this study was due to complaints about the application of the Coffee Algorithm that emerged, from these complaints including content that could not be opened, the portion of the image that was too large for the size of an application, content was still messy, and application navigation was still confusing. The purpose of this study is to find out the problems experienced by users whether it is true, and also provide recommendations regarding problems that exist. Based on the initial test found 5 problems, namely the size of the writing is less large, the placement of menus, buttons, icons, the color of the writing is not in contrast, the display is less dynamic, and there are still bugs in the application. Improvements made are improving the initial appearance of the application, replacing better icons, eliminating non-contrasting colors, adding some relevant features related to the application.” From the results of the scenarios done, the value of the number of clicks during task completion is 5.9 clicks, for the time per completed task performance is 74.6 seconds, while the task success rate is 0.92, and for error during task performance is 1.33 of the total steps taken.

Abstract

Medizi is the web based application which enhanced from previous application using another channel called EDC (Electronic Data Capture). This application is used to facilitate the claim process for member of insurance in hospitals or clinic. Along its development, Medizi has never apply the complex evaluation. Therefore the usability evaluation of the user interface of the Medizi was conducted to improve the quality of usability in Medizi. The Heuristic walkthrough method is applied for this evaluation. The Heuristic walkthrough is a combined method between the cognitive walkthrough and heuristic evaluation. This evaluation involves the representative users in domain experts and usability experts that consist of four domain experts and three usability experts. Cognitive walkthrough is the type of evaluation that produce problems in each stage of the task with a throught provoking question as assistance that support by the domain expert and usability expert. Meanwhile the heuristic evaluation is an evaluation that conducted by the usability expert by comparing the applications with heuristic principles and determining the saverity rating value. After the evaluation applied, thirty one cognitive walkthrough problems were found and 38.7% of problems also found in the heuristic evaluations. In the heuristic evaluation, there are twenty problems found with the highest heuristic number on H-4 (consistency and standard) with 30% percentage of the problems found. Considering the results of this evaluation, it figured out the sixteen recommendations for improvement where nine of recommendations are to improve the user interface design and seven of recommendations are for system improvements issue.

Abstract

User experience is the experience acquired in its interactions with users website or application .User experience when using perceived users website or application on users more telling than in conventional uses the media .While brand image is perception , the assessment of , confidence the customers to the brand .This research has objective to known the impact user experience on brand image , then know get any variable variable that affects the impact of the location and recommend ways to improve a positive image of trademark through user experience. A trademark that used are website of news portal in Indonesia. News portal has had a good ranking on alexa.com and similar web. in alexa.com and similar web based on a visit daily and pageview .Visits daily and pageviews can be influenced by the user experience To research it uses 6 from 7 of variable presented by de angeli for measuring. user experience .Research did not use all the variables user experience of the theory suggested de angeli. One variable service quality is not used because the variable is measuring the quality of services like e-commerce while it was not provided by the website or. news portalAs for measuring brand image using a theory of. Keller Data obtained on this research using methods kuisioner.We do. dependent variable for independent testing Based on the data generated from multiple linear regression testing by, user experience having influence against tribunnews.com brand image.
