Abstract

This study aims to find out the effectiveness of the application of drill methods with MASTER techniques in the study of Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 1 Genteng in the 2016/2017 school year. Based on the observations found that the learning conditions are not conducive because of the application of improper methods. This research is quantitative research. The type of research used in this study is experimental research. The research was conducted in two cycles with two meetings by applying drill methods using MASTER techniques. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, test, and documentation. The data analysis used is independent T-test. Based on the discussion about the effectiveness of drill methods with MASTER techniques in PAI learning, it was concluded that the application of drill methods with MASTER techniques can make students motivated, happy, active, and able to improve the effectiveness of learners' learning during the learning process. From the calculation using the t-test test, it is known that ttes = 3,287 ? t5% = 0.16435 means that the nil hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, thus it can be concluded that the effectiveness of drill learning methods with MASTER techniques has effective results on PAI subjects.

Abstract

The novel is a description of the author's experiences, points of view and ideas which are set in a series of stories. The idea of ??a novel is a representation of the picture of human life. Hayy bin Yaqdzan and Tarzan of The Apes are two novels that have a similar story. To find out the extent to which these two literary works are similar, a narrative structure analysis of the two novels is carried out. This study aims to compare the narrative structure of the novels Hayy bin Yaqdzan by Ibnu Thufail and Tarzan of The Apes by Edgar Rice Burrogh. This type of research uses literature study, novel as the material object of research. The narrative structure analysis uses the Badr-Stanton model by analyzing the themes, characterizations, plot and setting of the novel. Comparative analysis using content analysis of each novel narrative structure. The result is the narrative structure of Hayy bin Yaqzhan novel has similirities with Tarzan of The Apes within themes, characterization, plot and settting.

Abstract

The Arabic Language Textbook as a student guide to learn Arabic at Madrasah Ibtidayyah should present Arabic material that is in accordance with the gramatical of the Arabic language. However, it turns out that many errors were found both in terms of morphology, syntax and choice of words used in sentences. This error becomes a fatal thing if there is no evaluation of the textbook because it is at the basic level in learning language. This study uses a literature research design with tahlil akhta analysis as a technical data analysis. The results showed that 4 types of language errors were found in the Arabic language textbook for Class IV Madrasah Ibtidayyah, namely morphological, syntactic, morpho-syntactic and semantic errors.

Abstract

The process of character education is seen as a conscious and planned effort, not a business that happens by chance. On this basis, character education is a genuine effort to understand, shape, and foster ethical values ??both for oneself and for all members of society , especially for students as a whole. The environment that is very influential in developing character is the educational environment such as educational institutions and anything related. The concept of character education is the book Adabul Alim Wal Muta'allim by KH. Hasyim Asy'ari on the Ethics of Teachers and Students. This study aims to explain what models of character education are in the book Adabul Alim Wal Muta'allim by KH. Hasyim Asyari and alternative models of character education at the MTS level according to the book Adabul Alim Wal Muta'allim by KH. Hashim. Meanwhile , this research uses a type of library research or library research because in the context of library research the data is taken from the exploration of library materials in a holistic manner which is then analyzed based on the framework of thinking or the philosophical paradigm that underlies it.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of the Arabic curriculum with the perspective of George A. Beauchamp's theory. This research was conducted at SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan. The research design used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. The data are obtained by observation techniques, interviews and document studies. The primary data for this study is the Arabic curriculum used at SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan. The result of this study is the application of the 2013 curriculum, especially in Arabic language learning at SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan, it can be said that there is a compatibility with the Beaucampp curriculum model, these things can be clearly described as follows: establishing or determining an arena (scope) of the region, establishing Personnel, organizing and curriculum development procedures, implementing curriculum, organizing curriculum evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to combine and analyze between the two in terms of educational character. This research is a literature research or library research. Data collection was carried out by exploring literature, both primary and secondary which discussed character education, the data was collected then made a summary to determine more specific boundaries about the object of study from the books. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Character education (PPK) from the perspective of Ki Hajar Dewantara from the aspect of habituation includes: 1) discipline; 2) hard work; 3) independent; 4) social care, and; 5) responsibility. Meanwhile, the exemplary aspect includes: 1) love for the motherland; 2) friendly/communicative, and; 3) social care. Strengthening character education from the perspective of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the aspect of habituation includes: 1) religious; 2) honest; 3) discipline; 4) friendly/communicative; 5) care for the environment, and; 6) social care. Meanwhile, the exemplary aspect includes: 1) independent; 2) friendly/communicative, and; 3) national spirit. The KDP similarities between the two perspectives lie in the similarities in the characters developed. While the difference lies in two things, namely: 1) differences in reinforcement for different characters, and 2) differences in how reinforcement for the same character.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of an adaptive curriculum to enhance Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based learning in the classroom. The aim of this study is to explore how adjustments to lesson materials, student-centered learning, the use of technology, and formative assessment can facilitate the development of HOTS in the context of secondary education. This study employs qualitative methods with a case study approach at SMAN 1 Glagah Banyuwangi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis.The findings indicate that an adaptive curriculum tailored to the needs and interests of students significantly improves student engagement and critical thinking skills. The use of technology and HOTS-based formative assessment also proved effective in supporting the development of higher-order thinking skills. These findings underscore the importance of a responsive approach to individual student needs in enhancing the quality of education. However, this study has limitations, including variations in participants and the context of the location. Therefore, further comprehensive research is recommended to expand the scope and validity of these findings. The implications of this research suggest that educational policies need to consider the implementation of adaptive curricula to more effectively and inclusively support the development of HOTS.

Abstract

This research focuses on instilling the values ​​of moderation in learning Islamic religious education at school. The study's main aim is to explore how to integrate the values ​​of moderation, contextual learning, character development, and parental and community involvement influences attitudes of tolerance among students. The research method is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was done through data display, reduction, and conclusion. The research results show that integrating moderation values ​​in learning through contextual methods and character development has increased attitudes toward religious tolerance among students. Parental and community involvement also plays a vital role in supporting the implementation of these values. This research implies that an integrated and collaborative approach to education can strengthen student character and promote religious tolerance. This research contributes to the development of more inclusive and tolerant Islamic education. It underlines the need for further research to accommodate variations in gender, age, and survey methods so that the results obtained can be used on a more appropriate policy basis.

Abstract

This study focuses on the effectiveness of mindfulness training in reducing stress and improving the mental well-being of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at school. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of mindfulness training in reducing stress and improving the mental well-being of PAI teachers. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research involving data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The results showed that mindfulness training significantly reduced stress and improved teachers' mental and emotional well-being, which positively impacted their interactions with students and the quality of teaching. This study implies that integrating mindfulness in teacher welfare management can be an effective strategy for improving the quality of education, especially in the context of Islamic education. This study also emphasises the importance of community support and a supportive learning environment in reinforcing the positive effects of mindfulness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya guru yang hanya berperan sebagai pendidik yakni hanya mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan saja tanpa memberikan motivasi dalam rangka membentuk akhlak siswanya menjadi lebih baik. Sehingga sering dijumpai siswa yang malas dalam belajar, akhlak siswa yang kurang baik terhadap guru maupun sesama siswa dalam hal perkataan, perbuatan, dan tingkah laku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran guru pendidikan agama Islam sebagai motivator dalam membentuk akhlak siswa dan menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peran guru pendidikan agama Islam sebagai motivator dalam membentuk akhlak siswa di MTs An-Najahiyyah Kecamatan Kabat Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan subjek penelitian adalah guru pendidikan agama islam, kepala sekolah, waka kesiswaan, dan siswa kelas VII B MTs An-Najahiyyah Kecamatan Kabat Kabupaten Banyuwangi dengan jumlah 27 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan langkah-langkah analisis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian kualitatif menurut Miles dan Huberman yaitu tahap pengumpulan data (data collection), tahap reduksi data (data reduction), tahap penyajian data (data display), tahap penarikan kesimpulan (conclusions: drawing/verifying). Untuk meningkatkan keabsahan data penelitian kualitatif maka dilakukan proses credibility, transferability, dependabilitas dan konfirmability. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru pendidikan agama islam di MTs An-Najahiyyah sudah berjalan sebagaimana mestinya. Terbukti dengan adanya peran guru sebagai motivator dapat menciptakan sekolah yang kondusif serta membentuk akhlak siswa. Dengan adanya program-program yang dilaksanakan di sekolah tersebut dapat mendorong atau merubah akhlak siswa. Di antaranya seperti program sholat berjamaah, membiasakan berperilaku sopan santun, menghargai dan menghormati orang lain, dan menjaga kebersihan atau jumat bersih. Dan adanya faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan akhlak siswa dari faktor internal meliputi kebiasaan dan keinginan atau kemauan keras serta faktor eksternal yaitu dari lingkungan sekolah yang dapat mempengaruhi dalam pembentukan akhlak siswa.
