Abstract

In statistics, one way to group (classify) a data mathematically is called classification. There are several types of classification methods, one of which is Chi-Square Automatic Interaction Detection, which is abbreviated as CHAID. CHAID method will be applied to North Sumatra stunting data. Stunting is a condition in which a person's height is shorter than that of other people of the same age. The dependent variable in the study was stunting, which was measured in infants aged 24-59 months, while the independent variable was a factor that affected stunting. The factors that influence the incidence of stunting in infants aged 24-59 months in North Sumatra based on the results of the analysis (CHAID) are family income, sanitation and water sources. From the results of the CHAID analysis, 5 different groups were obtained, namely: Infants aged 24-59 months who were stunted were infants with an economic income of IDR 1,000,000 - IDR 2,000,000 (98.4%) and inadequate sanitation (100%), Babies aged 24-59 months who are stunted are babies with an economic income of IDR 1,000,000 - IDR 2,000,000 (98.4%) and proper sanitation (93.2%), babies aged 24-59 months who are not stunted are infants with an economic income of Rp. 3,000,000 - Rp. 5,000,000 (95.5%). Infants aged 24-59 months who are not stunted are infants with an economic income of > Rp. 5,000,000 (99.5%) and adequate water sources (100%) and infants aged 24-59 months who are not stunted with an economic income of > IDR 5,000,000 (99.5%) and inadequate water sources (97.1%).

Abstract

The optimization model is one of the systems analysis models identified with operation research. The transportation method is part of a linear program that is used to organize and distribute resources that provide products to places where they are needed to achieve transportation cost efficiency. The working principle of the Least Cost method is to give allocation priority that has the smallest unit cost (the smallest unit cost). The MODI (Modified Distribution) method is a method of solving transportation cases developed from the Stepping Stone method. This research was conducted at PT. Mabar Feed Indonesia which is engaged in the feed sector. This study aims to determine minimizing transportation costs at PT. Mabar Feed Indonesia which will later become input for the company. The results showed that the transportation cost before minimization was Rp . Then the costs incurred after using the Least Cost method in the initial solution amounted to Rp . After using the Least Cost method, the final solution is to make MODI more optimal and the total transportation cost is Rp .

Abstract

Efficiency in the distribution process is crucial for companies to reduce operational costs while maintaining service satisfaction. This research aims to optimize the product delivery route for the Keripik Cinta Mas Hendro business by applying the Clarke and Wright Savings algorithm approach to solve the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP). This method works by calculating the distance savings from combining distribution points, then constructing optimal routes based on the order of highest savings while still considering vehicle capacity. The data used consists of customer coordinates, which are processed into distances between locations using the Euclidean formula. The results show that the distribution route, which was initially divided into three lanes with a total length of 403.54 km, can be simplified into two lanes with a total length of 272 km. This study proves that the Clarke and Wright Savings algorithm is able to provide a more cost-effective distribution solution. Abstract

The problem faced by researchers, in this case lecturers at universities, after carrying out research and making research reports is deciding where to publish the results of their research. Analytic Hierarchy Process is an effective method for ranking alternative journals. This helps ensure that their research is published in a reputable journal that will reach the appropriate audience and have a positive impact on their career. The data collection method in this research was first sourced from books, the internet, and previously a study of articles and journals; secondly, create a checklist of criteria and sub-criteria from 20 (twenty) articles, namely 4 articles from Elsevier, 4 articles from Springer Nature, 4 articles from Taylor Francis, 4 articles from Wiley-Blackwell, and 4 articles from Sage. Article selection was carried out randomly. The results of distributing questionnaires were analyzed using the Analytic Hierarchy Process Online System designed by Klaus D. Goepel. The main aim of this study was to determine the appropriate weighting of several criteria that explain why previously published manuscripts are submitted to their intended publication. The criteria for accepting article manuscripts in reputable international journals using the Analytical Hierarchy Process model (standard Analytic Hierarchy Process linear scale methods) is that the first priority is the "novelty" criterion with a weight of 0.502. The second priority is the "scientific" criterion with a weight of 0.201. Furthermore, the third and fourth priorities are "manuscript" and "content" respectively with weights of 0.142 and 0.078. Meanwhile, the last priority is "Interesting" with a weight of 0.076.
