<![CDATA[This research aims to describe the construction of identity and reality in the novel Calabai by Pepi Al-Bayqunie. The main data source for this research is the novel Calabai by Pepi Al-Bayqunie the method use is qualitative analysis using literature study as a data collection technique. The theory used is Jacques Derrida’s theory of deconstruction. The results of the research show that there is a construction of identity and reality in the character Saidi in the novel Calabai by Pepi Al-Bayqunie the identity presented by the main character in the novel Calabai by Pepi Al-Bayqunie is the existence of a women’s soul that resides in a Saidi who is actually a man and the reality that exists in every event that comes to Saidi as a women with a soul and a bissu. Saidi, who was initially the object of insults, calabai, which was considered a disaster, was actually the opposite of the reality experienced by Saidi in Segeri. It never crossed his mind that a man with a woman’s soul would become the person modt respected and respected by others.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis ikon, indeks, dan simbol yang muncul dalam film Penyalin Cahaya yang disutradarai Wregas Bhanuteja. Pengungkapan ikon, indeks, simbol, diharapkan lebih membantu memahami tanda-tanda yang muncul berupa bahasa verbal dan visual film Penyalin Cahaya. Adapun teori atau sudut pandang atau teori semiotika mengenai trikotomi ikon, indeks, dan simbol dari Charles Sanders Pierce. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa ikon Teater Medusa dan mesin fotokopi, indeks fogging nyamuk dan tone hijau, serta simbol nama Suryani, semua mengarah ke bentuk-bentuk pengungkapan mengenai kekerasan seksual. Film menjadi alat untuk menyadarkan masyarakat bahwa lembaga pendidikan tidaklah sepenuhnya aman bagi mahasiswa dan mahasiswi dalam menuntut ilmu pengetahuan.]]>

<![CDATA[This research examines how women struggle in the film Secret Superstar by director Advait Chandan which will be presented using the study of liberal feminism theory. The object that is the focus of this research is the resistance of the main character, a young girl named Inisa Malik who dreams of becoming a famous singer amid the helplessness experienced by her and her mother because her father claims that women are just a useless burden. This film tells how Insia struggles to make her dream come true with her father's strict circumstances and strictly forbids Insia from becoming a singer. The purpose of this study is to analyze the dialogue in the film to find out how the resistance is carried out by female characters who do not have freedom in living their lives and must live in fear, injustice and powerlessness due to the views of the father who thinks that only he has the right to regulate and make decisions. for the lives of the people in his family. The method used in this study is a qualitative method based on dialogue text selected in the film Secret Superstar as the data to be analyzed. Pada penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai bagaimana perjuangan perempuan dalam film Secret Superstar karya sutradara Advait Chandan yang akan disajikan dengan menggunakan kajian teori feminisme liberal. Objek yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini ialah resistensi dari tokoh utama seorang remaja perempuan bernama Inisa Malik yang memiliki mimpi untuk menjadi seorang penyanyi terkenal ditengah ketidakberdayaan yang dialami ia dan ibunya karena sang ayah yang mengklaim bahwa perempuan hanyalah sebuah beban yang tidak berguna. Film ini menceritakan bagaimana perjuangan Insia yang berusaha mewujudkan impiannya dengan keadaan sang ayah yang bersifat keras dan sangat melarang Insia menjadi seorang penyanyi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dialog dalam film untuk mengetahui bagaimana perlawanan yang dilakukan oleh tokoh perempuan yang tidak memiliki kebebasan dalam menjalani kehidupannya dan harus hidup dalam ketakutakan, ketidakadilan serta ketidakberdayaan akibat pandangan sang ayah yang menganggap bahwa hanya ia yang berhak mengatur dan mengambil keputusan untuk kehidupan orang orang dalam keluarganya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif berbasis teks dialog yang dipilih dalam film Secret Superstar sebagai data yang akan akan dianaliis.]]>

Pelatihan menulis puisi bagi siswa di SMA 13 Makassar bertujuan untuk menggali potensi kreativitas siswa dalam menulis puisi serta meningkatkan kemampuan ekspresi diri melalui media sastra. Pelatihan ini diadakan sebagai respons terhadap kurangnya perhatian terhadap pengembangan keterampilan menulis di kalangan siswa, terutama dalam bentuk puisi yang kaya akan nilai estetika dan ekspresi pribadi. Dalam pelatihan ini, siswa diperkenalkan pada teknik dasar menulis puisi, mulai dari pemahaman struktur, penggunaan bahasa yang puitis, hingga cara mengungkapkan ide dan perasaan secara kreatif. Selain itu, pelatihan juga melibatkan diskusi interaktif dan latihan menulis secara langsung, yang bertujuan untuk mengasah keterampilan dan memperkuat rasa percaya diri siswa dalam menuangkan ide-ide mereka dalam bentuk puisi. Hasil dari pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan apresiasi siswa terhadap sastra, serta memberikan mereka sarana untuk mengekspresikan pikiran dan perasaan melalui kata-kata. Dengan pendekatan yang menyenangkan dan aplikatif, diharapkan siswa dapat menghasilkan karya puisi yang tidak hanya mencerminkan kreativitas, tetapi juga membentuk karakter positif dalam diri mereka. <![CDATA[This study aims to analyse the influence of violence on the character development of the main character in the novel 00.00, by Ameylia Falensia using Alan Swengwood's sociology of literature theory approach. The background of this research is driven by the lack of research that specifically explores the impact of violence from a social perspective in contemporary literary works. Most previous studies focus more on the representation of violence, without exploring how the violence affects the evolution of the main character in the context of social structure, character change, and relationship dynamics. Through this research, it is hoped to bridge the gap by highlighting how violence not only shapes individual identities, but also reflects broader social dynamics in the novel's narrative. The results of this study are expected to make a new contribution to the study of literary sociology, especially in understanding the impact of violence, through Swengwood's view of social structure, character change, and relationship dynamics. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is descriptive research. This analysis uses the theory of literary sociology according to Alan Swingwood. The results show that how the impact of violence is very influential on the main character, which involves social structure, character change, and relationship dynamics in the novel ‘00.00, by Ameylia Falensia. The findings of this study are expected to provide new insights for readers to be more sensitive to issues of violence in society and how to respond to it with solutions that focus on social justice.]]>

<![CDATA[Women are complex creatures with diverse lives, thus giving rise to a continuous and broad discourse on women's studies. Various approaches are taken to achieve women's liberation, and one of these approaches is the use of literary works. This article aims to examine women's freedom in the novel "Pada Sebuah Kapal" by N.H. Dini using feminist studies. The research method used is qualitative with feminist analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the novel "Pada Sebuah Kapal" focuses on the depiction of women and their rights. Solidarity among women and efforts to rebel against social expectations, this novel encourages deep reflection on the role of women and their rights in a patriarchal society. This is illustrated in quotes that show women's freedom over themselves, and households, women's freedom in education, and women's freedom in the economic field, as well as in communication.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyse the ecological representation in the novel ‘Srimenanti’ by Joko Pinurbo using Greg Garrard's ecocritical theory. Ecocriticism is one of the theories in literary studies that examines the relationship between literary works and nature and the environment. This approach focuses on how nature is depicted in literature, as well as the impact of human activities on the environment. In ecocritical theory, nature is considered an active agent that interacts with culture, and literary works can be a means to criticise ecological damage and illustrate the interdependence between humans and the environment. This research is important because it can show how literature, such as Joko Pinurbo's, reflects ecological awareness through vivid images of nature and its social relevance. Joko Pinurbo, known as a poet with a simple yet profound language style, often depicts his closeness to nature and social problems related to the exploitation of nature. By using an ecocritical approach, Pinurbo's works can be interpreted as reflections on human relationships with nature as well as criticism of environmental degradation. Therefore, Joko Pinurbo's works have significant relevance in the discourse of literature and ecology, and are important to be further analysed through an ecocritical perspective to understand more deeply their influence on people's ecological awareness.]]>

Good reading habits will develop self-awareness to explore language, enrich vocabulary, seek inspiration and encourage students' creative thinking when writing literary works, especially poetry. Therefore, creative strategies are needed to increase students' potential and interest, including training writing skills, especially writing literary works. This partnership program is implemented in the form of poetry writing training at SMA 13 Makassar. 13 Makassar. This training aims to increase students' knowledge and skills in writing poetry. This activity is in line with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which provides learning experiences for students through the practice of literary writing skills. literary writing skills. <![CDATA[Ada pasang surut yang signifikan dalam perkembangan film di Indonesia sebagai salah satu bentuk media massa. Luasnya komunikasi di Indonesia pada dasarnya dapat mempengaruhi cara penyampaian pesan yang paling umum. Semiotika oleh Roland Barteh dalam film Surga yang Tak Dirindukan 1, yaitu tentang pernikahan poligami. Poligami adalah suatu kerangka perkawinan dimana salah satu pihak memiliki atau mengawinkan beberapa jenis kelamin yang lain secara bersamaan, poligami adalah perbuatan perkawinan lebih dari satu pasangan atau istri. Di Indonesia, poligami memang masih asing untuk diperbincangkan,fenomena poligami yang semakin marak pada lingkungan masyarakat membuat suatu hal yang menjadi kontroversi, namun beberapa produser film memang menganggap poligami sebagai topik yang menarik untuk diangkat sebagai karya media umum. Inti dari kajian pada film Surga yang tak dirindukan 1 adalah untuk mengetahui penggambaran pentingnya pemerataan dalam film Surga Yang Tak dirindukan 1 dilihat dari tanda-tanda visual yang muncul dalam film tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan investigasi semiotika Roland Barthes. Penelitian yang berfokus pada audio danvisual serta dianalisis melalui semiotika Roland Barthes. Film Surga Yang tak Dirindukan 1 ini juga berisi pembelajaran tentang bagaimana ikhlas dan sabar yang sebenarnya, jika seorang berpoligami maka ikhlas dan sabar adalah kuncinya. ]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the novel "Children of All Nations" by Pramoedya Ananta Toer in the context of the struggle of oppressed women in Dutch colonial society. This analysis uses a feminist approach, focusing on the resistance of marginalized women. This research uses a qualitative descriptive methodology, where reading and note-taking techniques are applied in the data collection process. Reading techniques are used to understand and interpret the content of the text, while note-taking techniques focus on female characters in the novel who experience various types of gender-based oppression and injustice. The results of text analysis show that in the patriarchal culture of the Dutch East Indies colonial era, indigenous women figures such as Nyai Ontosoroh aggressively resisted oppression and fought for the rights of women who were always oppressed and marginalized. This research found that women are often marginalized and disadvantaged in societies dominated by men since the colonial era. In conclusion, it is hoped that the findings of this research will help to better understand the resistance of marginalized women in historical and social contexts.Keywords: Feminism, Resistance, Marginalized]]>
