Abstract

The results of the analysis of the needs for learning media in elementary schools show that teachers do not use innovative learning media during online learning and there is a lack of strengthening the values of local wisdom in the era of globalization. This study aims to develop an E-Book with the values of Balinese local wisdom. This type of research is a development research using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Data collection used a questionnaire / questionnaire method with data analysis techniques, namely quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of E-Book media validation based on the expert's assessment of the content of social studies subject matter obtained a score of 87.50% with good qualifications, instructional design experts obtained a score of 100% with very good qualifications, learning media experts obtained a score of 92.50% with very good qualifications. The results of the individual user test on 3 students obtained a score of 93.33% with very good qualifications, and the results of the user test through a small group test on 12 students obtained a score of 94.16% with very good qualifications. Based on the results of product trial data analysis by experts and user subject test results, it is concluded that the E-Book media containing the values of Balinese local wisdom is suitable for use in learning social studies content in grade IV of Elementary Schools. The implication of developing this E-Book requires supporting facilities such as internet access, computers / laptops, cellphones and the ability of teachers or students to access E-Books.

Abstract

The absence of interactive multimedia in learning hinders the achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of interactive multimedia based on problem-based learning in IPAS lessons for fourth-grade elementary school students. This is a development research study using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects included experts in instructional design, content, and media, as well as 27 fourth-grade students. Data were collected using questionnaires and tests, and analyzed through descriptive quantitative methods and inferential statistics using a dependent sample t-test. The evaluation results showed that (1) the instructional design scored 92.5% (very good); (2) the feasibility of the interactive multimedia was rated highly feasible by the content expert (92.5%), instructional design expert (95%), media expert (92.5%), individual trial (95%), and small group trial (94.44%); and (3) the effectiveness of the multimedia, based on the dependent sample t-test, yielded a t-value of 9.864 with df = 26 and a significance level of 5% = 1.706, indicating tvalue > ttable, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PBL-based interactive multimedia is both feasible and effective for use in fourth-grade elementary school. The implication of this research is its potential to enhance students’ learning motivation, improve their understanding of the material, and encourage teachers to use innovative learning media to optimally achieve educational goals.

Abstract

Adequate learning media facilities will support the improvement of students' knowledge competencies. Students still have difficulty in understanding the material on the Nature and Types of Norms in Society which is still lacking. This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the Pancasila Student Profile-Based Learning Video on the Nature and Types of Norms in Society for Pancasila Subjects for Grade IV Students. This study is development research using the ADDIE development model. The data collection method uses regular multiple-choice objective tests and questionnaires and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques and inferential statistics. The results of the study showed (1) The design of the Learning Video media with the results of the design assessment from design experts with a percentage of 90.90% which is in the qualification (Very Good). (2) The quality of the Learning Video shows the results of the expert test is very good. (3) The effectiveness of the Learning Video based on the results of the t-test obtained a t-count value (39.281) greater than the t-table (2.055) for db = 15 and a significance level of 5%, so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It was concluded that there is a significant difference before and after using learning video media based on the profile of Pancasila students on the material of the nature and types of norms in society for the Pancasila subject for grade IV elementary school students.

Abstract

Oral and dental health is an important part of overall health, especially for pregnant women who are vulnerable to issues such as gingivitis and dental caries. Low awareness and knowledge of proper toothbrushing techniques among pregnant women contribute to the high prevalence of oral health problems during pregnancy. Therefore, effective education is needed, one of which can be delivered through Booklet media. This study aimed to determine the toothbrushing behavior of pregnant women before and after being given counseling using Booklet media at Puskesmas II West Denpasar in 2025. This research used a descriptive quantitative method with a direct observation approach. A total of 39 pregnant women were selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected through observation sheets before and after the counseling session. Before the counseling, most respondents showed moderate toothbrushing behavior (72%) with an average score of 64,9. After receiving counseling using the Booklet, behavior significantly improved to the good category (90%) with an average score of 90. Counseling using Booklet media proved effective in improving toothbrushing behavior among pregnant women.

Abstract

World Health Organization in 2016, of 100% of school-aged children, 60%-90% experience dental caries. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about cariogenic foods and the caries condition of permanent teeth in class III students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Denpasar in 2025. This type of research is observational. The type of data used in this research is primary and secondary data using question sheets and direct examination. The results of this research on 50 class III students showed that the majority of students' knowledge level regarding cariogenic foods was in the good category, namely 48 students (96%). Only one student (2%) had sufficient knowledge and one student (2%) had insufficient knowledge. The average knowledge obtained was 92.8. The percentage of permanent dental caries with very low criteria was 42 students (84%), six students (12%) had low caries levels, and two students (4%) had moderate caries levels. The average number of dental caries experienced by students was 0.64, which is included in the very low category. The results of Spearman's correlation analysis obtained a significance value of 0.203, greater than 0.05, meaning there is no relationship between the level of knowledge about carcinogenic foods and permanent dental caries in class III students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Denpasar in 2025. The conclusion of this research is that students who have knowledge about cariogenic foods with good criteria tend to have low dental caries conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the industry-class program for culinary students at SMK Negeri 3 Denpasar, which has adopted the Merdeka curriculum and the industry-class system since 2017. The research employs a management-based program evaluation approach using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). It analyzes the effectiveness of the industry-class program at the school. The research population consists of 113 culinary industry-class students, 14 culinary teachers, and 5 industry partners. The sampling technique used is total sampling, in which the entire population is included as the sample. The evaluation results indicate that the variables of Context, Process, and Product are effective, while the Input variable is ineffective. Overall, the evaluation outcome shows a pattern of (+ - + +), meaning that although the industry-class program at SMK Negeri 3 Denpasar is effective in several aspects, challenges remain in the Input variable that must be addressed to improve the program’s success. The study recommends strengthening resource readiness, improving regulations, and enhancing collaboration with industry partners to optimize program outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the extent to which social support, optimism, religiosity, and self-esteem contribute to the subjective well-being of teachers in SMPNs across Mendoyo District. Additionally, it seeks to determine the combined impact of these factors on teachers' subjective well-being. This study is an "ex post facto" research study conducted with a sample size of 164 individuals. Information was gathered through the use of questionnaires and documents. The data analysis was conducted using simple regression, multiple regression, and partial correlation approaches. The research findings indicate a strong association (correlation coefficient of 0.319) and a notable contribution (16.11%) of social support to the subjective well-being of teachers in SMPNs in the Mendoyo District. (2) A notable distinction exists between optimism and the subjective well-being of instructors in SMPN within Mendoyo District, as evidenced by a correlation coefficient of 0.364 and a substantial contribution of 18.05%. (3) There is a strong relationship between how religious teachers are and how satisfied they feel in SMPN schools in Mendoyo District. This relationship is measured by a correlation coefficient of 0.519, indicating a moderate positive correlation. Religiosity accounts for 37.66% of the variation in teachers' subjective well-being. (4) There is a strong relationship between the self-esteem and subjective well-being of instructors in SMPN throughout Mendoyo District. The correlation coefficient is 0.387, indicating a substantial connection. Additionally, self-esteem accounts for 19.98% of the overall impact on subjective well-being. (5) The study found a strong relationship between social support, optimism, religiosity, and self-esteem with the subjective well-being of SMPN teachers in Mendoyo District. The multiple correlation coefficient was 0.960, indicating a high degree of association. These factors accounted for 92.44% of the variation in the subjective well-being of SMPN teachers across Mendoyo District.

Abstract

Peran ibu sangatlah dominan dalam perawatan gigi susu anak, oleh karenanya perlu dioptimalkan dalam mengasuh anak dan perlu didorong melalui kegiatan posyandu. Kader mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam mengajak keluarga untuk berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat termasuk menjaga kebersihan gigi dan mulut seluruh anggota keluarga.Tujuan kegiatan adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Kader Posyandu dan menurunkan angka plak pada ibu hamil dan orang tua balita di Desa Wisata Sayan, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali Tahun 2024. metode kegiatan: memberikan peltihan kebersihan gigi dan mulut dengan pretest dan postest, yaitu dengan melakukan pengambilan data sebelum dan setelah setelah dilakukan tindakan, pada Kader Posyandu di Desa Wisata Sayan Kecamatan Ubud Kabupaten Gianyar sebanyak 45 orang pada bulan Juni sampai September 2024. Dengan hasil Pengetahuan Kader Posyandu setelah diberikan pelatihan sebanyak 44 orang (97,78%) memiliki pengetahuan baik, sebanyak 43 orang (95,56%) memiliki keterampilan sangat baik dan sebagian besar kriteria plak kader yaitu sebnyak 41 orang (91,1%) memiliki kriteria plak sangat baik. Penurunan Skor Plak setelah diberikan pelatihan pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut sebagai akibat peningkatan perilaku Kader Posyandu Desa Sayan, Kecamatan Ubud, Kabupaten Gianyar setelah dilakukan pelatihan kebersihan gigi dan mulut

Abstract

Permasalahan dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa anak usia dini rata-rata belum banyak menguasai kosa kata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode pembelajaran Story Telling yang dibantu media wayang terhadap pengembangan bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu, yaitu eksperimen dengan kontrol grup post-test only. Penelitian ini disebut eksperimen semu karena terdapat kelompok kontrol, namun variabel luar yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan penelitian tidak dapat dikontrol secara ketat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak-anak TK yang berjumlah 105 anak, dan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling dengan mengacak kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung, di mana peneliti mengamati fenomena yang terjadi dalam perkembangan bahasa anak. Observasi dilakukan untuk memperoleh data terkait kemampuan bahasa anak-anak setelah diberi perlakuan dengan metode Story Telling berbantuan media wayang. Selanjutnya analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik analisis statistic. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan secara statistik terhadap kemampuan bahasa anak, dengan manfaat tambahan berupa peningkatan kreativitas dan interaksi social. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan mengenai efektivitas penggunaan metode Story Telling dengan media wayang dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia dini, serta dapat dijadikan acuan bagi pendidik dalam merancang metode pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan efektif dalam mengembangkan bahasa anak-anak.
