Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perspektif mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Jambi angkatan 2016 khususnya ruang 1 terhadap mata kuliah pengenalan adat melayu jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu fenomenolgi. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu mahasiswa PGSD UNJA angkatan 2016 dengan sampel mahasiswa ruang 1. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari kegiatan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verivikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu mata kuliah pengenalan adat melayu jambi sangat bermanfaat dan menambah wawasan ilmu budaya baik bagi mahasiswa yang berasal dari provinsi jambi maupun diluar provinsi jambi.

Abstract

Limited knowledge of teachers in the process of writing scientific articles as a means of this service. Based on the results of interviews at the KKG for Elementary School Teachers in Pamenang with the chairman of the KKG, information was obtained that: there are still teachers who have difficulty using scientific article writing. This occurs because there is a lack of concise training assistance for the process of writing scientific articles. On average, the reason is a lack of understanding of the guidelines for writing scientific papers and teachers are not used to using the media as a reference source, then there are no training activities organized by the KKG to increase teachers' knowledge in writing scientific articles. Seeing the problems that exist in the KKG Teacher Team in Pamenang regarding the problem of writing scientific articles, it is necessary to carry out a Journal Article Writing Training to Support Professional Competence for the KKG Teacher Team in Pamenang. The objectives to be achieved through this training activity are: 1). The production of scientific articles by teachers which can later be used as material for promotion. 2). Produced articles published in online media, 3) Produce Scientific Articles which will be published in the PPM Journal. 4). Affirm Activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of critical thinking skills with the problem-based learning model in IPAS learning for fourth grade elementary school students. This research was conducted at SDN 64/I Muara Bulian, Muara Bulian sub-district, Batanghari district, Jambi province. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a qualitative approach. The research data was obtained by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection in this study was carried out through interviews, observation through observation sheets of students’ critical thinking skills, observation sheets of educator activities carrying out learning activities, and documentation. The results of this study were an increase in critical thinking skills in fourth grade students at SDN 64/I Muara Bulian after applying the problem-based learning model at each meeting in each cycle

Abstract

Indonesian language learning should involve the active role of students directly, so that students will interact using the media that has been presented by the teacher. Observations made in the field found a problem, namely students lack of focus and lack of understanding of the concept of material in Indonesian language content. The purpose of writing this journal is to analyze related efforts to improve understanding of material concepts in Indonesian content by using interactive videos in class II SDN 64/1 Muara Bulian. The type of research used is PTK (Classroom Action Research). This research was conducted at SD Negeri 34/I Teratai, in class II to be precise. The results obtained are that students are still confused when using interactive videos, and are more comfortable when the teaching process is carried out using traditional methods, namely by using a blackboard that is devoted to providing subject matter related to how to write cursive in stories by paying attention to the use of capital letters. The conclusion is that the use of interactive videos in increasing students' understanding of concepts in Indonesian language subjects with non-continuous writing material in stories with attention to the use of capital letters is effective at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Education is an important factor in the development of a country. One of the goals of education is to develop students' intellectual abilities and understanding in various fields. In the process of learning mathematics, students' understanding of solving word problems is very important. Word problems provide a real context for students in applying mathematical concepts to everyday life. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of students' understanding in solving word problems about scale plans in Grade V SD. The research was conducted at SDN 34/I Teratai, Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari District. When the research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year. This research was used in Mathematics Class V semester 1 with the material for solving story problems about Scaled Plans. This research cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection which is done repeatedly until the achievement indicators for this CAR can be achieved. As subjects in this classroom action research were students of Class V SD 34/I Teratai. The number of students who were used as research subjects was 23 people, consisting of 10 men and 13 women. The object of this study was the application of the Peer Tutor Method. Data collection techniques are observation, tests, interviews and documentation. This research was carried out in cycles with each cycle consisting of four components, namely: planning, action and observation, and reflection. After the cycle has been implemented, especially after reflection, it is then followed by re-planning which is carried out in the form of a separate cycle.

Abstract

Speaking skills are one of the important components that must be possessed in students wherever they are. With these speaking skills students can be skilled at speaking by training and demanding students to be able to communicate with friends and the surrounding environment. In addition, with speaking skills students can express, state and convey ideas, thoughts, ideas, or feelings to others. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted with an effort to improve students' speaking skills through the Everyone Is A Teacher Here learning model for class 4 SDN 14/I Sungai Baung TP. 2022/2023. This study uses observation and documentation techniques. The research process went through two stages, namely cycle I and cycle II. Through four stages, namely planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection. The results of observations in the first cycle became a reference for improvement in the next cycle. The reflection phase refers to cycle I, the expected goals have not been achieved. Cycle II is an improvement from cycle I which was previously implemented. The deficiencies that existed in cycle I were corrected in cycle II. Cycle II was prepared and planned more carefully for student learning outcomes and behavior. Based on the discussion of students' ability in speaking skills through the Everyone Is A Teacher Here method, it was concluded: 1. The average result of cycle I was 80.1 and cycle II was 82.3 increased by 2.2. 2. The learning outcomes in cycle I achieved classical completeness of 80.9% and in cycle II it became 100%. 3. Student activity in cycle I was 56% and cycle II was 87%.

Abstract

Penilaian merupakan serangkaian aktivitas yang dilakukan pendidik untuk memperoleh, menganalisis dan menafsirkan data mengenai hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan demikian, untuk melakukan penilaian pendidik membutuhkan alat penilaian berupa soal-soal untuk menguji kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan, tingkat validitas, dan kepraktisan dari produk yang dikembangkan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE dengan 5 tahapan yaitu: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji coba validasi dari penilaian ahli materi mendapatkan penilaian dengan rat-rata nilai 50 dengan persentase 100% dan berada pada kategori sangat valid, penilaian dari ahli bahasa mendapatkan rata-rata nilai 23 dengan persentase 92% dan berada pada kategori sangat valid. Penilaian dari respon guru mendapatkan rata-rata nilai 53 dengan persentase 87% dan berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan alat evaluasi HOTS secara keseluruhan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the cooperative learning model of the jigsaw type, assisted by the Wordwall application, to enhance student engagement of fourth-grade science learning at SDN 55/I Sridadi. The research conducted through a classroom action research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The study was conducted over two cycles, with four stages in each cycle: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results show that applying the jigsaw cooperative model, supported by the Wordwall application in science learning, successfully increased student engagement. It was evident as student engagement improved across all indicators in each meeting cycle. In the first cycle, student engagement was classified as "fair," with a percentage of 60.26%, but after improvements in the second cycle, it increased to "good," reaching a percentage of 84.73%. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that implementing the jigsaw cooperative model with the help of the Wordwall application in science learning can effectively enhance student engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effect of using Smart Explosion Box media on student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education subjects in grade IV Elementary School. This study adopted a quantitative approach. The quantitative approach involves data collection, data analysis, and numerical presentation of results. The research was conducted at SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung with the hope of making a positive contribution to the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in grade IV elementary schools. Based on data analysis by testing the normality and homogeneity of distribution, the average Post-test result in the experimental class reached 75.26, followed by a t test which showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. This finding confirms that the use of smart explosion box media significantly affects student learning outcomes in Pancasila education subjects in grade IV elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menyanyi lagu melayu Jambi melalui musik akustik pada mahasiswa PGSD FKIP Universitas Jambi pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jenis survei. Penelitian ini menggunakan tes praktik sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 140 orang dengan keterangan 7 orang perwakilan masing-masing kelas. Pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Dari data yang diperoleh menggunakan tes praktik dari sampel penelitian kemudian dianalisis dan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa PGSD FKIP Universitas Jambi pada tahun 2019/2020 dalam menyanyikan lagu melayu Jambi melalui musik akustik dapat dikategorikan “Cukup”.
