Abstract

Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa betapa masih langkanya guru yang mau, mampu, dan biasa melakukan kegiatan penyusunan KTI khususnya di SMAN 1 Gresikda dan SMAN 1 Manyar sebagai mitra. Program yang dapat dijalankan bersama antara sekolah mitra dan tim pelaksana PPM–IbM adalah perlunya peningkatan dan pengembangan profesi guru (PKB) pada unsur Publikasi Ilmiah khususnya dalam penyusunan KTI baik berupa hasil penelitian, hasil tinjauan ilmiah maupun artikel ilmiah, kecuali tulisan ilmiah populer. Tahap pendampingan dalam pelaksanaan PKM-IbM meliputi 1) Tahap Persiapan meliputi persiapan pedoman / modul serta contoh-contoh KTI yang baik, 2) Tahap Penulisan yaitu memandu para peserta pelatihan dalam mempelajari dan memahami KTI, 3) Tahap Penyuntingan meliputi tahap perbaikan KTI baik dari segi tata bahasa, substansi maupun materi, 4) Tahap Publikasi yaitu KTI yang telah direvisi diikut sertakan dalam pertemuan ilmiah dan di publikasikan pada jurnal, 5) Tahap Monitoring dan Evaluasi yaitu tahap pemaparan hasi KTI yang telah direvisi pada teman sebaya dan pemberian angket respon terhadap kegiatan pendampingan ini. Hasil dari penmdampingan penyusunan KTI diikuti oleh 34 guru SMAN 1 Gresik dan 20 guru SMAN 1 Manyar. KTI yang telah dipublikasikan antara lain: 1) satu KTI sudah dimuat pada MEDIA, No.05/Thn.XLVI/Juli 2016, satu KTI dikirim ke JPFA (Jurnal Penelitian Fisika dan Aplikasinya), dua KTI diikutkan pada Lomba Inovasi Pembelajaran (INOBEL) Guru Pendidikan Menengah Tingkat Nasional Tahun 2016 di Bandung, satu KTI masuk finalis dan yang satu KTI gagal, dan satu KTI diikutkan pada Simposium Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan Tahun 2016 di Jakarta. Adapun respon positif yang ditunjukkan peserta berdasarkan hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa 75% guru SMAN 1 Gresik setuju dan 75% guru SMAN 1 Manyar sangat setuju dengan diadakannya pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan KTI ini.

Abstract

Element Chemistry is one of the materials given to class XII students. Studying the chemical elements of the substance cause a sense of saturation because of the broad scope of the material and is memorized. To help and facilitate students learning in an effort to understand the material including the Chemical Element material, the use of learning media was developed. This research was conducted with the aim to find out the increase in student learning outcomes through virtual laboratories. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest design. The learning model used is TPS (Think Pair Share) cooperative laboratory assisted with virtual laboratories. The research method used is the test method. The instruments used were pretest and posttest sheets. The results of data analysis using n-gain indicate that an increase in student learning outcomes in the medium and high categories. A total of 66.67% of students experienced an increase in learning outcomes in the medium category, and 33.33% of students experienced an increase in learning outcomes in the high category. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the virtual laboratory with TPS learning model can significantly improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis blended learning berbantuan multimedia interaktif dalam melatih kemampuan visual spasial peserta didik pada materi Ikatan Kovalen.  Metode penelitian menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design dengan melakukan uji coba terbatas pada peserta didik Jurusan Kimia Analisis SMK Negeri 1 Cerme Gresik yang dipilih berdasarkan kemampuan peserta didik dari kemampuan rendah, sedang, dan tinggi sebanyak 15 orang.  Pretest dan posttest digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengetahui kemampuan visual spasial peserta didik. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data pretest dan posttest berdistribusi normal dan hasil rata-rata N-Gain pada kategori tinggi sehingga disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis blended learning berbantuan multimedia interaktif dalam melatih kemampuan visual spasial peserta didik pada materi Ikatan Kovalen efektif sebagai bahan ajar. AbstractThe research aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on blended learning assisted by interactive multimedia in training students' visual-spatial skills in the Covalent Bond material. The research method used a one group pretest-posttest design by conducting a limited trial on students of the Analytical Chemistry Department at SMK Negeri 1 Cerme Gresik who were selected based on the ability of students from low, medium, and high abilities as many as 15 people. Pretest and posttest are used as instruments to determine the visual-spatial ability of students. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed that the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed with the average N-Gain in the high category, so it can be concluded that the LKPD based on blended learning assisted by interactive multimedia in training students' visual-spatial abilities on the Covalent Bond material is effective as teaching material.

Abstract

Some studies say the periodic system of elements is one of the most challenging chemistry to learn, so it needs the suitable learning media. This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of a chemistry learning website based on WordPress Moodle to improve student learning outcomes on the material of the periodic system of elements. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RD) with a 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate, tested on class X MIPA MA Amanatul Ummah Surabaya. The results of the expert validation assessment obtained data if the average percentage of content and construct conformity was 89.59% and 86.67%, respectively, in the very valid category. Furthermore, this learning media obtained a practicality percentage of 94% in the practicality test with a very practical category. In terms of media effectiveness, based on the increase in the pretest-posttest results obtained a percentage of 100% with an average n-gain score of 0.708 in the high category. Based on these results, the chemistry learning website generated from this study is valid and feasible to be used as a learning medium to improve student learning outcomes on the material of the periodic system of elements.Keywords: Learning website, WordPress, Moodle, learning outcomes.DOI:10.23960/jppk.v10.i3.2021.08

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of a WordPress-based integrated chemistry learning website Moodle to improve student learning outcomes on the material of the periodic system of elements seen from content and construct validity. The type of research used is Research and Development (RD) with a 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. In this study, the development model is limited to the development stage. This research was conducted using a learning website review sheet instrument and a learning website validation sheet divided into a content validity sheet and a construct validity sheet. The results of expert validation, data obtained if the average percentage of content and construct conformity is 89.59% and 86.67%, respectively, in the very valid category. Abstract

This research and development aims to develop interactive 3D multimedia that appropriate to increase students’ visuospatial abilities at molecular shapes geometry studies. This research and development use the modified research and development 4D Thiagarajan design model that limiting until the development testing step. The descriptive qualitative analysis is used to assess the data result. The multimedia effectiveness is stated based on the increasing right-answered percentage and N-Gain score interpretation. The result shows that it has an increasing right-answered percentage > 50% in each test indicator and signification rate at range 0,5174 – 1,0000 in the medium until  high level. The achievement of two kind effectiveness’ criteria can be stated that interactive 3D multimedia is appropriate as the effective learning media to increase student’s visuospatial abilities. Visual model in 2D and 3D utilization can aid the students’ representation skill, so that it can be applied to the other relevant matter.

Abstract

The research aimed to find out the properness of the 3-dimensions (3D) interactive multimedia as the learning media to increase student’s visuospatial intelligence in molecular geometry. This research and development used design of 4D by Thiagarajan that was modified by Ibrahim. Modified design implemented until third step (development phase). The research subject was 10th-grade students that were getting molecule shapes geometry sub-matter. The 3D interactive multimedia was declared as valid based on the expert judgement through validation process by three validators consisting of 2 lecturers and 1 chemistry teacher. The content and construct validity sheet are used as an instrument on the validation process. Multimedia validity can be avowed from content validity and construct validity. The content validity was determined by the content standard and content systematic criteria including usefulness in promoting students’ visuospatial intelligence. The construct validity was determined by software techniques and visual communication. Validation result data was used quantitative descriptive analysis. According to the validation result, the content and construct validity percentage results as 81% and 84% at the more valid category, so that 3D interactive multimedia can be declared valid as a learning media.  The media will be useful to improve the learning quality.

Abstract

Visual-spatial is needed to improve submicroscopic understanding, such as polar and nonpolar covalent bonding materials. Not many 3D interactive multimedia have been developed with visual-spatial orientation. This research aims to produce 3D interactive multimedia with spatial-visual orientation on polar and nonpolar covalent bond materials suitable for use. The research design uses an R&D (Research and Development) research model developed but restricted to a limited trial step. The eligibility criteria include validity (content and construct) and practicality. The validity criteria are based on the results of the validity assessment data from three validators. Practicality criteria are based on the assessment given by three chemistry teachers shortly after the visual-spatial-oriented 3D interactive multimedia trial. Overall data were analyzed descriptive- quantitatively. The results of the study concluded that the developed 3D interactive multimedia meets the eligibility requirements. Each validation indicator in 3D interactive multimedia receives an assessment from the validator with mode (Mo) at least 4 in the score range 1-5 and the percentage of agreement (R) between validators above 75%. The 3D interactive multimedia meets practicality requirements because each indicator receives an assessment from the user students with (Mo) at least 4 in the score range 1-5. The percentage of agreement (R) between user students is above 75%.

Abstract

The research aims to test the effectiveness of three-dimensional (3D) modelling of metallic bonding as a learning media to optimize student visual-spatial intelligence. The respondents of this research were 25 students of the class 2017 in Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Data was collected online three times, including initial knowledge test, small group test, and large group test. The data collection method uses multiple-choice tests consisting of ten questions about metallic bonding and five visual-spatial questions. There is a 20-minute limit to answer all those questions after getting the experience to use the media. The effectiveness is analyzed based on classical learning completeness obtained from the average individual completeness value. Based on the results, the interactive multimedia 3D metallic bonding model effectively optimizes visual-spatial intelligence. The percentage of classical completeness in the small and large groups is 75.00 and 76.00 (%), respectively. This value is classified into the high category based on the recapitulation of student learning outcomes level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas e-modul interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran untuk melatihkan kecerdasan visual spasial peserta didik pada materi ikatan kovalen dilihat dari validitas isi dan konstruk. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas 5 (lima) langkah, yaitu analyze (analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Namun hanya sampai pada tahapan development (pengembangan). Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi E-modul Interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa E-modul Interaktif yang dikembangkan memperoleh persentase 83% untuk validitas isi termasuk kategori sangat valid dan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 83% untuk validitas konstruk termasuk kategori sangat valid digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk melatihkan visual spasial peserta didik.
