Abstract

Pesisir Timur Pulau Weh (PTPW) is a water natural reserve conservation area located in the eastern part of Weh Island. The condition of coral substrates in PTPW has suffered a lot of damage based on bleaching cases that have hit Sabang waters in 2016. Coral conditions can be measured by looking at the abundance of fish indicators of the Chaetodontidae group. Therefore, this study aimed to measure coral conditions and the abundance of Chaetodontidae coral fish, as well as analyze the relationship between the percentage of coral cover and the abundance of Chaetodontidae coral fish. Data of coral were collected using the Point Intercept Transect method with a length of 50 meters, while the abundance of fish used the Underwater Visual Census technique and the Belt Transect method with a length of 50 meters and a total belt width of 5 meters. The results showed that the coral conditions in PTPW were in poor to fair condition with the highest cover at The Sumur Tiga site (36.83%) and the lowest at The Ujung Kareung site (11.5%). The highest abundance of Chaetodontidae fish was found at Ujung Seuke site (1253.3 ind/ha) and the lowest was found at Anoi Itam site (186.7 ind/ha). The results of the correlation analysis between the percentage of coral cover and the abundance of Chaetodontidae coral fish showed a positive relationship (r = 0.482), but it was not significant (p>0.05), and the regression equation obtained Y = 17.16x + 166.52 with a determination coefficient of 18.3%, which indicated that the correlation between the two variables was very weak.

Abstract

Inventarisasi Jenis-Jenis Tumbuhan Paku ( Pteridophyta) Di Kawasan  Perairan Sungai Lawe Harum Kecamatan Deleng Pokhisen Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara. Kecamatan Deleng Pokhisen merupakan daerah awal pendakian menuju puncak gunung Pokhisen di daerah ini tumbuhan paku belum pernah dieksplorasi  jenisnya, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pendataan jenis tumbuhan paku. Untuk mengetahui jenis jenis tumbuhan paku yang terdapat di kawasan perairan sungai Lawe Harum Kecamatan Deleng Pokhisen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik survey dan observasi. dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Teknik analisis data hasil penelitian Di Kawasan  Perairan Sungai Lawe Harum Kecamatan Deleng Pokhisen Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara ditemukan 12 spesies antara lain Pteridium aquilium, Davallia denticullata, Nephrolepis hirsutula, Dryopteris filix- Mas, Christella parasitica, Christella dentata,  Diplazium esculentum, Cyclosorus interuptus, Drynaria quersifolia, Cyathea cooperi, Asplenium nidus  dan  Selaginella wildenowi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kesukaran butir soal Ujian Nasional (UN) IPA SMP Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 di Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah naskah soal Ujian Nasional (UN) mata pelajaran IPA SMP Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan formulasi Indeks Kesukaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, analisis tingkat kesukaran butir soal Ujian Nasional (UN) IPA SMP Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 di Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara memiliki kategori soal yang sukar sebesar 3%, kategori soal yang mudah sebesar 5% dan kategori soal yang sedang sebesar 92%. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian Pemanfaatan tumbuhan palem untuk kebutuhan pangan oleh masyarakat Aceh di Kecamatan Gandapura telah diketahui informasi mengenai pemanfaatan tumbuhan sebagai kebutuhan pangan. Masyarakat di kawasan ini telah dilakukan penggalian terhadap pengetahuan yang ada di masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner, wawancara semi terstruktur dan bebas mendalam (open ended) pada berbagai kelompok umur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 7 jenis untuk penghasil pangan, jenis tersebut yaitu Bak Jok (Arenga pinnata), bak Pineng (Areca catechu), bak Teue (Borassus flabellifer), bak U (Cocos nucifera), bak Meria (Metroxylon sagu), kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis) dan bak Lipah (Nypa fruticans).Kata Kunci: Arecaceae, Tumbuhan Penghasil Pangan, Masyarakat Aceh

Abstract

Pantai sering dijadikan objek wisata unggulan di setiap daerah dan memiliki daya tarik tersendiri untuk dinikmati. Objek wisata Pantai Jangka merupakan salah satu objek wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Bireuen yang banyak dikunjungi pengunjung dan memiliki fasilitas yang cocok untuk bersantai keluarga. Kawasan wisata pantai ini perlu dikelola dengan baik mengingat semakin banyaknya kunjungan wisatawan dengan potensi buangan sampahnya yang semakin meningkat. Persoalan sampah menjadi topik yang selalu dibahas karena berkaitan dengan pola hidup serta budaya masyarakat. Sampah plastik menjadi sebuah permasalahan utama yang belum terselesaikan. Tingginya angka produksi sampah harus diimbangi dengan penanganan dan pengelolaan sampah yang tepat dan perlu peran aktif masyarakat pesisir. Akan tetapi tingkat kesadaran masyarakat akan pengelolaan sampah plastik masih sangat kurang. Melalui kegiatan PKM ini akan dilakukan penyuluhan tentang pengelolaan sampah plastik terhadap objek wisata Pantai Jangka Kabupaten Bireuen.. Subjek pengabdian adalah masyarakat pesisir Pantai Jangka. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan dikelompokkan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi keberlanjutan. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan Focused Group Discussion (FGD). Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat pesisir Pantai Jangka mengenai bahaya sampah plastik, cara menjaga kebersihan pantai dan cara pengelolaan sampah plastik.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the primary drivers of the Indonesian economy, as a result if the MSME sector is disrupted, the national economy could also be eroded. According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), in 2021 the number of MSMEs will reach 65.46 million units. Maju Sejahtera is an MSME in Panjang Mesjid Village, Panjang Subdistrict, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province which operates in the food service sector producing gongseng coconut. This group has been running its business since 2019 and produces around 30-50 kg of gongseng coconut every week with a market selling price of around 50 thousand per kilogram. This fishing business group has 5 freelance workers and has assets of around 24 million rupiah. However, recently the production and sales of gongseng coconut have decreased, this is due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world, so it indirectly affects the demand for gongseng coconut. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, MSME Maju Sejahtera had an obstacle in running a business in the field of product marketing, the system that had been used was still traditional, namely marketing to local traders or the products were taken by collectors, then MSME Maju Sejahtera had no business management or financial management, during This often causes problems in financial management, namely business finances are often combined with family finances so it is very difficult to see profits in the business. The aim of this service activity is to increase partners' knowledge in business management and digital marketing. The implementation method is to provide business management training and direct digital sales practice through marketplaces and social media. The result of this activity is an increase in partners' knowledge about business management and better digital marketing.

Abstract

Soybean is an agricultural product that has a good nutritional value, especially Protein content. This study aims to find superior varieties that have a wide adaptation to the sour soil especially in Ultisol soils. The study was conducted in Gulo Village, Darul Hasanah Sub-District, Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, from May to September 2019. The study used a non factorial randomized block design (RBD), with 4 treatment varieties (V) levels that were repeated as many as 4 replications; namely V1: Anjasmoro Varieties, V2: Dena Varieties, V3: Deja Varieties 1, V4: Detaptive Varieties 1, Variance analysis test results showed that the plant height was 1 WAP, Age 2 WAP, Age 3 WAP, Age 4 WAP, Age 5 WAP , and Age 6 WAP had no significant effect. However the highest yield on 1 WAP was found in variety V4 (10.40) in the second test and the lowest was in the first test. V2 was second test. While the best number of segments and branches were produced by V3 treatment. The best results for the total number of pods, number of pods, total empty pods, number of sample plant seeds and weight of sample plant seeds were produced by treatment V3.

Abstract

Urbanization has significantly increased alongside economic growth and social change, bringing both opportunities and challenges, particularly in environmental and social contexts. This study aims to analyze the environmental and social impacts of urbanization in relation to sustainable development, using a comprehensive literature review of 50 relevant articles published between 2019 and 2024. The analysis focused on two main themes: the environmental and social consequences of urbanization and strategies for achieving sustainability. The results reveal that urbanization contributes positively to economic growth, access to education, and healthcare, but negatively impacts the environment and social equity. Key challenges include pollution, waste generation, climate change, limited affordable housing, and social inequalities. Notable strategies for sustainable urbanization include effective waste management, clean energy adoption, and green city initiatives. Research from Jambi and Serang highlights community involvement in waste reduction and the promotion of renewable energy as vital components for urban sustainability. The study concludes that sustainable urban planning, emphasizing integrated solutions across environmental, economic, and social domains, is crucial for mitigating urbanization's negative impacts. Collaborative efforts among policymakers, local communities, and researchers are essential to create inclusive and resilient cities aligned with sustainable development goals.
