Abstract

This research aims to investigate the role of the school principal's leadership in improving teacher performance at SD Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau. The research method employed is qualitative. The research subjects include the school principal, teachers, and educational staff. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings reveal that the role of the school principal's leadership in enhancing teacher performance consists of providing motivation, guidance, discipline, maintaining neat appearance, offering consultations, giving recognition, conducting classroom visits, demonstrating attitudes, setting exemplary behavior, fostering active, creative, cohesive work, and developing the teaching profession. Meanwhile, the teacher performance is already quite good, as several indicators have been maximally implemented. These indicators include lesson planning, managing learning activities, establishing interpersonal relationships, conducting research, following up on assessment results, and mastering academic studies. Consequently, it can be concluded that the role of the school principal's leadership at SD Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau in enhancing teacher performance contributes positively to the advancement of learning quality, thereby promoting educational quality where the performance of educational staff is one of the keys to success in education.

Abstract

This study explores the role of effective extracurricular management in cultivating students who are creative, imaginative, and well-mannered. The primary aim of extracurricular activities is to complement the formal educational experience by offering opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills gained in the classroom. The objective of this research is to enhance character education in elementary school students through participation in extracurricular activities. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the study seeks to present a comprehensive overview of the current situation and to provide an in-depth description of the factors at play, offering the reader highly accurate insights. The research is conducted at SDI Lukmanul Hakim Sumenep, a school consistently recognized among the top in the region since 2013 by the Sumenep Regency administration. Data sources include key informants such as the school principal, deputy head of curriculum, teachers, and students. Findings suggest that extracurricular activities contribute significantly to the improvement of character education, instilling values such as religious observance, honesty, tolerance, discipline, and responsibility. These outcomes are achieved through regular activities like teacher and student picket duty and flag ceremonies, as well as spontaneous initiatives such as advising, correcting behavior, and providing assistance with incidental tasks. Furthermore, examples and conditioning activities, including environmental cleanliness and character education taglines, reinforce these values. The positive impacts of these activities include the development of social skills and communication abilities, with the school environment playing a crucial role in shaping students' character.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan tanaman kelapa dan siwalan oleh masyarakat Romben Barat pada umumnya hanya terbatas pada pengambilan air dan daging buah, sehingga menyisakan limbah berupa serabut kelapa dan siwalan. Untuk itu, diperlukan solusi yang inovatif dan tepat guna agar limbah serabut kelapa dan siwalan tersebut dapat diolah menjadi produk unggulan yang bermanfaat secara ekonomi dan memberikan nilai tambah. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi observasi langsung di lapangan, perumusan masalah dan solusinya, pengumpulan data sampel limbah serabut kelapa, proses pengolahan limbah, penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK), serta evaluasi. Dari kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, Kelompok Tani Sumber Rejeki dan anggota PKK Desa Romben Barat telah memahami proses pengolahan limbah serabut kelapa menjadi cocofiber dan cocopeat. Selain itu warga telah menguasai teknik pengolahan serabut kelapa menjadi cocofiber dan cocopeat secara efisien. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah serabut kelapa dan siwalan menjadi media tanam cocopeat dan cocofiber meningkat pesat. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya membantu mengurangi limbah, tetapi juga memberikan nilai tambah bagi ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Literacy skills are an important thing that must be possessed by students. Good literacy skills can help students' understanding in the learning process. There are several options that teachers can use to improve students' literacy skills, one of which is by implementing differentiated learning. The purpose of this study is to improve students' literacy skills by implementing differentiated learning. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of differentiated learning provides quite good progress in students' literacy skills in Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah Malaysia.

Abstract

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami kegunaan serta manfaat media pembelajaran Wordwall dalam pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa kelas II di SDN Juluk II. Variabel yang diteliti berfokus pada penggunaan media pembelajaran Wordwall sebagai variabel tunggal. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 16 siswa kelas II, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan, serta guru wali kelas II. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat manfaat yang signifikan dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran Wordwall, terutama dalam pengajaran materi kalimat fakta dan opini. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media Wordwall merupakan alat yang interaktif dan efektif. Penggunaannya mampu mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kritis dan mengurangi rasa takut dalam menjawab pertanyaan, sehingga mereka merasa lebih rileks dan tidak terbebani. Selain itu, media ini mudah diakses dan ekonomis, meskipun penggunaannya memerlukan koneksi jaringan yang stabil serta kemampuan siswa dalam mengoperasikan gadget dan perangkat lainnya dengan baik.

Abstract

The coconut tree is a plantation crop where almost all parts of it can be utilized by humans and processed into industrial products. The products derived from coconuts include cocofiber, cocopeat, and baby fiber, which are raw materials for other products with higher value and selling prices. The goal of this community service activity is to utilize the coconut husk waste in Grujuga Village into cocopeat products that have a high selling value, thereby improving the economy in Grujugan Village, Gapura District. Through interviews and direct observation, ideas for industry managers were generated, both in terms of improving the production process and developing creative ideas to enhance product value. Based on this, community empowerment activities in the village are crucial to encourage the development of the village to become self-sufficient, as well as increase community knowledge in diversifying coconut commodities through the utilization and processing of coconut husk waste into cocopeat and cocofiber, thus producing superior village products. This will strongly support the village's program as an effort to improve the welfare of the community, the development of the creative economy, environmental management, and the ability to innovate to improve the living standards of the community in accordance with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

Desa Romben Barat, yang terletak di Kecamatan Dungkek, Kabupaten Sumenep, dikenal sebagai masyarakat memiliki banyak perkebunann kelapa dan pohon siwalan sebagai salah satu matapencaharian. Meski begitu, Penduduk setempat umumnya hanya menjual daging buah dan air kelapa, sementara serabut kelapa sering kali dibiarkan menjadi limbah yang tidak dimanfaatkan. Program Kosabangsa hadir untuk membantu masyarakat mengolah limbah serabut kelapa secara manual menjadi produk coco fiber dan coco peat. Pelaksanaan program ini melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat melalui kegiatan penyampaian materi, praktik langsung, diskusi, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari program menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memberikan respons positif dan merasa puas dengan pelatihan yang diberikan, dengan peningkatan pengetahuan hingga 85% dalam pemanfaatan da pengolahan serabut kelapa untuk dimanfaatkan menjadi bahan coco fiber dan coco peat. Program ini juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan nilai jual produk coco fiber. Melalui pendampingan ini, diharapkan Desa Romben Barat dapat berkembang menjadi pusat industri pengolahan serabut kelapa di Sumenep, yang berdampak positif bagi perekonomian lokal serta lingkungan.

Abstract

Arus perkembangan teknologi digital membawa perubahan signifikan dibidang pendidikan, sigmen penting dalam kontek pendidikan diukur dengan peningakatan literasi siswa yang sudah mengarah pada literasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi program pokok yang berkontribusi dalam peningkatan literasi digital siswa di SDN Pabian IVKabupaten Sumenep. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan guru yang melaksanakan pembelajaran digital, termasuk analisis dokumen kebijakan sekolah pada kontek literasi digital untuk memperkaya temuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian mengdentifikasi terahdap program pook peningkatan literasi digital siswa yaitu: 1) ketersediaan fasilitas fasilitas literasi digital, 2) peningkatan kemampuan literasi digital, 3) mengembangkan konten kreatif dalam pembelajaran. Temuan penelitian membuka rekomendasi, harapan dan menjadi referensi bagi pemanagku kebijakan dalam mewujudkan dan mengembangkan peningkatan literasi digital siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar

Abstract

Teachers' lack of understanding regarding the concept and purpose of dance education affects the design of learning programs, which tend to be monotonous and less creative. This condition impacts students' dance movement skills in elementary schools. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Doratoon media based on local cultural arts in improving students' dance movement skills. The research employed a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design of the one-group pretest-posttest type, where one group was tested before and after using the learning media. The research instrument was a dance movement skills test administered to students. The data were analyzed using hypothesis testing through a t-test. The results showed that the use of Doratoon media based on local culture was highly effective in improving students' dance movement skills, as evidenced by the tvalue being higher than the ttable (9.42 > 2.262). Moreover, the developed dance skills video media has the potential to be published through YouTube as an effort to expand learning access and improve dance skills more actively and creatively. The conclusion of this study is that Doratoon media can be effectively used as an alternative local culture-based learning tool to enhance students' dance movement skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to identify significant differences in the reading skills of grade II students of SDN Karangnangka I before and after participating in a literacy habituation program at school. This study uses a quantitative method with a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test experimental design. The data in this study were obtained by giving an objective test of 15 questions to grade II students which were used as a measuring tool for students' reading skills before and after the literacy program treatment, namely as a pre-test and post-test. The pre-test results showed that students' reading skills were still very low as seen from the average pre-test score of 42.86. After being given treatment through literacy habituation in the form of literacy activities and literacy workshops, there was a significant increase in reading skills as indicated by the average post-test score of 69.00. The results of this study indicate that the literacy habituation program at school is indeed considered effective in improving students' reading skills for elementary school students, especially in lower grades, but requires consistency and support from various related parties.
