Abstract

Kemampuan menulis dan memublikasikan karya ilmiah berbasis digital masih rendah di kalangan guru SMK. Program “Penguatan Literasi Digital melalui Pelatihan Penulisan dan Publikasi Artikel Ilmiah bagi Guru SMK” berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan menulis sekaligus kesiapan submission. Tujuan mencakup penguatan pemahaman struktur naskah, peningkatan literasi digital (kurasi sumber tepercaya, reference manager), serta kompetensi menavigasi Open Journal Systems (OJS). Metode meliputi lokakarya intensif pada bagian IMRaD/varian, praktik terarah menggunakan templat jurnal dan teknik sitasi, simulasi submission di OJS, serta pendampingan hybrid pascapelatihan hingga naskah siap unggah. Temuan menunjukkan mayoritas peserta berhasil menghasilkan draf yang memenuhi kaidah, membuat dan mengoptimalkan profil Google Scholar, serta menyiapkan naskah untuk dikirim ke jurnal nasional terakreditasi; sebagian juga menerbitkan tulisan populer di media daring sebagai diseminasi awal. Disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan terpadu—pelatihan teknis, literasi digital, dan mentoring berkelanjutan—efektif mempercepat kesiapan naskah sekaligus menumbuhkan budaya publikasi pada ekosistem sekolah kejuruan.

Abstract

Physics education is not only aimed at conveying abstract scientific concepts to students, but also to foster an understanding that science is rooted in and relevant to everyday life. One approach that can bridge physics education and everyday life is the ethnoscience approach. The ethnoscience approach in education is a strategy for creating a learning environment and designing learning experiences that integrate culture into learning. This study aims to examine the values ​​of physics in the Nias Stone Jump tradition as an opportunity for physics learning media for students at the secondary school level. By using descriptive qualitative methods and narrative literature review analysis, this study identified various journals and papers that show that local traditions in learning. The results of this study indicate that the Nias Stone Jump tradition has the potential to be an effective learning media to improve students' understanding of physics concepts and analysis in the learning process.

Abstract

Tugas guru disamping membelajarkan siswanya di kelas, juga dituntut untuk terus berkaryasesuai dengan bidang studinya masing-masing, salah satunya adalah menghasilkan karya ilmiah,terutama karya tulis yang dihasilkan dari penelitian tindakan kelas pada kelas yangdibelajarkannya sehari-hari. Program Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menyampaikan salah satusoftware informasi teknologi informasi yakni endnote yang dapat mempermudah para guru,khususnya guru-guru di SMA Negeri 3 Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dalam menyusun referensi yangdigunakan untuk menyusun karya ilmiah. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Guru-guru di SMANegeri 3 Kabupaten Muaro Jambi memperoleh informasi bahwa endnote sebagai salah satusoftware yang dapat mempermudah penyusunan referensi karya tulis ilmiah; 2) Guru-guru SMANegeri 3 Kabupaten Muaro Jambi terampil dalam menggunakan software endnote untukmenyusun referensi karya ilmiahnya. Kegiatan pengadian ini dilaksanakan dalam rentang waktuenam bulan pada SMA Negeri 3 Kabupaten Muaro Jambi yang terletak di Kecamatan Mestong.Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pendidikan penyuluhan, pelatihan dan demonstrasiyang melibatkan guru-guru SMA Negeri 3 Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Guru-guru sudah mulaimemahami teknik penggunaan endnote serta sudah ada yang mencoba penggunaan endnote,walaupun masih belum maksimal. Selanjutnya dibutuhkan latihan yang terus menerus untukpenggunaan endnote, agar bisa dimanfaatkan guru-guru SMA Negeri 3 Kabupaten Muaro Jambidalam mempermudah pengutipan dan penyusunan referensi karya tulis ilmiahnya termasuk hasilpenelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).

Abstract

This research is part of research into the development of flipbook learning media based on problem-based learning on acid-base material to increase students' digital literacy. The aim of this research is to determine the process of developing learning media in the form of flipbooks based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in learning acid-base material. Students' digital literacy is the main focus in this development. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a 4D model consisting of definition, design, development and deployment. The trial was carried out at SMA Negeri 13 Jambi City. The results of this research obtained an average score from media experts of 4.75 "very appropriate" and material experts of 4.64 "very appropriate". Furthermore, based on the teacher's responses and assessments, an average score of 4.75 "very adequate" was obtained. Then it also received a very good response from students on a scale of 5 with an average score of 88.6% "very good". And for students' digital literacy skills on a scale of 5 it reached 84.4% "very good".

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' literacy on greenhouse gas mitigation through a biochar-making project from school organic waste. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a project-based learning model. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi with 30 class VII G students as subjects. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The project was carried out by actively involving students in the biochar-making process, starting from waste collection, the pyrolysis process, to analyzing the benefits of biochar. The results showed that student involvement in the project significantly increased their understanding of greenhouse gases, their impacts, and mitigation solutions through biochar. Students were able to explain the concept of GHG, mention its negative impacts, understand the biochar-making process, and demonstrate an attitude of caring for the environment. In addition, teachers responded positively to the project and planned to integrate it into P5RA activities. Thus, the biochar production project has proven to be an effective method in improving students' literacy on GHG mitigation and can be used as an alternative for contextual learning based on the environment in schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan yang ada disekolah dalam mengembangkan kreativitas siswa. Kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa tidak terangsang untuk berpikir, bersikap, dan berperilaku kreatif. Penerapan model pembelajaran yang tepat merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan adalah model pembelajaran learning cycle 5e. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5e serta pengaruhnya terhadap kreativitas siswa pada materi laju reaksi di kelas XI MIA SMAN 9 Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Deskriptif Korelasional dengan desain concurrent embedded. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model oleh guru dan siswa serta kreativitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar. Pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan yaitu uji korelasi product moment. yang selanjutnya dilihat signifikasi pengaruhnya dengan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh persentase keterlakasanaan model learning cycle 5e oleh guru sebesar 75,00% (baik) dan siswa sebesar 70,31% (baik). Persentase kreativias siswa sebesar 62,43% (cukup baik) dan tes hasil belajar siswa sebesar 70,17% (baik). Hubungan keterlaksanaan model learning cycle 5e dan kreativitas siswa diperoleh rxy= 0,4676 dengan tingkat hubungan pada kategori kuat dan uji t sebesar 3,04, sehingga hipotesis penelitian (Ha) diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5e terhadap kreativitas siswa pada materi laju reaksi kelas XI MIA 3 SMAN 9 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence on the ability to understand mathematical concepts based on Van Hiele theory on the learning outcomes of STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh students. The research method that will be carried out is associative (correlational) research. Sample determination was carried out using random sampling technique or determining samples randomly after carrying out a normality test, test homogeneity and equality of means tests. The results of the calculations carried out obtained the calculated r value = 0.5 46 and r table = 0.444, apparently r count > r table , then it can be concluded that H 1 accepted , so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between learning interactions and results learn mathematics with interpretation Enough. Coefficient of determination (r)2 = 0.2981 . So the magnitude of the relationship between variable X and variable Y is 29.81 %. This means that the relationship between the ability to understand mathematical concepts and the learning outcomes of transformation geometry is 29.81 %.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi guru dan kesantunan berbahasa dalam meningkatkan literasi dasar siswa di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Jambi. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya literasi dasar siswa yang meliputi keterampilan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung, serta pola komunikasi guru yang kurang efektif yang cenderung satu arah dan kurangnya kesantunan berbahasa dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain survei, melibatkan 15 guru SMA di Kota Jambi yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi yang efektif, seperti komunikasi dua arah, instruksi yang jelas, dan umpan balik yang membangun, berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan literasi dasar siswa. Pola komunikasi tersebut meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi, kepercayaan diri, dan partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan literasi. Selain itu, kesantunan berbahasa guru, yang mencakup penggunaan bahasa yang penuh rasa hormat, menghargai, dan sesuai dengan norma sosial, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, meningkatkan motivasi, dan menumbuhkan ikatan emosional yang positif antara guru dan siswa. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kesantunan berbahasa sebagai bagian integral dari strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan literasi dasar siswa. Studi ini juga merekomendasikan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang pengaruh teknologi komunikasi dan peran lingkungan keluarga dalam mendukung literasi dasar siswa. Kata Kunci: Pola Komunikasi, Kesantunan Berbahasa, Literasi Dasar, Guru, Sekolah Menengah Atas, Kota Jambi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the scaffolding guidance provision on students' science process skills (SPS) in a project-based learning (PjBL) about acid and base concepts. A quasi-experimental research design was applied to collect data using a pre-validated SPS-observation. An experiment group of students of SMAN 3 in Jambi City had learnt the concepts using a scaffolding-assisted PjBL while a control group from the same school had learnt it using PjBL without scaffolding. Data was analyzed using t-test assisted by SPSS software. The results of analyses showed that the SPS of the experiment group was higher than their counterparts’ SPS. Statistical analyses showed an effect of the use of the scaffolding guidance on the students’ SPS with the p-value of .000 < .05. The experiment students had been observed achieved the indicators of the SPS during the learning process while their counterparts had not; and those may be due to the benefits of the provision of the scaffolding guidance that eased them to do their tasks. It can be concluded that the use of scaffolding guidance is able to overcome the problems faced by students in a project-based learning that thus improve their SPS

Abstract

Scaffolding is a strategy given by teachers to guide students to successfully complete learning tasks. Teachers may provide either questioning, cueing, prompting, or explaining and is based on students’ actual ability. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the scaffolding provision and students’ creative thinking skills on students' science process skills (SPS) in a project-based learning (PjBL) about acid and base concepts. A quasy factorial experiment research design was applied to collect data using a pre-validated SPS-observation. An experiment group from SMAN 3 in Jambi City had learnt the concepts using a scaffolding-assisted PjBL while a control group from the same school had learnt it using PjBL without scaffolding. Prior to the learning, creative thinking ability of the students was measured using a questionnaire. Data was then analyzed using a two-way Anova test assisted by SPSS software. The results of analyses showed that there was an effect of the scaffolding and the creative thinking ability on the students’ SPS. Potential interaction between those variables was also seen in affecting the SPS. It appears that the the presence of scaffolding and the initial students’ ability in creative thinking sinergetically improved the students’ SPS.
