Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of learning interest on learning outcomes as an effort to improve the quality of education. The method used is a quantitative approach with the Associative method. Data collection using questionnaires and documentation studies, where sampling uses a simple random sampling system distributed to 32 students. Learning interest plays an important role in determining the success of student learning outcomes. Interest is a psychological condition where individuals show a sense of liking and interest in an activity without external pressure. The results of the study showed that all questionnaires had valid validity with a calculated rvalue> from rtable 0.339, the results of the reliability test of the research data reached 0.905> 0.339 so that the measuring instrument was declared reliable, and the hypothesis test showed that learning interest had a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the influence of teacher professional competence on student learning outcomes at MTs Darul Hikmah Az-zikri NW Pringgarata and to examine how much teacher professional competence can illuminate student learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Associative method. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation studies, where sampling applied a simple random sampling system distributed to 47 students. The questionnaire form applied a Likert scale score with four alternative answers, while the documentation study was only a complementary technique in data collection. Based on data processing and the results of SPSS ver.26 calculations, statistical testing resulted in Ho being rejected and Ha being accepted, which explained that there was an influence between teacher professional competence on student learning achievement. This was obtained from the results of the T-test which produced a significance value of 0.000 <5% (0.05). The calculation of the determination coefficient explains that the teacher professional competence variable is able to explain the student learning outcome variable by 25%. While the remaining 75% is explained by other variables that were not studied.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila Education in shaping students' democratic attitudes in the multiethnic environment of Mataram City. Mataram City is known as a plural area with various ethnicities, cultures, and religions that coexist. In this context, Pancasila Education is an important instrument to instill the values of tolerance, equality, and respect for differences. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies in several secondary schools. The results of the study show that the implementation of Pancasila Education has made a significant contribution to increasing students' awareness of the importance of democracy, tolerance, and active involvement in deliberation. However, there are still challenges in the form of the influence of social media, the lack of integration of Pancasila values in extracurricular activities, and differences in students' family backgrounds. This study concludes that Pancasila Education plays a strategic role in shaping the democratic character of students, so it is necessary to innovate project-based learning methods and contextualize Pancasila values with students' daily lives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi kearifan lokal dalam Kurikulum Merdeka pada sekolah menengah di Kabupaten Lombok Utara sebagai strategi penguatan karakter dan identitas budaya siswa. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada pentingnya pendidikan yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga menanamkan nilai-nilai sosial budaya yang sesuai dengan konteks lokal. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di beberapa sekolah menengah. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan guru, observasi pembelajaran, serta analisis dokumen kurikulum dan program sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kearifan lokal, seperti tradisi begibung, seni gendang beleq, dan praktik gotong royong, telah diimplementasikan dalam berbagai mata pelajaran maupun kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Hal ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan sikap toleransi, solidaritas, dan kebanggaan budaya siswa. Namun, terdapat tantangan berupa keterbatasan sumber daya guru, kurangnya modul pembelajaran kontekstual, serta perbedaan persepsi dalam mengaitkan kearifan lokal dengan capaian pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, integrasi kearifan lokal dalam Kurikulum Merdeka berperan penting sebagai instrumen pendidikan karakter sekaligus penguatan identitas budaya, dengan catatan perlu penguatan kapasitas guru serta dukungan kebijakan berkelanjutan dari pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

The era of digital transformation has brought significant changes to the global social and economic structure. In Indonesia, the development of information technology plays a dual role on the one hand to increase economic efficiency and opportunities, but on the other hand widens the social gap between the groups of people who have digital access and those who are left behind. This article aims to analyze the impact of social policies on economic inequality in the context of digital transformation, using an interdisciplinary approach between sociology and public management. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method through literature studies, policy analysis, and secondary data from reports from the Central Statistics Agency and the Ministry of Communication and Informatics. The results of the study show that social policies that are adaptive to digital developments are able to reduce economic inequality through increasing digital literacy, equitable distribution of technological infrastructure, and digital-based community economic empowerment. However, imbalances in policy implementation, especially in disadvantaged areas, lead to a digital divide that strengthens social stratification. This study emphasizes the need for integration between social strategies and inclusive public management, so that digital policies can function as an instrument for equitable distribution of welfare.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has a significant impact on the formation of the social identity of the younger generation. Social media, digital spaces, and virtual culture are becoming new arenas where individuals construct, negotiate, and display their identities. This article aims to analyze the transformation of the social identity of the young generation in the digital era through sociological and cultural anthropological approaches. This study focuses on how interactions in virtual spaces shape patterns of communication, self-representation, and social relationships that are different from traditional patterns. This study uses a qualitative method based on literature studies and phenomenological observations on the behavior of the young generation on social media. The results show that digitalization drives a shift in values, where identity is no longer static, but fluid, plural, and often determined by algorithms and global popular culture dynamics. The identity of the younger generation is increasingly influenced by digital practices such as self-branding, the use of visual symbols, and participation in online communities. However, this transformation also raises paradoxes: on the one hand it expands the space of freedom of expression, but on the other hand increases vulnerability to cultural homogenization, social pressures and crises of authenticity. This article concludes that the transformation of social identity in the digital age must be understood as a continuous negotiation process between local values, globalization, and the influence of technology. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of digital literacy and cultural awareness as a strategy to strengthen the identity of the young generation to remain critical, reflective, and adaptive in the face of rapid social change.

Abstract

The success of a region's development is measured by several indicators such as HDI, regional inequality, economic growth and poverty levels. The aim of the research is to determine the success of regional development according to city districts in West Nusa Tenggara Province based on regional development indicators. The research method used is a qualitative research method based on quantitative data. The results of the research show that the HDI of districts and cities in West Nusa Tenggara province is in the medium category, namely 50-79. in districts and cities in West Nusa Tenggara Province is fluctuating and tends to increase in 2021

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan ilmu sosial dalam mendukung pengamanan stunting melalui pendekatan collaborative governance. Pendekatan ini menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antarpemangku kepentingan termasuk pemerintah, masyarakat, lembaga pendidikan, dan sektor swasta dalam merancang kebijakan dan strategi intervensi. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik studi literatur, observasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan ilmu sosial memiliki kontribusi penting dalam membentuk kesadaran kolektif, membangun jaringan sosial, serta memfasilitasi dialog partisipatif antara masyarakat dan pemerintah. Kolaborasi lintas sektor yang dikembangkan berbasis pada prinsip inklusivitas, transparansi, dan tanggung jawab bersama terbukti mampu mempercepat penanganan stunting di tingkat lokal. Rekomendasi utama penelitian ini adalah integrasi kurikulum ilmu sosial dengan isu-isu kesehatan masyarakat serta penguatan peran institusi pendidikan sebagai katnalisator kolaborasi lintas sektor dalam pengendalian stunting di Lombok Barat.

Abstract

Adolescence is a critical developmental period in which social interactions play a fundamental role in shaping emotional well-being. This study investigates the relationship between interpersonal communication, empathy, and happiness among secondary school students in Villavicencio, Chile. Drawing on a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from students enrolled in public and private high schools using validated self-report questionnaires measuring interpersonal communication skills, empathy, and subjective happiness. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression were employed to examine the relationships among variables. The findings reveal that interpersonal communication and empathy are positively and significantly correlated with students’ happiness. Interpersonal communication showed a strong association with empathy, indicating that effective communication skills facilitate greater emotional understanding and responsiveness toward others. Regression analysis further demonstrated that both interpersonal communication and empathy significantly predicted happiness, with empathy partially mediating the relationship between communication and well-being. These results suggest that adolescents’ happiness is closely linked to their capacity to communicate effectively and to engage empathetically within their social environment. The study contributes to the growing body of literature on social-emotional development in education by providing empirical evidence from a Latin American context, which remains underrepresented in existing research. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of integrating social-emotional learning programs into secondary education to foster communication skills and empathy as key determinants of student well-being. Despite its contributions, the study is limited by its cross-sectional design and reliance on self-report measures. Future research is encouraged to employ longitudinal and intervention-based approaches to further explore causal mechanisms and practical applications in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Student learning skills improve academic success. However, gender differences and internal psychological factors play an important role in academic performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of gender and academic self-efficacy on academic performance with study program selection as a mediating variable at a private university in East Java. This study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design on 157 respondents selected through stratified random sampling based on gender and study programs in Management and Accounting. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that academic self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on academic performance, while gender does not have a direct significant effect on academic performance, but it does affect study program selection. These findings indicate that internal psychological factors of students, particularly academic self-efficacy, play a more dominant role in explaining variations in academic performance than demographic factors or study program differences.
