Abstract

Citizenship education aims to cultivate citizens who not only possess good academic abilities but also have strong social awareness and are capable of actively participating in community life. This is achieved by instilling values ​​of democracy, human rights, and citizenship responsibility. In this study, a qualitative approach was used to analyze texts and descriptive data from relevant literature to assess the importance of citizenship education in building responsible and honest character. The results indicate that citizenship education involves understanding of political and legal systems as well as the formation of positive attitudes, values, and morals in individuals. Therefore, the next generation is expected to have strong character and contribute positively to society. Thus, this research highlights the importance of citizenship education in preparing individuals to be active, responsible citizens who play a role in building inclusive and democratic societies

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dampak Cyber Bullying di era digital pada masa remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur review. Penelitian ini menemukan hasil berupa terdapatnya pengaruh Cyber Bullying di era digital pada masa remaja. Berdasarkan studi literatur review didapatkan bahwa generasi remaja sekarang akan memiliki pendidikan yang baik di dunia nyata maupun maya. Indikator penyebab Cyber Bullying adalah 1) Anonimitas: Kebebasan untuk tetap anonim saat menggunakan internet dapat mendorong orang untuk bertindak kasar tanpa khawatir menghadapi dampak segera. 2) Kurangnya Empati: Ketika seorang pelaku secara fisik Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dampak Cyber Bullying di era digital pada remaja.

Abstract

Perkembangan isu Lesbian, Gay, Biseksual, dan Transgender (LGBT) di era globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi informasi memunculkan berbagai respons di masyarakat, khususnya dalam konteks nilai moral dan pendidikan remaja. Remaja sebagai kelompok usia yang berada pada fase pencarian jati diri menjadi rentan terhadap pengaruh informasi yang tidak selalu disertai dengan pendampingan nilai. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) berupa sosialisasi pendidikan moral serta menggambarkan respons dan pemahaman siswa terhadap isu LGBT. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 33 Pekanbaru dengan melibatkan siswa sebagai peserta dan mahasiswa sebagai fasilitator. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyampaian materi, kuis interaktif, diskusi, dan sharing session. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi kegiatan, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan sosialisasi yang dialogis dan interaktif mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap isu LGBT dalam kerangka nilai moral, norma sosial, dan budaya yang berlaku, serta mendorong sikap yang lebih kritis dan bertanggung jawab dalam menyikapi isu sosial.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran gender serta memperkuat peran puan (perempuan) dalam upaya pencegahan kekerasan seksual di lingkungan sekolah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui metode sosialisasi edukatif yang ditujukan kepada siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Sosialisasi dilakukan secara interaktif melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, tanya jawab, serta penyampaian slogan kampanye kesadaran gender. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pengenalan kesadaran gender, bentuk-bentuk kekerasan seksual, pentingnya menjaga batasan tubuh, serta upaya pencegahan kekerasan seksual di lingkungan sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya indikasi peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai jenis-jenis kekerasan seksual serta pentingnya menjaga sikap saling menghormati. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan respons positif yang tercermin dari meningkatnya keberanian dalam menyampaikan pendapat serta tumbuhnya kesadaran akan pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan bebas dari kekerasan seksual.

Abstract

Radicalism and terrorism pose a serious threat to national unity, particularly for young people who are in the process of searching for their identity, making senior high schools a strategic environment for prevention efforts through the strengthening of Pancasila values; the Community Service activity at SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru on November 27, 2025, involving 45 students and facilitated by 8 lecturers from Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau, was carried out through a socialization program in the form of a presentation themed “Pancasila: Learning to Prevent Terrorism Together”, delivered in a communicative and contextual manner, which generated positive responses from students who enthusiastically participated in the activity, and is expected to foster awareness of the importance of Pancasila values as an ideological safeguard against radicalism and terrorism from an early age.

Abstract

Bullying remains a prevalent problem in the school environment and has negative impacts on students’ psychological, social, and academic development. This article aims to describe the implementation and impact of anti-bullying socialization activities as an application of Pancasila values at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The method employed was descriptive qualitative, involving student interviews and the delivery of material through educational presentations. The activity was conducted on November 27, 2025, by students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau. The results indicate that prior to the socialization, students’ understanding of bullying was largely limited to physical and verbal acts. After the activity, students were able to recognize various forms of bullying, understand its impacts, and appreciate the importance of empathy and tolerance. This activity contributed to the creation of a safe, inclusive school environment aligned with the values of Pancasila.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance students' understanding and awareness regarding bullyingprevention at SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru through an educational program. The program was initiated due tothe high prevalence of bullying in school environments, which negatively impacts students' psychological andsocial well-being. The methods employed included preliminary observations, educational material delivery,interactive discussions, and pre-and-post evaluation to measure comprehension levels. Results indicated asignificant improvement in students' ability to identify bullying forms and their consequences, with evaluationscores showing an average increase in awareness of 35%. The involvement of the student council (OSIS) andvisual media played a crucial role in fostering active participation. While cognitive understanding improved,minor verbal interactions outside the classroom still require ongoing monitoring. This activity concludes thatsustainable educational interventions and stakeholder collaboration are vital for a bullying-free schoolenvironment.

Abstract

Cases of violence and sexual crimes continue to increase and have become a complicated and very important issue among the overall crimes experienced by women. Sexual violence is rampant among female students in schools. Cases of sexual violence against children are triggered by the low level of sexual education, which is considered taboo and inappropriate for children. The aim of this activity is to raise awareness and strengthen efforts to prevent and address sexual violence in teenage and school environments. This education is carried out using a socialization method. The results of this activity show an increase in knowledge related to the prevention and handling of sexual violence.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted to enhance students’ understanding and awareness at SD Negeri 035 Tarai Bangun regarding the prevention of violent behavior through an educational outreach approach. Terrorism represents a complex and multidimensional global threat that continues to evolve and poses risks of violence and social instability. Accordingly, this program aimed to introduce early prevention strategies by strengthening students’ knowledge and values related to peace, tolerance, and critical thinking. The methods employed included preliminary observation, delivery of educational materials, interactive discussions, and a simple evaluation to assess students’ comprehension. The outreach activities targeted elementary school students as a vulnerable group that requires early educational intervention to prevent exposure to violent and extremist ideologies. The results demonstrated an improvement in students’ understanding following the program, as reflected in satisfactory post-activity quiz outcomes. These findings indicate that educational socialization is an effective early preventive strategy to equip students with essential knowledge and critical attitudes to reject violence, terrorism, and radicalism.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan sosial yang dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran anak-anak panti asuhan trhadap perilaku bullying serta membangun sikap social yang positif. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan di panti asuhan An-Nisa dengan melibatkan anak-anak usia sedolah dasar hingga remaja. Metode  yang digunakan adalah metode sosialisasi edukatif sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, permainan edukatif, role play dan quiz yang bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman serta kesadaran peserta bullying. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman anak-anak panti asuhan terhadap perilaku bullying serta membangun sikap sosial uang beretika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil kegiatan ini meninunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai bentuk dan dampak bullying, perubahan sikap yang lebih menolak perilaku perundungan, meningkatkan keberanian dalam menyampaikan pendapat serta berkembangnya rasa empati dan kepedulian sosial antarpeserta. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam menciptakan lingkungan panti asuhan yang aman, harmonis dan beretika.
