Abstract

In a modern era filled with information upheavals and complex political dynamics, a profound understanding of political communication becomes increasingly crucial. This article outlines a brief introduction to the significance of political communication in shaping public opinion and political decisions. Its aim is to delve into the fundamental concepts and implications of political communication in contemporary society. Descriptive qualitative methods are employed to explore and analyze relevant literature and research. The research findings indicate that political communication plays a central role in shaping the political dynamics of a nation, while a deep understanding of political concepts helps address complex challenges in the political process. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of conducting effective political communication and possessing a strong grasp of political concepts to strengthen democracy and build public trust in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the political communication strategies used in building a political image. With dynamic changes in the world of politics and media, political communication strategies have become key in shaping public perceptions of political leaders and parties. Qualitative research methods were used to analyze case studies from various political contexts. Key findings highlight the importance of consistent and measurable messages, the use of social media as a key tool in delivering political messages, as well as the strategic role of narratives in influencing public opinion. In addition, identification of the right target audience and adaptation of messages according to their needs are also key elements of a successful political communication strategy. The implications of these findings can help political decision-makers and communication practitioners to be more effective in building and maintaining the desired political image. The development of a more holistic and sustainable political communication strategy can help improve the quality of political dialog, strengthen public participation, and strengthen the overall foundation of democracy.

Abstract

This research examines the forms of political communication in the campaign strategy to increase voter participation in the 2024 North Sumatra regional elections. This research aims to identify and analyze the forms of political communication used in the 2024 North Sumatra regional election campaign strategy and evaluate their effectiveness in increasing voter participation. This research uses a qualitative approach using the case study method. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The research results reveal that various forms of political communication have an important role in increasing voter participation in the 2024 North Sumatra regional elections. Interpersonal communication through door-to-door campaigns and community meetings increases voter confidence. Mass media such as television, radio and newspapers help shape public opinion. Social media is effective in reaching young and urban voters. Political debates and speeches provide an opportunity for candidates to present their work programs. Door-to-door campaigns remain effective in rural areas. This combination of various forms of political communication has proven effective in increasing voter participation.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan upaya penting dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan, ketangkasan, dan kecakapan individu agar dapat berfungsi baik yang nantinya bukan hanya untuk masyarakat melainkan untuk dirinya sendiri. Lembaga pendidikan bertugas untuk membina, mendidik, dan mencipatkan manusia berilmu terhadap diri sendiri dan orang sekitar dan bertaqwa kepada Allah SWT. Sehingga terciptanya hubungan baik antar sesama manusia (habluminannas) dan yang paling penting dengan Allah (habluminAllah). Pelaksanaan pelatihan enterpreneurship berbasis digital marketing shopee di MTS Al-ikhlas di desa Perkebunan Membang Muda telah berjalan sesuai dengan rancangan kegiatan yang disusun sejak awal. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan sosialisasi dan bimbingan yang telah dilaksanakan berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam memanfaatkan serta menggunakan media sosial sebagai sarana untuk berwirausaha. Melalui pelatihan ini, peserta menjadi lebih memahami strategi pemasaran digital, cara membangun citra produk, serta penggunaan platform media sosial secara efektif untuk menjangkau konsumen yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Digitalisasi desa menjadi salah satu strategi penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan program berbasis masyarakat, termasuk pengelolaan taman gizi desa. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pemanfaatan Google Maps dalam mendukung digitalisasi taman gizi di Desa Perkebunan Membang Muda, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) mahasiswa UIN Sumatera Utara tahun 2025 dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan perangkat desa dan masyarakat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi pemetaan lokasi taman gizi, pencatatan titik koordinat, dokumentasi visual, serta penyusunan informasi lahan yang dapat diakses secara daring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Google Maps mampu mengalihkan sistem pendataan taman gizi dari manual ke digital sehingga data menjadi lebih tertata, transparan, dan mudah diakses. Selain meningkatkan efisiensi pelaporan dan pemantauan, kegiatan ini juga mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pengelolaan dan pembaruan data. Meskipun masih terdapat kendala berupa keterbatasan literasi digital dan akses jaringan internet, pendampingan dan pelatihan secara bertahap terbukti membantu masyarakat dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital tersebut.
