Abstract

Abstrak Number Sense dan numerasi  saling terkait satu sama lain. Siswa yang memiliki Number sense mampu menyelesaikan masalah numerasi secara fleksibel dan lebih  kreatif. Namun hasil dari uji numerasi AKM (Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum) oleh pemerintah dan beberapa penelitian menyatakan bahwa kemampuan numerasi siswa tergolong rendah dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan number sense siswa juga rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan Number Sense siswa  dalam menyelesaikan soal numerasi model AKM berbasis penalaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan melibatkan 30 siswa kelas 8-A  SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Pengumpulan data meliputi tes dan non tes. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal numerasi model AKM berbasis penalaran yang memuat unsur Number Sense. Analisis data mencakup  pengumpulan data, reduksi data, analisis data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan number sense siswa secara umum masih tergolong rendah terutama pada indikator  mengidentifikasi sifat berurutan dari beberapa bilangan dan keteraturan pada sistem bilangan pada materi sifat urutan bilangan dan  indikator mengidentifikasi karakteristik hasil operasi bilangan dan implikasinya pada berbagai jenis bilangan pada materi operasi bilangan. Siswa juga memiliki kesulitan menyelesaiakan soal numerasi model AKM dalam konteks  sosial dan budaya.  Abstract Number Sense and numeration are related to each other. Students who have Number sense are able to solve numeration problems flexibly and more creatively. However, the results of the government's AKM (Minimum Competency Assessment) numeracy test and several studies state that students' numeracy skills are classified as low and it can be concluded that students' number sense abilities are also low. The purpose of this research is to describe the Number Sense ability of students in solving reasoning-based AKM model numeracy questions. The approach used was qualitative and involved 30 grade 8-A students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah in Aceh Singkil District. Data collection includes tests and non-tests. The instrument used is the reasoning-based AKM model numeration questions which contain Number Sense elements. Data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data analysis and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the students' number sense ability in general was still relatively low, especially on the indicators identifying the sequential properties of several numbers and the regularity of the number system on the nature of number sequences and the indicators identifying the characteristics of the results of number operations and their implications for various types of numbers in the number operations material. Students also have difficulty solving AKM model numeration problems in social and cultural contexts.

Abstract

 Geometri merupakan cabang matematika yang wajib dipelajari. Salah satu materi geometri yang paling sulit untuk dipelajari adalah dimensi tiga, yang membutuhkan keterampilan visual dan spasial yang sangat tinggi. RME yaitu pendekatan pembelajaran yang mudah dipahami siswa karena menggunakan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkan suatu aplikasi pembelajaran mobile berbasis RME pada materi dimensi tiga. Studi ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian pengembangan ADDIE (Analisa, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi). Popluasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mobile Learning  Milea D3 telah valid, praktis, dan efektif.  Dalam uji coba terhadap sepuluh siswa, media masuk dalam kategori baik, dan hanya satu siswa tidak tuntas belajar. Media pembelajaran Milea D3 tergolong baik dan layak digunakan. Geometry is a branch of mathematics that must be studied. One of the most difficult geometry materials to learn is three dimensions, which requires very high visual and spatial skills. RME is a learning approach that is easy for students to understand because it uses the context of everyday life. Therefore, an RME-based mobile learning application was developed on three-dimensional material. This study was conducted using the ADDIE development research method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The population of this research is class XII high school students. The results of the research show that Mobile Learning Milea D3 is valid, practical and effective. In a trial of ten students, the media was included in the good category, and only one student did not complete the study. Milea D3 learning media is quite good and suitable for use.Keywords: Three Dimenssion; Mobile Learning; RMEMathematics is one of the subjects that must be mastered by students in school, especially in three-dimensional material. Three dimensions is one of the most difficult mathematical materials to learn because it requires high visual-spatial abilities. RME is a learning approach that is carried out using the context of everyday life. This is the reason for developing an RME-based mobile learning application on Three Dimensional material. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model. The steps consist of: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluations. The results of the research show that the developed media is valid, practical and effective. The test results on 10 students with high, medium and low abilities showed that the media was in the good category with 9 students completing their studies and 1 student not completing their studies. Mobile learning can help students understand shapes and spaces in Three Dimensional material.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah adalah salah satu dari banyak tujuan yang ingin dicapai oleh pendidikan abad ke-21. Kajian ini menggunakan analisis isi terhadap sejumlah artikel yang telah dipublikasikan di jurnal ilmiah terindeks Sinta atau Scopus dari 2018 hingga 2022, dengan fokus utama kajian tentang tren pemanfaatan teknologi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Hasil studi menjelaskan bahwa dalam tiga tahun terakhir, jumlah publikasi yang berfokus pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan bantuan teknologi telah meningkat. Di antara publikasi tersebut, jenis penelitian yang paling dominan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Selain itu, siswa kelas VII dan X serta topik Geomtri berturut-turut menjadi subjek dan topik yang paling banyak diteliti. Adapun teknologi yang paling banyak digunakan dalam penelitian adalah aplikasi geogebra dengan perlakuan yang paling banyak diterapkan adalah problem-based learning. Instrumen tes dan metode analisis data dengan uji-t merupakan yang paling umum digunakan. Berkaitan dengan penelitian ini, beberapa saran telah diajukan untuk penelitian mendatang yang mendasari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan bantuan teknologi sebagai fokus utama. Beberapa rekomendasi tersebut antara lain meningkatkan keragaman teknologi yang digunakan yang disesuaikan dengan topik pembelajaran dan pemilihan teknik analisis data yang tepat.

Abstract

Salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki untuk menghadapi era teknologi society 5.0 adalah kemampuan literasi matematika disamping kemampuan menggunakan teknologi. Teknologi yang ada dapat diintegrasikan dengan literasi matematika pada kurikulum merdeka agar kemampuan berjalan seimbang. Metode yang digunakan pada artikel ini adalah studi literatur yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber yang relevan. Tujuan penulisan artikel adalah untuk menyajikan review pentingnya literasi matematika, usaha yang sudah dilakukan untuk mengembangkan literasi matematika, peran teknologi dalam literasi matematika, saran bagi pengembangan literasi matematika peserta didik kedepannya. Data dari artikel yang bersumber dari jurnal nasional bereputasi SINTA 1, SINTA 2 dan jurnal internasional dikumpulkan, disaring, kemudian disintesis sehingga terbentuk suatu artikel. Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa literasi matematika penting untuk dikuasai peserta didik karena permasalahan matematika di kehidupan sehari-hari semakin kompleks dan dibutuhkan keahlian untuk menyelesaikannya. Hingga saat ini, yang telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik yaitu dengan membiasakan peserta didik dengan soal kontekstual, soal adaptasi PISA, menggunakan berbagai model, pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif, dan penggunaan teknologi. Namun penggunaan teknologi masih jarang digunakan untuk mengembangkan literasi matematika peserta didik. Di sisi lain, penggunaan teknologi terbukti dapat mengembangkan literasi matematika, seperti Adobe Flash dan Flipbook. Diharapkan guru dapat menggunakan teknologi untuk mengasah literasi matematika peserta didik agar peserta didik melek literasi matematika dan teknologi.  One of the abilities that must be possessed to face the technological era of society 5.0 is mathematical literacy skills as well as the ability to use technology. Existing technology can be integrated with mathematical literacy in the independent curriculum so that skills are balanced. The method used in this article is a literature study obtained from various relevant sources. The purpose of writing the article is to present a review of the importance of mathematical literacy, the efforts that have been made to develop mathematical literacy, the role of technology in mathematical literacy, suggestions for developing students' mathematical literacy in the future. Data from articles sourced from reputable national journals SINTA 1, SINTA 2 and international journals were collected, filtered, then synthesized to form an article. The results of the literature study show that mathematical literacy is important for students to master because mathematical problems in everyday life are increasingly complex and skills are needed to solve them. To date, what has been done to improve students' mathematical literacy skills is by familiarizing students with contextual questions, PISA adaptation questions, using various models, innovative learning approaches, and the use of technology. However, the use of technology is still rarely used to develop students' mathematical literacy. On the other hand, the use of technology has been proven to develop mathematical literacy, such as Adobe Flash and Flipbook. It is hoped that teachers can use technology to hone students' mathematical literacy so that students are literate in mathematics and technology.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran matematikamenggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme dan pendekatan konvensional ditinjau dari kemandirianbelajar siswa dan (2) mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran matematika menggunakanpendekatan konstruktivisme dan pendekatan konvensional ditinjau dari prestasi belajar siswa.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan metode pretest-posttest control groupdesign. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1)pembelajaran matematika menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme dan pendekatan konvensionalefektif ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar siswa, namun pembelajaran matematika menggunakanpendekatan konstruktivisme lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran matematika menggunakanpendekatan konvensional ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar siswa dan (2) pembelajaran matematikamenggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme dan pendekatan konvensional efektif ditinjau dari prestasibelajar siswa, namun pembelajaran matematika menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme lebihefektif daripada pembelajaran matematika menggunakan pendekatan konvensional ditinjau dariprestasi belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: pendekatan konstruktivisme, pendekatan konvensional, kemandirian belajar, prestasibelajar

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of problem posing approach in regards to problem solving ability on high school students of class X in learning mathematics. This research was quasi experiment with pre-test post-test group design. The subjects of this study were students grade X in SMA Negeri Imogiri, where the samples were class X4. The samples were given the treatment of problem posing. The research instruments are problem solving ability test and observation sheet. The validity of the instruments was determined through content validity. The results of data analyze showed that learning by problem posing approach is effective to increase problem solving ability on high school students of class X SMA Negeri Imogiri in learning mathematics. Abstract

Masalah yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika, salah satunya adalah belum maksimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi yang berakibat pada timbulnnya kejenuhan siswa dalm belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media whiteboard animation berbasis pendekatan saintifik untuk memfasilitasi peningkatan kemadirian belajar. Subjek penelitian  yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Yogyakarta. Desain media whiteboard animation berbasis pendekatan saintifik yang dihasilkan diimplementasi dengan menggunakan langkah ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data dari angket validasi yaitu ahli materi dan ahli media, angket respon siswa, dan angket kemandirian belajar siswa. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan penelitian terdiri dari analisis data kevalidan, data kepraktisan, dan data kemandirian belajar. Hasil penelitian dari uji kevalidan media whiteboard animation berbasis pendekatan saintifik menyatakan bahwa kriteria valid, dari nilai rata-rata penilaian ahli materi diperoleh sebesar 4,55 dengan kategori sangat baik  dan nilai rata-rata penilaian ahli media diperoleh sebesar 4,29 dengan kategori sangat baik . Uji kepraktisan siswa respon siswa diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 3, 53 dengan kategori sangat baik . Uji kemandirian belajar diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 3, 60 dengan kategori baik . Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa media whiteboard animation berbasis pendekatan saintifiik ini valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam menfasilitasi peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa.One of the problems faced in the implementation of Mathematics learning is the lack of maximum utilization of technology which results in the emergence of student boredom in learning. This research aims develop at whiteboard animation media based on the scientific approach to facilitate increased learning independence. The research subjects were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Yogyakarta. The whiteboard animation media design based on the scientific approach is implemented using ADDIE steps. This research was conducted by collecting data from validation questionnaires, namely material experts and media experts, student response questionnaires, and student learning independence questionnaires. The data analysis technique used by the research consists of analyzing validity data, practicality data, and learning independence data. The results of the research from the validity test of the whiteboard animation media based on the scientific approach state that the criteria are valid, from the average value of the material expert assessment obtained at 4.55 with a very good category  and the average value of the media expert assessment obtained at 4.29 with a very good category . The practicality test of student responses obtained an average value of 3, 53 with a very good category . The learning independence test obtained an average value of 3, 60 with a good category . It can be concluded that the whiteboard animation media based on the scientific approach is valid, practical, and effective in facilitating learning.

Abstract

One of the technologies developed massively in learning is Augmented Reality (AR) technology. This research will explain the challenges of teachers in developing AR-assisted learning media and strategies to anticipate the challenges that arise in developing AR-assisted learning media. This type of research is qualitative phenomenological research. The participants of this research were 75 Mathematics teachers who joined the developing AR-assisted learning media training. The teachers came from various regions in Indonesia. The mathematics teachers invited were 36 junior high school teachers and 29 senior high school teachers from public and private schools who were vulnerable at the age of 22-35 years and 27 teacher is male and the others are female. They have attended an AR-assisted media development training because have interested in AR and education. The data collection used is a questionnaire and an interview which is done to all participants and data analyzed using the Bogdan & Biklen model. The results of the research show that the challenges encountered by the teacher are meeting the minimum standards of hardware and software, limited references both sourced from humans, online media or print media. Efforts made by teachers to overcome existing problems such as gradually upgrading laptops, finding sources from foreign languages and trying to form joint learning communities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan numerasi dan tingkat growth mindset siswa SMP dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Kabupaten Purworejo. Penelitian dilakukan pada enam sekolah dengan total sampel sebanyak 171 siswa kelas VIII dari tiga SMP dan tiga Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Kabupaten Purworejo. Data dianalisis menggunakan estimasi parameter untuk melihat kemampuan numerasi dan tingkat growth mindset populasi serta uji korelasi untuk melihat hubungan kemampuan numerasi dan tingkat growth mindset siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara umum rata-rata skor kemampuan numerasi siswa berada dalam kategori perlu intervensi khusus dan tingkat growth mindset siswa berada dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan uji korelasi didapatkan hubungan antara kemampuan numerasi dan growth mindset siswa yang signifikan namun rendah.This research is survey research that aims to describe the numeracy abilities and growth mindset level of junior high school and Tsanawiyah students in Purworejo Regency. The research was conducted at six schools with a total sample of 171 class VIII students from three junior high schools and three Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Purworejo Regency. The data was analyzed using parameter estimates to see numeracy abilities and population growth mindset levels as well as correlation tests to see the relationship between numeracy abilities and students' growth mindset levels. The research results show that in general the average score of students' numeracy skills is in the category that requires special intervention and the level of students' growth mindset is in the medium category. Based on the correlation test, it was found that the relationship between numeracy ability and students' growth mindset was significant but low.

Abstract

The idea of Microworld Logo brought new perspectives in education. It gives inspiration to develop and look deeply into the powerful ways in which computers and educational software might improve teaching-learning processes. However, the implementation of this Logo seems to be unsuccessful. This paper discusses and evaluates the implementation of Logo in classrooms' context and discusses some obstacles in its implementation in classrooms so that teachers could get lesson from that. It considers the notion of Logo's history and its preceding implementation to identify the problems on Logo's implementation. This study shows that the failure of Logo implementation might be comes from the limitations of Logo itself, human and technical resources, and learning environments that are related with curriculum and schools policies.
