Abstract

Background: Being overweight has become an epidemic health problem worldwide. The prevalence of overweight and obesity in the Islamic boarding school was 20.92%. It occurs due to an imbalance in food intake that affects the body's metabolism, resulting in the accumulation of fat in the blood and an increase in triglyceride levels.Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between macronutrient intake and triglyceride levels in overweight adolescents in an Islamic boarding school.Methods: This type of research employed observational analysis using a cross-sectional design. The research was conducted at Universitas Darussalam Gontor from November 2022 to February 2023. The study included 50 female students aged 17 to 25 years. BMI of overweight measurements using digital weight scales of the GEA medical brand type EB 9360 and microtoise types of portable stadiometer brands. Macronutrient intake was determined using the 24-hour food recall method, and triglyceride levels were measured using Pictus 400 with Wiener brand reagent for laboratory tests. The statistical test used was the gamma test.Results: The majority of respondents were found to have a lower macronutrient intake, while 44% had more than adequate intake, and 38% had a higher carbohydrate intake. For protein intake, most respondents (90%) were categorized as having excessive intake. Similarly, for fat intake, some respondents (88%) were also categorized as having excessive intake. The results of examining triglyceride levels in the respondents' bodies showed that 88% had normal triglyceride levels and 12% had abnormal levels. The gamma test showed that the p-value of carbohydrate intake with triglyceride levels was p = 0.166, for protein intake with triglyceride levels, p = 0.051, and for fat intake with triglyceride levels, p = 0.037.Conclusions: A relationship was found between fat intake and triglyceride levels. But, there was no significant relationship between carbohydrate and protein intake and triglyceride levels.

Abstract

Factors related to hemoglobin levels among pregnant women: case control study at the Pitu District Health Center, Ngawi RegencyBackground: Hemoglobin is an indicator of iron availability in the body, and its levels can be affected by iron deficiency. A decrease in hemoglobin levels can lead to anemia, which increases the risk of maternal mortality during childbirth.Objective: This study aimed to analyze factors related to hemoglobin levels, such as nutritional status and Eating patterns, among pregnant women at the Pitu District Health Center, Ngawi Regency.Methods: A case-control study involving 76 pregnant mothers (18-42 years old) from the Pitu Community Health Center area in Ngawi Regency was conducted using purposive sampling. The study needed 38 people per group. This study uses a 1:1 comparison of cases and controls. The modified semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire was used to collect data on pregnant women’s dietary patterns. Anthropometric data measured MUAC (Upper Arm Circumference) using standard measurements. The obtained data were analyzed by using the Chi-Square test.Results: The similarities in both the case and control groups are that the majority of mothers are of non-risk age for childbirth, have low socioeconomic status, are housewives, and have inadequate iron intake. However, in the case group, inadequate vitamin C intake was also found. There is a significant relationship between nutritional status (p=0.049; OR=0.255) and feeding frequency (p=0.001; OR=5.385) with hemoglobin levels. Type and amount of feedings had no relationship with hemoglobin levels (p=0.818: OR=0.810).Conclusions:  The study reveals an inverse relationship between nutritional status and feeding frequency and hemoglobin levels, but not for the type and amount of feedings among pregnant women at the Pitu District Health Center, Ngawi Regency.

Abstract

Being overweight is one of the many health problems that occur in modern times. Stress and macronutrient intake are factors that can affect the occurrence of increased cholesterol levels and decreased HDL in overweight. This study aimed to determine the relationship between stress factors and macronutrient intake on cholesterol and HDL levels. This research uses a cross-sectional design with a purposive sampling method, namely selecting subjects with certain criteria. The number of subjects was 50 Overweight female students based on the population proportion sample formula calculation. Stress data was measured using the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS 42) questionnaire and macronutrient intake data using a 24-hour food recall form. Data analysis using the Chi-square test. The results obtained stated that 30% of respondents had high cholesterol levels, 2% of respondents had low HDL levels. As many as 22% of respondents experienced stress, the carbohydrate intake of 80% of respondents was inadequate, the protein intake of 96% of respondents was inadequate, the fat intake of 96% of respondents was inadequate. Analysis of the relationship between stress and total cholesterol (p=0.152), carbohydrate intake (p=0.416), protein (p=0.331) fat (p=0.669) with total cholesterol levels, carbohydrate intake (p=0.080) protein (0.960) fat (0.960 ) with HDL levels. Stress factor with HDL levels (p=0.044). It can be concluded that there is no relationship between stress factors, carbohydrate, protein and fat intake with total cholesterol levels. There is no relationship between carbohydrate, protein and fat intake with HDL levels. There is a significant relationship between stress factors and HDL levels in overweight female students.

Abstract

Masalah anak pendek (stunting) adalah salah satu permasalahan gizi yang menjadi fokus Pemerintah Indonesia, hal ini dikarenakan stunting berdampak negatif terhadap sumber daya manusia di masa yang akan datang. Stunting adalah salah satu keadaan malnutrisi yang berhubungan dengan ketidakcukupan zat gizi masa lalu sehingga termasuk dalam masalah gizi yang bersifat kronis. Dalam Undang-Undang No. 36 Tahun 2009 tentang kesehatan bertujuan untuk terwujud derajat kesehatan masyarakat yang setinggi-tingginya, sebagai investasi bagi pembangunan sumber daya manusia, Kami akan melaksanakan program ini di desa Kedungharjo, dikarenakan memiliki prevelensi stunting sebesar 26,14 %, apabila dilihat dari angka presentase tersebut dapat dikatakan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan angka nasional.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Dusun merupakan tempat yang didalamnya terdapat banyak potensi, masyarakat di dusun yang memiliki potensi wilayah yang subur dan sumber daya local yang besar, tetapi belum dikembangkan dengan optimal. Hal ini diakibatkan oleh pengelolahan sumber daya yang kurang maksimal dan masih dilakukan secara manual. Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya pemberdayaan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan penduduk guna mengelola asset local mereka. Pemberdayaan dilakukan dengan cara penyampaian informasi, praktek dan pendampingan secara langsung terhadap kegiatan pemberdayaan yang meliputi 4 bidang yaitu kesehatan, kreativitas, spiritualitas dan digitalisasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pemberdayaan diukur dengan bartambahnya wawasan dan kemampuan masyarakat untuk mengolah potensi local menjadi sesuatu yang bernilai. Pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan mendapatkan dukungan dari masyarakat ditandai dengan antusias dalam mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan yang berlangsung. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan telah memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat di Dusun Bungkus secara umum dan mitra kegiatan secara khusus. Kata Kunci: optimalisasi, Sumber Daya, Masyarakat, Pemberdayaan ABSTRACT A hamlet is a place where there is a lot of potential, the people in the hamlet have the potential for a fertile area and large local resources, but have not yet been developed optimally. This is caused by resource management that is unoptimaly work and it is still done manually. Therefore, empowerment efforts are needed to develop the skills of the population to manage their local assets. Empowerment is carried out by providing information, practice and direct assistance to empowerment activities which cover 4 programs namely health, creativity, spirituality and digitalization. The results of empowerment activities are measured by increasing the community's insight and ability to process local potential into something of value. The implementation of the empowerment program received support from the community, marked by enthusiasm for participating in the series of ongoing activities. Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan dan kesehatan masih menjadi salah satu permasalahan masyarakat serta aspek penting dalam kehidupan. Pedidikan dan kesehatan yang baik menghasilkan sumber daya manusia berkualitas. Pengembangan pendidikan berbasil al qur’an, peningkatan kesehatan PHBS dan bebas anemia melalui pendekatan dan pelatihan masyarakat. Pembimbingan dan pengajaran kepada murid TPA Al-Muttaqin menggunakan media poster dan alat bermain sesuai mata pelajaran. Pendekatan melalui upaya edukasi bebas anemia dengan media leaflet. Monitoring evaluasi dilaksanakan setelah intervensi diberikan. Pengembangan pendidikan dengan pembuatan kurikulum belajar di TPA memberikan dampak konkret pada pemahaman peserta didik. Edukasi kesehatan PHBS pada anak sekolah dasar dan bebas anemia menunjukkan perbedaan nilai yang signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah. kegiatan penting dijalankan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan nonformal dan kesehatan. Program berjalan dengan baik, karena dukungan dan antusiasme masyarakat Dusun Jegolan, SDN 5 Tempuran, serta TPA Al-Muttaqin. Kata Kunci: Al-Quran, Kesehatan, PHBS, Anemia  ABSTRACT Education and health represent important societal issues and crucial components of life. High-quality education and healthcare contribute to the development of skilled and capable individuals. Enhance education based on Al-Qur'an, improve PHBS health practices, and reduce anemia with community-based approaches and training. Deliver instruction and guidance to TPA Al-Muttaqin students using subject-specific play equipment and posters.  Implement a strategy that focuses on delivering education free of anemia using leaflet media. Post-intervention evaluation monitoring is conducted. The implementation of a learning program at TPA has a significant affect on the comprehension of students. There were statistically significant differences in the scores of anemia-free education and PHBS health education for elementary school children before and after the intervention. This activity is crucial for improving the quality of non-formal education and health. The program performs successfully due to the support and enthusiasm of the community in Dusun Jegolan, SDN 5 Tempuran, and TPA Al-Muttaqin. Keywords: Education, Health, PHBS, Anemia

Abstract

Background: Central obesity was a health problem in Indonesia. One of indicator to find out central obesity was abdominal circumference. According to preliminary research, 28.4% of students had abdominal circumference >80 cm. Central obesity cause is multifactorial. Objectives: To identify factors related to abdominal circumference in adolescent girls. Methods: The design research was a cross-sectional. The total sample was 89 respondents, using the Lemeshow formula. The Sampling was taken by purposive sampling. The abdominal circumference data was measured by a metline. The percentage of body fat was analyzed with the Omron body fat analyzer. Food consumption patterns used Semi Quantitative Food Frequency (SQ-FFQ). Emotional overeating used the Adult Eating Behaviour Questionnaire (AEBQ), diet attitude, and oral control with the Eating Attitude Test (EAT)-26. The Data was analyzed by STATA 13 with the spearman test. Results: Relationship of BMI (p=0.000; r=0.677), percentage of body fat (p=0.000; r=0.56), kind of junk food (p=0.02; r=0.23). frequency of junk food (p=0.04; r=0.21), energy intake from junk food (p=0.0061, r=0.28), fat intake from junk food (p=0.018, r=0.24), total enery intake (p=0.036; r=0.222), total fat intake (p=0.01; r=0.24); total fiber (p=0.17; r=0.14); overeating (p=0.018, r=0.25); diet attitude (p=0.000; r=-0.52), and oral control (p=0.0001; r=0.39) with abdominal circumference. Conclusions: There was a relationship between BMI, body fat percentage, junk food consumption pattern (type, frequency, amount of intake and fat), energy intake, fat intake, emotional overeating, diet attitude, and oral control of the abdominal circumference. There was no significant relationship between fiber intake and abdominal circumference.

Abstract

Salah satu cara memantau status gizi balita adalah dengan melakukan penimbangan dan pengukuran di posyandu. Keberhasilan posyandu dapat diketahui dari capaian SKDN, dimana salah satu indikatornya adalah N/D. Berdasarkan survei pendahuluan, prevalensi N/D yang terdapat di Dusun Pucanganom 2, Desa Kendal, Kecamatan Kendal, Kabupaten Ngawi yaitu sebesar 46%. Hal ini menunjukan tingkat keberhasilan kenaikan berat badan balita di posyandu tersebut masih rendah. Cakupan N/D rendah disebabkan karena faktor yang bersifat eksternal maupun internal. Maka, dari permasalahan tersebut perlu mengadakan program intervensi gizi untuk membantu meningkatkan presentase kenaikan N/D di dusun tersebut dengan cara meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi melalui pendampingan berupa penyuluhan edukasi melalui media video, pemberian buku PMT dan kartuu BB Goal. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian masyarakat berada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas kendal Kabupaten Ngawi, Jawa Timur. Tepatnya di Posyandu Pucanganom 2 Desa kendal. penyuluhan ini dihadiri dengan jumlah responden atau dengan jumlah ibu balita sebanyak 41 orang Metode pelaksanaan berupa pemberian edukasi. Kegiatan meliputi 3 tahapan yaitu tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan monitoring evaluasi. Monitoring evaluasi meliputi pre test dan post test pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku ibu balita. Hasil yang didapat kemudian di uji menggunakan uji dependent ttest. Pada hasil uji t-berpasangan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku diperoleh nilai significance 0,000 atau p-value 0,05 secara statistik terdapat perbedaan rerata nilai pre-test dan post-test dan terjadi peningkatan rerata skor pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku ibu balita. Pemberian edukasi melalui video dapat meningkatkan pengetahuuan , sikap dan perilaku ibu terhadap gizi seimbang, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan berat badan balita

Abstract

Peran kader sangat penting bagi masyarakat. Sebagai edukator, motivator, administrator dan penggerak masyarakat dalam hal kesehatan. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader yang belum optimal dapat terjadi karena banyak faktor diantaranya adalah edukasi, pendampingan, pelatihan oleh akademisi maupun paktisi. Pelayanan kesehatan di posyandu merupakan langkah startegis peningkatan derajat kesehatan bayi dan balita. Pemberian edukasi pada kader terkait pemberian makanan tambahan sangat diperlukan karena kader juga berperan dalam penyediaan PMT penyuluhan maupun pemulihan. Materi disamaikan dengan metode ceramah, presentasi dilanjutkan sesi diskusi. Kader menyimak materi dengan antusias serta komunikatif. Berdasar hasil pre dan post test pengetahuan kader berbeda signifikan dan menunjukkan keberhasilan kegiatan. Demo masak hingga lomba modifikasi resep serta menghias PMT diikuti dengan seksama. Ditemukan ada beberapa bahan yang tidak dianjukan dalam komposisi PMT diantaranya kental manis dan penyedap rasa tinggi natrium.

Abstract

OSIS menjadi wadah organisasi bagi para siswa dalam melakukan kegiatan bersama, bertukar ilmu, bertukar pikiran, dan mengeluarkan pendapat untuk mencapai tujuan dan cita-cita bersama. Teknologi informasi memegang peranan yang sangat penting pada era globalisasi. Sebagain besar penduduk berusia remaja yang masuk kelompok potensial. Prestasi dan potensi dusun dalam berbagai bidang termasuk pendidikan dan olahraga belum mendapat perhatian dikarenakan belum ada publikasi dalam bentuk media informasi. Beberapa kegiatan dipandang perlu dilakukan diantaranya pendampingan tata kelola multimedia sebagai media pengembangan literasi dan informasi potensi lembaga pendidikan di Dusun Tempurejo tepatnya di MTS Fie Sabilil Muttaqien. Selain itu, untuk meningkatkan kesehatan dilakukan sosialisasi cara penyimpanan obat, gizi seimbang dan pembuatan handsanitizer. Metode pelaksanaan berupa pendampingan dan pemberian edukasi. Monitoring evaluasi berupa  pemberian pre dan post test pengetahuan. Dari hasil kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan, telah terlaksana semua rancangan program yang telah disusun, dengan persentase keberhasilan 100%. Adapun beberapa keluaran yang dicapai selama kegiatan adalah: Pemahaman siswa mengenai wawasan DaGuSiBu; Pemahaman terhadap wawasan Gizi seimbang; Pembuatan handsanitizer; Meningkatkan kemampuan dan kreativitas siswa dalam literasi digital khususnya pembuatan desain majalah, kepenulisan dan layout majalah, melalui pemanfaatan media internet yang dapat diakses secara gratis; Media cetak berupa poster, leaflet dan majalah; Media digital berupa alamat E-mail OSIS MTs. Fie Sabilil Muttaqien, Instagram dan Fismate E-Magazine; Fie Sabilitize Handsanitizer.
