Abstract

Psychological well-being is a positive evaluation of oneself that is derived from oneself and others, the ability to direct themselves and their environment, a feeling of growth and development, the ability to interpret life, and the ability to associate well with others. One of the factors that can improve psychological well-being is self-compassion. The purpose of this study was to determine the predictive relationship between self-compassion and the psychological well-being of students at three public universities in Malang. This study used quantitative research methods and accidental sampling techniques. The research sample was 250 students from Universitas Negeri Malang, Universitas Brawijaya, and UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim. The research instrument used was the self-compassion scale to measure self-compassion and the Indonesian version of the psychological well-being scale to measure psychological well-being. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that self-compassion predicts psychological well-being. The result of R Square= 0.548 means that the self-compassion component contributes 54.8% to psychological well-being. Based on the results found, self-compassion can be a predictor in improving the psychological well-being of students at three public universities in Malang. AbstrakPsychological well-being adalah evaluasi positif yang dilakukan untuk diri sendiri dan orang lain, kemampuan mengarahkan diri dan lingkungannya, perasaan tumbuh dan berkembang, kemampuan menginterpretasikan kehidupan, dan kemampuan bergaul dengan baik dengan orang lain. Salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan psychological well-being adalah self-compassion. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan prediktif antara self-compassion dan psychological well-being mahasiswa di tiga perguruan tinggi negeri di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah 250 mahasiswa dari Universitas Negeri Malang, Universitas Brawijaya, dan UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala welas diri untuk mengukur self-compassion dan skala psychological well-being versi Indonesia untuk mengukur kesejahteraan psikologis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan self-compassion memprediksi kesejahteraan psikologis. Hasil R Square=0,548 artinya komponen self-compassion berkontribusi sebesar 54,8% terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis. Berdasarkan hasil yang ditemukan, self-compassion dapat menjadi prediktor dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa di tiga perguruan tinggi negeri di Kota Malang.

Abstract

Many young adults have low Psychological Well-Being, and one of the causes is Fear of Missing Out. Someone who is Fear of Missing Out will be very interested in participating in social media, such as Instagram. This research aims to test the hypothesis that there is a predictive relationship between Fear of Missing Out and Psychological Well-Being in students at the Faculty of Psychology, State University of Malang who actively use Instagram. Correlational research is the method used in this research. The data analysis technique in this research uses simple linear regression. The purposive sampling technique was chosen to collect data for this research and obtained 187 subjects with the criteria of actively using Instagram. The instruments used were the Fear of Missing Out scale and the Psychological Well-Being scale. The results of this study show that the hypothesis is proven, namely Fear of Missing Out can predict Psychological Well-Being with a value of R2 = 0.099. This can be interpreted that FoMO as a predictor has an effective contribution of 9.9% to the Psychological Well-Being of students at the Faculty of Psychology, the State University of Malang who use Instagram. AbstrakBanyak individu, khususnya usia dewasa awal yang memiiki Psychological well-being (PWB) rendah, salah satu penyebabnya adalah Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). Seseorang yang FoMO akan sangat tertarik untuk berpartisipasi di media sosial, seperti instagram. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis bahwa ada hubungan prediktif antara FoMO dan psychological well-being (PWB) pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Malang yang aktif menggunakan instagram. Metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional adalah metode yang digunakan dalam riset ini. Teknik analisis data dalam riset ini menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif S1 Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Malang, laki-laki dan perempuan, dan berusia 18-25 tahun. Teknik purposive sampling dipilih dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini dan mendapatkan subjek berjumlah 187 orang dengan kriteria aktif menggunakan instagram. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu skala Fear of Missing Out dan skala Psychological Well-Being. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis terbukti, yaitu FoMO dapat memprediksi PWB dengan nilai R2 = 0,099. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa FoMO sebagai prediktor memiliki kontribusi efektif sebesar 9,9% terhadap PWB mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Malang pengguna instagram.

Abstract

Self-adjustment is an important thing for high school students, especially students who come from outside Java. However, many students have not been able to adjust due to various inhibiting factors they experience. This study aims to determine how much influence resilience has on adjustment in students of Catholic High School. St. Albertus Malang who come from outside Java. This study uses a quantitative method with the research population being active students of Catholic High School. St. Albertus Malang with a stratified random sampling technique, and the sample are tenth grade students who come from outside Java and obtaining 109 respondents. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis. The results of the data analysis show that the correlation between resilience and adjustment in students who come from outside Java at Catholic High School. St. Albertus Malang is 0.816 (p>0.05) so it can be concluded that the hypothesis in this study is rejected, where resilience does not affect adjustment in students of Catholic High School. St. Albertus Malang who come from outside Java. AbstrakPenyesuaian diri merupakan sebuah hal penting bagi para siswa SMA, khususnya siswa yang berasal dari luar pulau Jawa. Namun banyak siswa yang belum bisa menyesuaikan diri karena berbagai faktor penghambat yang dialaminya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh resiliensi terhadap penyesuaian diri pada siswa SMA Katolik St. Albertus Malang yang berasal dari luar pulau Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan populasi penelitiannya merupakan siswa aktif SMA Katolik St. Albertus Malang yang berasal dari luar pulau Jawa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel stratified random sampling, yaitu siswa kelas X (sepuluh) yang berasal dari luar pulau Jawa dan memperoleh responden sebanyak 109 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa tidak ada korelasi antara resiliensi dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa yang berasal dari luar pulau Jawa di SMA Katolik St. Albertus Malang, dengan nilai signifikansi 0.816 (p>0.05), hipotesis penelitian ditolak. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa resiliensi tidak mempengaruhi penyesuaian diri pada siswa SMA Katolik St. Albertus Malang yang berasal dari luar pulau Jawa.

Abstract

The current disruptive era provides challenges for teachers to innovate so that it has an impact on the level of stress experienced by teachers. Prosocial behavior modification support needs to be provided so that teachers can become resilient. The purpose of this service is to explore the effectiveness of prosocial behavior modification to increase teaching resilience in schools. The location of the service activities at SDN 1 Tempurejo, Malang Regency. The service partners are elementary school teachers who are members of the KKG Gugus 7 Kalipare District, Malang Regency, totaling 48 people. The method used is Participatory Action Research and data analysis using t-test. The results of community service activities are the increased understanding of elementary school teachers' knowledge about how to apply prosocial behavior modification strategies to optimize teaching resilience. The results of the understanding of teacher resilience also showed an increase after the implementation of education and socialization conceptualized in the form of seminars. The implication of this activity is that the knowledge that has been obtained by elementary school teachers can be applied sustainably in overcoming various problems that arise in their daily work

Abstract

Academic Engagement is an important concern considering that nursing students will be directly involved with patients and provide nursing care to patients directly. Ideally, undergraduate nursing students in the emerging adulthood phase have a high level of academic engagement. However, reality shows that there are still many students with relatively low levels of academic engagement. This will later have an impact on low academic achievement, low student competence, increased disengagement and increased drop out rates among students. Previous research results show that academic engagement is related to academic resilience and academic self-efficacy. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the influence of academic resilience and academic self-efficacy on the academic engagement of undergraduate nursing students. This type of research is correlational with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample was 312 undergraduate nursing students from STIKes Dian Husada Mojokerto with a sampling technique using stratified random sampling. Statistical analysis uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that academic resilience and academic self-efficacy influence the academic engagement of nursing students.

Abstract

Era digitalisasi membawa manusia pada peradaban hidup bersama teknologi. Berbagai macam platform media menjadi wadah informasi tercepat untuk bisa memperoleh ilmu atau berita kekinian. Namun, tidak semua platform dapat bermanfaat untuk manusia sehingga dibutuhkan kesadaran diri yang baik dalam pemilihan media informasi. Dampak dari kesalahan pemilihan adalah munculnya stressor baru serta ketegangan otot karena ketidaksanggupan individu dalam mengelola kognitif dan perasaan ketika menerima informasi. Berbagai permasalahan kesehatan mental saat ini khususnya di Indonesia menjadi fokus perhatikan untuk tetap menjaga stabilitas keadaan masyarakat. Kabar baiknya, telah banyak tenaga ahli di bidang psikologi yang mendirikan platform sebagai wadah informasi preventif kepada masayarakat umum. Apabila terdapat permasalahan klinis atau kronis dari hasil asesmen psikolog maka disarankan untuk melakukan konseling atau terapi psikologis. Saat ini wadah tersebut dapat berupa aplikasi curhat, konseling dengan psikolog, atau berbagai informasi dari postingan di media sosial. Mengamati fenomena tersebut, peneliti mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi permainan digital yang berguna sebagai media informasi preventif bagi masyarakat umum dengan desain sederhana dan penuh warna. Permainan KESMO Games yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti menggunakan metode RnD dengan model ADDIE. Hasil uji validasi ahli media dan materi menyatakan bahwa KESMO Games layak untuk diimplementasikan. Setelah diimplementasikan kepada 30 partisipan, ditemukan bahwa responden mudah menerima knowledge kesehatan mental menggunakan KESMO Games karena keterbacaan media yang sangat baik dan membawa kesan fun dalam bermain. Berdasarkan hasil dari kegiatan penelitian ini, metode ADDIE efektif digunakan pada KESMO Games yang memuat pengetahuan kesehatan mental dan berhasil menambahkan pemahaman kepada player atau partisipan.

Abstract

Sexual harassment is a crime that is condemned worldwide due to its negative impact. Both religions and state constitutions strictly prohibit sexual abuse. One of the most common cases of sexual abuse in Indonesia is pedophilia. This study aims to determine factors that can reduce sexual harassment behavior, the impact of sexual harassment and factors that can restore victims after experiencing sexual harassment. The research method used in writing the article is a Big Data-based systematic literature review with VOS Viewer visualization by searching for published articles according to the topic published by Google Scholar and Scopus for the last 6 years (2018-2024) with the keyword “Sexual harassment”, “Religiosity”, “Children”, “Child Sexual Abuse” and "Religiosity and Sexual Harassment" obtained 12 articles that met the criteria for research topics after going through a screening process of 500 articles. The results showed that religiosity is a factor that can reduce sexual harassment behavior and is a factor that can restore victims after experiencing sexual harassment. Sexual harassment has short-term and long-term negative impacts on children.

Abstract

Early adulthood is considered one of life's most critical stages. This is because, during this stage, individuals will face a variety of life transitions, making the ability to recover and adapt to difficult situations essential. This term is known as resilience. This study explored the role of social support as a mediator in the relationship between cognitive reappraisal and resilience in young adults. A quantitative method with mediation analysis was used. The study involved 241 participants in early adulthood (18-30 years old) (M = 22.06). The results showed a positive relationship between the use of cognitive reappraisal and resilience (r = 0.802; p .001). Furthermore, social support can mediate the relationship between the use of cognitive reappraisal and resilience (β = 0.598, p .001). It can be concluded that strategy to increase resilience in young adults can be strengthened through the optimization of cognitive reappraisal and social support. Dewasa awal merupakan salah satu tahapan yang dinilai cukup kritis. Hal ini dikarenakan pada tahap ini, individu akan menghadapi transisi kehidupan yang cukup beragam, sehingga kemampuan individu untuk bangkit dan adaptif dari keadaan sulit diperlukan pada tahapan ini. Istilah ini dikenal dengan nama resiliensi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi peran dukungan sosial sebagai mediator dalam hubungan cognitive reappraisal dengan resiliensi pada individu dewasa awal. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode kuantitatif dengan analisis mediasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan partisipan yang berada pada tahap dewasa awal (18 – 30 tahun) sejumlah 241 orang (M = 22,06). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara penggunaan cognitive reappraisal dan resiliensi (r = 0,802; p .001). Selanjutnya, dukungan sosial dapat berperan dalam memediasi hubungan antara penggunaan cognitive reappraisal dan resiliensi (β = 0,598, p .001). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan resiliensi pada individu dewasa awal dapat diperkuat melalui optimalisasi penggunaan cognitive reappraisal dan dukungan sosial.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to conduct an evaluation review of the effectiveness of using direct instruction in educational psychology. In this review, the author analyzes various aspects ranging from the underlying theory, application, and influence on student learning outcomes and motivation. This study uses a comprehensive literature review method, with data taken from various sources such as journal articles, textbooks, and other related publications. The results of the study show that direct instruction is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially in subjects that are structured and skill-based. This approach can increase the efficiency of the learning process, provide students with a program-like structure, and enable them to master the material gradually. However, the effectiveness of direct instruction tends to vary depending on student characteristics, subject type, and the quality of the method's implementation. Abstrak: Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk melakukan review evaluasi tentang efektivitas penggunaan pembelajaran langsung dalam psikologi pendidikan. Dalam review, penulis menganalisis beragam aspek mulai dari teoretis yang mendasari, penerapan, dan pengaruh terhadap hasil serta motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur secara menyeluruh, data diambil dari berbagai sumber seperti artikel jurnal, buku teks, dan publikasi-publikasi lain berkaitan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran langsung cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, khususnya pada mata pelajaran yang strukturnya terorganisir dan berdasarkan keterampilan. Pendekatan ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses belajar, memberikan struktur bersifat program kepada siswa, serta memungkinkan mereka untuk menguasai materi secara bertahap. Meskipun, efektivitas pembelajaran langsung cenderung bervariasi bergantung kepada karakteristik siswa, jenis mata pelajaran, dan pada kualitas pelaksanaan metode tersebut. Kata kunci : Pembelajaran Langsung, Hasil Belajar, Motivasi, Strategi Pembelajaran.
