This study aims to examine the application of the inquiry learning model in improving critical thinking skills and fundamental movement skills through invasion games among elementary school students. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study consisted of all fourth-grade students of SDN 151 Sukasenang, Bandung City, totaling 22 students, with a sample of 22 students selected using purposive sampling, divided into 9 students of class IV A as the control group and 13 students of class IV B as the treatment group. Data were collected using the Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2) instrument to measure fundamental movement skills and a questionnaire instrument to measure students' critical thinking skills. The data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, Levene's homogeneity test, and Paired Samples T-Test. The results showed that the mean score of critical thinking skills increased from 55.18 to 64.50 (t = -5.355; Sig. <0.001), while the mean score of gross motor ability (TGMD-2) increased from 60.32 to 69.05 (t = -8.859; Sig. <0.001). Therefore, the implementation of the inquiry learning model through invasion games is proven effective in improving elementary school students' critical thinking skills and fundamental movement skills.
