Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan upaya meningkatkan aktivitas dan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi pokok SPLDV kelas VIII SMPN 3 Lingsar melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus yang memuat tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-B SMPN 3 Lingsar yang terdiri dari 27 siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif berupa data hasil observasi siswa dan pendekatan kuantitatif yang berupa data hasil tes evaluasi hasil belajar siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar yang diberikan setiap akhir siklus dan lembar observasi untuk memperoleh gambaran langsung tentang kegiatan belajar matematika melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achivement Division. Hasil penelitian siklus I diperoleh skor rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa 2,13 yang berada pada kategori aktif dan presentase ketuntasan klasikal 51,85% dengan rata-rata nilai 64,66, sedangkan pada siklus II  skor rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa 2,5 yang berada pada kategori sangat aktif dan presentase ketuntasan klasikal 92,30% dengan nilai rata-rata 84,42. Dengan melihat presentase hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal telah tercapai dan aktivitas belajar siswa sudah berada pada kategori sangat aktif. Dengan demikian, dapat diambil suatu kesimpulan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achivement Division dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas VIII-B SMPN 3 Lingsar .

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Lingsar mengalami masalah, dimana daya serap siswa terhadap materi lamban, kemudian siswa kurang berani untuk mencoba menjawab atau mengemukakan pendapatnya yang mengakibatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar matematika rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya inovasi guru dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat dalam menyampaikan materi. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Lingsar pada materi pokok kubus dan balok  dengan menerapkan teori belajar Skinner berbasis talking stick. Teori belajar Skinner berbasis talking stick merupakan perpaduan antara teori dengan metode pembelajaran yang mampu menghasilkan sprit bagi siswa dan guru dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif sehingga aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.B Semester Genap SMP Negeri 5 Lingsar yang terdiri dari 25 siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes evaluasi. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian adalah aktivitas belajar siswa minimal berkategori aktif dan prestasi belajar siswa mencapai ketuntasan ≥ 85% siswa mendapatkan nilai ≥ 60. Dari hasil penelitian pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 2,33 dengan kategori cukup aktif dan hasil evaluasi diperoleh persentase ketuntasan klasikal 78,95%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan penelitian. Oleh karena itu dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa 3,19 dengan kategori aktif dan hasil evaluasi diperoleh persentase ketuntasan klasikal 90%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan teori belajar Skinner berbasis talking stick dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Lingsar pada materi pokok kubus dan balok

Abstract

Pembelajaran klasikal/tradisional masih diterapkan di Madrasah Aliyah Darussalam Bermi. Dengan metode pembelajaran ini mengakibatkan dalam pembelajaran yang aktif hanya siswa yang mempunyai daya serap lebih cepat (pintar) sedangkansiswa yang lemah daya serapnya menjadi pasif. Olehkarena itu, peneliti mencoba menerapkan metode pembelajaran EPA (Eksplorasi, Pengenalan dan Aplikasi Konsep) dalam proses belajarmengajar. Adapun tujuannya adalah  untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil  belajar siswa pada materi pokok perbandingan trigonometri. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan beberapa siklus kepada siswa kelas X MA Darussalam Bermi sebagai populasi dan siswa kelas XB yang berjumlah 34 orang sebagai sampel penelitiannya.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes evaluasi dan observasi sedangkan teknik analisa datanya dilakukan secara deskriptif. Ketuntasan klasikal  yang dicapai pada siklus I adalah 63,33 % sedangkan pada siklus II 93,33 %. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran EPA (Eksplorasi, Pengenalan dan Aplikasi Konsep) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok trigonometri kelas X B MA Darussalam Bermi .

Abstract

Abstract: The learning process of teachers tends to use conventional models during the learning process takes place, students are only focused on listening to the delivery of lessons given by the teacher, whereas between one student and other students there is no visible communication relationship, because when learning activities take place students only listen to the teacher's explanation and note material presented by the teacher. This results in the low student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to improve the process and student learning outcomes of mathematics through a scientific approach to the circle material in class VIII students of MTs Rabitatus Sa’adah. This type of research used in this research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages including, 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection. This research instrument uses student and teacher observation sheets and question sheets. The results showed that in cycle 1 the classical completeness of students reached 65%. Then in the second cycle the classical completeness of students reaches 85%. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that through scientific learning can improve the activities and learning outcomes of students of class VIII MTs Rabitatus Saadah 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the difficulty of students in solving problems in the form of algebra clas VIII in terms of 3 indicators, namely (1) difficulty understanding concepts (2) difficulty understanding principles (3) difficulty understanding verbal problems. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at Madrsarah Tsanawiyah Darul Hikmah of West Lombok. Data analysis techniques used are dat  reduction, data display, and conclusions distribution. The result of the study stated that (1) students ability to understand concept was in the low category. The difficukty in understanding the concept is not being able to define terms. Coefficients, variables, and constants. (2) the ability of students to understand the principle is in the low category. Difficulty in understanding the principle that students are not able to operate the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of algebraic forms if the variables are similar and not similar. (3) the ability of student to understand verbal problems is in the low category. The difficulty of student in understanding verbal problems is that students are not able to understand the purpose of questions in the form  of stories, student do not understand what is asked in the problem. This show  that the ability of student in each indicator  is  categorized as low.

Abstract

The problem and challenge of learning mathematics in West Lombok in particular and Indonesia in general is the low ability of students' mathematical literacy. The findings of researchers in the field are that students' understanding of mathematics is a standard procedure for solving routine problems. Students have difficulty solving problems in the form of mathematical applications in everyday life. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve students' abilities in the process of constructing, simplifying, and compiling mathematical models, as well as their use in solving everyday problems. One thing that can be done is to simplify the mathematical concept into a series of activities in accordance with the sequence of students' knowledge development by using environmental media as a learning medium. Such a learning concept is scientific learning based on local wisdom. The purpose of this research is to produce scientific learning tools based on local wisdom that can improve the mathematics literacy skills of SMP / MTs students in West Lombok Regency. This type of research is Development Research. This research procedure carried out by referring to the 4-D Model, namely the Define stage, the Design stage, the Develop stage, and the Disseminate stage. The results of the validation show that local wisdom-based scientific learning tools are in the very valid category. The test results show that local wisdom-based scientific learning tools are very effective in improving the mathematics literacy skills of SMP / MTs students in West Lombok.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' critical thinking skills in terms of gender differences in class X, XI MIPA students of SMA Negeri 1 Kayangan. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of the study totaled 18 people, which consisted of subjects on a gender perspective selected based on the results of previously implemented tests, namely 6 people for the gender perspective. Data were collected through test results of critical thinking skills as well as interview results as a follow-up to deepen the findings obtained from the test results. The results of this study showed that for critical thinking ability in terms of gender in the high category showed that for L1 subjects did not meet the self-regulation indicators and P1 subjects met all indicators. In the medium category it is shown that for subjects L2 does not meet on the analysis indicators whereas the P2 subjects do not meet on the interpretation and analysis indicators. In the low category it shows that neither the L3 subject nor the P3 subject meets all indicators. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that when viewed from a gender perspective, the ability to think krtitis between male and female subjects does not show significantly where the difference in critical thinking ability lies.

Abstract

The learning of introductory mathematics courses in the Undikma FSTT Mathematics Education Study program has so far been carried out in a monotonous manner. The lecturer explains the material, gives examples of questions, and gives exercises. The impact is the low achievement of student learning outcomes. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through the application of drill and practice learning with projects. This type of research is classroom action research. Data collection was carried out by evaluating student learning outcomes. The results of the study obtained an average score of student learning outcomes reaching 89.2% in the Very Good category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Implementation of Drill and Practice Learning with Projects able to Improve Student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The problem that often occurs is the decreased interest in learning and the results of learning mathematics in these students. The purpose of this study was to increase students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics using the guided inquiry method at MTs. Al-Ishlahussibyan. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of several stages including the stages of planning, action, implementation and reflection on the results of the research conducted. The population of this research is all MTs students. Al-Ishlahussibyan, with the sample of this study being class IX students, data collection was carried out by administering an evaluation test of students' mathematics learning outcomes and a questionnaire of students' interest in learning mathematics, the results showed that there was an increase in the average learning outcomes of 57.98 out of 28, 77 in Cycle I and became 86.75 in Cycle II, as well as increasing students' interest in learning mathematics from cycle I with a positive category to Cycle II becoming a very positive category, it can be concluded that the use of the guided inquiry method can increase students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics in class IX at MTs. Al-Ishlahussibyan. Based on this research, it is hoped that it can help students and teachers in the learning process so that it can increase students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics for the better.

Abstract

Learning tools have a very important role in the learning process. Good learning tools make it easier for teachers to assist in the process of facilitating student learning. The aim of this research is to produce project-based mathematics learning tools that are valid, efficient and effective for improving students' social skills and cognitive learning outcomes. The type of research that will be used in this research is Development Research. The development model used is a development model adapted from the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The data collection instruments used include device validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, student social skills observation sheets and cognitive ability evaluation test sheets. The research results obtained: the results of device validation, the average score reached 4.2 with a very valid category; The average percentage of students' social skills scores reached 89.2% in the very good category; classical completeness reached 82% of students achieving a complete score; and teacher and student response data reached 4.2 to 93.3% which is in the very good category. Thus, it can be concluded that project-based mathematics learning tools are valid, efficient and effective for improving students' social skills and cognitive learning outcomes in statistics material.
