Abstract

Curriculum changes in madrasas are a phenomenon that continues to develop along with the demands of modern education. This study employs a meta-analysis and systematic review methodology to assess the efficacy of curriculum modifications and the factors that affect them. Data were gathered from multiple studies published between 2020 and 2024 utilizing the PRISMA methodology to guarantee transparency and precision in the analysis. The study's findings indicate that modifications to madrasa curricula positively influence student learning outcomes; however, their efficacy is contingent upon teacher preparedness, policy backing, and resource accessibility. Elements such as the leadership of madrasah principals, educational regulations, and infrastructure preparedness contribute to effective implementation. Furthermore, educators encounter obstacles in adapting to the Merdeka Curriculum, which offers flexibility in the learning process. The research underscores the necessity of a more comprehensive implementation strategy, which should include implementing rigorous regulations and providing extensive teacher training to ensure that curriculum changes in madrasas are implemented sustainably and optimally.

This study discusses the leadership management of the head of the Public Health Center (Puskesmas) through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with the PRISMA method. This study aims to investigate how the leadership style of the head of the Health Center influences the quality of health services and organizational effectiveness. The study's findings show that transformational and participative leadership help raise the health workers' job satisfaction, team coordination, and motivation. Nevertheless, the primary impediments to optimizing leadership are a variety of challenges, including a lack of managerial training, limited resources, and obstacles in policy implementation. Consequently, a strategy is required to enhance leadership capacity using ongoing training, the strengthening of data-based management systems, and policy reforms that support the effectiveness of Community Health Centers as the centre of public health services. This study offers stakeholders recommendations for enhancing leadership management in Community Health Centers to achieve more optimal health services.

Abstract

Religious moderation has become an urgent issue in Indonesia’s educational context, particularly in fostering tolerance and preventing radicalism among students. Schools play a crucial role in shaping students’ perspectives on religious diversity, with Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers serving as key agents in instilling moderation values. However, the implementation of religious moderation in schools faces various challenges, including curriculum constraints, sociocultural influences, and students’ diverse backgrounds. This study aims to analyze the specific strategies employed by IRE teachers in fostering religious moderation, the challenges they encounter, and the impact of their efforts on students. Using a qualitative research method with a social phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving IRE teachers and students in a senior high school in Banten, Indonesia. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify recurring patterns and key themes related to religious moderation practices. The findings indicate that IRE teachers implement religious moderation through interactive teaching methods, interfaith dialogues, and role-modeling behaviors that emphasize tolerance and balance. However, challenges such as limited institutional support, resistance from certain groups, and a lack of comprehensive training hinder the effectiveness of these efforts. Despite these obstacles, the study highlights the positive influence of IRE teachers in fostering an inclusive and harmonious school environment. The implications of this research suggest the need for more structured teacher training programs, curriculum adjustments to integrate religious moderation effectively, and policy support from educational institutions. These findings contribute to the broader discourse on religious moderation and provide practical recommendations for improving Islamic education in diverse learning environments.

Abstract

Every teaching and learning activity must have a goal to be achieved. Specific instructional objectives are the results expected by the teacher for students during and after learning activities. In other words, these objectives include what students should have and demonstrate after learning. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methodology, and the data collection technique is literature study. The characteristics of instructional objectives include four important elements which are denoted as ABCD, which represent Audience, Behavior, Condition, and Degree and also Criteria which serve as a fundamental benchmark for assessing the quality of certain learning objectives. The specific instructional objectives are to set expectations for learning activities, determine the beginning of instructional provisions, create instructional strategies, produce test instruments for final learning outcomes, carry out improvements to teaching and learning activities, and also determine teaching media. One of the obstacles to having specific instructional goals in schools is that teachers have not applied values to all learning materials when they make lesson plans.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the extent to which the use of pictured number card media influences the counting ability of students with mild intellectual disabilities at the Special School (Sekolah Khusus/Fauzan SKh) in Serang Regency.  the primary research question was whether the use of pictured number card media had a significant effect on the counting skills of students with mild intellectual disabilities at Fauzan Special School. The hypotheses of this study comprised a null hypothesis (Ho), which stated that the media had no effect on the students’ counting skills, and an alternative hypothesis (H1), which posited a significant effect. The study employed a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 23 students with special needs, from which a sample of 10 students with mild intellectual disabilities was selected. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The results, analyzed using the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs test at a significance level of 0.05, yielded ap-value of 0.005. Since this value was less than 0.05, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. These findings indicated that the use of pictured number card media significantly improved the counting skills of students with mild intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of various leadership styles on Islamic boarding school management through a meta-analysis and systematic review approach. In this research, data was collected from various studies related to transformational, transactional, charismatic, participative and autocratic leadership styles applied in Islamic boarding schools. The results of the analysis show that the transformational leadership style has proven to be the most effective in increasing students' motivation and self-development, while the transactional style focuses more on discipline and operational efficiency. The charismatic style is able to motivate students, but needs to be balanced with the development of other aspects of leadership to avoid excessive dependence. The participatory style increases students' sense of responsibility and loyalty, although it requires more time and effort to implement. An autocratic leadership style is more effective in contexts that require strict structure and discipline, but can reduce creativity and initiative. This research concludes that an adaptive combination of various leadership styles is needed to create an environment that is conducive to the development of students and improve the performance of Islamic boarding schools as a whole.
