Abstract

This study uses perceived organizational support (POS) as a mediating variable in a private institution to investigate how self-efficacy and knowledge sharing affect professor performance.  240 lecturers from 16 private universities in Palembang City were surveyed as part of this study's quantitative technique, which was chosen by stratified random sampling.  Through LISREL, structural equation modeling, or SEM, was used to analyze the data.  The results show that while self-efficacy has no direct impact on lecturer performance, it has a favorable and significant impact on POS.  On the other hand, it has been demonstrated that information exchange considerably and favorably affects lecturer performance, but not perceived organizational support (POS). Concurrently, it has been demonstrated that POS mediates the relationship between self-efficacy and lecturer performance and considerably enhances lecturer performance; however, it does not mediate the relationship between performance and knowledge sharing.  These results validate the importance of organizational support in maximizing individual contributions, especially in boosting knowledge-sharing behavior and self-efficacy.  According to this study, private institutions should enhance organizational support systems that can boost self-esteem and promote a knowledge-sharing culture in order to maximize the effectiveness of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

Design/Methode/Approach: The research design used a survey approach to 350 respondents, namely MSMEs in OKU Regency. The analysis technique was carried out using a structural equation model (SEM) approach. Research Findings: This study's results found that adaptability significantly affects the performance of MSMEs in the OKU District. This means that the better adaptability of MSME actors will positively impact their business performance. Theoretical Contribution/ Originality: This research can provide new insights and valuable information to stakeholders in OKU District. Adaptability reflects the extent to which MSMEs are able to face changes in the external environment and change their business strategies responsively. Focusing on this variable can provide a deeper understanding of how MSMEs can survive and thrive in changing situations. Practitionel/Policy implication: The government and other stakeholders can use the results of this research to provide better resources and support to MSMEs in OKU District. This kind of support can help MSMEs in developing their adaptability and improve their overall business performance. Research limitation: Although this study demonstrates a relationship between adaptability and MSME performance, it should be noted that observational studies such as this one cannot establish a direct cause-and-effect relationship. Even though there is a strong statistical relationship between the variables studied, there may be other unmeasured factors influencing the relationship. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out further research, such as experiments or longitudinal research, to better understand the nature of the causality between adaptability and MSME performance.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of self-efficacy on green employee behavior mediated by green employee engagement and green attitude. This study is a survey of private lecturers in Indonesia who practice environmentally friendly living.  The sampling technique was purposive, with a sample of 123 respondents. Self-efficacy has a positive and significant influence on green employee behavior, mediated by green employer engagement and green attitude. This study highlights how environmentally friendly behavior, especially among lecturers, can be an essential step in addressing the problem of garbage. Teachers can serve as role models for students and staff and support sustainability initiatives on campus. Implementing Employee Green Behavior (EGB) practices within academic communities is essential to mitigate environmental impacts, as both individuals and institutions play crucial roles in sustainability. Based on this research, private colleges in Indonesia should consider implementing strategic measures to enhance faculty engagement in environmentally friendly practices. Second, green employee engagement should be improved through more structured sustainability initiatives to cultivate green attitudes, which significantly influence employees' green behavior. Third, universities need to implement environmental education programs, awareness campaigns, and incentives for environmentally friendly practices to develop pro-environmental attitudes that, in turn, encourage green employers' behavior.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the relationship between financial governance and internal control, and to analyze how good governance mediates the relationship between these two constructs and performance accountability. The research employs a quantitative method in which financial governance and internal control serve as independent variables, performance accountability as the dependent variable, and good governance as the mediating variable. The population of this study comprises 239 employees of the BRPPUPP. Primary data were obtained from questionnaires distributed to respondents, and secondary data were collected from institutional records. The results indicate a significant and positive relationship between financial governance and internal control on performance accountability, and that the good governance variable mediates this relationship

Abstract

ABSTRACT This preliminary study, conducted under the Community Service Program (PKM), explores the development and implementation of smart homes in Indonesia through field observations in several newly built residential complexes. The study aims to identify opportunities and challenges related to the adoption of smart home technologies and to examine how the findings can be utilized as cross-generational educational insights. The development of smart homes in Indonesia has accelerated notably over the past eight years, driven by the increasing integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, environmentally conscious architectural design, and the growing societal demand for secure, efficient, and AI-adaptive living environments. The methods employed in this study include direct observation, visual documentation, and informal discussions with residents, resulting in practical insights concerning community readiness, investment potential, and the need for improved digital literacy. The findings reveal rising interest in smart homes and strong prospects for further development, although challenges persist, particularly those related to technological understanding and varying levels of adaptation across age groups. The study concludes that public education and community empowerment play crucial roles in supporting the transition toward sustainable smart living. Future research is recommended to explore the design of educational interventions, strategies for enhancing user self-efficacy, and collaborative models involving academia, developers, and communities to advance the smart living ecosystem. Abstract

Higher education products or services received by students are experiential values. The purpose of this study is how to create the values of student experience so that student satisfaction arises. Higher education should now focus on students by creating strong ties with students and alumni. This research was conducted with a survey confirmatory approach. The survey was conducted at 32 universities in South Sumatra Province, Indonesia with a total sample of 357 students. The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling and data analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis. The results showed that the values of experience in HE were formed through increased co-creation in HE, where students were directly involved in various campus activities. High co-creation shows that there is a stronger attachment of students to HE and higher value of student experience. Co-creation does not directly affect student satisfaction, but it does indirectly affect experience value. If the value of experience is higher, student satisfaction will also be higher.

Abstract

This study examines how strategic leadership orientations and managerial decisions shape the performance of supervisory personnel in Islamic Senior High Schools in Palembang, Indonesia. Employing an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach (Smith et al., 2009) and grounded in qualitative inquiry principles (Creswell & Creswell, 2017), the research uncovers how supervisors interpret leadership expectations, negotiate structural constraints, and enact their roles in everyday practice. Data were generated through semi-structured interviews, field observations, and document review involving supervisory stakeholders at School Y. Findings reveal four key dynamics: (1) supervision planning is consistently initiated through early-year coordination, yet implementation fluctuates due to prioritization shifts and operational overload; (2) coaching occurs through school visitations and mentoring, but remains primarily administrative rather than pedagogical; (3) structural limitations, including inadequate competency-based recruitment, aging workforce profiles, and uneven professional development access, weaken supervisory agility; and (4) supervisors actively engage in adaptive meaning-making, self-learning, and informal peer collaboration to compensate for systemic constraints. The study concludes that effective supervisory development requires strengthened regulatory governance, sustained curriculum-based competency training, and strategic specialization of supervisory roles. Enhancing these mechanisms will enable supervisors to transition from compliance enforcers to instructional leaders capable of driving meaningful school improvement. The results contribute theoretically to supervisory governance within Islamic education and offer practical reform pathways for leadership-based supervision enhancement in Indonesian secondary schools.
