Abstract

The community service program that we are conducting aims to train the creativity of elementary school educators in the Babat Lamongan elementary and secondary education environment through the creation of interactive media. The methods used are the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. Based on the results of the activity, it shows that all educators can follow and create interactive media based on the deep learning model in PKM activities with full creativity and enthusiasm. Interactive media based on the deep learning model can be one of the media for educators to tell and explain their ideas in the learning process. Through this interactive media, students can develop their writing skills and through this interactive media. The process of creating interactive media based on the deep learning model certainly also involves digital sources to create real concepts, of course this can help students improve their writing and speaking skills. The success and creativity of educators in the Babat Lamongan elementary and secondary education environment in creating unique and reactive interactive media as a whole, this activity can be a valuable media to support the writing and speaking skills of students at the elementary school level to the maximum.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence is an educational concept that has not been widely noticed by educators in the world of education. In general, the world of education is dominated by the concept of intellectual intelligence that includes theory and practice. In relation to Islamic education, emotional intelligence has a significant influence to realize individuals who are knowledgeable and noble in accordance with the characteristics of Islamic teachings. This research aims to examine the contribution of Islamic education in fostering emotional intelligence which includes the concept of emotional intelligence according to the Islamic point of view as well as the strategy and implementation of Islamic education in fostering emotional intelligence. This research uses library research method, which is a research method that is done by studying several media or scientific facilities such as books, scientific papers, journals, and articles to solve a particular problem. The problems studied in this study include how the concept of emotional intelligence according to the Islamic point of view and how the strategy and implementation of Islamic education in fostering emotional intelligence. The results of this study are describing the concept of emotional intelligence according to the Islamic point of view, outlining Islamic education strategies in fostering emotional intelligence and explaining the implementation of Islamic education in fostering emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This study uses a research design adapted from Plomp (1997), which is considered a general model that is easy to apply in the development of learning models. The stages in this research include: (1) Initial investigation or preliminary study; (2) Design; (3) Realisation/Construction; (4) Expert validation test, pilot test, evaluation, and revision; and (5) Implementation. The main purpose of this research is to develop a learning model for primary school students, especially grade V students. The developed learning model refers to VARK (Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic) based on Digital Scrapbook. This model aims to familiarise students in reading the Qur'an well and improve their skills. This approach incorporates a variety of learning styles to support a thorough mastery of Qur'ānic reading skills. Digital Scrapbook-based VARK is designed to suit students' needs and facilitate variations in their ways of learning. This research is expected to produce an innovative learning model that is effective and easy to implement in the context of Islamic values-based basic education. Highlights: Improved Reading Ability: Students taught using the PQRST-STAD method with short videos performed better than those using picture series. Method Effectiveness: Short videos enhance the effectiveness of integrated PQRST-STAD for reading narrative texts. Future Recommendations: Further development is needed in designing creative and detailed video/image content for learning. Keywords: Digital Scrapbook, Al-Quran, Reading Skills

Abstract

Balun Village is one of the Pancasila villages in Lamongan Regency. There are three religions practiced by the village community, namely Islam, Protestant Christianity and Hinduism, they apply moderation and tolerance that varies between religious communities as part of the implementation of Pancasila values. Balun Village is located in Turi sub-district, Lamongan district. This village is often visited by Pancasila tourists from various circles, ranging from elementary school, middle school, high school students, even students who conduct research there. It is good in the village. The nickname of the village "Pancasila" for Balun, Turi sub-district, Lamongan regency, East Java, contains the values of Pancasila and tolerance that develop in it. The village, which is 4 kilometers from the city of Lamongan, is inhabited by three religious adherents who not only respect and appreciate each other but also make inter-religious harmony in their society as an identity for their village. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. This approach was chosen because in this study the variable is about "Inter-Religious Tolerance" so that in-depth information is needed through the process of observation, interviews, and documentation.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are an ability that must be possessed by students in the learning process. The process of learning mathematics is interrelated with the learning process of critical thinking in students because it trains students to solve problems that are included in the indicators of critical thinking skills. Many students are not interested in learning mathematics so that their critical thinking skills become low due to lack of problem solving. This study aims to determine the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students in mathematics. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative descriptive method is a research method carried out based on a qualitative approach that covers natural conditions and problems about a person's experience in the place under study. The instruments used in collecting research data are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The subjects of this research were students of SD Muhammadiyah Sugio Lamongan. The focus of this research is the ability of critical thinking in grade IV students at SD Muhammadiyah Sugio Lamongan. The results of this study indicate that students' critical thinking skills in math subjects are still fairly low. This is because among the six indicators of critical thinking skills observed there are still many students who have not fulfilled these indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video animasi berbasis storytelling yang dirancang sesuai karakteristik siswa guna meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV MIM 16 Karangasem Paciran. Metode penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE dengan desain control group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 26 siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket respon dan aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) media sangat valid digunakan dengan validasi ahli media 92,5%, ahli desain 96,25%, ahli materi 97,35%, validasi perangkat pembelajaran 97,70%, dan angket minat baca 94,73%; (2) media sangat praktis dengan skor respon siswa 90% (kelompok kecil) dan 91% (kelompok besar). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa media video animasi berbasis storytelling mampu mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya minat dan motivasi belajar siswa, serta layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Education has an important role in developing students' potential, one of which is through learning mathematics. Mathematics is not only related to numbers and calculations, but also trains the ability to think logically, critically, and systematically. In elementary school, flat building material is an important basis for understanding geometry concepts. In order for students to easily understand this material, an interesting and effective learning approach is needed. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by wordwall media. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class IV B SDN 4 Made. Data collection techniques used tests, observation, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase: teacher activity increased from 50% to 89.42%, student activity from 51.14% to 94.32%, and student learning outcomes from 24.14% to 89.66%. Thus, the TPS learning model assisted by Wordwall media was proven effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes on the material of flat shapes.

Abstract

Program kebijakan pendidikan yang menempatkan kebutuhan, hak dan perkembangan anak sebagai prioritas utama dalam setiap proses pembelajaran. Kebhinekaan global merupakan suatu rasa toleransi kepada kemajemukan suku ataupun bahasa dan saling menghargai pada perbedaan. Oleh karena itu, pentingnya sekolah ramah anak dalam mewujudkan kemajemukan di tengah keberagaman. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menggambarkan potret sekolah ramah anak sebagai upaya mewujudkan dimensi kebhinekaan global di kelas V SD Muhammadiyah 1 Pucuk. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas V dan siswa kelas V. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu model miles Huberman dan triangulasi sumber, teknik dan waktu. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu SD Muhammadiyah Pucuk memiliki kriteria sekolah ramah anak. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari kebijakan sekolah, pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang aman dan menyenangkan serta partisipasi anak yang aktif dan memiliki saran prasarana yang menunjang dengan kriteria sangat terpenuhi. Sedangkan dari segi dimensi kebhinekaan global SD Muhammadiyah 1 Pucuk memiliki kriteria sekolah dimensi kebhinekaan global.
